It is so rare to make series based on books, most often they take part of books, many moments are not included in the plot, but this series perfectly conveyed the book by Mona Kasten. I read the entire series of books 3 years ago, while I was watching, I remembered all the moments, dialogues, experiences exactly the same as from books, which is rare, the cast is super, the actors play at the highest level, the ending touched me, I will hope for 2 more seasons
And how many books? And tell me, please, did the series end with her returning, did they immediately go to Oxford or will they go next year, it was just unclear?
If memory is correct, then the cycle consists of three books. And after returning from Oxford, they did not immediately enroll, but waited for a letter from them confirming their admission
@a1382748: 3 books : 1.Save me, 2.Save yourself, 3.Save us, the series ended with the fact that they were interviewed at Oxford and returned home, I don't want to spoiler any further😅
@minihanovaa_: I'm afraid to ask where you found the strength to endure all these verbs in the endings of direct speech in this book, because I wanted to start reading it, but it's just: "...", - answered/whispered/She said/sighed/mumbled/asked/answered. and happiness when there is a name or an adverb after a semicolon dash
Why such an end, for what😭😭😭 I hope that the second season will not take long to wait. Well, I went to read books, I didn't learn German so much for nothing.
Thanks, but I'm already in the middle of the first book, very easy language (but I'm after the language). So I recommend it to everyone who has a strong B1/B2, there are a lot of interesting expressions and the speech is lively!!
@VP_P: I will answer as an English teacher - it depends on how hard you study. if once a week, then after 5 years you may not reach the books. Books are most often adapted by level, there are for the most beginners. You can start right with them. The most important thing is to read what you like)
This is really a very high-quality film adaptation, I am euphoric🥹 I really hope that they will give the green light for a sequel, it is necessary here🤞🏻
I liked how they revealed the themes of desires, dreams, and my own choice. It resonates strongly in me and it was interesting to watch what was happening!
Ruby and James🥺❤️🩹 The actors did a great job with the roles, in my opinion, they looked organically in the frame🦋
I'm looking forward to season 2! By that time, it will be necessary to return to the books and refresh the plot of the remaining parts in memory☺️
I subscribe to many of the comments above, this is a VERY high-quality work and a film adaptation. Many of the scenes were word for word with the book, which just incredibly warmed my heart. Even taking into account that some important points have been changed (but not missed!!), the coincidence with the book is 100/100 The actors were just wow, they conveyed emotions so wonderfully. Well, the theme of choice, dreams and desires was wonderful. The picture is very tasty, it was shot qualitatively and it is clear that a lot of money was poured into it ahah I really hope that the series will pay for itself, and the story will be continued!
@vladamarkova: below are spoilers from the first book.
For example, I can cite that Professor Sutton sent a letter of recommendation to Oxford, and Ruby did not ask the rector about it. Even at the party, Alistair was caught with a guy by Ruby, not James. There was no branch with young Beaufort and all that. Elaine has already graduated from high school, although she is still studying here. There was also the case of Ruby's first unsuccessful party at the new school, where one of James's friends (his name is on the R) poured something into her drink. But here, in general, they did not even pay attention to this hero.
That's all that came back important, what was in the book. But there are also moments that were added to the series and they fit in perfectly)
There's still no ending to the first krieg with a party where James ignores Ruby (but maybe this will start the second season, I haven't started it yet)
I subscribe to every comment above. Finally, a decent book adaptation! (it's about CPR) And lately it's been hard with this : (I bow to the whole team of the series🛐 I haven't felt such a range of emotions from watching anything for a long time: in 6 episodes I managed to laugh, cry, and cross, and be awesome, and, in general, be inspired. And the chemistry between the characters made the butterflies in my stomach flutter💔💔💔 I really hope for a continuation, otherwise my heart will be broken🥹
A very cool film adaptation! I recently watched the movie The Creator of Dreams and was extremely disappointed. I was afraid that the situation would repeat with these books. And it turned out all in one go❤ Some book changes only benefited the plot and there were additional motivations for the actions of the characters. The caste is perfectly matched. The chemistry between the characters is very noticeable! They are not cardboard, they seem to be talking with their eyes and this made me very happy. Waiting for the second season and hoping that it will be extended. In the meantime, I'm going to reread the books.
