until the last moment I thought that nothing would happen, and that this politician would appeal to the people with this story in his campaigns, but thank Satan, happy ending 🤭
@felagund08: I don't remember anymore, but at the beginning the demon said her name, and then when she was shown, her mother called her name exactly the same
@LockMyClock: think with your head, if you consider that she is crazy, then the demon is in her head, therefore he knows her name and in general everything that she knows. The person above is right, it was possible to understand when the facts that she initially did not know came together, namely the girl.
@Captcha: if it was her schizo, then she could well be convinced that she learned the name from a demon, and did not hear it somewhere else (for example, at work, serving customers)
@Captcha: What are you talking about? What theory? What's the idea? I wrote to you that if it were a schizo, then the patient would be completely sure of its reality.
@Captcha: Sorry, I didn't know you were a clown. Then read slowly and several times, I hope then the letters in the text will finally begin to form meaningful words in your head.
@lepeta123: What makes you think that what is happening is real? The case of the nuclear attack may be a coincidence. Dominoes are proof of that. Why would a demon make a phone call and clarify the rules? This is stupid, everything fell into place here, as well as the demon's conversations about space, the programs about which gg watched on TV.
@pokerface666_pf: that you don't have to be an asshole with others, if not out of the kindness of your heart, then just in case - you never know which one of them took the quest from the devil :D
@pokerface666_pf: I don't think anything can be learned from this. The series is more like a visualization of the ethical dilemma of whether it is possible to kill a small number in order to save a larger one. And in this case there is no right answer, everyone will defend their point of view and everyone can be understood, but this is an ethical question, it cannot be solved with the help of logic.
As I understand it, the idea of this series is that murderers will always find a reason to justify their murders. GG mentioned that her mother was considered crazy, so GG herself is probably sick with something. The finale, of course, turned out to be funny. Although I liked the series (certainly better than Mazey Day), but there is still some feeling that it is not very suitable for CHZ.
The idea of the series is to strengthen and bring to the point of absurdity the feeling of frustration and hopelessness that usually arises after the seasons of the Black Mirror. The apocalypse is like hypertrophied ultra-violence, and the "victims" are the least of the evils that could have prevented everything, but this is somehow evil, humanity is doomed
@VintageNutria54: it's probably hard to live with the syndrome of searching for deep meaning in everything in general. I'm afraid that the blame for this lies with the school teachers of literature and their approach to drumming into the children's heads the absurd idea that any work by itself is obliged by default to carry some kind of "morality", and the only and exclusively true one, which, moreover, was allegedly conceived by the author (even if he was forgotten about it ask). Moreover, without such an approach, the process of conveyor schooling would be impossible due to the non-triviality of evaluating diverse opinions instead of the expectation that the student will choose the right one from a certain set of answers.
I have never done anything like this in literature lessons, since literature has never been interesting in principle) In any case, the one that was taught. And the Black Mirror has always been famous for its deep meaning, so, in my opinion, on the contrary, it is somehow stupid to accept episodes in this series as they are, and not try to make something out of it. Not all TV shows have a deep meaning behind them, that's true, but this is not a case of a Black Mirror.
@HoldenWisdom: By the way, here's what I thought. CHZ it's about technology and how they affect our lives. Excuse me, but where are the technologies here? It's purely mystical/supernatural
@mandrygin95 CHZ was originally about technology — that's where the name comes from. And for the first three seasons, this theme was clearly traced in each episode.
First of all, CHZ is a satire on the way of life of people, since in most series they show +- our time, or the near past / future, then it is easier to show this way of life through familiar things, including technology and technophobia. So there is no CHZ has never been about technology, they are only part of the narrative, serving to reveal one or another topic of the series
@mandrygin95: Если конечно это не толстый трольный разгон, то тут можно обратиться хотя бы к исходному смыслу названия: https://screenrant.com/black-mirror-show-title-meaning-explained : The Netflix original series Black Mirror, created by Charlie Brooker, was named after the ominous reflection that peers back at an individual from a blank screen https://ru.wikipedia.org/wiki/Чёрное_зеркало_(телесериал) : Лейтмотив сериала — влияние информационных технологий на человеческие отношения и свзанной с этим технофобии.
It's clear that all this is happening in her head. She stupidly watches a lot of TV. Yes, the world of TV has become a more interesting, convenient place for her, a territory where she was able to go beyond comfort, even change, while the outside, the real world, seems to her a terrible nightmare, where a damn Armageddon is happening. She can embody all her thoughts, even murders, in her fictional world. And the Black Mirror (read "the world of technology") will help in this. We look at the screen, believe in what is happening, worry about the characters, it is sometimes much more real and interesting than our lives. And at the same time, how ridiculous and unrealistic it sounds when she tries to explain to the detectives what really happened. I applauded standing in this place. Cool episode! Cool Charlie Brooker!
@timeman: che, let's say she can make up her murders and so on, but then it doesn't add up why the police caught her, and in general, a nuclear war could not get like this by timing
@Selt3Z: I also put a diesel engine, all the crooked-assed people supported you here)) A gang of crooked-ass fanatics! And then they also vote in the presidential elections, for the same crooked-ass people - like themselves..
@HoldenWisdom: and who said anything about technology? I think the audience made it up themselves. In all episodes of CHZ, the plot has a double meaning. Most of the plots are brought to the point of absurdity, and more often, of course, it is easier to clearly show where technology is used. This topic is not yet so much explored in the cinema in a dramatic way.
@ChetRoller: The creator of the series himself said that the name "Black Mirror" is a reference to the black displays of electronic gadgets, so of course it's about technology.
@HoldenWisdom: probably not suitable for the CHZ, but starting from the third season there are a lot of pink snotty happy endings — Dive, Callister, San Junipero, Ashley O, etc. This season has been surprisingly depressing, and that's what it's good for. And by the way, is the nuclear apocalypse a kind of happy ending?)) Well, this...
@HoldenWisdom: Spend the rest of your life alone with a demon in absolute emptiness.. Well, that's it.. Even if we assume that her "immortal soul" will remain there and will not experience any needs, then I would still choose a nuclear explosion))
@Nonelementary: Why does everyone consider San Junipero a happy ending? There's also a final to think about. Two elderly heroines went to euthanasia, and that was the end of the story for them. And their digital clones went to Junipero to have fun. They are aware of themselves as the same women, but in fact this is not the case.
@alfers: If the creators wanted to show us that this is not the case and digital copies of human consciousness, they would have shown it that way. As it was shown in the series "Black Christmas", which depicted the horror of the existence of a digital clone. But in "San Junipero" they are exactly what "move" into digital reality, and when the old ladies woke up, their young "clones" did not hang out in San junipero without them. So you don't have to think for the creators of something that wasn't in the series. Well, think about it, but don't impose it on other viewers. Yes, even compare these two series in tone: "Black Christmas" is a techno horror, and Junipero is a digital paradise on the ocean in the company of his beloved. We were shown a happy ending in a scripted and dramatic way
@Mordecai: If I remember correctly, the explanation of the series about robot dogs is shown, indirectly, through technology in the Black Museum series. In particular, a teddy bear for loading consciousness.
@AtomicTroll: I always thought that all the plots of the black mirror take place in the same world in the same universe, and the series about the black museum is proof of that. And the happy ending of '79 can only be the imagination of a sick woman
@AndrewDosSantos: and it reminded me of the Supernatural again, Dean called Crowley that way. It feels like I'm watching something interesting, but not CHZ, but a mixture of Super and AI
@anabeltesfaye: it's clear that the name is clear, but what does it have to do with it? As the creators explain, this is an offshoot, but the meaning is not clear. The black mirror is clear, the screen of some gadget. And here?
@PanPanich: they don't explain in any way, this is the main complaint of everyone, including mine, for the whole season, in principle, the creators did anything, but not a black mirror
@kino_i_kedy: Red Mirror is an alternate title page for Black Mirror, indicating that the episode goes beyond science fiction and technology.
Speaking to Radio Times, creator Charlie Brooker explained, "Demon 79 begins with a sequence of headlines, "Red Mirror Presents," labeling it as "distinct from, but adjacent to, Black Mirror." This is due to the fact that "Black Mirror" tends to focus on technical dystopias or media satire, whereas in this story there is a stronger supernatural element that takes us back to the horrors of the 1970s. The episode almost defies classification."
@anabeltesfaye: recursion- all the episodes of this season were shown to us in the first episode on the Netflix analogue, and on Netflix they not only play chz, but also documentaries with mysticism and others.
I'll say this, I haven't watched the series yet, but after watching all the seasons, there is no bias towards technology, there was mysticism somewhere, human problems were somewhere. This season is wonderful as always, once again we are shown the problems of our society, so I think that makes sense.
@Suni_Takasi: Many people write that there is no bias in technology...but they forget in which time period the series were filmed.
For the 70s, in the last series, nuclear weapons and television (it is shown here through the prism of zombification by the image of a singer from the BM group) are top achievements.
For the zeroes, which were shown in series 4, their EMPHASIS was made (review the series if you do not believe, all the gadgets of the zeroes were shot specifically with a delay in attention to them) (cameras, iPod heroine, memory cards, old laptop, surveillance through a bug, WINDOWS XP finally!)
It's the same in episode 2...(the era of the 90s)
They always try to keep the series within the framework of showing through the prism of technology, you did not notice this because of the time jump for a couple of decades or even one back.
@Fatal: there have always been technologies of the future in all seasons and episodes except for this, find at least one episode where there was no technology of the future
@LockMyClock: "Brandashmyg" was about the 80s, the series about blackmail of a kid caught watching porn is about current technologies, last season the second series (chamber, about a taxi driver who took hostage the owner of a social network) is also about modernity.
I liked the series. Yes, it's not exactly a Black Mirror. But thanks to some cooldowns, the corners are smoothed out and the series can be written as an alternative prequel to the series about robots. The atmosphere of the series was pleasing, as was the ending
@uvhand: my thoughts)) What a useful demon, no matter what you ask, will tell you everything about the future. And the apocalypse is not easy to take, they will not arrange it because of the failure of some graduate. (Well, it didn't work, so it didn't work) 🤣
It is not clear why someone decided that the series is not about technology, and adding any mysticism like werewolves and demons is normal. For anyone who forgot the official description of the CZ, here it is from IMDB: "Set in a world only minutes from our own, "Black Mirror", a UK and USA non-hosted anthology series; reveals how modern technologies can backfire and be used against their makers, every episode set in a slightly different reality with different characters combating different types of technologies." Key points of the description: - the near future (world only minutes from our own) - 3 episodes out of 5 this season about the past, 1 about the present. - about modern technologies that lead to a sad outcome (how modern technologies can backfire) - in half of the episodes of this season, we can also say that technology really led to something terrible, only if you pull an owl on the globe, otherwise it's banal "a man killed a man just because". Maniacs wouldn't kill people if there were no cameras? A werewolf wouldn't kill people if there weren't paparazzi? I'm not talking about the demon at all. If the authors want to shoot mysticism, they can start a new anthology, call it "Seroburmalinovoe mirror" or whatever. It's as if everyone was watching Game of Thrones, and then in season 5 everyone pretended that it was a series about role-playing characters from the neighboring forest. Yes, episode 5 was funny. This does not negate the fact that the viewer came to dark fiction, and got the devil knows what. How then do you choose TV series to watch at all, if the authors can change their minds at any time about what genre and topic they are shooting?..
