.. You had a math class at school. On the fingers: Season 3 was released in January 2014, season 4 will be released in January 2016. 2014-2015 is the first year, 2015-2016 is the second year. Where did you find the third one, where is the space-time crack?
Why on Earth would I do that? It's so funny and easy to pull your strings, when your responses are so predictable. BTW, brooms are highly overrated! As for me, I drive a car, you know, all those goodies like front seats and steering wheel heating make it a much better choice as compared to a broom. But how could you know that, right? Considering the fact that you still use your broom as means of transportation. Well, we've gone totally off topic, so I'm going to unfollow this thread. And note that I generously let you have the last word in our friendly discussion.
At the beginning of 2016 (in January, most likely. it just makes sense, as with seasons 2 and 3). + Don't forget that a Christmas special will be released before season 4.
-Watson "The less Sherlock the better" KinoPoisk(R). But I think that there should be a lot of Sherlock and more often than the series. But it seems that even Watson agrees with your logic, but somehow 2016 is still a long way off.
After watching "Sherlock," the rest of the series seem like crap. But the intrigue is frenzied after each episode. In 1 day, I watched the entire series with:
the year was 2055, the 45th season of Game of Thrones was released, the 48th season of the big bang theory....... the 4th season of Sherlock was postponed for six months)
DW: According to Moffat, the filming of the special (not the fourth season!) they are almost finished, and all the participants were satisfied with the result. Although, the official release date of the interim series has not yet been announced.
Therefore, in 2015 we may see at least something))) intermediate)))
There is a two-year difference between any of the seasons of Sherlock. Since the third season was in 2014, we shouldn't wait for the fourth season before 2016. I hope it will be the first half of 2016.
@Maks_Kim: will not be. They officially wrote that filming will only begin in 2016, so I think the new season will appear in the winter from 2016 to 2017.
Maybe we shouldn't be complaining about the long breaks between seasons. the series is probably cool because the scriptwriters are giving their best, and not sucking the plot out of their fingers, just to make a sequel faster.
@Cassiddy: in the third season, they had a little chat, I would say... And the long break is caused only by the busy actors of the main roles, and not by the fact that the screenwriters spend a long time writing the script.
@little_eeyore: at least during the waiting period, they still have more time at their disposal to finalize the plot and eliminate nuances, which, in fact, their colleagues in other series cannot boast of))
@diru_renjaa: you might think that one Moffat pulls two TV series)) He's not the only one doing Doctor Who, there's a whole group of screenwriters and authors. The same story with Sherlock, besides him, Gatiss also works))
@Cassiddy: Would you please show me where I said he was the only one pulling 2 TV series? About the doctor: he's not alone, of course, but he's the showrunner, so everything goes through him. Sherlock also has Thompson, by the way. But back to what I said about Moffat. although he is lying liar who lies, he stated at this sdcc that he was personally busy writing the Doctor and the writers of Sherlock season 4 had not even started writing yet. Although they all know what they want and what they're going for, and they promised to rip out our hearts and trample them into the mud. I won't remember the exact wording, but that's the point.
As always, the scriptwriters ended the season in the most interesting place, they were very intrigued, I want to review the old episodes over and over again, but more, of course, I want new episodes. This is definitely the kind of series that's worth the wait, and I agree with the commentators above that the plot is more thoughtful and interesting because it takes more time to work out the scripts. We are waiting for season 4!
While waiting for season 4, I've watched all three 10 times already...They're torturing us in a special way, so I'm waiting for something awesome. They set the bar, of course
This is the best season! It wasn't until season 3 that I liked the series, and here's the ambush! We'll have to join the ranks of fans of the series, peacefully waiting for 5 years for a new series...Ooooh!T_T
For some reason, I expected Magnussen to stay longer in the series. But Moriarty's return is even better. Admittedly, it was expected. If Sherlock couldn't die to the end last season, then why didn't Moriarty do the same? Moreover, he's a great villain! We are waiting for the fourth season.
@baliberda: It's better not to, otherwise they won't shoot more than three episodes anyway, but they'll just keep waiting for the season for more than 2-3 years. Moffat's cunning knows no bounds.)
That awkward moment when you tell Sherlock that you're 'the only one who really knows him,' and then find out that he only proposed to you in order to sneak into your boss' office.
I love this series! This is the first Sherlock movie that I didn't just like. I just fell in love with this series. Well-chosen actors, good shooting, and a successful plot. What else do you need for a good series?! It looks great in one go. Benedict Cumberbatch's choice for the lead role was also very successful. He is a brilliant actor who is able to completely transform into his characters. He's equally good at both positive characters and negative ones.
This is something incredible! The series is a bomb! Everything in this series is wonderful, not a single negative comment can be made.....though....Season 4, please start already!
The ending is extremely unexpected, as is the revelation of Mary's secret.. It was very strange for me personally, but the idea is great, and for those who write about unrealism, I can say that the main thing in this series is the unexpected turns of events that the writers and director handle perfectly, and not realism, just hyperbole about such a brilliant personality as Sherlock. I love this series!
Although I am a big fan of the Soviet Sherlock, which I perceive as canon, but I really liked this series.