I don't know anything about the further plot, I haven't read any books. But the series is not bad, it caught on. Although the plot is quite hackneyed and has been repeatedly shown in movies and TV series – "he is a rich heir, she is an ordinary but hardworking smart girl, and together they will change each other's lives,"everyone has seen this more than once🤭 I like the relationship in Ruby's family, her father and mother are caring, her sister supports her in everything. You can't say the same about James and Lydia's father, a rich tyrant and that's it. There is chemistry between James and Ruby, the actors played well. And then there's a new guy for a love triangle in Oxford...😅I hope season 2 will not take long to wait.
It's been a long time since there have been really good adaptations of young edalt. That's exactly how I imagined everything when I read it. An excellent series, "words were not thrown out of the song, " attention was paid to secondary branches. There is a reserve for the second season, we are waiting for the continuation. The series was also well received on the Internet, which should contribute to the extension for a second season. I liked the cast, the actress for the role of Ruby is just perfectly matched: the most ordinary girl who wants to blend in with the crowd. I liked the on-screen Lydia even more than the book one. It looks easy, as I watched it, I remembered the first book, although I read it a long time ago. Brighten up a couple of evenings is an ideal option. I definitely recommend it!
Very voluminous characters, very lively. All. The eye is directly resting from tons of cosmetics on the main characters. The bed scene is very sensual, beautiful, not vulgar. I really liked that they focused on the condom. The father is so callous that it seems that these are not his own children. As if the driver is more worried about them. Maybe he's the father? 😅 I will be happy to wait for the continuation ☺️
It's a good film adaptation, not a flat picture, which pleased me. Father, it's terrible, I wanted to justify him that it's a mask, he doesn't show pain. But at such moments there is no place for this, so he is just a mess.
I really liked the film adaptation, I was waiting for something mediocre, since not many people can make a really good movie / series based on the book, but a very good job has been done here! all the points that are really needed to advance the plot have been included. the series was so full of events that you can't say "they tried to cram the unintelligible", but on the contrary, a very cool end to the season and the transition to the second season, I really look forward to continuing, since then only the most interesting things happen. it turned out to be a very beautiful scene between James and Ruby in Oxford, intertwining bodies and without vulgarity. I still don't understand how it was possible to leave my children without news about the death of their mother, this is how much you need to be an emotional, cold and not empathic person…
I was also afraid that this would be another mediocre film adaptation, as happens in 9/10 of cases, but I really don't remember such a high-quality film adaptation of young-adult books in the last ten years so accurately. At the same time, I did not read the original, but now I will definitely go! I have already written compliments under previous episodes, but once again I will say why I liked it so much: not only because of the beautiful actors (many films and TV series have them), but because of the well-written characters, and not the cardboard boxes, which in 6 episodes managed to reveal themselves well, made me empathize and believe them. The actors played their roles by 200%. The scene of the first sex turned out to be so tender and erotic, where, again, it feels like two people in love are making love. This is rarely seen in teen dramas. And the line with James's sister, Lydia, also pleased me! I liked her character too. My only complaint is: why is there only 6 episodes? At least 8, but I wouldn't give up 10 either! I really, really hope that the entire trilogy will be filmed to the end. Because it's a really high-quality thing in its genre. And once again the proof: that a seemingly hackneyed plot is not always bad, details and implementation are important. Well, seriously, for a long time I didn't like both main characters as much as I did here. James is a really deep and good guy, not a walking bag of dough and a beautiful picture, and Ruby is a very persistent and self-sufficient girl, for whom you also want to cheer. I hope that later in the story they will stand together against the asshole father and against all other obstacles!
To be honest, I started watching Dramions only because of vibes + I've been reading books for a long time and I was curious what could have been filmed there. As a result, if not a masterpiece, then a VERY high-quality mini-series was shot. I watched all 6 episodes with wild interest, it was difficult to break away. I got even more than I expected. I really hope for season 2, because the series is really hooked.
I really liked the picture, the atmosphere, the chemistry, and the characters. the actors play well - it's nice to watch. I remembered where I had seen James before - the actor played in the TV series How to Sell Drugs Online (fast)" I'm waiting for the second season and I'm running to read books
I didn't think that the series would come to me so much that I would wait for the second season, there were a lot of expectations...absolutely none, but it turned out.... In general, I hope they won't delay the continuation. And I'm also thrilled with their Best Man.😁
In the news where I saw this series, I joked that it was "another elite", but now I take my words back!! I really liked it, the plot is certainly not super original, but I love the from enemies to lovers trope so much that I watched all the episodes in 1 day. I will definitely wait for season 2!