@Scheusalwirt: Thanks for saying that! I myself planned to write to the commentators above that on netflix the series is stated as about technologies that affect our lives. And here there is no technology at all, only mysticism. Well, in what place is this CHZ?
How can they stop watching what attracted them to the series. The influence of technology on humans was the main motive of all the series. Now it's already some kind of AI.
@noxols: I've had similar associations throughout this series. And the 2nd one too. The plot is interesting, yes. There are many interesting points to think about. But if I turned on the series without knowing what I was turning on, I would definitely say that this is the AI universe.
@Scheusalwirt: I agree, I wrote about it, that's how they messed up. The first episode was excellent, the second indirectly about the inside of the documentary, the third with a stretch and here are 4 and 5 purely from mysticism. And the name already has a sonorous one, if the creators want to shoot more mysticism - the red mirror :)
Knock on the Cabin done right, but it's not clear what all this except the first series does in the black mirror. The series is super, just not in that series.
Well, it seems that CHZ is like a series about technology everything. "Loch Henry", "Mazey Day" and "Demon 79" it is not clear what they are doing in this anthology at all, what do werewolves, demons and serial killers have to do with it? It would look harmonious in Murphy's American Horror Stories or Guillermo del Toro's Cabinet of Curiosities, but not here. "Joan is awful" and "Beyond the sea" are nothing relative to the rest of the series, but they still lose against the background of previous seasons. It's a pity, because before the series was original and unique in its kind, and now it has turned into something vague 😕
@id233538683: Henry Loch can still understand where in the end people who are not faced with grief imitate serial maniacs and rejoice, while those who were victims, lost someone in the shadows, cry.
@Branson: @Fatal: there have always been technologies of the future in all seasons and episodes except for this, find at least one episode where there was no technology of the future
@LockMyClock: Well, what's wrong with technology?) And like people are in control of the situation as much as the plot of this episode is real) As it is, I completely agree, it gets out.
@LockMyClock: It's thanks to assholes like you that MyShows is slipping and the opinion of his roommates, as well as the evaluation of TV series and individual episodes, is increasingly different from reality and less appreciated by people.
A normal comment was overlooked. I support that everything is shown for the malice of the day. It is necessary not to puff, which does not look like a disaster, but to draw conclusions that are similar to our realities. Welcome to real life! And if you need to kill three villains to save yourself from nuclear weapons, there is hope;)
The series is good, but it's anything but CHZ. In general, the season as a whole is completely different, but it's just as good, 2 episodes out of 5 are even more or less suitable for the CHZ.
I'm trying to figure out if there's some hidden meaning and relationship between these episodes that don't fit into the CHZ (except for the first and beyond the sea), or if the series are just so simple and that's it. Otherwise, a review from the CBU will be released after a while, which will put everything on the shelves and blow up the brain.
@Tartugec: It's not torn off, it's just made thinner, with time jumps, because of which the technological impact for a modern person of the 2020s is not visible....well, all sorts of media references and the agenda are a bit bad for the series in terms of revealing scenario ideas (especially the last episode...made purely on trends)
@Фаталь: @Fatal: there have always been technologies of the future in all seasons and episodes except for this, find at least one episode where there was no technology of the future
Based on the reaction to this season, it is potentially possible to film another series of CHZ on the topic of how people deny reality and try to justify something in order not to lose their illusions. It's just a pity that it will come out weak because of Brooker's pen, because he was written out 5 years ago, but people don't want to lose the illusion that a series with such a cool idea and a bunch of cool episodes can no longer produce anything sensible. By the way, it already amazes me that in all these years there has not been a series on the topic of "what if". A lonely guy would install some kind of social network application that generates an alternative reality based on information about your friends from the Internet and in which you can communicate with these very "acquaintances" with whom you stopped communicating in real life a long time ago and shows what it could lead to in the end. And of course, in this app, some random girl from the past would become his wife and the love of his life, and that old buddy would be his best friend to the grave. He would have tried to repeat this trick with a real person, the same person from the application, but of course nothing would have worked and he could have hanged himself out of grief, for example. Here you have the theme of how rumination destroys our lives, and the bitter ending, and the use of technology, while not entirely fantastic. In a word, the canon. But instead, for the second season, we get teen series, true edge, demons, werewolves, and the devil knows what else. He's so out of ideas that he makes another spit in the direction of the paparazzi, but the saliva has long since run out. But the fan base is ready to justify it all with the ridiculous "CZ has never been about technology, it's about human vices." Yes, almost all the TV shows in the world are about human vices. I choose for dark fiction, not for werewolves and other mysticism. Thanks for the first and third series (although it's not without plot crutches), you can safely forget about the rest.
@AndrewJudas: from that moment on, I caught the vibe of Doctor Who, as if they were flying away to explore the vastness of the universe with a companion)
The worst season of the CHZ, as for me. It has already been said repeatedly above that half of the episodes of the season are not about technology at all, and it is unclear how mysticism, the story about serial killers and demons are connected with this series. While watching, I even forgot that I was watching CHZ, and not something else. The series might look cool in other series, but clearly not in this one. Directors and screenwriters have chosen a very strange direction, because there are a great many ideas and stories about technology that can be filmed, it is unclear why they chose these stories. I liked the previous season much more. I hope the next one, if there is one, will not disappoint like this one.
I really liked the series, it's unusual and interesting.
This whole season has shown how cruel people can be, it's been in every episode. Anyone is capable of this cruelty. It's very sad to think about it. But even if you read the comments to this series, many people write about the happy ending, but what kind of happy ending is it if at least 4 nuclear bombs were dropped there? Such a happy ending, no?)
The first three episodes were interesting, the last 2 are on the fast track. The branch with the werewolf in episode 4 is very strange, and this episode, IMHO, was very long and unpleasant.
Top2 episode of the season after the 3rd. It's just a pity that this is just a good episode, and not a good episode of black mirror... That this, that this 4th episode does not fit into the concept of the series at all
Now I want a spin-off about their adventures! A very cool duo and an interesting series, without a black mirror, but with black humor))
The whole season came out completely unexpected, unlike the CHZ, the angle shifted from technology to something personal, social and even mystical, that's what no one expected)) I don't think that's a bad thing, but it could be in any other series. I liked it anyway and I'm really glad that the new season did happen, I'm a huge fan of the series. After watching it, I want to reflect and discuss, and it's great, it means that the scriptwriters managed to bring something important.
How touching it is to walk into an apocalyptic nuclear sunset by the hand of a demon😁 It's not a bad episode, in my rating of the season it's in 2nd place after the first, I think that in the future I'll only review them) We started the season for health, then we almost reached complete rest with the werewolves, but in the end we finished anyway, no matter how ironic it was with regard to the ending of the episode, also for health) Nada is just a big mood, you start to empathize with her from the very beginning, Gaad is just a top, show me where to find this damn house to summon him! Boney Em fit in perfectly, and anyway the whole soundtrack of the series is great :) I didn't have any hopes for the season, I didn't even watch the trailers. 2 excellent episodes, 2 more or less watchable and 1 failed - overall a good result. For me, CHZ reached its peak on seasons 3 and 4, I don't think they'll ever surpass them.
Yes, there were a couple of funny moments, but still... people, what's wrong with you? Do you admire the ending? Are you happy that the heroine decided to stay with a demon in the eternal abyss ... who, at a click, can fool anyone, turn into any character, change a person's perception, inspire anything, become a "shirt guy"?) Flirting with darkness and jokes on this topic do not lead to good. OK. Even if we remove the assumption that mysticism/other worlds and invisible forces exist... let's get back to the earthly topic.:
Here, in addition to the main message about the ethical choice of killing and the essence of people, I see an excellent metaphor for the fact that under the guise of any entertainment and humor, ANY evil and lies can be made attractive. The comments confirm this.. And this is exactly the essence of the black mirror. The meta-irony, however.
This is probably the most realistic episode of at least this season. It's just that the girl, who is used to restraining emotions, had a psychosis and a breakdown due to anxiety due to news about nuclear powers [at the beginning of the episode, she switches the channel with news about the arms race to an entertainment program]. Yes, she tries to visualize the exhaust of her experiences, but fantasizing is not enough — the stimuli continue to irritate. A humiliating situation at work leads gg to the basement, where she sees newspaper clippings with news about human casualties, after which the mayday [distress call for a moment] was successfully passed. And then a demon appears, who warns that if Nida doesn't kill someone a little bit, a big bang will happen. But it's hard to trust a demon in its classic form, but you can rely on an attractive guy from the TV. And off it went...
The series is interesting, but quite simple, with a long timekeeping and, alas, having a rather deep relationship to the emergency. The rest of this season's episodes are really cool, this one is a gray horse, but I just wanted to write a comment on it)
Unfortunately, this is another example of a series where the creators can't stop and are riveting seasons simply because they can make money. The last seasons of the series are getting more boring and more uninteresting. I just had to leave at a beautiful point and with the amazing love of the audience, but no, while the cow is being milked, why not milk it. Very sorry.
I liked the series, but I can't disagree with the comments that it's not a black mirror at all. And red, yes, a cupcake In fact, if the creators don't take out some kind of piano out of the bushes after this incomprehensible five-episode episode, then for me personally, with all my great love, this is the most disastrous season.
Damn, I would have watched The Death Note in such a reworking, with such a charismatic demon and a controversial character. Not that failed movie of 2017
She's a great girl, I remember her from Killing Eve, where she also played a murderer.
Overall, the season is not bad, there is something to think about, it was interesting to watch the episodes, although some questions remained. 5 sweeps out of 10
I don't understand why Charlie Brooker decided to move away from the usual canons into some strange experiments in terms of scenarios that are extremely far from the theme of dystopias around technology. In the sixth season, the only episodes canonical for "Black Mirror" were only the first and third. The second series is some kind of detective thriller, and the last two episodes are the same real "Guillermo del Toro's Cabinet of Curiosities" with an emphasis on mysticism.
I wouldn't mind if there were only two episodes in this season, but the most canonical ones for the series. "Demon 79" and "Mazey Day" could have been completely filmed in an independent project without reference to the "Black Mirror", and "Loch Henry" turned out to be a good thriller worthy of an independent feature film, but all these series do not correspond at all to the usual canons and themes.
In general, considering that already in the fifth season the series had problems and it was frozen for a long time, that is, I have every reason to believe that the audience will not appreciate Brooker's performances in the sixth season and the title will most likely be closed.
@Hunter_Number23: still, the second series is about truecreams on streaming services. The suffering of others is an interesting sight. I associate it with the 1st episode of the 1st season. But I do not perceive the 4th and 5th episodes of this season as a disaster, yes.
