Is it just me, or by the end of the season, last year's under-scriptwriters have regained their place in the sun? The season doesn't have any large-scale arc, except for the languid looks of Higgins and Magnum (the latter generally has this sigh and squinted look - go to facial expression for all emotions, it feels like Hernandez himself has already stopped trying to portray anything). It seems that by forcing Miggy at the beginning of the season, the scriptwriters cornered themselves so much that they already began to separate them according to the plot for different cases so that they would not overlap in the series. The others, too, seemed to cheerfully start prescribing something relatively meaningful to Rika Ichishi, and again they began to fall out of the overall picture.
And I really liked the series. It brought tears to my eyes both at the beginning and at the end. It's great that they remembered Nuzzo, and that's how they brought everyone together. And the funeral scene of the old man from the last episode was touching.
And I really missed Thomas and Higgy's powerful fights. We had a great time on the yacht.
Magnum shouldn't have said anything to Gordy at first. I think Gordon was really hurt by that. By the way, he drove up to the crime scene smartly on a motorcycle. Not a bad bike, Detective. A midlife crisis? - I bought it at 29. - It's early for you 😄 After all, Magnum is already actively pushing for the idea of recognizing Higgy. The whole episode showed that everyone in their group has someone or something. Rick is going to have a baby, Tisi wants to adopt a kid and is dating a fireman, Kumu has her center, Shammy is engaged in flights. And the speech of the brother of a deceased veteran about the need to value time and conversation with an imaginary Newso.
But I was right when I wrote in the last episode that the girl's father had a crush on Higgy. ☺ If Magnum doesn't hurry up, he might miss her again.
I like the topic of illegal immigrants. Its ambiguity. On the one hand, those who bring illegal immigrants are not doing it for the sake of people. It's for the money. The migrants travel in terrible conditions, give away a lot of money, and upon arrival, they often end up in slavery, if they even get to the place. Units can then live a normal life. But on the other hand, since all these people are taking such a risk, is the place they are trying to escape even worse? And these scoundrels are their only chance. Almost like saviors.
As for our couple... Even I don't like these nudges from all sides... Higgy and Magnum had a great bromance, and I wish that if it turns into a romance, there would be a transition... normal. To keep them as partners and friends. And these oohs, sighs and pressure, they say, hurry up - they spoil everything. The feeling that the guys' feelings are real is lost. It's like a mom who periodically nags your brain: look at the guy, he has an apartment/car/job, grab it faster before anyone takes it away. Just brrrr
