s02 special-3 — That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime the Movie: Scarlet Bond

It's a great movie. It's a very touching story. The atmosphere reminded me of the first season, when Rimuru just started meeting everyone. Hiro and Tova liked it, now another friendly state.
I thought that Hiro would revive Rimuru in the final, but I definitely did not expect THIS, such a swing with dying-revival, I could barely stand it. But that's exactly why it was cool!
Milim and Veldora had a great game.
And, of course, the star of everything is Diablo. Just the best. You never get tired of watching him do things.

For the first 15 minutes, you squint suspiciously at the screen, and check what is happening with the title. But then the usual characters spit in your face again.

Why did Queen Tovah name the rescued Hiro? She's not the queen of Guitars. 🎸

In the end, Hiro and Tova staged such a circus with resurrections. If one of them had leaned back, it would have made the ending better. And so - kindergarten.

I am especially happy for Diablo. Such a cool Persian deserves more screen time.

I certainly love happy ends, but this is too much.

A good plot for ordinary series, but IMHO does not fit for a full-length film, again they are harnessed for a long time with conversations, periodically throwing action at the viewer, which somehow does not matter, there were no particularly outstanding scenes, graphonium at the level of the series mostly. Sticking it in the screen for an hour and a half to listen to standard not too complicated dialogues about gold / iron mining, the queen's attempts to accumulate - why not put it in the series? 25 minutes would be digestible, the pace of the narrative and the issues are quite consistent with it. As a full meter it does not work. The twist with violet and her machinations is perhaps interesting, but it alone is not enough to pull out an hour and a half of long eyeliner. Again, as previous speakers correctly noted, endless dying-resurrections give the effect of the Supernatural, hopelessly devaluing the mortality of characters and reducing the intensity of emotions (if your degree of viewing is slightly lower and the perception is fresher, then you are lucky and you will get into it, but if you have already seen at least a couple of works with with such a feint with the ears, it can also cause irritation).
In general, a strong middle-class man who got into the wrong format.

The ending is complete nonsense. GG could create a shell of the body with great power, collect the fragments of the soul and pour it into the body, but here he did not even do that. In short, for the sake of the plot, they made a feint with their ears. I'm disappointed.
