Начала смотреть вполглаза, а потом так затянуло, что стало сложно вообще оторваться.
Музыка, актеры, сюжет - прекрасно!
Актрисы играющие Бет - бесподобны!
Ну разве что воображаемые шахматы это не что-то такое чем могут заниматься только аутисты под транками - мы так в школе развлекались и кто терял нить после сорокового хода считался лохом. В общем при минимальном воображении и практике держать доску в голове несложно. Хотя опять же как визуальное решение - почему бы и нет.
А если про кино - отличное начало, прямо зацепило и до конца не отпускало, все очень хорошо. Финальная сцена с поеданием под звуки пеплума вообще огонь. Только тут сообразил, что девочку делали под Алису нарочно.

Понравилось вообще всё, игра, атмосфера, визуал, сюжет ) И очень, очень жутко смотреть на наркозависимого ребенка.
Актрису знаю по многим фильмам и сериалам, поэтому уверена в ее харизме и прекрасном вписывании в сюжет. Здорово нас ввели в детство и показали предысторию.
Конечно, понимаю, что мать умерла, дав отворот отцу, но надежда, что он ее найдет как-то остается.
Однозначно, проект удачный!

Было горько за Бет, когда она гладила вышивку на платье, а потом директриса тут же сказала ее просто сжечь. И какова же заметна смена настроений: вот в пансионат приезжает только что лишившаяся мамы девочка, кладущая на кровать мишку, а уже после первой порции витаминок перед нами - начинающий наркоман... И вот возникает вопрос с неоднозначным ответом: талантлив ребёнок или вещество?
Ещё коробка такая была, вполне подходящая)

немного комично показан союз времен Лени Брежнева ) но америкосы видимо уверенны что у нас так было )хорошо хоть медведей на улице не показали
воображаемые шахматы на потолке просто восторг, немного переживала за уборщика, что если вдруг их спалят, ему несдобровать, но слава богу все хорошо
И первая серия мне очень понравилась. Очень хорошо подобрали девушек на главные роли, взрослая Элизабет и Элизабет-ребёнок очень похожи👍🏻
Особенно удивилась когда в конце серии девочка целую горсть таблеток в рот засунула, у меня аж глаза на лоб полезли 😱
Маленькая Бет играла не против 8 старшеклассников, она вела одновременно игру сразу с 12 учащимися. И гениально утерла им нос всего-навсего за 1,30 часа.
Мне кажется, что не каждый взрослый бы так смог)

Присоединяюсь к выше отписавшимся, если по какой-то причине вы отложили просмотр, то вы очень, ОЧЕНЬ многое потеряли.
Первая серия — на одном дыхании! Чувствую, дальше будет круче.
Надеюсь,что весь сериал будет в таких тонах!
Очень понравились первая серия. Особенно момент с турниром. Атмосферно получилось.
Губы Анны Тейлор-Джой всё также хороши.
Но зато появилось желание научиться)
Единственное что - у них же там детский дом с подробным изучением правил поведения в общественных местах. Смутило то, что маленькая Бет выходила из кинозала спиной к зрителям, что как раз противоречит этикету, а она произвела впечатление беспроблемной ученицы, которая про такие вещи должна отлично знать (иначе бы её так часто не отпускали вытряхивать губки, а заставляли бы работать на уроках). Может торопилась за таблетками.
Какая замечательная связь между настоящим и прошлым главной героини, да ещё и музыка хорошо подобрана. Серия – конфетка!
Негодование вызвали работники детского дома, которые пичкали и так бедных детишек наркотиками. Не гады ли?
Единственный светлый лучик – то ли сторож, то дворник – шахматный гуру, который помог Бет раскрыть свой талант. Таким людям отдельная благодарность.

А вот трейлер посмотрела зря — насколько было бы эффектнее увидеть картинки по ходу пьесы.

I understand what you mean, but a negative opinion is the same opinion as any other.
