s02e12 — Girlfriend and Me

To be honest, when the 2nd season started, I was sure that the second half would be an arc with the film.
But the anime seems to have decided to milk the manga as well.

At least because the film's arc was 10/10

Despite the emotional finale, we haven't seen any movement in their relationship or any growth in their characters all season. If there is a 3rd season, and someone decides to skip after the first one, they will not miss anything.

What the hell is this? It feels like the whole season has been dragged on, and in one episode they decided to reveal the motivation of the heroine and put pressure on pity. And to be honest, it didn't work out, there were zero emotions at all.

It's watchable in principle, but it seems to me that the story of Chizuru is much more interesting than the story of Kazuya, who hasn't had anything for two seasons (even though there was one ex). Well, as it is, the plot ending is more or less acceptable compared to the singing season. We are waiting for the third season.

In the last episode, we decided to show the suffering and motivation of the heroine, so that we would feel sorry for her? I personally didn't feel better. The whole season is about nothing, there is almost no character development or their relationship.

I rated this season higher for myself just because it was "more beautiful" or something. There were a couple of funny moments in it, otherwise it's really a bit empty and memorable, personally, for me, just the boozy scene and that's it. Alcoholics are our everything, apparently. There was little Sumi, there was a lot to the left of our Gg, otherwise meh... I hope the third season will improve and try to develop the hero's relationship with at least someone, and not just lies with Chisura, lies with his Hand, a rare appearance and just 2.5 pathetic phrases from Mami and even more attempts to talk from Sumi.
I'll tell you separately about the final episode, which turned out to be a normal opening for Chizura, they say, that's why she's so harsh and goes into acting so well. He was good. In general, for some reason, I think the second season is better than the first, even though there were no movements in the second.

After the second season, I decided to check out the manga, it turned out that the second season ended around issue 103 of the manga. I decided to spoil it for myself and opened the latest issue at the moment- 282, and what was my surprise when I saw that THEY WERE IN THE SAME PLACE. Their relationship is not developing in any way. This is not even funny anymore, in general, we are preparing for three more empty seasons.

Not the third season, no😭
