When at the very end the cop asks Alice who she is talking to, she answers - with a dead man, and then looks at the sky. Is it like a reference that Balthazar is no more, and he is now just her hallucination? Or maybe even a double reference that Balthazar also talked to corpses.
@Koralain: Yes, I got it too, but it's so sad😞 I already shed tears. Here we managed to make it so that everything ended well, but it's still sad... Although with his lifestyle, he lived for a long time))
Elise was picked up by a chic one and left a reserve for a sequel, if someone wants to make it with a female version of Balthazar. I would look, to be honest.
Anyone who misses Balthazar and his conversations with his deceased wife - welcome to watch Vortex. Tomer Sisli is talking to the dead and his wife there. :)))
The actress for the role of the daughter looks as if they really had her. Straight taken from him and Maya. It's a pity that he died so early - it's sad. But, how did I cringe in this series at the moments when they have to look for the smallest hairs from the killer and the like, but at the same time she is not in a suit with shoe covers, her hair is loose - this also applies to detectives before. They also went without costumes before Balthazar finished the inspection (and usually he hadn't even started it yet), although there are extras in such special suits there. And no one eats in the morgue - specifically where everything happens. This is not only unpleasant, but also dangerous to health, plus you can spoil evidence, etc. And so in general, the series was more or less realistic at first, and then a fairy tale where a forensic scientist does all the work of detectives and super strange things happen to him and people on the way. But, despite the shortcomings - a good ending, like the series itself, it was interesting and the actors, especially the main one, are good.
@Soon1304: Yes, very sorry. But apparently he managed to raise and learn his daughter after all. With his lifestyle, he lived for a long time). And the fact that they went there without costumes and ate in the morgue - they really eat, I have several medical friends)). Already in their senior years they become completely insensitive to many things, such stories are told, the hair stands on end)). The plots are super, what a fairy tale, that's the beauty of it, fiction mixed with reality is always attractive, I love stories about superheroes), and everyone loves it. Otherwise there would be no films, but only documentaries))) In some episodes, the screenwriters were openly joking))
A good series! The first seasons are cool, but with the departure of Bach, I was not so interested anymore. Investigations are one thing, and when Balthazar's incredible interaction with Bach was also a plus, it's a separate thrill. And I did not see a worthy replacement for Helen, alas.