It's been a long time since I've felt such an interest, such a thirst to find out what's going to happen next, even though I remember what was in the original. However, as soon as I mentally imagine what will happen next, everything turns upside down, my theories go to hell.
Sherlock attracts everyone: camera work, dialogues, plot, humor, drama, and Sherlock himself, damn it. This damn sociopath is often repulsive, but at the same time attracts even more to himself, forcing him to enjoy, enjoy and enjoy him.
I haven't sat down to watch this series for a very long time, as I'm not a fan of following fashion (and almost everyone in my environment has been talking about it for a very long time), but now I understand why Sherlock is so popular. There's just as much as you need, no more, no less.
Every series, if it draws me in, I perceive as my new personal story, I plunge into it with my head. And if Sherlock's drug is deduction, then mine is insane emotions caused by a moving picture on a screen, fictional characters, someone's fantasy brought to life.
I repeat that I love the canonical Sherlock with a pipe and in his eternal hat-cap, but this Sherlock, new, different, fascinated me just as much.
Thank you for the pleasure of all the people who worked on the series. I'm staying with him.
("the other one").
An unexpected ending ... But it shows how much Sherlock loves John and Mary, that he is even ready to commit murder for their safety ... I hope that after this episode it is clear that he is not an insensitive cracker at all, but very loyal and capable of strong deeds for the sake of his loved ones. 😌
What an epic series. Sherlock still considers himself a sociopath, but obviously with the advent of John, he is no longer one. Even looking at the murder he went to for John and Mary. The ending is great, but is Moriarty alive again, or is it some kind of fan of his? Everything can be, knowing him, maybe he really somehow survived, it's very interesting what the screenwriters came up with.
This series, and Magnussen in particular, epitomizes the most disgusting, unspeakably terrible sides of the Western political landscape. Interestingly, it is on this series that I stop watching Western content (at least modern content for an indefinite time), because the evil demonstrated in Western popular culture (to a greater extent, of course, in American;) does not It's just some kind of spherical evil in a vacuum, but the personification of a way of thinking and a way of life, which then results in numerous actions that affect the lives of people all over the world. It's even good that such a break is taking place, and it's symbolic that this is exactly the TV show that once became for me the "door" to the world of this most modern Western mass culture.
For me, Sherlock is like a roller coaster. Impressions jump up and down. At first you get wild delight, then mixed feelings from what is happening, and then a slight disappointment. I just don't know how to relate to the writing of screenwriters. The first episode of the season was very strong, funny, and generally continued the previous cliffhanger well. The topic of timeskip didn't get to me due to the fact that I still believe that Sherlock "needed" to become a multi-part show somewhere in a parallel universe. The characters and their stories have suffered greatly due to the format. They seem to be trapped in their own paradigm, the status quo, and do not develop. If we talk about Sherlock in isolation from all the flaws, then this, it seems to me, was the global problem of the series. Next comes the pure tedium at the wedding, imho I just didn't get it at that moment. I m sorry.. And now, having watched this episode, I can say that the scriptwriters have turned the entire series into pure homemade and detective water. The beginning of the series is a silly pretense. After that, everything accelerates and looks with unreal interest, the intrigue just went through the roof. And now, when the final punchline is approaching, the entire dialogue between the protagonists and the antagonist turns into the same pseudo-intellectual water and self-directed. Where is the twist, where is the bold dot? At the moment with the clicks, I just didn't understand what was going on at all.. Well, the final finish turned out to be murder on the part of Sherlock, and I just punched myself in the face... The ending with Moriarty's return was quite obvious to himself and was the simplest excuse to continue all this.. That's why I do not know the guys..
@Sealier: Upd 1: After watching season 4, the small details that I indicated came up a little differently, but this does not negate the farce at the end of this series.
Again, I only remember a couple of details, including the end. Let's see what the series was like...
It seems to me that over the past almost 10 years, information has become easier to get - social networks, etc.? It would have been easier for Magnussen now. "but I'm glad you're not wearing a ring. " Wiggy's good. Could be a good assistant for Sherlock Sherlock is becoming more and more like an ordinary person. It's nice to see you. I wonder if the connection with Janine caused criticism of LGBT people, who sometimes add asexuals to their letters, which could be considered Sherlock. Well или here are the " Slashers "for" cheating " John 😂 Modest John-turns away from kisses 😁 Now I felt sorry for Janine for using her like this... Although this is already in the spirit of Sherlock, but at least thank you that he is not so heartless and does not mind that John took care of her... I remembered Janine, when Sherlock said about Leif's camera, and when John said that Mary he uses this perfume-when I first thought of Lady Smallwood, I immediately remembered Mary. By the way, if you carefully read the inscriptions in 3*01, when Sherlock "reads" The Mary, you can see LIAR among the inscriptions. That is, they already suggested it then. One could say, Of course, why she didn't wear a mask when the aliens appeared, but if it was someone random, they would have killed, and if it was Sherlock, he would have guessed anyway... Well или she will shoot Правда I really don't remember - she specifically shot so that death would be slower and he would be able to survive somehow? After all, why not in the heart. Or was it a shot for the loss of blood without the need to kiss the heart? Sherlock is being operated on. And in 2.5 years, they will operate on the second character of Cumberbatch 😅 Watson is Sherlock's weak spot 🥰 😢 So nothing happened all this time? 😂 Oh! The second Sherlock returned 😅 I wonder if Watson guessed it himself? After all, he looked at the perfume like that - it would be in favor of his character, if he even suspected it himself. How nice, John and Mary 🥰 But it's clever and clever - if there are no physical documents, then there is no hint against you.
