I watch and think that the first episode is kind of boring, and then BANG! There is a woman in the kitchen with a gun in her hands and then it went on – interest in how she would take revenge on her brother and the gang instantly grew – now I would like to watch the rest of the series.
To be honest, you can stick to aesthetics here at least: all these colors, neon, retro cars, pin-up girls, 50-60s style, mmm... Moreover, I really like that the production goes beyond time, leaves the story clean, without reference to the period and at the same time, to all epochs at once.
Meredith's brothel walk is just brilliant, Madison is burning like a hundred lights. Little is clear about the heroine yet, but the audacity is for me. Santoro's hero is such a straight dad from all angles. It's clear that this load is too heavy for him, to wipe up all the shit and keep order while the boss is wandering around in losses.
Everything was just beautiful, and in principle I am indifferent to revenge films (except for "Kill Bill", there is a purely Tarantino symphony, it is difficult to resist), but oh how well they wrapped up the feint at the end with the sent Cossack, and oh how beautifully Catherine-Doris pinned her father's son. Plus, I really like that they did not make a typical retribution to a lover, but a purely family showdown. Abigail is simply the highest in this role, I love every scene with her participation.
I join all the commentators, the plot is very intriguing! I really like the atmosphere, the surroundings, and the cast is just a delight to the eyes) We look further
Everything is in the style of the 50s, like, but mobile... Strange)
And so the beginning is intriguing.
