and as a result, the woman who sews has achieved more than he himself ... a very beautiful series, it will seem to many that it is overdeveloped, but this is what was needed for this era - solid maximalism, costumes and makeup are just chic.
@CALIGULA: But we must pay tribute to him, he managed to assemble and motivate several young fuckers to give birth to a cult band that recorded only one album, but influenced many musicians up to the present day!
Danny Boyle is a beauty! It was beautifully shot. He knows how, he can. The cast is perfect. The epoch is served perfectly. Well, just 10 out of 10. I myself am not a fan of Sex Pistols specifically, because it is the same commercial project as all kinds of boy bands and lived just as short and their album is just normal. But! There is a but. The experiment is more interesting than typical boy bands. The story is vivid enough for film adaptations. Oh, if Danny had done the same thing about the Iron Maiden band, that would have been cool!!!
@Ell: This is not the first work on the Sex Pistols theme. Very high-quality work, excellent cast. I'm wondering when they'll take on the Nirvana theme - the drama could turn out to be colossal. MB. are Kurt's relatives afraid of a ban?
@Ell: The album "well, just normal"?! No, well, this is, of course, a taste, but I don't remember many albums that I want to listen to and listen to from cover to cover, every track - this album is just like that. Out of interest, I Googled "greatest punk albums of all time", looked at the first three links and found it in first, second and third place.
Yes, Danny took off the candy, I got high) Damn, well, what a stylish series, all those clothes, hairstyles, the atmosphere of those years- wow! The actors played divinely, they fit into the roles perfectly) While watching the series, I became interested in the history of this group and its members, and that's exactly how I want to see adaptations of iconic personalities, so that I can live in one breath and then regret that I've already watched everything at one time)
The series is really, just a buzz. The cast is perfectly matched, it's a pity that everything ended like this for the guys, of course, but initially the logical end of the group was very clear. And despite everything, they remained in history. 🥺
I've never been a fan of the Sex Pistols. I only knew about the story of Sid and Nancy. It was very interesting and enjoyable to watch the series. Danny Boyle did a great job.
It turned out very strong, stylish and conveyed the atmosphere, it's really very cool. The cast of the cannon played everything on the level, thanks, I looked at the choke with a thrill!
"They said they wouldn't give us the money, supposedly we'd spend it on alcohol and drugs..." "And we'll spend it on them!" Sid is immortal yet in Oldman's game

I was just in the shit, it couldn't have ended with anything but an overdose in my twenties. https://youtu.be/R8G160j8uvo?si=d26pR87Ievl7Mvvj - a recent Furry (the one from Galileo) about the band. On my own, I would like to note the total miscast of almost all participants, especially this degenerate from the Hunger Games in the role of Malcolm.
I really like that Sid Vicious is not the center of the universe here. I've never been interested in this band, but even I know the Power. However, I really liked the series, it was interesting to look at the history of the band, and not just the love of two drug addicts. But it's interesting that they've been saying all the time over the last few episodes that Sil is unique and unrepeatable. In the series, at least, I didn't see anything unique in it. Rotten, for all its nastiness, is much more unique to me.
The cast of the series is just great. The only thing is that Louis in the role of Sid is too cute and handsome, and somehow he doesn't convey it this way. But the actors in the roles of Chrissie Hynde and Rotten went very far.
Somehow everything was crumpled up at the end, but it seems like it's not bad. I like Sid, but finally a series came out that didn't make him the center of the universe, showing the story and the rest of the participants.
