The way their story was beautifully and competently revealed deserves applause. Their chemistry is great, it's a pity that they didn't give us more (and, knowing how it will end, they will hardly have time to give it).
Also, special thanks for the way the screenwriters worked out the dynamics between Claudia and Armand, because in fact they have a lot in common, but the books did not focus on this, although Claudia's gratitude is worth it that Armand never treated her like a child. And it is this aspect that makes the episode finale and all subsequent events even more painful.
As the devil's advocate in this app, I am here again to defend my cancelled wife. If you remember how last season ended, then obvious parallels emerge: Louis loved very much, but because of a bad attitude betrayed Lestat > due to injury, after that he began to behave in many ways like Lestat > found Armand > manipulated his need for love, as Lestat did with Louis himself, despite all Armand's love for him, also turned out to be loyal. Does this make Armand a bad person? Obviously yes. Is he worse than the other vampires? No, he's literally living the Louis arch from the first season. He's just like Louis, just like all of them.
An interesting storyline with Talamaska (and Rashid), I hope that this will eventually lead somewhere, because they recently announced a spin-off about the order, and it will be very disappointing if this whole thread is nothing more than an attempt to lure the audience into another project to avoid the fate of the Mayfair witches.

How I fell in love with Madeleine and her and Claudia's story. It's a pity that only one episode was given to this. I initially hoped that Madeleine would be given more time during the season and that she and Claudia would have more scenes. And after all, nothing really prevented them from doing this, it was possible to stretch all those scenes that were shown in this series into several episodes, make them more detailed, it's a pity that the screenwriters decided to just put everything in one episode. But such a good actress and such a wonderful character.

How naive do you think it is to hope that the screenwriters decided to change the book and give Claudia and Madeleine a happy ending? How is it possible that they managed to get out alive and escape, and that they lived a happy life together all these years while others thought they were dead? I understand that it's probably stupid and pointless, that it's better to prepare yourself for the worst in advance and accept it in advance, but I really want a good end for them. They deserve to be happy.

Madeleine had such a calm, beautiful treatment, which probably did not exist and will not exist for more than one vampire from this story (even those who, like Madeleine, wanted to become a vampire on their own, knew everything about vampires in advance and prepared for it, eventually were converted under any circumstancesin tragic circumstances, when they were in pain and very scared). I have a lot of thoughts about this series, but the first one among them is how amazing Assad Zaman plays. It's just entirely his season, he's outshone everyone without exception.