For some reason, I remembered how tik tok was filled with theories about Hollywood stars' deals with the devil after Rihanna and Sam Smith's performance. Their clothes are also red and symbolize the devil to some extent, and the series began with the fact that it is a red mirror, not a black one. In general, there is, as always, something to think about.
The series is interesting, but like all the other series, it's not about technology, it's not about technology. It used to be a feature of the series, but now it's an anthology about mysticism or something)
Yes, the series is about technology and its impact. The first and third series still somehow fit into the genre and the agenda of the series, the rest of what, why and why is not clear.
It was shot with dignity, I like the acting and the musical accompaniment, but I can't get rid of the feeling that I was deceived.
And something tells me that they will be deceived again, because the franchise has a huge fan base and still excellent ratings, which means that the series will be put on the conveyor belt - they will increase the number of episodes in exchange for their quality.
@g1287635: @Fatal: there have always been technologies of the future in all seasons and episodes except for this, find at least one episode where there was no technology of the future
@LockMyClock: Conch, the series is not about technology, but about problems in society, and in the society of the future. And this season doesn't contradict that a bit.
It seems to me that most viewers miss that the authors of the series have gone not to the distant future, but to the near past, where technologies are not so progressive, but nevertheless still technologies - in the second series everything is spun on videotapes, in the fourth on a camera, and in the fifth on a regular TV from where the heroine hears all these predictions about the end of the world... and in each there is a "black mirror"
@pink-picnic: maybe so, but looking at the past is not so interesting to me personally. I already know how these technologies have affected a person, the series will not reveal anything new in this regard. But it would be useful to find out how new inventions can affect humanity. It would be better if this season was filmed about AI, for example, then it would be on trend. And videotapes and a tube TV - well, this:(
@pink-picnic: @Fatal: there have always been technologies of the future in all seasons and episodes except for this, find at least one episode where there was no technology of the future
Some kind of game.... Five episodes, and in fact the first two and a half at least a little resemble the entourage and the plot is more like an AI, by God ... it's a disappointment (((
*The "Supernatural" fandom has entered the chat and is waving a friendly pen* And I thought that the previous episode was from someone else's setting, but the scriptwriters of the CW managed the impossible - to surpass the absurdity of the scriptwriters of The CW. Should I go over and reconsider?
@life_nerd: @Fatal: there have always been technologies of the future in all seasons and episodes except for this, find at least one episode where there was no technology of the future
I feel like everyone is wildly disappointed, and I'm with you, you can understand us: the fifth season was very short and very vague four years ago, people probably thought that such a pause would lead to an extravaganza in the sixth season. Moreover, the field for scenario moves and ideas has been continuously surrounding us since 2019: chatGPT, pandemic, crypt, political situation, strikes, sanctions, etc. naturally, when you look around at all this, expectations were very high, I remember back in the days of self-isolation, the thought was just spinning in my head: I wonder how the pandemic will be shown in the emergency room?
They didn't show it. if the series is "tired" and wants to change the paradigm a little, it seems to me that it would be much more humane to close it and implement these new ideas under a different name. but again, we have a choice: to watch or not to watch. and the rest is all lyrics.
This is a disaster for Black Mirror. Instead of showing the relationships of people who use the "black mirror" in their daily lives, which we carry with us in our pockets, in 3 episodes we were shown a remake of "Tales from the Crypt" with maniacs, a murderer and one werewolf, in 1 episode "wild West" with an actor who played a similar role there and 1 episode, in which the "black mirror" is specifically affected. I really didn't like the season, very much. The authors' imagination ran aground. Sorry.
What a Dostoevschina! She killed the murderer and the witness, the brother of the murdered man. I doubted it for a long time, but I ruthlessly soaked it with a hammer. Not a trembling creature, but one who has the right!
The 6th season didn't come in. I'm used to techno fantasy, which shows what technology can lead to, exaggerating in forecasting the development of technology in a fantastic style. I liked it in the first seasons, when there were 3 episodes each and there was a narrative in the conditional future. This season, all episodes are a thing of the past. In addition to the 1st series, the idea of AI is interesting, and with the development of neural networks, it no longer seems like a distant future. The 1st series can be attributed to the near future. But the rest of the episodes had a touch of the past. Episode 2 (Henry from the Sucker) - an investigation in the present about the past, a lot of old footage with cassettes, which are now hard to find during the day. Episode 3 (Beyond the sea) - the atmosphere of the 60s is on earth, but there is space and new technologies. Episode 4 (Maisie's Day/Crazy Day) - the fantasy atmosphere with werewolves is strange, but it is interesting that the authors made an attempt to transfer the problem of technology and media to another world. Or they were stupidly written out. Because instead of a werewolf, the heroine could be made mentally ill. The girl is riding through the roof and the "shoot me" theme could be left. But the overall atmosphere of the series is similar to the present.: cameras, phones, and an iPod. Episode 5 (Demon 79) - also tells about events in the style of the past, when Russia (strangely, not the Soviet Union) is the main evil of the world. Here, they slightly corrected what I was talking about the 4th series and did not completely make fantasy / mysticism, but gave the opportunity to write off the craziness of the heroine. But at the same time, how does this series relate to the Black Mirror? At first, it seemed that the idea of the season, that the problems of the "black mirror" do not exist as something distant, but they are already here and have existed for a long time. But the last two episodes don't fit in. She still fits in with the werewolf, but the latter is completely out of the question. This is not what I'm used to and what I expected from the series after such a break.
I only liked the cosmonauts episode. The last two episodes... How did they get here? It was like they needed the last two episodes and they shot what they had, which they couldn't turn into either a movie or a TV series. But it's much better than season 5.
The theme of the disaster in the series is not the negative impact of technology, but how unnecessary political games can affect the world. That's how I saw it personally. But despite the unusual performance for the series, the episode turned out to be interesting) I don't understand the low rating in myshows
A completely disastrous season. Of the five episodes, only the third is good, the rest is not clear why it is needed at all. Again, if these episodes were in another series, they could look normal. But there's a feeling of disappointed expectations, as if you come to kfc for fried chicken, and suddenly there are only vegetable salads on the menu. And you seem to like salads too, but that's not why you came here at all. In general, if I wanted to watch trukraim or fiction about demons and werewolves, I would have looked at something other than the black mirror.
The best episode of the whole season, imho. I'm used to the fact that Black Mirror shows how technology can distort our reality, but this episode, and the whole season, is practically not about that.
I thought there would be a different ending. The main character has repeatedly wondered how she will kill her hated colleagues and that killer, and then a talking amulet appears, which encourages her to kill. I thought that at the end of the episode it would turn out that she has manic schizophrenia and she imagined it all, but to be honest, this ending with armageddon even made me smile))
But if we talk about the season as a whole, it is the weakest of all the previous ones, it is a pity :(
I don't want to believe that the creators intentionally added a fantasy element for the second series in a row. Maybe all the events happened in her head after all? It's not for nothing that we were shown her violent fantasies even before meeting the demon, how she strangled a man and hit her partner against the window? Did you combine images and news from the TV + articles in the basement + the influence of a hostile environment? Is there such a theory? Plus, her pupils were like in episode 3 of season 1 (the episode about the chip implanted behind the ear that records everything a person sees)
@Фаталь: What the hell is this about whites dying in nuclear ashes, giving way to a new life for all other races? Are the other races immune to nuclear war?
@Фаталь: There is such a syndrome of searching for deep meaning. They bomb exactly what they have outside their window, because that's all the actors see. Nigga said it would be the end of the world, not the end of your country or the end of all whites. Hindus are taken to the cinema so that it sells better in India. Just like they take Chinese people to the cinema so that it sells better in China. In my opinion, there are still some local benefits for filmmakers because of this. And black leaves the bubble not to "unknown safe places", but, as far as I remember, into oblivion, which does not sound very positive. Perhaps a fate worse than death.
@parampampam1: Statement of facts and CNGS are two different differences.
"And the black one leaves the bubble not to "unknown safe places", but, as far as I remember, into oblivion, which does not sound very positive. Perhaps a fate worse than death."
@Фаталь: What is a statement of facts? You were making something up for yourself, literally ignoring the plot. It was like you were watching an episode without really sticking it in while you were peeling potatoes. Or watched it without making a sound.
Once again, we are being shown the end of the world. The whole planet. The demon told us about this at the very beginning of the series. You're omitting this inconvenient fact. So it's not just whites who die in the nuclear ashes, but everyone, including Hindus and even Mongols.
And two: the demon was exorcised. Into the void. Not to a safe, comfortable place with a pony and a rainbow, but into the void. The underworld? Do you think eternity in the void is better than death? Given that there are demons in the story, there is probably a hell and a heaven. But even if there are none, death is still better than being (aware of oneself) in eternal emptiness. Do you know what it's like to be in the void? Do you remember the special edition of the second season of Black Mirror White Christmas? There, 3 months later, Cookie was already losing her mind and she asked to give her any job.
The fact that the main characters are Indian and black is still possible to whine, but everything else is far-fetched, IMHO.
@parampampam1: They showed exactly what they SHOWED, not what you interpreted according to the words of a black man playing the role of a demon. Why didn't they show how the whole world was dying? Previously, when shooting disaster films, they shot scenes from different countries...to show the scale. IMMEDIATELY, no one even planned to show the scale of what was happening with the devastation of the countries of the 3-4-5 worlds...all kinds of backward anti-civilization HOLES. BECAUSE THAT WOULD BE RACIST! They showed how a British city is being bombed, in which the population is WHITE RACISTS, and a Negro and a Hindu avoid atomic fission...that's all. The reference to White Christmas is unclear...It was about something else, lol.
@Фаталь: They didn't show us how the whole city was being destroyed. We were shown what the cops see. No more and no less. What is visible to the horizon, i.e. what the actors see. It's not necessary to show the whole world. Like in the finale of Far Cry 5. They showed only one rocket and one explosion, but it was obvious that it was the apocalypse, because that was the whole point of Cimes. Or at the beginning of the Autofac series of Philip K. Dick's Electric Dreams, where only one rocket and only one explosion flies, and then n years after the apocalypse. It is not necessary to show how they are plowing all over the planet. And to think that they didn't show how the whole world blames each other for showing tolerance is so strange to me. Moreover, considering that we were warned that the whole world would end, and this is not my guess at all.
The reference to a White Christmas was to show that it was not a happy ending for a black man and a Hindu woman, and their fate was much worse than atomic fission. On a specific example of where the guilty Negro was exiled. Into the void. The cookies of that girl from Christmas were marinated in a similar void. I'm sure the Indian woman will regret her decision very soon, that she didn't stay to die with all the white racists.
Most of the films are about white people People: OK, normal Some films began to be shot with people of color, well, or with strong women, etc. (including because such people also exist - that's a twist, isn't it?) White men: aaaaaa agenda!!!!11
@Christiana: It's one thing when choosing an actor who is suitable for a role, who is more charismatic and will look more professional on the screen. It doesn't matter which actor is white or black, fat or thin, maybe even disabled, it doesn't matter if the actor was chosen for the role, then no one will complain, and there are plenty of such films and TV series. It's another matter when a dick is chosen for a role, just to satisfy the critics and the agenda, as they do in the latest novelties, including what is done in this series.
