In my opinion, the series in which something very significant happens historically are the most interesting. It is curious how ordinary people reacted, how a historical event immediately affected the lives of ordinary people (for example, riots, inability to get somewhere on time, etc.)

To be fair, those present at the award ceremony are white, chosen by fate, for the first season they were Republicans, but "sympathetic", because modern ideology would not allow complete rejection in the main characters. Their emotions of empathy for the tragedy, which were invested by the creators of the series, I consider ridiculous.

I totally agree. I was even surprised how such an immoral Pete walked over Crane - it's funny

Indeed, the series with historical events succeed with a bang. Here, too, this feeling of a collapsing world is simply stunningly conveyed. And I disagree with the above comments that the emotions of the characters are ridiculous. As for me, this shows their great depth and could well be valid. The same Pete empathizes not so much with the murdered King specifically, but sees in this the destruction of the familiar world, calm and quiet, sees the death of a great man, a living man, and the reflection of this on the world around. No matter how much everyone around them changes, including him, but the family as such always remains something important in their minds. According to my recollections, he always reacted this way to the deaths of great people who changed America. But yes, it's ironic that he, as the most important business school, criticizes Crane's business.
And once again I am convinced of how multi-layered Draper's character is. There is an impossibly huge amount of pain and sadness in it, such that there is enough for all the heroes around in general.

With each passing season, Harry Crane's character becomes more and more obscene
