The egos of doctors who do not consider their colleagues are equal to murderers.

Yes, the story is tinny, of course, but Sybil's therapy took 11 damn years!!!! And no media or the rest of the public, therapist and patient. I don't think what they did to him was good for him, these doctors thought more about their fame and no one really dealt with him. Yes, he was definitely ill, he was inadequate in his actions from the very beginning. And yes, he needed to be treated, not popularized. Besides, unlike him, Sybil did not commit lawful actions with intent, as in his case -"I went outside to get money" and rape a couple of girls for one thing. Pity is not a reason to let such people go free. He was smart enough to ask for help during the investigation)) I'm not arguing, I'm just stating the facts.

After reading the book, I got the impression of a lost person who needed help, who never lied (except for some undesirable personalities), repented, adhered to a certain celibacy (again, not counting some personalities), and so on. It turns out that he is not such a saint, judging by the words of people who have met him in life. I don't want to ruin the image, to be honest.

It seemed to me that he stopped being a "sweetheart" when his personalities united and they started to take him to crazy hospitals. And there the prescribed treatment was violated, the harsh content of which beat his condition for the worse. The fact that they "stabilized" him, they had to continue his treatment in order to properly consolidate the effect. And so the strife began both in life and in my head, and then it turned out that he was torn off. In the same place, someone said that personalities do not disappear, they merge, somehow allow themselves to manifest themselves through temperament. That is, an adjustment was needed. And she wasn't (And it could have been better
