To shoot a series with such extras and such a cinematic scale is quite difficult, long and expensive in itself, and taking into account certain restrictions, even more so.

I watched them one after the other at once. And this is the first time I've seen such a long break. I watched the first three episodes of season 4 - just how the new series looks, without a backstory. Anyway, of course, it's interesting to watch, because it was shot well, the actors are pleasant and the plot is exciting. The only thing I remembered from previous seasons was that the main character became the first female police officer (sort of) and that she and her sister live in poverty.
In Volker Kucher's books, based on which the series was filmed, the historical reality of Germany at that time is described in amazing detail. I really like how the characters of the characters are spelled out within a given genre: Gereon, Charlie (Charlotte) and their colleagues.
The creators of the series fully managed to transfer the delightful, frightening and oppressive atmosphere of the novels to the screen. And although the third book in the series ("Goldstein") is not as dynamic and diverse as the first two ("Babylon-Berlin" and "Silent Death"), I am sure that the new season of the series will also be on top.
@snorkelle: Only the first book is freely available in Russian - Babylon - Berlin, the second in Ukrainian, the third only in the original and in English. In Russia, books are practically not translated.

Начали бодро! Кажется, первый раз смотрю на кристаль-нахт и прочий юден-фрай в HD. Тут немцы молодцы, конечно. Кто, если не они, верно? Ну и музыка стала сильно лучше, чем в прошлом сезоне.
Гереон, ну ты то чего майн камф-то начитался от племянника🥺. Смотреть больно. Шарлотту жалко, что столько пережила из-за своей семьи. И интересно, к чему приведёт эта история с фройлян Зегерс и герром Вендтом.
Живенько начали. Столько событий в одну новогоднюю ночь. Хельга добилась своего и стала женой богатого наследника. Но мама чувствую, не сдастся без боя. Надеюсь, что Гереон двойной агент. Да и вообще как-то тупо участвовать в беспорядках, будучи действующим сотрудником полиции. Его мог кто угодно узнать. Тут тебе и коррупция в рядах полиции, надеюсь Тони останется жива и Шарлотта ей поможет. Песня такая прилипчивая из начала и конца серии. Почти так же как песня Северии из 1 сезона. В криминальном мире новый босс? Все несут ему деньги, даже армяне. Про бриллиант интересно узнать, он видимо украден у евреев.
