Discussion: Season 1, Episode 6 Join the Discussion
103And how cool the story is intertwined, although I like all the events related to the Six much more, but overall I just get an incredible thrill from each episode.
Ben Barnes - ❤️
1. "Have you found my enchantress?"
2. "I'll rest only with Alina..."
3. "Lie down closer... Hunter!"
4. "- Don't worry, I won't seduce.
Mattias's grin.
- I'll believe you."
5. Hugs of Mattias and Nina, their conversations and laughter
6. "- I like you.
"But is that a bad thing?"
And, judging by the design, the book "Shadow and Bone" was thrown at Jesper))))
Here I'm trying not to pay attention and delve better, but when I see how the heroes of the Grisha trilogy meet with the Dregs of the Six, there's just a wild dissonance in my head, Don't get me wrong, I'm getting high from a new round of both stories, and how they intertwine plot–wise, but damn, to see the handsome Kaz and Darkling in one the frame is ✨s t r a n n o, n o p r i I t n o✨
👁👄👁
God...From his "Have you found my Caster?" and "I will rest only with Alina" I am ready to melt into a puddle myself🤣🔥💕Angry husband tries to find his runaway wife, well oil painting😭😂
"Where's my enchantress?!" ,
"Titanic" on minimums. But at least the two of them got in and both survived.
This moment in the tent is simply gorgeous 😂
- Take it off, quickly!
How cool is Jesper's shooting 😍
And Kaz is a master of spectacular disappearances 😍
Sleeping in the same bed and only introducing yourself after being rescued is the best thing.
No, the best thing is to steal the Darkling's own carriage. 😂
- Darkling in anger uuuh hot
- Yes, look for Nina, look for our baby.
- on the stage with Helnik, I screamed like crazy!!!!!!!!! They just fucking went out of my head. Everything from the book, I'm crying)) I thought there would be a couple of episodes with Nina and Mathias, but it's so awesome.
Well, my beloved trinity still pleases me. The scenes where each of them dealt with "his" opponent are not only beautiful, but also shed light on the character of each to some extent - on the gentleness of Jes, on the indomitable core of Inezh and Kaz with a hundred tricks up his sleeve.
It's not that I don't like the rest, but the Six, who are still the five, audaciously and charmingly steal the series from Alina and co. (and I don't mind).
Oh, and I'm going to cry... Probably even more so than over the book
. Okay, I was already crying when they introduced themselves to each other.
Darkling is certainly cool, the case when even his whisper gives everyone goosebumps🔥
I still don't like the character of Alina, as well as the actress herself... she has no emotions on her face at all, in my opinion, in her case, a complete failure of casting
2. Mattias, you're a bit dumb. You're outraged, and you're wallowing in the ocean.
3. "She didn't get along with many people"- uh, something went unnoticed.
4. Zoya was tested and it was epic.
5. "I know 6 languages, that's my job" - Nina-5-plus
6. "Take it off, quickly" - whatever you say, my dear, I already
7. My sweet little shooter
8. DARKLING AND KAZ!!!! THIS SCENE WAS CREATED TO MAKE ME DIE FROM THE HEAT OF THESE GUYS
9. DID HE ALMOST CUT UP MY PRETTY BOY???? Kaz: I'm a trickster a trickster
10. Why does everyone see changes in Alina's appearance, but I don't?!
8. That's right, the scene is gorgeous.
10. You can't see it in the TV series, but in the books she was always sluggish, frail, and didn't eat well. The fact is that she was suppressing Grisha's power. And magic, if used, nourishes, improves, and prolongs life. This is the difference from the magic that was used for the canyon.
🔥🔥🔥
These details...🔥👌
And when the characters of Grisha and the Six are in the same frame, it's really very strange, but I almost peed myself on the stage of Darkling and Kaz, and to be honest, I didn't know who to root for.🙈
And yes, all the scenes when Jasper shoots are very spectacular. 🔥
P.S. We all know that the Darkling is still on the badboy team, but all this is "where's my enchantress" and "I'll rest when I find Alina", as well as the final scene where he understands. That Mal had finally found Alina, and they were reunited-wow, those emotions on Barnes' face. Jealousy and rage 🔥🔥🔥🔥
In general, the line of six is more exciting, each character is an accurate hit.
great chemistry, the actors just perfectly play the characters, and their dialogues - they literally talk almost with quotes from the book, in fact, I've reviewed all the moments with them several times.
”I do like you.”
“What was that?”
“I do like you,” he said angrily.
I admire Calahan's acting after this episode, when I saw Mathias' face, when he thought for a few seconds whether to throw Nina off that cliff, and how his expression changed when he finally decided to save her.
— You are horrible. You are loud. And you're lewd. And you're treacherous. How do I know you're not messing with my insides and making me feel like I like you?💔
I really liked that in this episode we saw two crossovers at once, in fact: the three ravens with Alina, as well as Kaz and Darkling (I never even dreamed of seeing them together on the screen in the same scene, even so quickly). By the way, the last scene, when the Darkling is jealous of Alina, I fall in love with Ben's acting again, once again.
— You don't need to put… Yes, David?
this moment with Darkling and David is clearly in the piggy bank of my favorites, I want more of this kind of interaction :D
Just kiss already.
*
Kaz punching people in the face with his cane? Kaz being a badass? K A Z?? I love him. Gosh, I truly wish we could have Darkling and Kaz as a couple. Two villainous soft bois kicking asses. They'd be so powerful together.
"Orphans of Keramzin. Reunited. Adorable." Darkling hates them so much. :D I'll truly still with Marina & shipping this wild ship of mine with Kaz.
