doesn't seem to spoil the impression, fortunately, but it is noticeable that the original source was larger in size for the first season

@Rudd: in fact, the second season is a kind of collection of stories about the various adventures of Aziraphale and Crowley during their life on Earth, slightly united by a common plot about the disappearance of Gabriel. A collection of short stories instead of a novel, to use a literary analogy.
And indeed, this series does not get any worse.

Aziraphale and Crowley are too cute for their own good! I just can't! The whole second season I sit and just smile. It's so heartwarming, sweet and cozy! These angel and demon brought me so much warmth today! And the way Crowley cares so sweetly about Aziraphale that he didn't even say at first that the angel is terrible at magic tricks. I didn't know I needed the second season, but I needed it!

this episode is the first in the new season where I really felt the spirit of the first season and the book and which caused the same emotions in me. before that, three episodes felt like I was watching a film adaptation of bad fan fiction with some glimpses of the canon. the script is amazing, the dialogues are perfect, the jokes are funny, the flashback can just be shown separately in the cinema. it was only in this series that I really felt that flashbacks were written by other people, and not by Neil. Of course, I really want to keep this feeling until the end of the season

The idea of Nazi zombies is cute, but in general the series seemed to be passing and not affecting the main plot. The story with Gabriel in the first series seemed intriguing, but now there is a feeling that Gaiman can fill up this line.

такое ощущение складывается, что второй сезон как-то… пустоват, чтоли, по сравнению с первым. динамика персонажей все такая же отличная, Кроули и Азирафаэль просто чудесные, но сюжета маловато. и персонажей мало, и из-за этого меньше сюжетных линий, и все как-то тянется. потому что тут вроде серии чуточку покороче, чем в 1 сезоне, но в 1 сезоне очень много сюжетных линий на более менее такой же хронометраж. эх

Сценарий прямо сильно страдает в сравнении с первым сезоном, поэтому истории размазаны, как пластилин по обеденному столу. Нилу удалось сохранить дух, но бог сюжета в этой паре, видимо, Терри.

Кстати, стоило сменить дубляж на субтитры, и смотреть стало намного приятнее.

А никто не обратил внимание на сцену в аду, когда только показали регистраторов? Миранда Ричардсон, что снималась и в первом сезоне, снималась и в "Сонной лощине". А её "товарищ" подозрительно напоминает Кристофера Уокена, который снимался там же