I really enjoyed all the episodes of the season! I was just looking at the moment, without reference to the topic of technology, etc. In one go! Thanks to the creators of the series!
People who liked this episode. Don't you have any logical contradictions? The demon was in her head, but how does the last victim relate to the end of the world? And how could she have foreseen the end of the world? It's just schizophrenia and nuclear war, which have nothing to do with each other, but just so happened. Or was it necessary to add rockets for beautiful final shots? Again, how could she have predicted her father's f**k? Again, just a coincidence? Are there too many of them in this episode? Well, in general, the season was disappointing, and against this background, I will be happy to review season 5.
@dust_space: why "predict"? the fact that he was a pedophile was not confirmed anywhere, she could simply justify the murder by deciding that "well, he's probably a bad person."
// I'm not drowning for the idea that she had it all in her head, but your claim is also illogical.
The series is not bad, but "Crocodile" was better. I miss the old CZ. There was hope for this series, especially after the mascot with the symbol, as in the "Polar Bear" series, but something has gone into mysticism.
In short, it's clear that Brooker wants a spin-off, but Netflix didn't give him the green light right away, so he had to experiment here. And everything would be understandable and acceptable if it were really just one trial series, but here really most of the season is sewn with white threads. And the series is generally normal, but when there are still so many interesting technological topics that can be touched upon, and this does not happen, it becomes very sad.
This episode has more than recouped my suffering from the previous four. I'm satisfied. But damn, Charlie, you're good at messing around! I don't think everything is dark and bad, the very first episode of the series (poor piggy) is a benchmark in this regard, but there was a theme, connections, and this season is just a high-quality horror that lacks initial ideas and meanings.
The series seemed like a strange mix of "Dogma" and the art-house horror "Little Red Dress" (perhaps because of the red leather jacket - as an element of rebellion and self-will, and the heroine working in a store + all this in a retro setting). I don't know how to evaluate this series in the framework of the CHZ, You can find a lot of interpretations and try to tie it to the "common universe," but it's still obvious that most people have completely forgotten which series they're watching in the middle of the episode. But after it, I even wanted to review the Twilight Zone :D
Of the entire season, there are only two episodes from the declared genre, series 1 and 3, everything else is separate series that you can watch, but you still want your favorite genre. The season can be compared to 5 in terms of interest. I will be waiting for the new season, I hope there will be interesting thoughts and plots.
People are kind of weird... At the very beginning, they wrote that it was Red mirror... and if you had Googled this phrase, you would definitely have understood everything. That's how you look at it and then draw conclusions, gentlemen!
The fact that they named the episode differently does not make it suitable for the series. They would have made a spin-off of "red mirror" and shown all sorts of fantasy nonsense there.
@Kassandra__loo: I wish people could judge TV shows by their imagination. This could have been written by either a child or a person with a narrow mindset.
A great episode about the story of a poor girl's madness. Of course, there was no demon, there was a family history of mental illness, loneliness, bullying, bouts of suppressed anger, and finally her sick mind created the perfect imaginary friend who removed the last moral constipation and not only allowed, but directly motivated to kill. England was not turned into atomic ashes in 1979, and the poor girl is now sitting in an almshouse with soft walls and smiling happily.
The impressions are very different for the season as a whole. Joan is awesome - probably the best episode of the whole season Loch Henry is an unexpected fact, a bell of what to expect in the season in principle. As a hermetic detective, she is very good, but a little different from the "Black Mirror" that everyone is used to. Beyond the Sea - it seems to be good, but the painfully forced logic of the world. "I don't believe it." Mazey Day is generally full of bullshit, it's unclear how it turned out to be in the anthology. The writers' strike probably had an impact. Demon 79 - again very good, and again not at all the usual CHZ.
If we make a brief overview of all the episodes, then what have we got in almost four years of expectations?:
Episode 1 - we learned that Johnny Depp will be suing Salma Hayek in an alternate reality Episode 2 is an ordinary truecrame that has nothing to do with the BM universe . Episode 3 is Yessss, bitch! Science! The episode itself, as far as I'm concerned, is extremely boring and readable Episode 4 - Chhh, is stryga addicted to high tech??? By the way, one of the most ridiculous plot twists that I've seen in my life in Episode 5 is that there's a Weekend missing who starred in an Idol, not this one, where the role of a demon was written right for him. Probably the only episode I liked, but again, it's not a Black Mirror.
And a fair question arises: why was it filmed and for whom? If you didn't merge the two high-tech episodes, then at least they came out much weaker than the previous episodes. And everything else is not black mirror at all, but some kind of plots from other franchises.
Yes, there was enough money for the stars of the first serial magnitude, plus for production. What's the point if this is a completely different project that goes against the stated concept?
It seems to me that if the fuse has started to run out, and ideas for continuing the show are running out, then it would be fair to close the series and start developing some kind of separate project, which will have a completely different idea and style. People are not fools and they can see the catch perfectly well, no matter how hard you try to hide it behind a beautiful picture and a loud name.
In general, after the fifth season, there were concerns about the future of the series. After the sixth, they were fully confirmed. Hopefully, we'll see either a transformation into some kind of new series, or the closure of the project. It will not be possible to take this to a new level, because the ceiling has apparently been reached.
An interesting series about how psychosis develops. It's like a puzzle is being put together. A mentally unstable mother is a hereditary factor. Aggression from colleagues is an environmental factor. The political situation is the basis for fantasies. The book is about a visualization technique that exacerbates the tendency to aggressive fantasy. Tension builds up, and suddenly it becomes clear what needs to be done. Based on newspaper clippings, Nida creates a convincing explanation for why she needs to kill people. He projects his state of emptiness and loneliness onto the demon and, allegedly out of pity for him, continues to commit murders. The demon, by the way, deceives her three times.: 1) he promised that he would disappear when she said "yes"; 2) he said that this was his first task, although it was not so - there had already been three victims before the May Day holiday; 3) he allowed her to kill the killer, and then informed her that this did not count (this may indicate Nida's need to kill more and more, so she comes up with such an explanation for herself). The final twist can be either a coincidence or a continuation of the heroine's fantasies. Brooker manipulates me as a spectator, makes me admire Nida - how cute they both are together with the demon, how beautifully they go off into the sunset. The aftertaste is the same as after the movie "Brother", when you admire the gentle hero, despite the fact that he is a murderer.
@Марго18: The final twist can also be attributed to fantasy, as it is unclear how the heroine left the interrogation room. As far as I've noticed, Gaab can't affect physical objects, meaning he didn't open the door. How could she get out then? So she didn't come out.
But as I said, this beautiful theory is about a father and a girl. How could gg know about this? Maybe she had just seen this family with an autistic child before and attributed her daughter's behavior to the consequences of her father's actions? Or is it all just a coincidence and it turns out that the random man she killed really does have a strange daughter.
P.S. I reviewed the scene in the interrogation room. The police left an ashtray on the table, and if it was ceramic, then GG could have broken it and Roskomnadzor with a piece.
This is a nightmare)) We even surpassed yesterday's episode))) Although there is even more game and even less canon, the final episode was amazing for its design and ingenuity))) Even in a sense, the ending for GG is a happy ending... and the subject is a failure, as it was said in one famous movie.
It's a pity that this season was filmed more about the 20th century and the past in general than about at least some future, distant or not. Where's the technology here? In rune, or when the Negro called his fellow demons on a disk phone?
A very successful season! Well, for me personally. An interesting final episode with a solid plot, revealed characters and a cool demon. Of the five episodes, four were great.
The first episode is just rolling in, I like Annie Murphy, it was interesting to watch the development of events, Salma Hayek is just a sweet and the ending is very pleasant.
The second plot turned out to be a good thriller with a feint at the end, a little drama. Got carried away.
The third story is the strongest, it still doesn't let go of my thoughts. It was predictable, but it didn't make it any less emotional.
I didn't understand only episode 4, what, why, for what? Who should I empathize with? Who should I grieve for? Why mondrage? Crumpled, empty, and skimpy. It turned out to be a set of fragmentary events, without antagonists and protogonists, just a group of runners with cameras and a drug addict werewolf.
I liked the first and third episodes. They were the only ones that made me think. At first I took this series literally, I thought that the demon and mysticism were real (maybe they are ???), but in the comments I came across an interesting opinion that this is all the psychological state of the main character against the background of all the events in life and the world. Keeping that in mind makes it more interesting to watch. And how the heroine changes! (by the way, she has very beautiful big eyes).
I can recommend the TV series "The Years" (2019) to everyone - it looks more like the CHZ than the sixth season of the CHZ. There are only 6 episodes that leave a lasting impression and are deeply thought-provoking. I think this will help those who have experienced the disappointment of the season.
Okay, formally calling it a "Red Mirror", the authors dropped their claims about the compliance of the series with the conditions of the series. In Daisy Mae and Loch Henry, at least with a stretch, you can see technology, but here it's 100% past, pure fantasy. But I did not understand the morality of such a denouement. Just like that. The demon was telling the truth. Why did the pancake demon even have the task of preventing the apocalypse? He didn't even want to approve the murder of the future dictator - the authorities in hell wouldn't like that such a bad guy would leave early without having done a lot of villainy (by the way, the authors had a chance to put the action in Germany and, according to the classics, give GG a chance to kill Hitler :) At least, in my opinion, it would be more logical to let GG kill the third one and then it would turn out that the demon is a trickster and he needed this to start the apocalypse. Tricking an innocent girl into killing, thereby proving that no one deserves to be saved, and burning them all.
@GritsanY: the apocalypse will create bureaucratic difficulties in hell and a traffic jam at the entrance and the "distribution" of the dead to the boilers :D
So, the last episode, and I can say for sure that there are a couple of percentages of the CHZ here throughout the season. I won't trash it any further, everything has already been said. And as for the 5 series, as a separate film, I liked it! The actor who played the demon is sooooo charming, and Sean Dooley is an actor. An amazing scene, as Nida and Gaab go into the eternal boundless void of space, holding hands, against the background of a nuclear explosion. I want to believe that everything will be fine with them. Well, as far as non-existence with a demon is possible, forever together.
PS: And the most amazing thing is that this episode was watched tonight, after all the "events" in Moscow time.
@Michael8881: Within the framework of the story being told, this is a happy ending. Someday you will learn to evaluate the plot of fictional stories not in terms of a hypothetical impact on your life, but not today.
@PlayerENO: I already realized that your idea of a happy ending is bullshit. Why continue? Give me at least one example of a movie or TV series where a happy ending is the end of the world.
I used to think that "black mirror" was just about technology, because the screen = black mirror, but now I remember the moment from the Sandman where Morpheus calls the Corinthian "the black mirror of humanity" because people see their fears reflected in it. Of course, for me, this does not justify the presence of werewolves and demons in the CHZ, but I really liked this series. (And I still want to erase the previous one from my memory)
The season turned out to be very controversial. The plots are interesting, though not new, but still interesting to watch. There is practically no connection with the familiar "Black Mirror", only +- 1 and 3 episodes are suitable, in the last episode there are references to previous seasons at the moment when the demon showed the future. We were pleased with the appearance of such actors as Salma Hayek, Michael Cera, Josh Hartnett and Aaron Paul.
