The young actress doesn't look like Toni Colette at all. It's unclear if it was really impossible to find someone more suitable, so that you don't have to remind yourself every time that the story is about the same person.

Someone explain what's going on in the series. Episode 5 and I don't understand anything.

A mother at her daughter's age is the same as her daughter - they are incredibly stupid. It looks like this is a season about two generations of stupid women)

Nick is just Keanu Reeves on minimals, and young Jane is just a child, scared eyes, but a beautiful truth and they don't look like actresses at all.

I can also understand Andy's stupid impulsive actions (although no, I could have been a little more careful), but the marshal is so stupid. 🥲