Well, why such a sad ending, I thought for a second that their father had killed their mother. I wouldn't be surprised if it's really him. Oh, what awaits us next. 6 episodes in one go! I'm waiting for the second season. These two🤤♥️
Someone watched the video in one go, but I apparently had a problem with it and I watched it to watch it. It became interesting only in the last 2-3 episodes
After watching it, I wanted to read books, although more often the opposite happens 😅 It's very emotional and beautifully shot... You sympathize and worry about them ...💔
I read books like this in 20-21 and I remember the series in fragments, except for the first book, because I read it 2 times. I can say for sure that this is a very worthy adaptation of young edalt, perhaps even one of the best, because the adaptations of "after" and "my beautiful misfortune" only make me scream and cry. That's how I imagined James's character during the reading, Lydia is also a 100% hit for me. Ruby saw it a little differently, but I'm still glad that the actress was chosen and that she's not this typical beauty (although I think Harriet Herbig-Matten is just a super cutie), plus she has a very cool facial expression. In general, as a visual person, I am very pleasantly surprised, I will go reread books, watch all these edits in tiktok and wait for the release of season 2.
How long have I been waiting for something like this! I watched all the episodes at once, and now I want to read the books. The main characters are simple, it's a pleasure to look at them. I hope the sequel will not take long to wait, and all three books will be adapted 🙏🏻
I couldn't resist and so, 3 days later, I read all three books. Here I had no impression that (the book or the series) was worse or better, as it usually happens. on the contrary, it was cool when, while reading, pictures with the characters of the film adaptation appeared in my head 🙈 I want to say that the story is really wonderful, you really worry about the characters, and Ruby and James are now forever in your heart 🥹 the series is very close to the book, some moments are slightly changed, but there are also those that are in the books themselves It wasn't, but they added a very cool story! Now I can't wait any longer to continue!!!
Oh, well, that's tough, comrades. I was living quietly for myself and then I read yesterday on myshows the news that some sensational series was being renewed for a second season (which I hadn't even heard of). I read the reviews, realized that it was "Pride and Prejudice", "Twilight", "50 OS" and so on. the modern generation. Well, OK, I think there are 6 episodes in total, we need to take a look. Two episodes were like this, except that the boy looked like Matt Smith, and on the third I got stuck. I had to take a break, go to bed and dream about this juvenile crash all night. In the morning I started listening to the first audiobook from the trilogy, and by the evening I had finished listening. Then, under a bottle of wine, I watched the remaining three episodes. Well, that's 10 out of 10. First of all, almost according to the book - 90%. Secondly, it was shot better than it was written, the series has some kind of more adult, dramatic level. Thirdly, I liked everything: the picture, the soundtracks, the acting (especially the main character, his sister, his father). It seems to be banal according to the description, and even according to the plot, but no, it's catchy. Well, this little Matt Scott is now on my phone screen saver. The nightmare of krch. Today I will start listening to the second book and I will wait for the second season, I hope they will not lose quality.
Such a banal trope: a rich cool guy and a plain poor girl, but it caught on... the heart melted I even had to buy books to find out how their story would end, it's impossible to endure until season 2😄
I didn't expect anything from the series, but how wrong I was. From the first episode, I got carried away, fell in love with the characters and worried about them. Such a banal trope, but it turned out so cool, it looks in one breath and I want more. Episode 6 ended so sadly, I can't wait for the second season. I hope that they will not let you down further and will shoot well. Now I'm thinking of reading books while I'm waiting for the second season.
What a great movie adaptation it turned out to be! I read all three books and was looking forward to the series as soon as the news about the film adaptation appeared. I really like this kind of story, when it's one step from hate to love. The actors played super, Ruby turned out to be so sweet and cozy, James was self-confident and vulnerable at heart, and their chemistry was wildly sensual. First love, as always, came suddenly and how cool it is to watch the characters experience these feelings, these looks, touches, I had goosebumps and delight.I will really wait for 2 more seasons for the remaining 2 books, it will definitely be worth it, because the characters will still have to fight for their love.
