Discussion: Season 1, Episode 10 Join the Discussion
216We are all Tim Kono.
I didn't understand the last twist. Bonnie snuck into Mabel's apartment to what? Dressed in the hoodie of a podcast whose authors she despises? And what kind of loose ends did Mabel talk about on the roof?
she didn't understand it herself, like, some kind of bad feeling that they forgot about something
"Bonnie snuck into Mabel's apartment to what? Dressed in the hoodie of a podcast whose authors she despises?"
well, this is such an amazing hook that they hook us to watch the second season) It was not inserted in order to explain it easily at once. Cliffhanger Laws
The only thing that caused a slight dissonance was Oscar, too cute for a man who had served a 10-year sentence and had recently been released.
And more. Now the episode with her looks different, where she talks about mistakes and second chances. At the end, she talks about our Brothers, and it turns out that this podcast is already about their mistake and their case - the murdered Bonnie, whom the three of them "hated fiercely" because she wanted to expel them. That's probably how they'll present it.
You can listen to a good discussion on the podcast "In previous episodes" if you're interested)
A great trio of main characters. A very pleasant series turned out.
And they have a great screensaver.
And Amy Ryan is just great in this episode, such a crazy maniac)
I'm waiting for season 2 and I hope it will be as good as season 1, with humor, detective and excellent actors.
The finale is very strong, Mabel is in the blood - one of the first shots that were available online even before the release of the first season, who would have thought that this was actually a promo for the 2nd season.
The series is very fresh for the crime genre, it's so atypical that it looked in one go.
Excellent timing of the series, 35-40 minutes, without stretching the rubber.
Some special atmosphere of humor, amazing cast.
Everything is perfect in it.
Now we're looking forward to the second season.
All the evidence pointed to Jen, but there was only one thing against it - well, they couldn't leave Brazzos alone again when he'd been alone for so many years and had just found the one))
But if not, they can. And he's not alone anymore, that's the main thing.
The series was renewed only in the process of being released, and naively I thought that the first scene of the first episode could in no way be unrelated to the current story, but could be an application for a second season, it might not be - or maybe. I wonder if they actually extended it in the process, or if it was for this feint that they held the ad with their ears. If the former is the case, well, it's a risky game.
Anyway, I really enjoyed it and I'm looking forward to the second season.
I think the threatening notes were written by the same person who sent the message to the grandfathers to get out of Arkonia.
It's a great series, and I'm already looking forward to the second season.
However, it seemed to me that the figure of the victim in the first episode was somewhat thinner than in the last, but I may be mistaken.
Brazzos and his speech for Jen are the expectation-reality -top. :)))
There is a slight feeling of understatement, but that's what the second season is for. :)
We are all Tim Kono.
The same trick was a few years ago in the TV series Olga. There, the stoned dad also pushed a fiery speech, but in fact drooled and mumbled.
In general, the series is still not bad, good, pleasant, funny, the actors are excellent, the seed for the second season is also good, but is it needed at all?
The connection between Jen and Tim seemed vague and strained. Okay, she's a maniac, but why would he?
The final scene is murky, though, and cliffs usually are.
But they prescribed it well. The dialogues are funny, the series is light, pleasant and atypical. I'm still waiting for the second season. I really liked this trio.
Well, we are waiting for the second season.
I'm waiting for the second season))
but the atmosphere of the series, their relationship, humor (especially in terms of banter over millennials) and all sorts of grotesque pantomime moments in the style of the Pink Panther have sunk into my soul, so I'm looking forward to continuing))
P/S: when the new kitty was shown, I was afraid that she would lick Charles's face and also get poisoned like the previous one. Phew - everything worked out)))
the choice of an actress for the role of a policeman more than covers the modern requirements for tolerance. But her role in the investigation is so insignificant that it all looks like subtle banter.: of course, we will take into account the racial, body-positive and other diversity in the caste, but against the background of the brilliant acting of the main characters, you will not even remember these characters.
I'm really looking forward to the second season!
But it turns out that in the end, someone wanted to frame Mabel by calling the police? After all, Charles and Oliver received a message from an unknown number telling them to leave the building immediately, and they just followed Mabel and got caught too. It's not very clear yet how Bunny's manager is involved, but I hope the second season will be just as great.
Was someone able to replace something like that?)
And Charles's speech in his head in the basement came out very well, at first I even believed that "Running a lot" helped him :D
I laughed so hard at the poisoned Charles , as he rode with his feet in the elevator to the top .
I'm waiting for the second season
"Bassoon in my mouth!" :D
We have already written above that it is hard to believe in the connection between Tim and Jen, well, let's say. Her maniacality is also OK, it seemed strange from the very beginning) but poisoning the whole house is too much. Well, sometimes she writes threatening notes and poisons dogs, then she rubs into their company and turns the tables, then she keeps a knife as evidence - a subconscious desire to be caught? - in general, an incomprehensible character.
The question with the wedding ring remains - is it just another piece of jewelry from the Dimas collection?
Well, Cliff is also strange at the end: why would Bunny come and attack Mabel.
