The creators need to erect a monument, manage to stretch a two-hour film for five hours (while showing practically nothing new) This is a great talent. In general, you can watch it.
@telczov: yes, maybe they banally tracked the movement of Khazin's smartphone, and then punched through the cameras with a facial recognition system. Bang, and they revealed a bunch of coincidences that wherever Khazin's smartphone was at the time, Goryunov's face was hanging out there, they suspected something was wrong and came out to a citizen. And yes, the fingers of the protagonist of the story, too. After he killed Khazin, his hands were covered in blood. While I was dumping the body into the well, I left a bunch of prints on my clothes. Well, plus, they went through the biography, there was already a criminal record, and a potential grudge of citizen Goryunov against Khazin. Voila, the police are on the trail. In short, "CSI: Lobnya Crime Scene", but all this was left behind the scenes.
The series has a different rhythm than the movie. But due to this, the same story becomes deeper and more reliable. In general, the right things are shown and the accents are placed.Petrov's role is good, and Glukhovsky is certainly well done.
...If Goryunov hadn't gone to the disco that day... ...If I hadn't started biting with the Federal Drug Control Service... ...If I hadn't started looking for Khazin after my time in prison... ...If I hadn't acted hotly... ...If he had moved away from the country... ...If he had thrown away the smartphone in time...
But if all this didn't happen, then we wouldn't have gotten the whole story.
The book was great, the movie too, the series is too stretched for me, but as an alternative to the movie - let it be, although in essence nothing new has really been shown here, and you need to either watch the series or the movie, but not one after the other.

At the end, the scene after the credits

...If I hadn't acted hotly...