What a series — solid American racing! From emotion, tension to tears and expectation, it turned out to be very emotional. Once again, I would like to pay tribute to the shooting and the music. The song Brave fit so seamlessly into the moment. The actors' acting is just chef's kiss, as is the chemistry between them. I liked the scene so much when James, who had pulled away from Ruby, still did not have time to suppress the instinct to support her and touched her hand, wishing her good luck and their confrontation on the stairs, AND THIS KISS. Incredible, I liked it even more than the first one. The bed scene also turned out to be very tender and sensual, as well as the conversation between the characters after. "You forgot the most important thing" and Ruby's name, written in his handwriting. It's just amazing. There were no expectations from the series, but in the end I really liked the story and the performance. I'm looking forward to the second season)
I didn't expect anything when I started watching. Even before about half of the second episode, I laughed that I had slipped back into my school years, but then I realized that the series was worthy. Yes, the plot is quite banal, we were not surprised by anything, but we did it well. These small but eloquent "contacts" of the main characters: their looks, how James touched Ruby's hand to wish her luck, James ' eyes when he realized that a sophomore could become a competitor.that's all so captivating. I thought that I needed to read books so that there was no heavy wait for the continuation, but I decided that it would be pleasant)
This is one of the best film adaptations of modern novels. So much time is devoted to the details, everything is so consistent with the book that I waited with bated breath for them to say this phrase or not. The actors did an excellent job. Damian played superbly, how he conveyed the emotions of the character and just did his job perfectly. I would also like to say about the actor who played the father of He played so well that I hated this character. I wanted to hit him through the screen)
I hope the series gets a third season so that the story is over. I'm looking forward to the second season, as long as it doesn't come out worse than this one)))
How wonderful it is! What a quality of shooting! It seems to be a typical story, but! I have never seen anything so exciting, emotional and interesting in this genre from Three meters above the sky level, as if. I read here that there are 3 books. I will really look forward to the continuation of the story.
The series is great! I liked that they did not drag out their conflict for a whole season, and the characters quickly realized that they were in love with each other, without unnecessary drama. But the drama is just being added by James's nasty father.… I feel sorry for the mother and the children... the father is still an ass!
Well, after watching the series, emotions are mixed. First of all, I must say right away that I read the entire trilogy, I really liked it and I was waiting for the series. I liked the film adaptation, I'm glad that they didn't change anything and throw out important pieces from the book. That's probably how I imagined it all, apart from some little things. However, she imagined Mr. Sutton and Father James quite differently. But these are small things and only my expectations. Secondly, I really did not expect that it would be the Germans who would make the film adaptation, since the action takes place in England :) But it turned out well
One of the advantages is a beautiful picture, an excellent soundtrack, the plot was not cut, so I put 8 out of 10. I wonder what will happen next, despite the fact that I know what will happen next) I just wonder how it will be implemented and shown
Of the cons- 1) Ruby is shown in the book as a daily planner, imho it showed her responsibility, her systematization and overall attitude to business very well. Yes, the diary was shown, but somehow briefly, as if it was just that the girl has a diary. But in the book, this was an important aspect of the character and it was by it that you could sometimes understand the mood and condition. But, again, that's how I see it, and the screenwriters saw it differently. 2) Lin and Ruby's friendship was shown little, but Lin is really a very important part of Ruby's life. I hope that they will reveal it further
As a result, the series came out well, I will wait for the sequel (by the way, does anyone know when it is?)
P.S. But I will wait for the voiceover from another service, the coldfilm seemed somehow not very lively, but it's delicious
I would like to share my incredible emotions after watching it. The series was held in one go. I haven't felt this way in a long time. You live every significant fragment together with the characters, and you can't get enough of their joint scenes. I'm thrilled, the ending brought me to tears. The series made me go through a storm of emotions in a couple of hours. Thanks to the author of the books and the screenwriters for this.
yes, sneakers and cons will fly at me, but I will immediately make a reservation that I am an outsider, not familiar with the book cycle and generally heard about this series for the first time from tiktok. I watched it in one gulp, but not because it was terribly interesting, but because I couldn't figure out how this story had hooked everyone and why she had so many fans. Unfortunately, I did not find an answer. the characters are cardboard, very formulaic, absolutely unremarkable. The plot, down to the secondary lines, is also a solid template. absolutely all these stories have already been played, described, re-sucked and licked a hundred million times and in a much better performance. the motivation of the characters in the series was incomprehensible and unfounded many times, especially the violent outbursts of the main character. this is a young adult, I understand, there is not much logic here at all, just because it is sometimes difficult to understand teenagers, but so much? these are all claims, as I understand it, to the book part. zero originality of the plot, zero ideas, zero interesting characters who would carry the whole epic on themselves and for whom I would like to look further.