*
Finally, Nina and Mathias being sweet. Haven't felt a thing about them before he said that he does like her. There are a lot of things that a general viewer doesn't feel when they didn't read the books. It's just not in the show.
*
"What are you?"
"A big softie, apparently."
Jesper is precious.
Mal steals my heart more and more (especially after I found out that Barnes is a particular villain), he's so adorable, my God, how much longer to wait for them to kiss.
And of course Nina and Mathias. They're both amazing, and I'm in love with their mate.
And the feisty Darkling is, of course, better. You can see that it's going to explode right now.
Cool scene with Ivan and Jesper. But that's why Ivan tells everyone he meets about bulletproof clothing. If everyone knows, they'll shoot you in the head. It's kind of illogical.
I love him, God.
but I literally cried over Nina and Mathias' moments... they laugh and smile, and my insides twist at the thought of what will happen to them next.
The meeting of the Darkling and Kaz Brekker - I thought the universe would collapse at this moment, ahahahah)))) this is what we secretly wanted, but were afraid to ask for) And then Kaz managed to escape in style from one of the most powerful Grisha in history, Krasava)
Stealing a Darkling's carriage is a no-brainer for our Ravens)
Darkling in a fit of anger and jealousy is hot-hot)
Scenes where Jesper shoots are a separate art form!
+ a little bit of pain :
"I was scared... I was afraid you'd let me go.
"I've been thinking about it. Just a second"
Mathias and Nina are such bunnies that they outshine everyone in this series.
The confrontation between Kaz and the Darkling was simply beautiful and frightening. I was seriously worried about Kaz, but we know that he always has an ace up his sleeve. Bravo for that scene, it was unexpected.
NINA AND MATHIAS ARE JUST KILLING ME!!! All men are the same, she said, Fjerdans are no different, she said. Yes, yes, we all know that.
At least they don't make Mala look like an idiot like in the book. There he behaved as abominably as possible after he arrived at the palace.
I just cried when Mathias saved Nina. Knowing how it's all going to end... I just can't stand it, guys.
Nina and this Fjordanian (sorry, I haven't read the dialogues yet, I'm bad with names). Nina starts to push with her assertiveness, but their lines look so harmonious)) I wonder how it will end and how they will all be united.
I like Mal in the series more and more (unlike in the book). Their intimate showdown with Alina.
I'm ready to put Ben Barnes and his voice on repeat. The scene with Zoya in the bedroom is simple. His facial expressions when he lost Alina, realized that she had betrayed him and went to look for a deer are simply gorgeous. This rage and anger, echoed by the shadows around him 🔥🔥🔥 The only thing that brought me out of this trance was the scene of Kaz and the Darkling meeting. It turned out to be such a surprise. I even feared for a second that the Darkling would cut him in two)) There was so much pain and rage in Ben's voice, to the point of goosebumps.
But Mathias' scenes!! And Nina is the best in this series.
just the one that Apratus is talking about, the one that gives hope
These guys had the nerve to steal the general's own carriage.
I liked Ben the most in this episode. They gave him a little free rein and he showed that he could be relentless in anger, or he would still be.
Nina and Mathias are just the decoration of this series. I need more of them.
Nina is just my idol in the series! Oh, what a woman! And what an amazing way for an actress to get into character.
It's very interesting how their story will be shown next, will there be any surprises waiting for us, or will it be just as close to the canon?
Oh, that darkening look from Ben Barnes at the end of the episode! Goosebumps...
Even though he is a villain, I continue to ship him with gg
Finally, by episode 6, I really liked the Little one) It's much better than the book one, it infuriated all 3 books)
Kaz left the Darkling, eeeee)))
Alina is tin, of course, especially when Mal said that she now looks like a healthy person, yes, she looked like that from the first episode, this is not a book (although it was unclear how she was so sickly in the army).
The scene with her and Mathias is just a balm for my soul, my favorite couple.
But Nina and Mathias reminded not only of a scene from Titanic, but also of Jon Snow and Ygritte.
The characters are sooo cloying and sooo mawkish, the actors are playing full force. The only one who's nice to look at is the guy with the cane.
This canyon doesn't seem to encircle the earth, so you can bypass it. You can also build a tunnel, or travel INSIDE the transport. That's crazy.
In the first episodes, I just accepted that nothing was clear and stupidly went to look for answers in the comments.
2 episodes before the finale, and the cat didn't cry enough events.
I can't figure it out....this is such a weak primary source, or the creators of the series did such a lousy job.
Of course, we'll watch the season with my wife until the end, but we already have little faith that something will improve for the better over the remaining 2 episodes of the series. Of course, I expected something more interesting, but it seems that the original source is intellectually at the Twilight level, and therefore this is the result.
I couldn't learn a bunch of heroes with Slavic names.
It wasn't my imagination, was it?!
Kaz is this some kind of new crash?
The incredible cast!!!
And the way they filmed the moment of Mathias and Nina clearly from the book is just ecstasy😍
And by the way, I noticed that everyone praises the characters in the reviews, but few people remember the main characters Alina and Mala. It's just like in the books, they're both not heroes, they're ordinary people, they're not interesting characters at all.
He was heavily whitewashed in the series - no girls or entertainment, only flirted with Zoya once. Therefore, Alina's claims and jealousy look strange, and we can only wonder if his adventures are behind the scenes, or is he really such a loyal, sincere guy?
I like Archie Reno, he's perfect for this role.
The same cannot be said about the Darkling.... With all my love and respect... Barnes is overplaying so much that blood is coming out of his eyes.
I wish there were more Sixes. Nina is great.
Well, what kind of paws
