I love how this series combines comedy with drama. Here we have a big family scene at the table, a sentimental Zelda, a capricious Susie, Midge teaches her parents to play rock-paper-scissors, Rose's pimping business. And then Susie's speech at Jackie's wake, which is not even his wake, about how one box of useless garbage remains from a person's life ... but even Jackie's death brings a bit of black humor.
- A gentleman passed away in her apartment and she can't go back. - Oh. Is he blocking the door, or...?
And at the end there is also a gorgeous scene at a bar mitzvah and a spectacular exit of Abe the scorpion. It's really a bit of a pity that this time he was without a raincoat.
@Nog: It turned out that the farewell ceremony with Jackie is also a kind of farewell to actor Brian Tarantina, who played his role. The actor died in 2019, having managed to star in the third season.
the episode lasted an hour, but it's still not enough for me)) It was good to see Lenny! And a very cool experience with the "eraser" turned out) I wonder how Midge will be able to fill this whole hall with an audience (and I'm sure it will definitely be so)
Their family scenes, what's on the carousel, what's at the table now, it's just space. Topics change at such a speed and cross-communication is straight chic, I get high from this.
Lenny! I am very glad to see him. How cool they look with Midge in the frame. What chemistry there is between them. If not in this series, then in some other they should definitely play a couple.
@vasilisa_smith: Lenny Bruce existed in real life, it's harder for him to come up with a romantic relationship. He was originally conceived as a "fairy godmother" for Midge. The directors and the performer of the role of Midge against peering. And the real Lenny Bruce died early, so even if he and Midge get together, it won't be for long
Gods, I burst into tears at Susie's farewell speech. It's just a gap. And as a dedication to the actor who played Jackie, Brian Tarantina - it was wonderful. Susie is great.
Lenny is in great shape again, sparks are flying from him and Midge in the frame)
The devastating article about the musical had an effect, to put it mildly. I'm thrilled.
I love this series for how well the characters are written, how different and charismatic they are. And how damn cool it is to combine humor and drama. Today, this series has become a kind of outlet for me) p.s. I really missed this couple :)
The series is great. A touching farewell to the deceased actor, sad, but at the same time sparkling funny. Takes for the soul. Lenny's appearance is impressive, smiling throughout the scene with him. Is it just me, or has the chemistry between him and Midge gotten even stronger? In any case, I really enjoyed their interaction. And what a scene in the church, it's just incredible. And Abe is downright revolutionary) With Mr. "Phoebe" laughed. An hour flew by completely unnoticed.
How amazing Abe is sometimes. He seems to be a scientist, but sometimes he will throw out such crap, as if he sold a little brains for a doctorate degree
People are kind. Those who watch with voice acting. Can you advise me in which voice acting is good? I'm watching in the original, but I want to show my loved ones, and they won't pull subs. In which voice acting jokes, mentality and language idioms are well conveyed?
Yes, Susie's speech could not leave anyone indifferent.. it was super strong. and to see her in such a state - vulnerable, lost - is also wildly unusual, but that's why it's cool. Lenny ♥ his every appearance in the series is just a balm for the soul. It seems to me that this is the juice itself - it is not a constantly flashing face, but a rare cherry on the cake , a wonderful series came out, in all respects
If I'm not mistaken, Jackie had a wife in the first or second season, they worked together in a bar. I remember well how they argued about chairs and wanted to get divorced. And then they seemed to forget about her
but even Jackie's death brings a bit of black humor.

a great series in the spirit of previous seasons! what a sight!
And as a dedication to the actor who played Jackie, Brian Tarantina - it was wonderful.

What year do they have there now? 1960?
these two still have a little time to please us with joint scenes.
In 1966, Lenny Bruce would die...
- Did he block the passage?
🤣🤣🤣
As we wrote earlier, an amazing combination of drama and humor. Black humor is also humor.
Zelda and Susie's relationship is something)
Abe is always getting into something because of his tongue.
Susie's speech is very strong.
In which voice acting jokes, mentality and language idioms are well conveyed?