The rest of the episodes were good. It's a beautiful picture, funny little Persians like their fans. Martin Short - the foundation and soul of the whole series)
I liked that, in fact, his girlfriend turned out to be guilty, and the circle closed - from where everything got muddied, it played out.
- I'm turning on Sting's "Fields of Gold".
That's how you want an artificial intelligence to call an ambulance for you...
An amazing series! funny, easy, but interesting, you can't watch it in parallel with the cases, especially on the series about the deaf-mute guy :)
The ending itself is extremely confusing, there is no lead-up to the first scene of the season, where Selena is sitting in the blood. It looks like someone just inserted a piece of cut-out material. He doesn't fit in with the whole series that much. Again, the capture group is Berebor. It's a shocking ending, but it doesn't cause any intrigue. I can't say that the series is bad or that it was leaked, but overall it was a pleasure to watch. Especially before the events in the morgue and the abduction of their mute son) It's really a real move, and a terribly long tedious last episode with a banal ending. Eh....
Now I'm looking forward to the sequel.
Undoubtedly stands out among the detective
stories, I'm really looking forward to the sequel)
Unexpected twists and a completely unexpected ending!
I hope the sequel will not keep you waiting.
The series is gorgeous, I want to watch it without stopping!!!!☺️
A great tie for the second season)
I've been waiting for this information all series))
Like, never mind the killer, can you tell me how successful the podcast has become?
And they didn't forget about Sting.
About the backlog for season 2: Damn, Bonnie in a hoodie (!) at Mabel's apartment. Well Kammon😶 And the podcast will be hosted by Cinda, who doesn't understand how she got there at all. If all 10 episodes justify them, with Cindy's comments from all the cracks, then the season promises to be infuriating.😬
I am very afraid that having noticed such success, they can spoil such a delicate aesthetic with unnecessary and unnecessary🙈
First of all, Jen turned on the recording of the bassoon playing at the time of the murder to provide an alibi and at the same time turned on the alarm for what? So that the evacuees could hear her playing despite the siren?
Secondly, how did it happen that Jen was dating Tim, but she wasn't even aware that he was collecting jewelry? Tim, on the other hand, received many parcels and publicly complained when there were problems with delivery - they even wrote complaints about him. And suddenly, because of one of the packages, Jen blows her mind, and she thinks out a murder plan in a couple of days? And in the end, the whole house decides to blow up??
Thirdly, the pianos: here and "the toxicology report did not arrive," and "the victim's phone was not sent to the technical department," and they cannot distinguish an elementary murder from suicide (Jen shot Tim when he was already dead, and this means that there should have been much less blood than in suicide, because the heart is no longer beating and the blood is not pumping, and all this against the background of complete paralysis).
And in the trash bag that Tim took out, there were suicide notes written in different ways (I thought they would pay attention to this later, but no, they were tritely ignored), and a lot of letters addressed to him - in fact, they identified the owner, but in the penultimate episode it turns out that it wasn't his garbage at all..
And, of course, the stupidest piano in the form of Pataki, who in five seconds told the motive and directed the series to the right place.
They started well, but ended up messy and stupid, leaving with a sense of disappointment.
1 - this was BEFORE the alarm, during the alarm she did not turn on the recording and everyone left the building. the alarm is so that the shot is not heard. She poisoned him and sent him to her place. he rode the elevator with GG. she turned on the recording at that time - Martin came home and heard her "playing", he had a remote control in his hands, he was preparing to turn on the podcast, which was interrupted by the alarm - she was already preparing for murder at that moment, walking down the corridor, as she turned on the alarm right next to the apartment
2 - she slept with him because "two lonelies came together," it is unlikely that it was a touching, trusting relationship where he told her everything. her mind was blown not because of the package, but because he had abandoned her 2 days before the events, and she thought it was because of another one - then she saw the ring and was convinced of this assumption. she later admitted in her speech that she was mistaken about this. It's just that she's a sociopath who, in her opinion, has been exchanged for someone else - just like at work. They didn't write complaints about him because he was talking loudly on the phone.
3 - ce la vie, this is a frequent topic and probably a plausible one - if something looks and smells like suicide, then the department doesn't need an extra limp. It's not the first or the hundredth time it's slipped into any kind of work to surprise someone else, it's not a piano in the bushes. He was still alive, or rather just dead, but he was twitching there - the blood hadn't had time to clot, so there was enough of it.
4 - only GG knew about the garbage bag. these are notes, rather, Jen was figuring out what to write, drafts, here they are in her trash. there is nothing about letters in the trash in the series, they read his letters and bills from a stack on the mantelpiece, not from a bag.
5 - about Pathaka tru, I didn't like it either. The character is purely for personal development, meh - but the concept of the series is not in a purely detective line, that's why they find all the hiding places so easily.
, it's not important to me, it's just that many of the inconsistencies you mentioned are not completely inconsistencies, but I have a thing for unlit questions, I'm a little stuffy by nature.
It's nice to know that Chuika doesn't let you down. Of course you should listen to her.
The series is good, you can review it, savor it now.
Anyway, I'm waiting for the second season.
It's a very pleasant visual and the cast is so suitable that it turned out to be a winning combination.