It's a strange season, the concept of a black mirror is at least 2 episodes suitable - about a quantum computer and about space. The rest are not from this opera at all, although they are also interesting.
This season is more like a live-action version of Love, Death and Robots. The series themselves are not bad, but they don't fit into a single concept of the CHZ (except for the first series, well, and the third a little). You can look at it, but there is a feeling that something is missing.
It was as if "Knock on the Hut" had been re-shot, choosing a different direction of the story. At least they would explain exactly how the three victims are supposed to stop a nuclear war. The series has taken a completely wrong turn, three episodes out of five need to be attracted to technology by the ears.
@driveshaft: maybe it's because not the smartest viewers themselves came up with genre restrictions that the authors didn't follow from the very first episode?
@AKhate: The creator changed his shoes because the technological ideas had run out. During the first seasons, he claimed that the series was about coexistence with technology, but now he says that the series was never about technology. It's easy to check.
@AKhate: Вот он статью писал перед первым сезоном, где объясняет задумку и смысл названия. https://www.theguardian.com/technology/2011/dec/01/charlie-brooker-dark-side-gadget-addiction-black-mirror
That's what we're aiming for with Black Mirror: each episode has a different cast, a different setting, even a different reality. But they're all about the way we live now – and the way we might be living in 10 minutes' time if we're clumsy.
The "black mirror" of the title is the one you'll find on every wall, on every desk, in the palm of every hand: the cold, shiny screen of a TV, a monitor, a smartphone.
Nonetheless, I relish this stuff. I coo over gadgets, take delight in each new miracle app. Like an addict, I check my Twitter timeline the moment I wake up. And often I wonder: is all this really good for me? For us? None of these things have been foisted upon humankind – we've merrily embraced them. But where is it all leading? If technology is a drug – and it does feel like a drug – then what, precisely, are the side-effects?
I didn’t want to be just hitting the same premises over and over again. Like, ‘What if this app ruined your life?’ Or, ‘Oh look! It turns out you’re in virtual reality.’ So there was a slight reset.

"I was super aware..." he begins, before readjusting his thoughts: "There was a slight danger... that people were bracketing [the series] as the 'tech is bad' show – and I found that a bit frustrating partly because I always felt like, 'Well the show isn't saying tech is bad, the show is saying people are fucked up'. So, you know, 'Get it right!'"
В целом, может, выше не совсем верно пересказал. Но видно, что шоураннер захотел изменить первоначальную идею, не подумав о фанатах шоу.
Moose's voice acting is legendary! Initially, it seemed that this was an OCD demon (a la, if you don't do it 3 times, something bad will happen) :D liked the season :)
What can we expect from next season? A series about telegram technology in a late 19th century setting? A series with an hour-long sitcom about the lives of Pakistanis in Britain, at the end of which they will tell us in two minutes that this series was written by a chat company? Is the series an offshoot of "Green Mirror", telling us about the life of koalas?
I honestly read all the comments under the series. Everyone is discussing either politics (relevance, the "agenda", "whites against colored people") or how this episode gets knocked out of all the episodes of CHZ and goes into mysticism instead of a technological anthem. But what surprised me was the absence of probably the most obvious idea that could be assumed after watching.
First of all, the whole story that we watched for an hour and fourteen minutes is not real. This is a fiction within the framework of the CHZ Universe, to which the viewer is accustomed. This is hinted at by the very "Red Mirror" (a separate brand that we do not know as Netflix viewers, but perhaps that viewers of the local Streamberry know), and the characteristic stylization of the film and the bulging screen of the old TV at the very beginning of the series, and the harsh background music that is specific to the horrors of the second half. 20th century.
Also, the season is quite logically looped: at the beginning of the season, we were shown how an art film is being shot for Streamberry, which we accept as reality (the film turns out to be fiction with hundreds of layers and endless variations, where people with their actions are hypertrophied more and more), and at the end of the season we watch another movie, probably shot for which- that's an early version of Streamberry.
@msChimotoma: And at the same time, the authors address us precisely as Netflix viewers who have been watching CHZ for many seasons in a row. They do this through the "look into the future" of the main character (as correctly stated above - a reference to the series "The story of your whole life") and, more importantly, through the sign on the amulet (a reference to the series "Polar Bear" and "Brandashmyg"). What was the plot of these episodes? The characters lost their personalities and their own will, becoming part of the audience's entertainment. At the same time, in the "White Bear" the crowd came up with a punishment for the murderer, depriving her of reason and understanding that everything around her was just a performance. And in "Brandashmyg", the viewer himself led the character from the philistine to the criminal or murderer. Both times, the character did not understand that he was being subjected to "outside interference" that was destroying his life (or he understood, but they did not believe him - like the main character from "Brandashmyg" was not believed when he told about the existence of Netflix). And yes, we see all the same "Polar Bear" signs on the neo-Nazi flags of the racist prime minister, they flash in the heroine's imagination along with the killing machines from Metalhead.
What conclusion can be drawn? Maybe they showed us another "Bandersnatch" where the audience became that demon, only this time we didn't choose anything. The viewer wanted action, and the heroine provided that action, making choice after choice at a fork in the road. Maybe those of her visions where she harmed her abusers were also alternate realities - offshoots where the heroine had broken into violence earlier (again, let's recall the versions in "Brandashmyg").
@msChimotoma: Is it worth looking for a moral in this series? I don't think so. This is not a story about violence being a bad thing. It's not a story about being white being bad and being colored being good. Rather, this is another story about how the viewer was neglected to watch a story about violence, where the character is full of frustration (just like the viewer himself) and cannot decide on any step to change his life without outside interference, and in the end everything explodes. The meaning here is about the same as in Tarantino's Inglourious Basterds: the director does not encourage either the Nazis or those who kill the Nazis, but he exposes the audience who crave violence on the screen - just as the burned Nazis are mesmerized by the exploits of their soldiers inside the same movie.
The same thought runs through the second episode ("Loch Henry") and the fourth ("Maisie Day"), so perhaps it can be considered the leitmotif of the season. In a sense, the astronaut series also talked about the destruction of people's lives due to too much attention: if ordinary people didn't have the desire to stare at robot astronauts and "poke them with a stick", ignoring borders and privacy, the rest of the tragedy would not have happened.
Was it worth spending so many resources to remove such a meta comment? A controversial issue. But personally, I liked season 6 more or less (except, probably, "Maisie Day", but the shooting is good there). Yes, this is not the old CZ that we loved initially. But considering the time that has passed since the first season, it would probably be quite boring to shoot about the same thing. As an experimental season, this season is very good, and I would definitely watch the first episode again later.
@msChimotoma: And, by the way, another argument in favor of the theory of "cinema within cinema" is the presence in the visions of the heroine of that metalhead from the series of the same name. From the "Bandashmyg" series, we know that inside the CZ Universe, metalhead is also a character in a movie, such a typical horror with the same overpowering harsh music and black-and-white shooting. And what did the viewer see at the end of the episode "Metalhead"? A box of polar bears.
So it is likely that within the cinematic universe existing inside the CZ, all these plots are really connected.
On the "two". In general, the season is weaker than all the previous ones, in my opinion. I wanted more digital technologies and a future. "Black Mirror" is not the same anymore ... Waiting for the 7th season 🤷🏻♀️
@MilkySkin: you should probably watch, for example, The Worlds of Phillippe Dick, if you want to see interesting Sci-Fi that makes you think about something, then you expect something from the series that it has never been. It was never a series about the future. Yes, many episodes took place in the future, including the dystopian one, many times, as the scriptwriters flirted with the science fiction genre very often, but nevertheless the series had no genre restrictions until you invented them. The debut episode of the entire series was a social satire that has nothing to do with fiction at all, I wonder at what stage you came up with rules for the scriptwriters, if they did not exist from the very first episode.
The story of how a kind Indian-Englishwoman slaughters terrible whites and gets away from the apocalypse with an African-American man. Guess who arranged it?
@Xopc: those who despise cave savages who profess the idea of a superior race, even living in a time of incredible technological progress? Do you know any of them, by any chance?
Overall, I liked the season, but episodes 4 and 5 are more the Twilight Zone than the CHZ, but the first three are great. Yes, and the last episode is also good, but for some reason it doesn't fit with my CHZ.
Surprisingly, in 1978, B. Farrell became very famous for performing the song Rasputin (the one that plays in the series) from the album Nightflight to Venus, where he portrayed Grigory Rasputin, it is reliably known that they both died on the same day, in the same city, and moreover — at points located next door (hotel The Ambassador is located between the Yusupov Garden and the Yusupov Palace), and I'm watching this series very close to these places in St. Petersburg, too. 😁
Unfortunately, the miracle did not happen. Of the entire season, only the first episode in the spirit of Black Mirror, the rest seemed to be shot as separate films
Well, it's not very interesting. Gaap's charisma amused me at first, but then the character (or actor) seemed to run out of steam. It could have been taken off too short, it was too tight.
I watched the season and, to be honest, I don't understand the indignation of the scriptwriters there - well, they've been filming such a hack in the last few years! It would seem that black mirror is the standard of cool stories, the sketches should be original, exciting, with a "second bottom" and cool twists - but here it's like Jordan Peele has been doing all season. There is a specific dislike for the season and the scriptwriters, they generally have to pay extra for such "deep stories" to film studios and viewers.
@bogdansky9000: Which script of "CZ" was the original? Who reveals the real story of what happened to the British prime minister? Maybe a story about robots autonomously hunting humans in a dystopian future? Well, it's not like it's been a cliche since the 53rd year of the last century, when Robert Sheckley wrote his "Watchbird". Maybe the story about overprotective is original? Or is it the one where a person who has been pushed to resist by the hopelessness of his situation is sold to those he hates for hard cash and fulfillment of desires? Well, yes, it's so original. You can write every story right into drama textbooks. I wish I had a mindset where even the dreary second-rate horror stories from the next "Twilight zone" seem like something original and new.
@AKhate: Before the advent of Netflix, CZ had no problems with original stories and sketches. And about the Prime Minister, too - a very good idea for a budget "domestic horror".
@bogdansky9000: The prime minister is a projection of a real story, when a rumor was spread about the former Prime minister of England that he had fucked a pig in college. There's nothing original about it.
@PlayerENO: indeed, there is zero original content, because every six months they shoot a series where they tell almost the same story about the British prime minister and a pig. I'll tell you a little secret - almost all plots are based on something, whether it's rumors, real stories, or even one-page stories, not to mention something more.
@raven_earl: The series has never been about technology, you've already made that up for yourself. The series was about people. That's why many people liked him so much that they saw themselves in him. In general, the authors used many genres, it's nice that they continue to explore the few remaining untouched genres, rather than focusing on those cliches that they themselves created. By the way, if you can tell me at least one technology that combines all the series, I'll agree with you. But you don't even understand that "technology" is not just one phenomenon, but a word combining fundamentally different mechanisms used for different purposes. In general, everything around us is technology or its product. Take the furniture in your house or the dye used to dye your hair. Everything at all. Even the absence of hair on your body is the influence of technology that makes our lives more comfortable. It's just a pity that technology can't make people smarter. Otherwise, this conversation would not have happened.
