I liked it, I wish more of these series were filmed.

Overall, it's not bad. But the outcome is predictable and boring. But the beginning is 3 episodes in one go, then on the roll.
I haven't read the book.

The ending surprised me with its sweetness

It's not a very bookish ending, but it's still cute.
