I keep being amazed at how many functions an American nurse can perform and how much she is authorized to do, unlike our nurses and even paramedics. She can manage pregnancy and childbirth, make prescriptions and issue prescriptions on her own, and even do an ultrasound(!) - Not every doctor can and has the right to do ultrasound, not to mention the average doctor.staff
@new_sha2015: You are confusing different concepts: nurse and nurse practitioner. The series specifically focused on the difference between these terms in previous seasons. A nurse, as in the rest of the world, does not have the right to perform the functions that you have described. A nurse practitioner, which Mel is, is a higher-class medical professional who has received additional education, with the right to practice independently.
I don't like at all that Mel and Jack are starting to play this terrible game again..."I love you, I won't be with you...But no, I will! Ah...still, no, I won't"...=.=
Funerals in TV series are always difficult to watch. But then they remember Lily so warmly. I wish we had this at our farewell ceremonies, and not just everything as per tradition...
What a load of crap. I'm sorry, of course, but damn, how does such a light, unobtrusive and enjoyable series abruptly become one of the most dramatic and sad in the universe? And most importantly, why? As much as I enjoyed the first two seasons, it has become so unpleasant for me to watch it now. It's a pity, he was so soothing.
I don't keep track of which of the actors agreed to continue playing in the series, but if the actress who plays Hope just decided to leave, and Doc's heart breaks because of it, it's very annoying. Damn, where else could she be needed so urgently... there was supposed to be a wedding and everything was supposed to be fine.
And apart from the Doc and Hope line, it's a very sad episode, it's a pity for Lily and her daughter.
