No, well, after this series, it is clearly visible how much the series has sunk in quality. If before that I had hopes that it would accelerate by the middle, and by the finale of season 2 it would return to its previous level, now it is clear that nothing good should be expected. A circus with horses began (and literally), the main character became a dull, uncultured fool, although this did not manifest itself behind him before. The creators apparently decided to unscrew all his shortcomings to the maximum, let him mess up every episode, and then mess up even more.
With his son, the situation is even worse, the character himself has become a "redneck", why it was necessary to do so is clear only to the creators. It comes to the ridiculous, for 5 episodes, father and son never discussed anything, did not help each other. I'm not even sure that they talked to each other for more than 5 minutes for all the released episodes.
We have already realized that his mother-in-law does not like his son-in-law, why try to say some barbs in his direction every 20 seconds while she is on the screen?
The funniest thing for me personally in this series was that the situation with the horse did not lead to anything at all, except that Shmelev was seen in the bushes. That is, absolutely nothing but an unfunny gag?
@Bergium: I also don't understand what it was about. Who came up with the idea that a man sitting in the bushes in front of children is something funny? I don't want to believe that it was done by the same people who filmed the first season.
There is no parent-child interaction, which was very pleasing in the first season. Previously, it really was a series about rodkom, now it's just a name. Where did the girls from the rodkom go? They are shown for a couple of minutes just for show. Now it's a series about Shmelev's showdown with his not-yet-even-mother-in-law. Moreover, the old lines are broken and forgotten. I was waiting for the season to find out what would happen to Vanya, because his legal guardian is his mother, how the custody trial over Kristina would end, how Dasha's relationship with Mark would develop. And the creators decided to score on it and give out a conflict sucked out of their fingers.
In general, a complete disappointment. It's a pity, there was one of the best Russian TV series in recent times
A complete disappointment. For a long time I could not gather the courage to return to watching after the fourth series. She's back. As a result, I mastered this series only in 2 passes, so everything is stupid and does not go into any comparison with the first season. The topic with a non-mother-in-law, who almost constantly talks about her potential son-in-law when appearing in the frame, was pretty tired.
The moment with the horse is not clear what it was for. For the sake of Shmelev sitting practically on the path? And why is he being made so hopelessly stupid this season? Although it seems that all the characters of the series who are more or less often in the frame are gradually ceasing to use the brain.
I agree with MilkyPie, I absolutely do not want to believe that this season and the first one were made by the same people.
PS Why does Lida, who flew so enchantingly from the chair, walk with a barely limp, as if she was just walking, tripped and fell, and did not fly as if she had been catapulted?