@PlayerENO: And why should I name the technology that unites all the series? Did I say somewhere that this is about a technology? I have the plural listed there, do you distinguish it from the singular? This is when there is not one, but many.
A long comment doesn't make you smarter, and neither does the tone of the message.
It's a great episode, the best of the season, though not exactly in the spirit of Black Mirror, but the finale is great, it lived up to expectations. Boney M Dancer is a very funny and original look for a demon.😀
What does this have to do with the black mirror? The whole season is dreary, I don't know, as if they are deliberately trying to make it worse and worse, more and more Hindus in the caste (
@Eglet_: It's funny that the series explores the problem of racism in society and you immediately write racist comments about it. This is the first time I've seen such a unique way to break the fourth wall.
The fourth and fifth episodes are absolutely not at the box office for "Black Mirror", but I liked this episode!) I thought until the last moment that there would be no apocalypse, I was surprised.
If you don't take the story of the demons literally, you can see the ideas of the joker or the taxi driver. As a loner, maybe mentally. A person who is not completely healthy breaks down in conditions of external instability on a global scale and a fierce environment locally .
I watched some kind of horror, but it's not even close to a black mirror, in general, I've been waiting for a complete disappointment. In the end, we have an indistinct season.
Mood: what was the 2,4,5 episode about? Give free rein to the scriptwriters to shoot individual series. Obviously, I wouldn't mind watching something like this as a separate project, but in a black mirror it's kind of weird.
@Captcha: I had friends who bled out of their noses defending these episodes that they were good. It's not a question of quality, it's a question of their relevance in a particular series. First of all, we've been waiting for the season since the 19th year, but this is not a year, not two. Secondly, it is obvious that Netflix itself has already lost the thread of the essence of the series. These episodes are more like an American horror story than a black mirror. I liked the second episode, as well as the fifth, but what was it for? Everything was mixed up, people, horses. The fourth and fifth ones seemed to have been lost from the supernatural series altogether. For the finale, it was necessary to shoot a series with god and a vampire, so that there would be a full ammunition supply.
@Hername: I don't understand why if the series isn't about technology, then it's not immediately appropriate in a black mirror. Since the first episode, this series has not been about technology, but about the problems of society, and has remained so in every episode.
@Captcha: I don't see any reference to the problems of society in the werewolf series especially. You can argue as much as you want, it won't change my mind. Your opinion may not be the only true one, so respect the opinion opposite to yours :)
@Hername: Well, they showed me how, instead of paying attention to the problem, people stupidly took pictures for the sake of the content, and if they had tried to understand even a little bit, they might have been able to save themselves. It's the same thing right now in the modern world, people in any incomprehensible situation, instead of acting, immediately take out a camera
I'm completely disappointed this season, I'm not happy about it, I've been waiting so long, I don't even know if it's worth waiting for the next season if they're just milking a cow that no longer has milk.
@et_zhannet: There is milk, but the topic is endless and very fertile. It's just that something revolutionary, exciting, socially provocative is no longer possible for the creators to do for some reason.
Unfortunately, this is the most disastrous season for me! The whole season didn't seem to be a black mirror (except, perhaps, for the episode about space, but everything was immediately clear there). A mixture of Twilight.Sagas. with children's cartoons. But where are the technologies? I will be waiting for the logical and themed next season.
By themselves, the series can make you think, if you think and dig, and we can conduct allegories. But that's not it, alas
@vk210800: I don't understand why people are so stupid, and they think black mirror = a TV series about technology, like, uh, black uh, mirror uh, means the phone screen uh, means only about technology uh. Since when, since the very first episode, this series is not about technology, but about problems in society.
@Captcha: Come give me a hug, friend. I'm tired of saying that the series is not about technology, but about people. Moreover, the series began with a plot that exaggerated the real-life story of the former British prime minister. And there were no smartphones in the first series, at least it should have hinted to people that the series is not about technology.
@vk210800: I've said everything based on the facts, if you think I'm wrong, then explain, and don't bluntly say that the series is not for a black mirror.
I enjoyed watching the whole season, but the last two episodes fall out of the main stated essence of the series, well, it would seem, what does mysticism have to do with it?
I liked the series, even though it wasn't in the spirit of the CHZ. It's a pity that the unique series has died, but maybe they will be able to enter into mysticism, although there are a lot of similar series, maybe they will bring something new to the genre.
I have an orgasm))) it's very nice to plunge back into the world of CHZ in this universe) in general, the season is undoubtedly better than the previous one, interesting episodes and context.. It 's a pity that there are only 5 episodes .
@ShaMarinka: the funniest thing for me is that you yourself constantly write about the "Twilight Zone", that is, you see absolutely no difference (there really is none, the exact same cabbage patch is often heavy and slightly less often interesting stories written by different authors) TV series, except smartphones.
Quite a passable series. There are some real stories when murderers believed in their destiny. I thought it would be tied up somehow, like how society, cheating in news and media culture makes people crazy. And it turned out to be absolutely nothing, not to mention that it's not even a Black Mirror. And the season of norms, especially the first 3 episodes, was interesting.
@Comedya: She was abandoned by the nationalists, who looked at her the night before. The problem of racism is directly familiar to the main character, who was treated differently because of her skin color. Well, that is, the agtopian future concerned her in the first place.
It's a very strange series. The bottom line is that the heroine's sanity proves only that Gaab told the truth about the father and the girl. Because of this, there is no open ending, but there is an uncharacteristic magic.
But if gg could have found out about the girl earlier, then everything is working out.: Anxiety due to news about nuclear weapons, loneliness, bullying at work and in society, hereditary problems. And as a climax, she was forced to eat in a dirty and dusty basement. At that moment, the suppressed feelings resulted in a schizo about Gaab and the need to kill three people. One can also assume that she herself did not count one guy, because he was a bystander, and not a "bad person." Gaab rationalized this excuse for her as that murderers don't count and it's necessary (possible) to kill another one.
Oh, it's a pity, such an open ending was ruined. It would be very appropriate here.
It's anything but a black mirror. For this format and the plot of the series, it was possible to create a new series, rather than mowing down the format of the old one. Yes, the series is cool, the shooting, the tracks, the style. But it's not a mirror, which is very disappointing.
Well, let the Hollywood scriptwriters continue to strike if they received money for SUCH feces...in principle, it is contraindicated for them to write something.
Only this episode is in the spirit of a black mirror, memorable and unexpected, and 1,2,3,4 I don't even remember what. I remember there was a werewolf somewhere, but that was it...
Well, that's why they're like that (There's a Twilight Zone, why another one? CZ had his own face and recognizable style, such a sincere combination of socialism and technophobia, in most of the episodes there was an inventive and unpredictable scenario. And this season, well, it's nice, but there's already a lot of it. Stylization for the sake of stylization, and the stories themselves are much weaker than those that were. Is that how they decided to expand the audience? Well, it's more likely that the one that exists will fall off after a season.
Kapets, what a sad style England of the 70s is. By the end, I was sick of 50 shades of yellow-brown. At first, you worry that gg was going to a politician too dramatically, otherwise you would have managed to kill him before the cop arrived, but then you remember all the personalities shown during the episode and you think that the outcome of the nuclear apocalypse is better than the ending with gg locked up for life in jail or in a nuthouse. I am especially happy for my colleague gg, let him burn, such a creature.
@Captcha: Why are you taking this so seriously? I watched it when there were already 4 seasons in a row. Naturally, it doesn't feel enough for me. but this is not a statement, but a quote from Masha from the MF Masha and the bear. Open the window, you weirdo.
Honestly, no matter what series I watch, it's Satanism and devilry everywhere, but before, CHZ had more interesting and exciting plots, without blackmail, but just with tin. It's the same with American Horror Story, there was something unique, and then there were just murders by the possessed.
@vc_bolvanka: I'm translating it. This means that the author of the commentary used to like the intensity of passions and pathos used in the series, but now he is already tired. He wants the same surprise effect and aftertaste that he had when he first watched the series. Because without the effect of surprise, he sees the primitiveness of the cliches used by the screenwriters to attract the mass audience.
@vk402511: man, you probably watch such series yourself, now there are series for every taste and color, with and without devilry. Before watching the series, see the description, for example, it usually says whether there are elements of fiction or not. Otherwise you'll shit all sorts of bullshit in the comments
The whole season is an anthology of medium-sized horror films. The last couple of episodes even have a right to exist, but what a sideways black mirror here...
And it is at that moment, when you really believe that the heroine has simply manifested her genetic inheritance of mental illness, the alarm sirens sound. I love "Black Mirror"!
I liked the new season of black mirror. I understand that this is no longer the kind of emergency where watching episodes is creepy and desolate, but the plots are still very interesting.
The previous season was a failure. We've been waiting for this one for so many years, how many different ideas could be revealed. But alas. The season is just like an amateur. Personally, I'm disappointed. In general, it's even a pity for the time spent. I only liked the 3rd episode more or less, but that's not the same, of course. If this was the first season, I wouldn't have looked any further. The creators have moved too far away from the theme of the series. And it's sad. I will not lower the 5-point rating I set earlier, for me the series ended on season 4. It's a pity that it's just for me.
I liked the season and did not disappoint. Atmospheric. The fourth episode is great for Horror or TV series of a similar theme. The ending and the message of the second episode are creepy. It's true that people are too caught up in stories about maniacs, and they don't think, they don't look at the world and the situation from the point of view of their victims. My favorite episode is the third. They all have a great cast. In general, I am satisfied.
To be honest, I didn't like the season, not at all.
The first episode was still nothing, and the rest were not about black mirror at all.
And no, I'm not saying that the episodes were bad, I'm saying that when you sit down to watch this series, you expect a certain concept, and this time we just got random sketches. That's why it upset me.
@PetrovRuska: We've probably watched some different TV shows with you. You're a series about digital technology, and I'm a series about people. By the way, there was no digital future in the title sequence of the entire series, it is generally based on the true story of what happened to the former Prime Minister of Great Britain, James Cameroon.
Black Mirror is a British science fiction anthology television series created by Charlie Brooker. The leitmotif of the series is the influence of information technology on human relationships.