now for the film adaptation... I can't evaluate exactly the book/TV series ratio, since I haven't read it, but according to the picture, yes, it's good. by caste, it's very amateur (I'm not an amateur, it didn't happen to anyone), the acting is ..... difficult, bad, painful. You don't believe a word of it. the main character walks around all season with such a tense expression on her face, as if she is being held by claws for a soft point.. the scenes of kissing and intimacy, alas, are not reached. the main character tried something, but it was more painful than interesting. This is partly because of the cardboard nature of the characters, partly because of the lack of chemistry between the years. many scenes are cut crookedly, too naively, even with a great desire to believe in sincerity, I failed. The series is suitable for fans of "Emily in Paris" and a similar audience. I was especially amused by how the timekeeping is filled with scenes and characters that literally have ZERO meaning. I don't know if this is a claim to the book or to the film adaptation, but it's a failure. Chekhov's guns do not shoot (why, one wonders, were they hung), character growth occurs in only one case (in the rest, either degradation, and sharp, or stagnation), the final twist also makes no sense. it's clear that this is a setback for the second season, but, as a non-reader of the book, I can envy: he will send dad to all four sides, their personal taxi driver will turn out to be the real dad, James will draw drawings and enter some kind of art critic or something, his sister will give birth and hang out with the teacher, and gg will be a kick-ass an abstruse Oxford student.... they will be together, then apart, but in the end they are still together. I may be wrong, but the whole plot of the first season was literally predicted on the first episode and everything came true! in general, all pis, do not throw tomatoes, imho, and all in the same spirit. I do not recommend the series to people who are outside the story - you will waste your time.
@temalovemilk: dear cats, what a wonderful comment / review on the series. Here are absolutely all the same thoughts after watching. We took the classic Cinderella plot and rewrote it in the most formulaic way possible. But apparently I don't LIKE such things, but it's a pity. Sometimes you want a pleasant romantic story.
The series turned out to be very good, it's a pity that the last one. There is a clear hint of a sequel. The series didn't end the way it did in book 1 (which I'm glad about, at least there was cheating with Elaine) . Cyril even felt sorry for him, he's a jerk, of course, but his hopeless love for Lydia breaks his heart. I want him to be happy too. Alternatively, with Lin👍😍 Alistair is chasing after Keshav, who does not understand how he treats him. He seems to have feelings, but it's like he's afraid of them. In this situation, I feel more sorry for Alistair😕 Ruby's family is just magical. Although they are poor, they have so much happiness, support and mutual understanding in their family. Unfortunately, this cannot be said about the Beaufort family😞💔
original plots? No, you haven't heard. let's fill up the space with so many cliches that it will become difficult to breathe.
✓The golden boy who doesn't like his life and wealth. He is definitely very creative and vulnerable at heart, although everyone sees him only as a playboy. ✓A quiet guy from a poor family. the one that no one notices in the corridors (of course she has one single girlfriend). ✓The evil asshole father. he will never take the side of a relationship in his life, because he is sculpting a robot out of his son ✓I'll say that I took advantage of you because I can't tell the truth, because otherwise the plot will be reduced by one episode.
you can enumerate indefinitely. it seems that nothing good can come out with such a set, but! surprisingly, it can. of course, this is not a first-class love story (do not expect this), but six episodes will quite brighten up a dull evening for you and become such a fast serotonin. the shortcomings in the originality of the plot twists are covered by the rather good chemistry of the actors, good dialogues (after watching "after " it was from them that I had a moral trauma), beautiful shots and everyone's favorite music. the minor characters are not flat at all, I want to watch the development of their stories. it remains only to wish the series not to become something third-rate in the second season.
The very quality of the series is excellent, the shooting, the colors, the costumes, everything is wonderful, throughout the season it really pleases the eye. But the plot... It is clear that the problem here is not in the series, but in the book. Well, everything is already very mediocre. Cliche on cliche, dumb act on dumb act. Maybe it's all better spelled out in the book, at least it doesn't seem so stupid, I don't know, it looks sad in the series. But it is worth paying tribute, it goes very easily, the head does not strain at all, as a kind of chewing gum for the brain will go.
In short, both the series as a series and the series as a film adaptation of the book are successful, but for me there is a big minus. If you don't like it when a book is torn out of your hands in the middle of the page, wait for at least 2 seasons. It's a pity that the days have passed when cinema had a priority on telling a story.
