I am very negative about some changes, because they change the meaning of the book, whitewash the characters at the expense of other characters (Daisy was made a direct sufferer of the entire series), but now I am not so skeptical about the theory that Camilla and Eddie will eventually be married (in one of the episodes, people noticed that in an interview when she shows her wedding photo, Camilla's engagement ring is different from what she wears while married to Billy).

It's infuriating that Billy kissed Daisy, they should have done better with the contact they had in the book. The songs, of course, are gorgeous, as is the atmosphere in general, but there are not enough conflicts within the group, everything is focused on Billy and Daisy (in the book, too, but there was a theme of their selfishness, and here Daisy type allows the participants to write songs themselves and add something from themselves, which is funny, considering that never once they showed how someone else offered their texts).

The screenwriters in their attempts to promote the Billy couple/Daisy was made into the nastiest character out of Billy. He also made mistakes in the book, but his desire to be better was motivated by his sincere love and gratitude to Camila and his family. And here he stays with them only because he is afraid of becoming like his father. Yes, he does not even count with the feelings of "his true love" Daisy.

so much fire and feelings for everyone - cool! sparks fly from the screen.
all characters are interesting and colorful. happy for a couple of Graham and Karen. Camila and Daisy are so different and gorgeous. I understand Billy Ahahaha. but he doesn't deserve them

Вот в книге химия между Дейзи и Билли прям чувствовалась, а тут как то вообще пусто… Камилла здесь тоже другая, хотя я понимала что поменяют многое и интерпретируют по другому. Если не брать в расчет книгу и что изменили, каких персонажей убрали и так дальше, то сериал действительно хорош

Книгу не читала, но от сериального Билли аж скулы сводит, настолько он невыносимый! К Дейзи конечно тоже свои вопросики, но Билли просто на первой строчке чарта "персонажей, которые бесят", такой самовлюбленный идиот, творит что хочет, а потом только и делает что извиняется
Камилла молодец, хоть мне и жаль что она остается с Билли(и похоже будет с ним до конца)