And the most interesting thing at the end of the episode is who sent them this "get down" message, and why did he send it at all
The moment when Charles got up from the wheelchair and started making a speech, I laughed out loud.
Personally, I liked everything, from beginning to end, not the slightest questions, no quibbles, I'm going to turn on the second season :D
I don't care, once again, about Gomez herself, like all the actors in the series (I still remember Steve Martin, his role in the Pink Panther - "I want to buy a hamburger" =)
Jen really seemed suspicious at first, but I still enjoyed her interaction with Charles. I didn't expect it to be so extra.
It's a good positive detective-style series, it's great to relax for the evening, I liked the ending.
The actors are pleasant, it's easy to watch, I didn't expect anything from this series and it pleased me.
I'll be watching season 2.
Brazos' heroic speech is certainly something. She laughed heartily.
I will definitely watch the second season.
I looked at it enthusiastically, very much in the spirit of "It's written murder." I have no complaints about the detective component, because it seems immediately clear that this is a comedy with a detective entourage, and not a series with an emphasis on the course of a difficult investigation.
– A wonderful couple XD
When Charles rolled to the elevator, this is the best moment of the series, or even the whole season. Okay, the best face is that of the woman who came in, looked and came out.
"Shut up!"
Classic New Yorkers: just think about a dude lying on the elevator floor, we're going to discuss cockatiels and the price of parsley in February.
How they put him in the stroller, and Brazzos' blissful face, the episode is one continuous meme.
La, and Jen is even more of a psychopath than I thought. She seemed a little strange to me right away, with her cold, unblinking gaze and smile, but she was that much. I've run into some enthusiasts, darling, there's nothing I can do.
My son took a step to meet his father, touched by their hugs with Oliver.
– Are you suggesting that I become your friend?
– Friend? Are we fourteen?
The podcaster is a bitch who bullies her co-workers and steals. I didn't like it right away. And it's really unclear who whispered to her that a murderous festival was going on in Arkonia again, she rushed there from almost the entire studio.
The investigation has taken an unexpected turn, and the pigeons never dreamed of such a 360. Who framed the guys like that and blamed Bunny's death on them? The second season promises to be even more fiery.
I am absolutely in love with this story, and with every detail of it, I really feel like I'm sitting on the terrace under a blanket, drinking poop, as in all the stereotypical strips about the autumn of an introvert. The colors in the decor, the clothes of the characters, the construction of each episode thought out to the smallest detail, the deep psychology and acute social problems of the deaf and dumb, newcomers, retired stars, the poor who do not shove under their noses. And everything is so organically molded and packed into a perfect half-hour timekeeping, neither subtract nor add. At the same time, it is the purest, purest comedy detective, which I have adored since childhood, where everything is elevated to the absolute and passed through the prism of irony. I really want to believe that they won't let me down any further.
Oh, what happened to the old pepper shaker... Everything turned against them in the end.
The cast is gold, in particular, my favorite, Selena Gomez. I love you, baby.
We continue to watch…
When the meeting with the famous podcaster was shown in the first half of the show, I thought, well, why did they tell her all the details about the murder? Although they are still green novices, they will move in the same circle, and competition is such a thing. Here you are, they gave her a good idea for the next podcast for free, and now she will collect ratings at their expense)
In general, the series is a pleasure to watch. Very well shot, gorgeous warm atmosphere and chemistry of the main trio. The gloomy Selena perfectly sets off the comedy of Martin and Martin))
I really liked the spirit, it's so old-school, but considering that the action takes place in the 21st century. I hope the second season doesn 't disappoint 🤞
Oh, and last but not least, what a gorgeous setting. What huge, but at the same time cozy apartments, it's probably great to live in such a beautiful place.
I won't say that I really liked the series, but there is something.
I noticed a pattern a long time ago - if the main actors are simultaneously producers of the series, then the chances that the series will be good and there will be a minimum of nonsense in it immediately increase.
I really liked the first season))) I watched it with pleasure)))
And this assistant to the host of a big podcast will not kill the boss, by any chance? Is it like this at 4? xD
For beginners in detective work, this trio is just incredibly lucky! Good season 1, I really liked everything.
(Why did I read the comments? The joy immediately diminished! MABEL IS AMAZING, GO THROUGH THE WOODS!)
I will definitely watch the following seasons
Filming, scenery, music, actors, plot, script
Beauty 🔥
And the series finale is just 😳🤯
The ring Tim was looking for remained in Mabel's possession after Jen's arrest, meaning it is not of interest to anyone.
Somehow they didn't say anything about Oscar's trip to the lawyer, I wonder what they decided there.
Bunny is a pity, such a colorful aunt, a real steward. I think there will be more flashbacks with her next season.
I really enjoyed the season.
I'm absolutely thrilled! I'm so glad I decided to watch something new, because I usually watch the same thing two hundred times. And then the choice fell on this series. Light, funny, beautiful picture, cool plot
It's funny that somewhere in the middle of the series I thought about Charles's girlfriend, maybe she's a murderer, it would be strange, and so in the end everything changed.
The application for the second season is top. I'm glad it wasn't Oscar who was killed. But I also feel sorry for the manager, Madame was colorful.