Apparently, you and I are really watching different TV series)
When the demon called hellish tech support and was told that the victim was not counted there, I thought: what? Is the bureaucracy in hell?) And then she was like, oh, yeah, of course. Where else would she be, she came straight from there to Earth :D
The black mirror that we loved was lost after the Firebrand. Already in season 5, everything became very sad, and the best was the least "technological" episode, where Andrew Scott played like a God. And this episode was the closest thing to the horrors of technological development. And so the whole season 6 shows us some kind of crap, like we're watching the Twilight Zone here. Mystique, a detective who is not a detective. The film adaptation of Ray Bradbury's novels. What the h??? Only the first episode was more or less close to what can be called a classic emergency, if the diarrhea scene hadn't happened... She took a shit... why? for what? And why is everyone so excited about the finale of the latest episode, as if it were a happy ending. The world burned down in the fire of a nuclear catastrophe. And he and the demon went off into the sunset. But everyone gets high) What did you want to say with this series in general? the whole ending? The most technologically advanced in this series is a device for measuring foot size) And at such a time, in the current circumstances, to shoot an episode where it is clearly hinted that Russia will destroy the whole world. Well, it's clear why it was filmed then... it's a good series, mostly, but it's not a CHZ. People will say that it wasn't always about the future in the CHZ, and who said that this determines the composition of the series. And I'll tell you what defines it. And yet how. It's nonsense, fans love the series exactly for what it is. It's like we're watching 6 seasons of Dr. House, and suddenly at 7 he travels back in time to Victorian England and starts having an affair with Jane Austen, while simultaneously trying to find a portrait of Dorian Gray
@BuHT16K20: what makes me laugh the most is "the main idea of the series was stolen from us", despite the fact that the title episode of the entire series did not touch on digital technology even in passing. If you want to watch science fiction with deep connotations, try at least The Worlds of Phillippe Dick. It's also a series about people, not smartphones. And it's funny about the subpoena. Russia is really threatening to destroy the whole world right now, lol. Moreover, we are talking about the statements of the top officials of the state. Although the series is not about this at all, you have already developed some paranoid complexes.
@AKhate: Yes, yes, yes, keep me informed. The main episode did not affect him. The point of the series was precisely that people were so waiting for the pig fucking broadcast that no one paid attention to the unfortunate girl wandering down the street. It's clear that the same people who write this about the first episode watched the series with their ass, but I'll remind you what the point was. Television and Internet broadcasts of that event were a MIRACLE! digital technologies. Guess what? That's progress. It is precisely the fact that the majority of people have become hostages to the spectacle and the satisfaction of primitive desires through the technology closest to us. Not about future technologies, which were developed in ideas in the series, but in what is now. And to write that "the title sequence of the entire series did not touch on digital technology even in passing." well, it's just to show that not only do you remember the series poorly, but you also did not grasp the essence. And about the agenda, not being able to add 2 + 2, in our time... sadly
It's a mystery to me why this series has such a low rating. Yes, it doesn't look like a black mirror at all, but at the same time it's super atmospheric in itself, with an interesting plot, sometimes funny, and I was really pleased with the music. And this demon is just wow!!! I liked episodes 1 and 5 the most in the season.
I have 1-2 favorite episodes in each season, which I review from time to time. Sometimes there were 4 of them. This time, so far, only the fifth episode has sunk into my soul, but I haven't watched 3 and 4 yet) The fire series is simple, I'm just surprised at the number of its haters. Although this is the fifth season, everyone has been tired of the series for a long time, and people continue to demand the same "wow effect" from it. I'm also disappointed that for many it's a "series about technology" and not about people, which it really is.
But I like both the season and the episode. No matter how atypical the 2, 4 and 5 series may be, there are "black mirrors" there too. Yes, not in the future, but in the past, but the topic of their influence on people has also been revealed. Well, it's "funny": episode 5 highlights the problem of racism, and the comments on it confirm that the problem is still very relevant)
@Captcha: Where the main character is watching TV for about 7 minutes, they speak for the USSR, and where a man is sitting on the toilet with a newspaper, then Russia is there, that's my question.
This is the worst season of the CHZ. If someone didn't like the first one, then personally I have a lot of interesting episodes there. 3-4 is generally awesome, but this one...it is clear that the British have taken up the matter again - a nuisance. This is my opinion.
I will support many commentators, the series are cool, but it's not about the CZ. We will look at mysticism in other series as well. Most of them are disappointed.
The season is somehow very different from the previous ones. It was probably worth highlighting in something separate, some kind of Red Mirror (at the beginning of the series, by the way, it flashed by).
As a separate cruel romantic story, it's not bad and even curious. As an episode of CHZ, another failure.. what kind of technology, yes, and how society destroys itself, when you can throw in another mystical series with a love happy ending and about Marvel humor? 🤥😋👍🤝
The Black Mirror is no longer a Black Mirror literally. The whole season is like cutting plots unrelated to the original idea (technology in the world). What kind of demons are like from the Supernatural? I already forgot that I was meticulous about this series a year ago. Seasons 1-4 are still OK, Brandashmyg is too. But then seasons 5 and 6 are like an attempt to regain their former success. The endings are also predictable for those who have been a little bit interested in fiction before.
@O_Lisova: At the beginning of the series, the Red Mirror was written. I've heard that there's a spin-off of Black Mirror in the idea, but about all sorts of mysticism.
It was interesting, but not quite like a black mirror) And the whole season was basically different from the rest and was different, with a different atmosphere, it turned out even a little worse (
it's funny to see how with each new season people complain that Brooker is full, the season is the worst of all (I don't really see the point in judging the anthology by seasons, for me there are weak episodes and strong episodes, interesting and not so interesting, in each of the seasons, starting with the first), but they wait to watch and wait for the next one).
I liked the series. from 2025, with an obvious right turn, after the American and German elections, anti-migrant rhetoric from every iron and ritual waving of the red button at every convenient and not so convenient occasion - in general, a candy, although with a quinine flavor - and as well as the fact that Brooker does not follow the expectations of the audience and He writes what he sees fit.
it will be interesting to see where else the track turns in the new season.
And I liked it! There are King's vibes, Death Notebooks (Ryuk, hello!), and the supernatural. Well, yes, it doesn't look like an ordinary emergency in his understanding, but it often happens when the creator decides to change direction a little.
I don't care if this episode looks like black mirror or not, but I just got hung up on it, starting with "red mirror")) Liked it the most out of the whole season))
I've been putting off this season for a long time because I've heard that it's "not like that," and now I've finally looked at it — and yes, it's really different. From the very beginning, it is felt that they have moved away from their usual style of "technology is killing us tomorrow", and have gone more into mystical horror and psychological stories. And, to be honest, it went over my head, but in some places it felt like I was watching a completely different series.
At the same time, season 6 still leaves behind this vile but honest feeling that we are to blame for where the world is heading, even if technology is no longer the main villain here. This is no longer about gadgets, but about human nature under the pressure of new realities.
I wouldn't say the season is bad — it's just different, and it's OK if you don't wait for the classic "Black Mirror." If you just want to watch smart stories with good quality footage and an atmosphere of anxiety, he'll come in. But if you want a technological nightmare of the "San Junipero" or "White Christmas" level, then it's better to review the old seasons.
this episode doesn't fit in with the concept of a mirror as much as possible, lol, but it turned out to be very cool. the previous episode also didn't seem to have much of the right vibes and, in my opinion, came out as the weakest of the season, but the season itself went straight to me, the last time I liked it so much, only the third one.
It seems to me that GG just went crazy - at the beginning of the episode, it was just shown that she was reading a book about visualization. Against the background of the general hysteria about the atomic war and violence against immigrants, her unstable psyche, inherited from her mother, painted her a demon who offered to kill everyone, while the demon looked like a man from a TV (albeit famous, but still a frame from the screen). The fact that she saw the "future" and even "found out the girl's name" can also be explained by imagination. In the finale, the domino is a glimpse of the real world. Faced with the harsh reality, GG's brain painted a picture of the apocalypse and the fact that a demon was coming for her and creating her personal happy ending. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if she's just being taken to a mental hospital at this moment.
At least, with this interpretation of the plot, the series is very suitable for the theme of Black Mirror (technically, it was the TV that drove G. crazy, with its cruel news and other panic, intertwined with popular people from the stage). Otherwise, the series is still cool, but something from the fantasy genre, not tragedies from new technologies =)
And I thought that the demon had cheated on the ward, and it was only he who needed to complete the task, but there would be no apocalypse if lon did not complete it, that is, it would be bad only for him.
Ahhh, the dumbest series possible, there is nothing but a political agenda, and in the end it turns out that both the demon is good and the migrant who kills people is good and did everything right, because these people are bad and the apocalypse is real, of course it can be stopped by killing three random people ahahahahh

Discussion: Season 6, Episode 5 Join the Discussion
516Если конечно это не толстый трольный разгон, то тут можно обратиться хотя бы к исходному смыслу названия:
https://screenrant.com/black-mirror-show-title-meaning-explained :
The Netflix original series Black Mirror, created by Charlie Brooker, was named after the ominous reflection that peers back at an individual from a blank screen
https://ru.wikipedia.org/wiki/Чёрное_зеркало_(телесериал) :
Лейтмотив сериала — влияние информационных технологий на человеческие отношения и свзанной с этим технофобии.
The keyword is a reference, it doesn't mean that the series should strictly adhere to technology.
And by the way, is the nuclear apocalypse a kind of happy ending?)) Well, this...
We were shown a happy ending in a scripted and dramatic way
In principle, the season is not as draining as with Miley Cyrus, only the fourth series is stupid.
PS: I always knew that Bonnie M music is from the devil
Sorry 😀
in the beginning, the name was "black mirror", and then changed to "red mirror"
Speaking to Radio Times, creator Charlie Brooker explained, "Demon 79 begins with a sequence of headlines, "Red Mirror Presents," labeling it as "distinct from, but adjacent to, Black Mirror." This is due to the fact that "Black Mirror" tends to focus on technical dystopias or media satire, whereas in this story there is a stronger supernatural element that takes us back to the horrors of the 1970s. The episode almost defies classification."
For anyone who forgot the official description of the CZ, here it is from IMDB:
"Set in a world only minutes from our own, "Black Mirror", a UK and USA non-hosted anthology series; reveals how modern technologies can backfire and be used against their makers, every episode set in a slightly different reality with different characters combating different types of technologies."
Key points of the description:
- the near future (world only minutes from our own) - 3 episodes out of 5 this season about the past, 1 about the present.
The first episode was excellent, the second indirectly about the inside of the documentary, the third with a stretch and here are 4 and 5 purely from mysticism. And the name already has a sonorous one, if the creators want to shoot more mysticism - the red mirror :)
As it is, I completely agree, it gets out.
Otherwise, a review from the CBU will be released after a while, which will put everything on the shelves and blow up the brain.
In general, this season seems to be divorced from the main canon of chernogozerkal
It's been a good season, I've mostly enjoyed it.
It's a pity that there are so few episodes in the season.
Ps. Boney M. He fit in very well
It's not a bad episode, in my rating of the season it's in 2nd place after the first, I think that in the future I'll only review them) We started the season for health, then we almost reached complete rest with the werewolves, but in the end we finished anyway, no matter how ironic it was with regard to the ending of the episode, also for health)
Nada is just a big mood, you start to empathize with her from the very beginning, Gaad is just a top, show me where to find this damn house to summon him! Boney Em fit in perfectly, and anyway the whole soundtrack of the series is great :)
I didn't have any hopes for the season, I didn't even watch the trailers. 2 excellent episodes, 2 more or less watchable and 1 failed - overall a good result. For me, CHZ reached its peak on seasons 3 and 4, I don't think they'll ever surpass them.