So I watched the acclaimed series. I'll make a reservation right away that I haven't read the books. The impressions after watching are kind of incomprehensible. The plot is not original, the picture is good, I liked the cast, the chemistry is present, the kisses are hot. Everything seems to be fine, everything is as I like it, but for some reason it did not catch on. I wanted to read books to find out the sequel, but I'm afraid of repeating myself with the Creator of Tears. It's too hard for me to read. Perhaps I'll start reading from the 2nd book, since everyone says that the film adaptation is almost one-on-one according to the book.
Lydia played well, and she was very beautiful. I hope she keeps the baby. The driver's wordlessness was a little annoying. It was somehow exaggerated. The main character played smartly. That's how it should be, without overplaying, but also conveyed emotions. Gorgeous!
@Lav-chik: yes, the books are also good, the series is almost verbatim based on the book, it's even interesting that they will do the same with the second season)
Does anyone know what kind of song is playing when Ruby and James are walking and throwing a coin into the river? She is not in the official playlist :(
God, Draco, Hogwarts - it was luxurious) and even the parents, well, purely Lucius and Narcissa All the characters are handsome, but Lydia is just unreal. The contrast between Ruby and James's family is so strong that you can cut yourself
Well, I went to read books, I didn't learn German so much for nothing.
I liked how they revealed the themes of desires, dreams, and my own choice. It resonates strongly in me and it was interesting to watch what was happening!

And I'm also thrilled with their Best Man.😁
it feels like the driver is James's father, he cares so much for him))
It's very emotional and beautifully shot... You sympathize and worry about them ...💔
I even had to buy books to find out how their story would end, it's impossible to endure until season 2😄
There were no expectations from the series, but in the end I really liked the story and the performance. I'm looking forward to the second season)
I thought that I needed to read books so that there was no heavy wait for the continuation, but I decided that it would be pleasant)
What a quality of shooting!
It seems to be a typical story, but!
I have never seen anything so exciting, emotional and interesting in this genre from Three meters above the sky level, as if.
I read here that there are 3 books. I will really look forward to the continuation of the story.
I feel sorry for the mother and the children... the father is still an ass!
I wonder what will happen next, despite the fact that I know what will happen next) I just wonder how it will be implemented and shown
Of the cons-
1) Ruby is shown in the book as a daily planner, imho it showed her responsibility, her systematization and overall attitude to business very well.
P.S. coldfilm is speed, not quality)
But apparently I don't LIKE such things, but it's a pity. Sometimes you want a pleasant romantic story.
Cyril even felt sorry for him, he's a jerk, of course, but his hopeless love for Lydia breaks his heart. I want him to be happy too. Alternatively, with Lin👍😍
Alistair is chasing after Keshav, who does not understand how he treats him. He seems to have feelings, but it's like he's afraid of them. In this situation, I feel more sorry for Alistair😕
Ruby's family is just magical. Although they are poor, they have so much happiness, support and mutual understanding in their family. Unfortunately, this cannot be said about the Beaufort family😞💔
✓The golden boy who doesn't like his life and wealth. He is definitely very creative and vulnerable at heart, although everyone sees him only as a playboy.
✓A quiet guy from a poor family. the one that no one notices in the corridors (of course she has one single girlfriend).
✓The evil asshole father. he will never take the side of a relationship in his life, because he is sculpting a robot out of his son
✓I'll say that I took advantage of you because I can't tell the truth, because otherwise the plot will be reduced by one episode.
you can enumerate indefinitely. it seems that nothing good can come out with such a set, but! surprisingly, it can. of course, this is not a first-class love story (do not expect this), but six episodes will quite brighten up a dull evening for you and become such a fast serotonin. the shortcomings in the originality of the plot twists are covered by the rather good chemistry of the actors, good dialogues (after watching "after " it was from them that I had a moral trauma), beautiful shots and everyone's favorite music. the minor characters are not flat at all, I want to watch the development of their stories. it remains only to wish the series not to become something third-rate in the second season.
The driver's wordlessness was a little annoying. It was somehow exaggerated.
The main character played smartly. That's how it should be, without overplaying, but also conveyed emotions. Gorgeous!
All the characters are handsome, but Lydia is just unreal.
The contrast between Ruby and James's family is so strong that you can cut yourself
