Description
At sea, the twins fight for their lives against Ripley. Keyleth undergoes a dangerous earth ritual to locate Raishan, one that could cost her life. Pike and Grog's quest is no less perilous, as they struggle to convince Kaylie to help save Scanlan.
Discussion of the 11 episode of the 3 season Discuss this episode
25Wax and Vex are incredibly cool in this series, especially the final blow to Ripley fire (pun intended)
>scenario laziness
This is literally a cartoon based on the DND campaign, XS, what questions if the main script was known before the start of work on season 1
The rest of the questions are not difficult to answer, if you think about it
Why not implement it without the participation of Kilit?
Because the key points of the plan are tied to Mighty Nein - killing Tordak, killing other dragons.
After the murder, she can carry out the plan without Kilit, she just knows that she won't have time to do it before Kilit finds her, so she has to count on it.
Why can't Kilit conduct a reconnaissance?
Because Kilit is far from the most inconspicuous member of the group, this is not her specialty, plus here actually Raishan wants to resurrect their strongest opponent, plus make him stronger, not that there is a lot of time for exploration, especially when the enemy specializes in stealth and is waiting for you
The fact that she was cut off by the earth, on the contrary, is logical: everyone else could not block this attack, Kilit could. Literally: if you throw people into the river, then you will separate those who can swim from those who cannot
Plus, the fact that she can control the earth does not make her omnipotent in this regard
Last time, let me remind you, besides Tordak, there were also small dragons, and Tordak was in perfect health
>The dnd campaign also has a script
If you have played DnD and watched more than 3 episodes of the Kritroll, then you would know that this is almost nonsense. There are several videos dedicated to this, but here's the one I like the most:
https://youtu.be/ElDLf1TA2Go?si=e924iiYSFyA3iO5z
Yes, there are specific details that Matt is planning, but this does not mean that everything has a script, it's nonsense
>What prevents Raishan from dying or dying from any NPC
Are you watching the same show as me? She managed to complete the ritual only when Makin's Vox were ALREADY nearby, how do you imagine it? Does she complete the ritual and then die herself? Why, if you can do damage to a Kill?
>What is the difficulty of exploration
Well, hz, maybe it's because the show clearly showed that Raishan noticed how Kilit found out where she was? Maybe it's because, as I said, Raishan is an intelligence and stealth specialist herself??? It's like you haven't read what I've written.
>the resurrection point is generally past, for those who are not in the subject, this is a surprise
Firstly, in my argument, the resurrection itself is not so important, but in general, when a dragon dying of an illness steals the corpse of another, more powerful dragon, what else can you think??? And even if there might be something else, clearly a ritual involving the corpse of Tordak is a dangerous enough thing for the entire continent. Moreover, again, you saw for yourself that Makin's Vox managed to reach Raishan EXACTLY at the time of the end of the ritual, so no, there was no time to wait and find out specifically.
I'm not talking about the rest, it's really like we're watching different TV shows...
>This adds weight to your words
Putting a plus when I agree and a minus when I don't is LITERALLY the only + and - functionality on this site
>"Almost Nonsense is nonsense"
I sent a 20-minute video, is it convincing? "Nonsense" is just my assessment of your words, not an argument, because it seems to me that you have not watched more than 3 episodes of Critical Role and judging by the fact that you have not corrected me, I am right
>Why is death at the hands of the Kilet in this chain?
Once again, death is quite obvious why it is necessary - because Raishan needs it as part of the ritual to transfer himself into the body of Tordak. The fact that it is Kilit who should kill Raishan is not said anywhere, this is just what you are thinking about
>"it looked like"
>>Where did you get this from? Speculation?
These two phrases in one message look funny
>>You explain what it means "will not have time before it is found" where did you get this? ... Why did the team manage EXACTLY?
Because we saw directly in the series how they came to Raishan's cave exactly at the moment when she finished the ritual. We see her casting spells, then Kilit and the others enter the cave, then she finishes the spells and at that moment she is killed. I.e. literally, they entered EXACTLY at the moment when Raishan finished the ritual. This is shown on the screen.
>what does it mean "will not be in time before she is found"
That's what it means. Raishan saw how Kilit found her, Raishan knows this team and knows how long it takes them to get there
gt;I don't understand how the forces of the Kilet
Em work, but what exactly is unclear? That the ability to move the earth does not mean that it is omnipotent in controlling the earth?
The whole answer didn't fit into one comment, there will be a second one
>Why did Raishan perform the ritual exactly the way she did it
And how else should I have? I.e. it's literally how the rules of the universe work. Such is the ritual
>If it's obvious to you what to do with the dragon's corpse
I've already explained that no, it's not obvious. It's obvious to me that if a strong enough dragon steals the corpse of the strongest dragon, it will have serious consequences. It is obvious to me that if a bunch of times in the series it was shown that Raishan was dying from the poison that ashari had put on her, if Raishan herself said that she planned to get rid of the poison and that the murder of Tordak was part of the plan, then she plans to do something with this corpse in the near future, before she died
That is, we have it on our hands: Raishan plans to do something with the corpse of the strongest dragon in the near future. Conclusion: this should be prevented in the near future
>What kind of tactics did the squad have
Well, it's clear that the tactic was for the squad to secretly get closer to Raishan while Kilit was talking to her, and then attacked. And it seemed clear enough that the plan had failed because Raishan had noticed them, so Kilit decided to attack anyway, not knowing that killing Raishan would end the ritual.
This is the life of a bot. He is waiting for the main character to come and be able to defeat him. If Tordak acted as a full-fledged villain and was caught off guard by this, then Raishan is just a character-a function and a source of experience. Maybe it was different in the gatherings, but here the timing devoured the character faster than the curse of ashari.
>Why can't Kilet conduct reconnaissance
Because the GM announces the disposition at the table: "You see the villain successfully completing the ritual. Your actions?"
