I agree with the comments above, Naomi's open AVERSION to her own daughter is generally strange to observe. It would be fine if they could make ends meet, eat the last horseradish without salt, but Maya has both parents, very wealthy (!!!) the guy who wants to stay is an adequate nice guy's mom. Yes, there was a situation, pregnancy at 15, but it has already happened, and Maya is scared And Naomi has already had 2 episodes in a row of "I can't", "I can't", and so on. Anyway, they're mom and daughter, the closest, and at times like this, no matter how hard it is for both of them, they need each other. I just really didn't understand why the wedding is at 15? Apparently for the legitimacy of the baby's birth. If not, then it seems to me that they could already live as a family, they would just get married after coming of age, but maybe they will still voice a clear reason.
I think after some time she will cool down, realize the mistake, and come to Maya, and she will already close herself off from her, I think the future mother-in-law will close the need for a mother for a while.
