That moment with possessed Miles ("dealing with children"). Yeah, creepy. Intriguing. I have a theory, but I'm not quite sure what it is yet.
Dani should have been like: Yeah, we're gonna play Hide and seek! And then go straight to bed & let the kids play with the ghosts if they want it this bad. Dani is kind of... dumb, huh? Also, this Hide and seek game? Definitely reminds me of "Ready or not" (2019). That movie did its thing for me & the game in the show gave me flashbacks immediately.
I'm definitely finishing the book after the show.
There are mixed thoughts about Flora so far, and Miles scares, sometimes he becomes like a different person and not a child at all.
Plus, I wonder who the governess still sees in the reflections and what kind of story she has.

Well, apparently, this someone is moving into Miles. He just fainted and woke up looking like he didn't understand what was going on at all.
I don't know why I started watching it at night looking, but we continue!

I agree with the comment above that the series is not scary, it's more of a creep. He invokes some kind of creepy atmosphere and to a large extent it comes not from ghosts, but from these children ...
And I like that in this horror there are no ordinary hackneyed scenes that the viewer expects. Here you have to look closely and look for clues yourself. And many terrible moments are shown suddenly, when you don't expect them at all)

Naturally, I'm writing this as a half-joke, it's just a little annoying that they chose this approach to history. That is, there at the wedding (or rather dinner before the wedding or whatever it was called correctly), a couple of couples told a couple of stories in a couple of minutes, and then Carla Gugino's mouth opened and the story will be told until the wedding itself, and maybe even a piece of the honeymoon will hook, apparently)))

Мелкий пацан прям идеальный Дэмиен Торн, особенно в сценах, где он в интернате.
В часовне горят свечки, но одна из них еще совсем не выгоревшая, будто только что ее поставили. Будто Дани, которая только что приехала в особняк.
а вот Майлз.. может в него вселяется призрак? тот что отражался в окне
может я упустила что-то просто.
или это типа "все накопилось, а ещё и эти очки"?
P. S. В остальном мне все нравится)
