The series, of course, is stylish and beautiful, but this “stylish and beautiful” is separate, and the plot is separate. Very often it seemed that some shots and moments were included in the series only for the sake of the trailer. Without constant flashbacks, it would probably be possible to fit everything into one episode or pay more attention to the murders.
But I liked the series anyway, because I was able to capture and make you look forward to the sequel.

What's the point? Well, I can't imagine that this picture-obsessed Phelps accidentally made a mistake, and no one suggested it.
So there is some meaning, but I can't imagine what :)
I didn't like the series at all. Perfect shots and camera angles are present, but there are significantly fewer of them than in ABC, the ending is indistinct. It is unclear why they mocked a good story.
About the series. Like other Phelps miniseries I know, it's very stylish, very accurate camera angles, attention to detail and outright disrespect for the original source when willingly using the name and title.
However, this one has a noticeably different atmosphere and mood, Hitchcockian, in my opinion. However, why imitate Hitchcock in our time, I do not understand. That one is still more stylish, authentic and not plagiarism))
, but in the end it turned out somehow short. the first episode is such a leisurely plot with an emphasis on details, macro photography, immersion in the whole atmosphere of the cult
and then herax - just in two seconds everything was laid out, and even the villain himself told everything in detail with clarifications. just lol. it was especially necessary to bring an inadequate man with a piece of iron in his hands..
in short, the best moment of the series is how Kaya Scodelario beats the one who finished her with a ham. I intend to apply this trick somehow))
Первую серию едва досмотрел, скукота-духота, со второй уже было интереснее, кроме вышеупомянутой скомканности. Но атмосфера и актерская игра очень и очень неплохи. Видимо просто "не для меня", как говорится.
Но, в общем и целом, смотрибельно, интересно и местами жутковато. Актерский состав тоже порадовал)
Главный герой умер и попал в свою версию ада?Сошел с ума и попал в свою версию ада? Его теперь травят еще и ведьмы, что его так глючит?
Мне определенно нужна пояснительная бригада! Если кто-то понял, пожалуйста, объясните.
Ну и сериал все равно понравился, я получила удовольствие просто из-за того, что смотрела на платья и костюмы тех лет.
