this is the 0 episode of the 1st season - a trial episode of "etude". They are a little younger here, less polished, but this does not detract from either their charm or interest in the plot, because it is told here in a different way
- Sherlock, what have you done to my house? - there's nothing wrong with the house, Mrs. Hudson, except for the dead serial killer on the second floor. Good news for London - Bad news for your rug
and when did he come out? they're just too young.. it's like 5 years before the release of the series itself, despite the fact that all the actors are exactly the same ....
@mois_ilya: it was filmed before the first episode, this is the pilot that the creators of the series filmed for the bosses of the TV channel, they watch and then decide whether to launch the series or not. It was filmed about six months or a year before the first episode
It's good, after all, that the whole pilot was reshot. It is unlikely that in this form the series would have gained worldwide fame and become a phenomenon.
@neil_whale: It's a pity that this scene wasn't included in the first episode. It looks much more like the truth and real human ingenuity than chasing with GPS in your head.
Here I read the reviews published above ... different.... I reviewed the 0th and 1st series two or three times. And I always watched them together and in a row. I have never met such a paradox again- two identical plot lines with such different ones... everyone! Everything is different. It seems to me that the "dampness" of the first series is so reflected in the characters. And it's not about the quality of the dialogues. The characters themselves on the screen seem to be younger and look less experienced.... as if yesterday "came out from behind the desk")) After watching this 0 and 1 episodes, every time I see not only excellent acting work, but also the work of the writers and director! Everyone, the whole team of the series "grew up" between the 0th and 1st series! Of course, I like the first series more than the pilot, but for me personally, the pilot and the 1st series are like twin brothers, because there is something in both series that I like more than in the other.
Cool. I like the first half of the series in the TV version, maybe because everything in the pilot is somehow hasty and messy, but the second half went more here, or is it more harmonious
Serbin's translation says "The investigation is led by a senior detective, Inspector Lestrade," whereas the original article says "The main investigator is Inspector Lestrade" early 30s (early 30s) - almost 40 Serbin: "To kill from such a distance...", original: "a clean shot to the heart"
It is interesting to look at the differences from the final version. What is interesting is that there seems to be less music here, whereas in the finale it became an indispensable part. So the straight brother was conceived from the very beginning as a lesbian sister? It's interesting that Sherlock is wearing a police jumpsuit here. I don't remember - it didn't seem to say about the weight of the victim in pink in the final version, right? IMHO, it was necessary to leave the rain in the final version - otherwise, in dry London, the collar got wet, and the police did not notice About the temporary concealment of a new corpse, too, it did not seem to be in the final version. "We're looking for a psychopath." "Is that why we called another psychopath?" - It seems that this was carved by Sherlock on the roof, like a vampire It's funny, but the incoming call number looks like an ordinary Armenian mobile number. There is no music in places, in places it is unusually different... IMHO this Angelo looks better... "Old ladies are better than the police" - straight from Eastern Europe, Well, you can't help but remember another resident of England - old Miss Marple, who was also quite observant. They quickly guessed about the taxi here, they openly say that Sherlock used drugs, but quit. In the final version, there is only a hint and it is unclear whether it is still in use. The dream talk was good.
Due to the increased timekeeping, we had to add something else, lengthen the scenes, add new plots. And although we all loved the final version with on-screen lyrics and familiar music, this version has its advantages. That's probably why they ordered a new one, and did not close the project.
