I really like it! I didn't expect anything from the series at all, and if he hadn't offended the feelings of believers, I wouldn't have found out about him. and it's beautifully shot, and it's interesting to see such a cult of mother's personality, they pray to her instead of icons)
@Sar: yeah, I immediately liked him on the main page in the movie search, but Ivleeva scared me off, after the news I decided to take a look anyway) While it's also coming in, something new
@mikkirurkbezruk: I hope there will be some logical explanation why they are so dismissive of her pain and do not give medicines. Maybe she's some kind of former drug addict, I don't know.
They said the same thing there. "She always has a stomach ache. He's taking time off from work." I don't think anything will happen after that. Previously, there was often such an opinion.
In general, it would be more interesting if the creators really researched the topic and wrote the script based on the real fates of people who chose the monastery
My friend works as a district doctor and once had a call to a convent. She comes in, and there's already a rotting smell from a man. They were treated with prayers.
If Yura's mother was 16 when she gave birth to him, so maybe Father Varsonofy is actually his grandfather? Just in the flashbacks, his eldest daughter is shown to be less pious, she did not take her mother's job at the casino with hostility and refused to believe that demons possessed her. Maybe they will further share custody of their daughters, the eldest will find herself in an environment where early pregnancy is predictable.
@Artemis1: yes, there don't seem to be any prerequisites yet for the hero of Yankovsky to suddenly seduce his own daughter. Moreover, he is even shown in flashbacks as a man of the right views.
But Yura knows that Mother Elizabeth is his mother's younger sister. Varsonofy's youngest daughter is also named Lisa (as indicated in the credits). And Mother Elizabeth lets slip that she was taught by Varsonofy, as Yura used to be. But after a fair question about why your dad taught you and not your father, she abruptly stops the conversation.
@KateMilk: everything seems to fit, but the name of the abbess should have changed to a new monastic one, given at the tonsure. And it is not entirely clear how the girl Elizabeth could remain a nun Elizabeth.
@Uilliam: I didn't take this point into account at all - I'm not an expert on the topic. Then it will be all the more interesting to see the continuation of the series, whether my theory is confirmed or not. It's just that maybe the creators of the series did not delve so deeply into the topic of religion and did not take into account all the subtleties. (Why would they get a minus then)
I wonder, then, why did Elizabeth tell me that she grew up in priyut? There are a couple of non-joints, but the theory is good, something here is clearly not clean)
@Uilliam: monastic names can be almost identical to secular ones. A striking example is Patriarch Alexy II, who was Alexei in the world. The secular name Elizabeth and the ecclesiastical Elizabeth are different names.
It seems to me that Yura is the grandson and son of the eldest daughter. Elizabeth is naturally the youngest, she was devout and, it seems to me, she mocks Panteleimon so much because of some painful memories of her sister or mother. I wonder what's wrong with Panteleimon. At first I thought she was pregnant, but now I doubt it.
"Do you baptize snickers too when you eat?"😂 The girls talked so sweetly in the cowshed, and then they took it and handed it over. An interesting series, the actors play everything well, in this series I would like to note separately the game of Mark Eidelstein and Svetlana Ivanova (I didn't like her before, constantly in the same images, but here she is just different). We are waiting for the next episode🔥
We have finished with the most interesting and now we have to wait a week🤯
you can call an ambulance, even if there is no SIM card in the phone at all.
That's putting it mildly.
to see such a cult of mother's personality, they pray to her instead of icons)
I don't understand the position of not giving medicine to a girl at all.
But even if he is not the father, then the grandfather is for sure

Have they really learned how to make TV series?
