@e0nn666: secondly (I assume that you live in Russia), who makes you ashamed of gender in Russia? Are the films American? If you are so impressionable, then I do not advise you to approach Russian content at all, even at the distance of a cannon shot.
Randy has been broadcasting these thoughts for 8 seasons already -- not so long ago he even turned into Karen, and literally just now I saw the finale of last season on comedy Central, where he says that blacks should not dress up as leprechauns because it is, they say, "cultural appropriation", but in fact, saying this, he he just wants more success for his grass business.
I think one of the thoughts here is that if you think critically, and do not agree with a fictional character, then it is impossible to make even residents of the United States "ashamed of gender", not to mention you and me on another continent. And the perception (and understanding) of the problem will also change, with the exception of some specific cases.
South Park has been doing this for 30 years, so I'm a little surprised that people still see specific characters in this light. Although I recently saw how Americans on YouTube readily agree with Randy on his speech about modern films after the first episode of this season, so you are far from the only one.
@nzj: in Russia, they even make you feel ashamed, only not of gender, but on the contrary of "inconsistency" with gender. If a kid doesn't have to dance, he has to play football or go to boxing, or "boys don't cry, come on, get it together", if a girl: "you're a girl, you have to be clean and tidy, but you look like a yard bully", and there are a lot of such stereotypes.
This was about it, Randy shamed the boys for being "not muscular and not having a good time," justifying this by saying that "they were made to be ashamed of their masculinity," but in fact the boys just liked the way they spent their time, and they didn't care what makes them do dad. So yes, in this regard, it's better not to watch Russian content - it's all the time there.
@m1stake: everyone already interprets as they please. There is an exact description of what liberalism is on the Internet. But no one is interested in this, of course.
@Doro: Everyone has long forgotten about the classical interpretation of 19th century liberalism and is not using it. In the USA, liberals are called social democrats, they are also called leftist. The far left is called a tankie. The term liberal is also painted in a negative color to us. They are called libtard, an analogue of our liberast.
Well, in general, classical liberalism is about economic freedoms, and then others began to grow there.
@e0nn666: well, if you look narrowly, then for quite objective reasons, stereotypes of behavior will be imposed by any society, they are imposed on us too, although of course others. in this series, indeed, it is said in plain text that they say you should not be ashamed, but on the other hand that you should not overdo it, one way or the other, and therefore Randy creates different game.
It seems like the season finale, but it turned out to be even the weakest episode of the season. Although the season is great overall, there were a lot of cool moments. It's a pity, after all, that 6 episodes per season, maybe it would be better to abandon the full-length ones, but return the standard number of episodes.
"Stone said in 2001, regarding his political views, "I hate conservatives, but I really fucking hate liberals." In 2006, Stone described himself as libertarian."
