Very cool characters were prescribed. Not superficially-one-sided, but in such a way that it is immediately impossible to determine the attitude towards them. The dialogue in the mattress store was just amazing. People have been beating around the bush for years, endlessly blaming each other and constantly being offended. And then in a couple of minutes they talked everything they needed and made contact. They were not afraid to express their own opinions and accepted each other. So that both sides at the same time really wanted and could meet each other halfway - this is rare. It is clear that this is not real life, but a TV series. But it was very realistic and very emotional.
@Nick350: well, it's important that Mom deals with her problems and works through them too. And he wants to change. In our country, psychotherapy is still considered something terrible, for the majority, especially for older people But fortunately, this is also changing.
I don't understand why this comment has garnered so many dislikes, because it's true. I was born and raised in Belarus, and moved to America at the age of 16. Over the years, I have clearly seen the difference in the relationship between children and parents in these two countries. It's really a different mentality and if I hadn't seen it with my own eyes, I wouldn't have understood either. A very strange reaction to this comment, which is true :)
The whole series is straight for the patient. How I was triggered by the scenes with her toxic mother. Wake up my daughter with a vacuum cleaner? Yes, it's easy! Communicating with your son is not the same as communicating with your daughter? Easily. Turn all situations in your direction? Oh yeah.
It was interesting to watch Jim and Sarah. It seems to me that Jim made the right choice, after all, he already wants an ordinary family, and not to hang out at night on the fly.
I am glad that the series focuses on the fact that psychotherapy is a necessary and useful thing.
@Blomma: He didn't even give Sarah a chance. It hit him in the head, and if she didn't immediately agree to move to New Jersey, give birth and give up partying - come on, goodbye. Who needs therapy, so it's him in this case.
It seems to me just the opposite. Jim repeatedly hinted to her that he was for a serious relationship, that he wanted a child and all that, Sarah just refused and thought that it would always be as she wanted.
@Blomma: Stupid is the person who never changes his mind. Perhaps this breakup gave Sarah the opportunity to rethink her life and understand what she really needs. And Jim "and already everything and it should have been earlier and everything.."
Cool series. I was especially pleased with the end and the quote: "Love is alchemy, mystery, life force. The way a daughter feels her mother's love is always reflected in how she loves and accepts love herself."
A very good series. A lot depends on our relationship with our parents and upbringing, so in such a topic of the series it was very appropriate and, in principle, necessary:)

But most of all it was a shame for Sarah, she has changed, and he does not understand this.😔
, I roared, I learned my own psychological problem, I drew conclusions
a very vital message about the story of mom😭
