The last frame of the series killed on the spot. Although different options are possible, it turned out to be psychologically devastating. Respect to the director.
I've been intrigued since the first episode. I am sure that this is not a Donsik (the last fragment may have been presented by a new inspector). As it is, it seems to me that it is possible that the person from the archive is involved in the murders
these emotions after he saw her fingers... I thought he was filled with rage and a desire for revenge, but no (( THE MOST unexpected ending, if it's still Don Sik, then I'm very robbed of him as a character 😑😒
@daizydaria: I also racked my head, but in the end I realized that we were shown the version that the new inspector imagined, as they wrote in the comment above.
A very powerful ending. But I'm sticking to the theory that it's not Dong Sik. And the killer has definitely already been shown to us. It must be one of the police officers, because 1) Kang Min Jung exclaimed when she saw the killer, therefore she knew him and 2) Lee Geum Hwa (who was probably an illegal immigrant) pointed out to Han Joo Won someone in the photo, and in the photo there are just policemen drinking + it's the same or another photo with police officers is shown to us in the promo for the next episode. By the way, Park Jong-jae is visible on it. The chief archivist is very suspicious. The fact that he tried to spend the night at Dong Sik's house can, of course, be attributed to the desire to go down to the basement and look at the notes about Yu Yong's disappearance or find out whether Dong Sik stole documents from the Ban Joo Song case or not. He is also suspicious because of his conversation with his mother, Do Hae Won. I keep thinking, how did Don Sica's mediator end up at the crime scene 20 years ago? It's clear that he was planted, but who? Maybe Ban Joo Song was dating (You remember those 2 tickets that she was twirling in her hands in front of Dong Sik) with Park Jung Jae (and he's a murderer? although he is probably younger, although it is difficult to understand the age of the characters from the Korean actors)??? Or maybe a mediator was planted by one of the policemen just to accuse someone and quickly close the case? Actually, either Shin Ha Kyung plays so well, or it seemed to me that Dong Sik, when he came to Jae Yi's diner, already knew that Min Jung was dead. If Min Jung didn't hang up the phone when she was talking to Dong Sik, maybe he heard her exclamation and realized that it was someone he knew + when there was a minute of silence in memory of Lee Geum Hwa, he stood with such a face as if he was commemorating Min Jung. Although later, when he recognized her severed fingers, the reaction was as if he did not know that she had been killed. There is also, of course, a theory that a copycat is operating. Although, of course, if we assume that Don Sik really has a split personality, and the 2nd personality is the killer, and after switching the "good" Don Sik remembers nothing and tries to catch himself, or vice versa remembers and covers his tracks. But that would be too boring. The 2nd series, and there are already so many theories. Well, let's look further.
The series finale was even more confusing😱😅 Min John is a stupid girl, she doesn't know that it's dangerous to walk at night. But her reaction clearly indicates that she knew the killer by sight 🤔🤔🤔 And I also don't believe that Dong Sik is a murderer)
I also don't think that Don Sik is a murderer, as it would not be interesting to know that he is already in the second series. But the ending certainly surprised me. And yes, that dude from the archive is suspicious.
how difficult everything is ... by the way, Lee dohyun is somewhat similar to the actor playing Lee dongshik in our time, for the first time in the drama they picked up normally :)
I don't know, I really don't believe that it was donshik or I just don't want to believe it by the way, this oh jihoon is a very pleasant character, so different from the role of this actor in extracurricular
the first episode didn't really convince me, but the second one is just fire, no violent intrigue, everything is as calm as possible, but how interesting)))
I didn't understand anything, but it's very interesting. And the man from the archive is very suspicious, yes. therefore, maybe it's not him after all.
The last scene is complete bullshit, someone's imagination, anyway. I don't think Dong Sik is the killer.
And as Dong Sik looked around the table at everyone, I also think that someone from those who were there. Maybe the guy from the archive. It is unlikely that this is a murderer who killed 20 years ago. Most likely a copycat. And how can an archivist not know the whole story about the murders? But I also think it's unlikely that it's him 🤷🏻♀️😁
Oh. I just caught some kind of deja vu. The series is very similar to "Mouse" and some lines are similar, in which nothing is clear either, but it is terribly interesting and with each episode it sucks in more and more, so much so that the brain explodes. I hope this one doesn't disappoint either.
@vikapeters: I'll tell you more: this often happens when dramas with the same genres are released in parallel with each other. And who was the first to watch "Mouse", liked the "Mouse" more, and who was the first to watch "Monster", the "Monster" came in more. xD
а может - это вообще Батя ее, который "немного прикидывается".
а еще девушка работающая в мясной лавке, со своим тесаком и реакцией, которую нам показали.
в общем все подозреваемые, смотрим дальше :))))
I love these puzzles.

I wonder who it is!)