- no, everything will be much worse, I will be there too
Do you admire the ending? Are you happy that the heroine decided to stay with a demon in the eternal abyss ... who, at a click, can fool anyone, turn into any character, change a person's perception, inspire anything, become a "shirt guy"?)
Flirting with darkness and jokes on this topic do not lead to good.
The rest of this season's episodes are really cool, this one is a gray horse, but I just wanted to write a comment on it)
In fact, if the creators don't take out some kind of piano out of the bushes after this incomprehensible five-episode episode, then for me personally, with all my great love, this is the most disastrous season.
She's a great girl, I remember her from Killing Eve, where she also played a murderer.
Overall, the season is not bad, there is something to think about, it was interesting to watch the episodes, although some questions remained. 5 sweeps out of 10
I wouldn't mind if there were only two episodes in this season, but the most canonical ones for the series. "Demon 79" and "Mazey Day" could have been completely filmed in an independent project without reference to the "Black Mirror", and "Loch Henry" turned out to be a good thriller worthy of an independent feature film, but all these series do not correspond at all to the usual canons and themes.
In general, considering that already in the fifth season the series had problems and it was frozen for a long time, that is, I have every reason to believe that the audience will not appreciate Brooker's performances in the sixth season and the title will most likely be closed.
https://fox-guide.ru/poklonenie-diavoly-lirika-sema-smita-balensiagi-v-unholy-podverglas-kritike-v-seti/
I just didn't understand why there was some kind of "Black Mirror" on the screensaver? After all, "Black Mirror" is a series about technology.
We believe in the best in general.
But I liked it anyway
This aesthetics of the 80s.
And the girl is super awesome!
And I thought that the previous episode was from someone else's setting, but the scriptwriters of the CW managed the impossible - to surpass the absurdity of the scriptwriters of The CW. Should I go over and reconsider?
They didn't show it. if the series is "tired" and wants to change the paradigm a little, it seems to me that it would be much more humane to close it and implement these new ideas under a different name. but again, we have a choice: to watch or not to watch. and the rest is all lyrics.
Sorry.
The last two episodes... How did they get here? It was like they needed the last two episodes and they shot what they had, which they couldn't turn into either a movie or a TV series.
But it's much better than season 5.
That's how I saw it personally. But despite the unusual performance for the series, the episode turned out to be interesting) I don't understand the low rating in myshows
I think nothing will be worse than "Maisie Day"))
But there's a feeling of disappointed expectations, as if you come to kfc for fried chicken, and suddenly there are only vegetable salads on the menu. And you seem to like salads too, but that's not why you came here at all.
In general, if I wanted to watch trukraim or fiction about demons and werewolves, I would have looked at something other than the black mirror.
But if we talk about the season as a whole, it is the weakest of all the previous ones, it is a pity :(
It's not for nothing that we were shown her violent fantasies even before meeting the demon, how she strangled a man and hit her partner against the window?
Did you combine images and news from the TV + articles in the basement + the influence of a hostile environment?
Is there such a theory? Plus, her pupils were like in episode 3 of season 1 (the episode about the chip implanted behind the ear that records everything a person sees)
Where is the Black Mirror, actually?
Hindus are taken to the cinema so that it sells better in India. Just like they take Chinese people to the cinema so that it sells better in China. In my opinion, there are still some local benefits for filmmakers because of this.
And black leaves the bubble not to "unknown safe places", but, as far as I remember, into oblivion, which does not sound very positive. Perhaps a fate worse than death.
"And the black one leaves the bubble not to "unknown safe places", but, as far as I remember, into oblivion, which does not sound very positive. Perhaps a fate worse than death."
The face of Downey Jr. мем.јрд
The reference to White Christmas is unclear...It was about something else, lol.
People: OK, normal
Some films began to be shot with people of color, well, or with strong women, etc. (including because such people also exist - that's a twist, isn't it?)
White men: aaaaaa agenda!!!!11
Ahahaha😆
Again, how could she have predicted her father's f**k? Again, just a coincidence? Are there too many of them in this episode?
Well, in general, the season was disappointing, and against this background, I will be happy to review season 5.
// I'm not drowning for the idea that she had it all in her head, but your claim is also illogical.
England was not turned into atomic ashes in 1979, and the poor girl is now sitting in an almshouse with soft walls and smiling happily.
Joan is awesome - probably the best episode of the whole season
Loch Henry is an unexpected fact, a bell of what to expect in the season in principle. As a hermetic detective, she is very good, but a little different from the "Black Mirror" that everyone is used to.
Beyond the Sea - it seems to be good, but the painfully forced logic of the world. "I don't believe it."
Mazey Day is generally full of bullshit, it's unclear how it turned out to be in the anthology. The writers' strike probably had an impact.
Demon 79 - again very good, and again not at all the usual CHZ.
Can I have a friend like that? I even have murder candidates. 👉👈
And the demon is a darling
Episode 1 - we learned that Johnny Depp will be suing Salma Hayek in an alternate reality
Episode 2 is an ordinary truecrame that has nothing to do with the BM universe
. Episode 3 is Yessss, bitch! Science! The episode itself, as far as I'm concerned, is extremely boring and readable
Episode 4 - Chhh, is stryga addicted to high tech??? By the way, one of the most ridiculous plot twists that I've seen in my life
in Episode 5 is that there's a Weekend missing who starred in an Idol, not this one, where the role of a demon was written right for him.
Although there is even more game and even less canon, the final episode was amazing for its design and ingenuity))) Even in a sense, the ending for GG is a happy ending...
and the subject is a failure, as it was said in one famous movie.
It's a pity that this season was filmed more about the 20th century and the past in general than about at least some future, distant or not.
Where's the technology here? In rune, or when the Negro called his fellow demons on a disk phone?
But I did not understand the morality of such a denouement. Just like that. The demon was telling the truth.
Why did the pancake demon even have the task of preventing the apocalypse? He didn't even want to approve the murder of the future dictator - the authorities in hell wouldn't like that such a bad guy would leave early without having done a lot of villainy (by the way, the authors had a chance to put the action in Germany and, according to the classics, give GG a chance to kill Hitler :)
At least, in my opinion, it would be more logical to let GG kill the third one and then it would turn out that the demon is a trickster and he needed this to start the apocalypse. Tricking an innocent girl into killing, thereby proving that no one deserves to be saved, and burning them all.
Of course, for me, this does not justify the presence of werewolves and demons in the CHZ, but I really liked this series. (And I still want to erase the previous one from my memory)
Great Boney M demon
Beautiful color pattern and shooting style
It's quite an interesting story
The best episode of the worst season
But of course it's not a CHZ...
We were pleased with the appearance of such actors as Salma Hayek, Michael Cera, Josh Hartnett and Aaron Paul.
https://www.theguardian.com/technology/2011/dec/01/charlie-brooker-dark-side-gadget-addiction-black-mirror
А вот интервью перед последним сезоном:
https://archive.ph/xNCUa#selection-2163.97-2163.296
I didn’t want to be just hitting the same premises over and over again. Like, ‘What if this app ruined your life?’ Or, ‘Oh look! It turns out you’re in virtual reality.’ So there was a slight reset.
Или другое:
https://www.gamesradar.com/black-mirror-season-6-charlie-brooker-jessica-rhoades-interview/
So it is likely that within the cinematic universe existing inside the CZ, all these plots are really connected.
There is a specific dislike for the season and the scriptwriters, they generally have to pay extra for such "deep stories" to film studios and viewers.
I wish I had a mindset where even the dreary second-rate horror stories from the next "Twilight zone" seem like something original and new.
I'll tell you a little secret - almost all plots are based on something, whether it's rumors, real stories, or even one-page stories, not to mention something more.
A long comment doesn't make you smarter, and neither does the tone of the message.
And the season of norms, especially the first 3 episodes, was interesting.
But you can also watch other films with him, the actor's name is Sean Dooley.
But if gg could have found out about the girl earlier, then everything is working out.:
Anxiety due to news about nuclear weapons, loneliness, bullying at work and in society, hereditary problems.
Well, let the Hollywood scriptwriters continue to strike if they received money for SUCH feces...in principle, it is contraindicated for them to write something.
The first episode was still nothing, and the rest were not about black mirror at all.
And no, I'm not saying that the episodes were bad, I'm saying that when you sit down to watch this series, you expect a certain concept, and this time we just got random sketches.
That's why it upset me.
After the masterpiece of the past, somehow by(
By the way, there was no digital future in the title sequence of the entire series, it is generally based on the true story of what happened to the former Prime Minister of Great Britain, James Cameroon.
Apparently, you and I are really watching different TV series)
Where else would she be, she came straight from there to Earth :D
But everyone gets high)
What did you want to say with this series in general? the whole ending? The most technologically advanced in this series is a device for measuring foot size)
And at such a time, in the current circumstances, to shoot an episode where it is clearly hinted that Russia will destroy the whole world.
And it's funny about the subpoena. Russia is really threatening to destroy the whole world right now, lol. Moreover, we are talking about the statements of the top officials of the state. Although the series is not about this at all, you have already developed some paranoid complexes.
And about the agenda, not being able to add 2 + 2, in our time... sadly
The fire series is simple, I'm just surprised at the number of its haters. Although this is the fifth season, everyone has been tired of the series for a long time, and people continue to demand the same "wow effect" from it.
I'm also disappointed that for many it's a "series about technology" and not about people, which it really is.
Well, it's "funny": episode 5 highlights the problem of racism, and the comments on it confirm that the problem is still very relevant)
If someone didn't like the first one, then personally I have a lot of interesting episodes there. 3-4 is generally awesome, but this one...it is clear that the British have taken up the matter again - a nuisance.
This is my opinion.
Now we have not only werewolves, but also demons ...
The season is somehow very different from the previous ones. It was probably worth highlighting in something separate, some kind of Red Mirror (at the beginning of the series, by the way, it flashed by).
Seasons 1-4 are still OK, Brandashmyg is too. But then seasons 5 and 6 are like an attempt to regain their former success. The endings are also predictable for those who have been a little bit interested in fiction before.
Oh, vooooh, what: 0
Thank you, I haven't even heard this fact
And the whole season was basically different from the rest and was different, with a different atmosphere, it turned out even a little worse (
I liked the series. from 2025, with an obvious right turn, after the American and German elections, anti-migrant rhetoric from every iron and ritual waving of the red button at every convenient and not so convenient occasion - in general, a candy, although with a quinine flavor - and as well as the fact that Brooker does not follow the expectations of the audience and He writes what he sees fit.
it will be interesting to see where else the track turns in the new season.
Liked it the most out of the whole season))
, it fits perfectly, but as a separate film
At the same time, season 6 still leaves behind this vile but honest feeling that we are to blame for where the world is heading, even if technology is no longer the main villain here. This is no longer about gadgets, but about human nature under the pressure of new realities.
I wouldn't say the season is bad — it's just different, and it's OK if you don't wait for the classic "Black Mirror." If you just want to watch smart stories with good quality footage and an atmosphere of anxiety, he'll come in. But if you want a technological nightmare of the "San Junipero" or "White Christmas" level, then it's better to review the old seasons.
Overall, the season is good, just not brilliant.