P. S. When you are not looking for the first time and already notice the signs for the SL. season...
1. Don't miss the post-credits scene. 2. I saw a comment on YouTube - John dislocated that guy's arm, because he, to put it mildly, "offended" his ex-girlfriend in 3*09 Game of Thrones "Red Wedding" 😅
* At 4*01 in the news, you could see in the running line that Magnussen was being called to Parliament. *In this episode, we learn that Mary doesn't live under her real name. During the wedding reception at 3*02, The Song "December, 1963" by Frankie Valli is heard, the words of which are "Oh, what a night/ you know, I didn't even know her name/ but I was never going to be the same/ what a lady, what a night."(What a night. You know, I didn't even know her name, but I'll never be the same again. What a lady, what a night.) * the series became the most discussed episode of a Drama Series on Twitter in the UK. * Young Sherlock is played by Louis Moffat, son of screenwriter/co-creator Stephen Moffat and his wife, TV series producer Sue Verche. He was the voice of the boy in the stage in the gallery at 1*03. * Benedict Cumberbatch, Martin Freeman and screenwriter Stephen Moffat won an Emmy Award for this series. * According to mark Gaitis, screenwriter of the series and performer of the Macroft role, Mycroft said, "As my colleague likes to notice, this country sometimes needs a blunt tool. This is how James Bond was described by his boss M in the performance of Judah Dench in the movie "Casino Royale". And suddenly bond and Sherlock – in the same reality? * Lars Mikkelsen was offered by producer Sue Verche. He recorded an audition video of him urinating in his shed. He was also filmed at the time in a film that takes place in East London and acquired a London accent, as a result, he was asked to return his native Danish... * Magnussen was originally supposed to be an American, while retaining the original character's last name (Milverton), but for Mikkelsen's sake, Moffat replaced the character's nationality and first name. He found the name " Magnussen "on a Danish name site, in search of something similar to"Milverton". * The post-credits scene in C Moriarty should have been longer, but Gatiss recommended shortening it to tease viewers. * Moffat was accused of misogynism for stealing the bookish female character who killed Milverton in the original story. He responded to criticism with his opinion about the story: What if it was Watson and Holmes who killed Milverton, and the female character was invented by Watson himself, because the story is told from his first person, suddenly he is an unreliable narrator (unreal narrator). *When John takes iron from a car at the beginning of the series before entering a drug addict's home, you can see a billboard with old and new ads behind him. If you read them together, you'll get "information is power." The villain of the series uses information on others for the sake of blackmail. * According to Mycroft, Sherlock considers himself a "Dragon-slayer", which amuses Sherlock. Filming of the season was partially delayed due to the filming of "The Hobbit", where Watson was Bilbo Beggins, and Sherlock was the dragon Smaug. . * The plane that was supposed to take Sherlock into exile has a Danish registration code (OY). And the helicopter that Sherlock and John flew to Magnussen, has the same Reg. the code is the same as the helicopter Mycroft flew in later. * When Magnussen scans parliamentarians at the beginning of the series, we see that lady Smallwood's name is "Alicia." In all the subsequent scenes, when it comes to names, it's "Elizabeth."
2/3 * Among the congratulations that Sherlock read at the wedding in the last episode was Magnussen: "It's a pity that your parents can't see this day." Mary felt a little nervous. * The action takes place on Christmas Day (December 25th), but the trees are full of leaves. * The red letters in the end credits form MILVERTON, Magnussen's name in the original story. * References to "The Dark Knight": Watson says he's used to a better class of criminals (a better class of criminal), the same phrase the Joker used when talking about his vision of Gotham. Before shooting Magnussen, Sherlock says, "I'm not a hero." Batman said the same thing to himself before taking responsibility for Two-Face's actions. T.R.: The Rebirth of Legend: Mycroft described Magnussen as a "necessary evil." That's the same phrase Bane used when talking about himself. * The font in Sherlock's chambers of mind matches the font used on the London underground. * The fake house/facade at Lenister Gardens: In the 1930s, there was a case where a crook sold a couple hundred tickets to a charity ball. The deception was not revealed until the guests arrived in ballgown and discovered that the house was not real. * The story of the cannibal from whom Sherlock won the building is funny, considering that the villain is played by Lars Mikkelsen, his brother is Mads Mikkelsen, with whom Bond played cards at Casino Royale, who later played the cannibal Hannibal Lecter. Two years later, in the movie Doctor Strange, the main character is played by Benedict Cumberbatch, which is funny when you consider that his Sherlock here does not consider himself a hero and kills the character of Lars Mikkelsen, and in Strange he played a doctor who became a superhero and must save the world from the villain played by Mads Mikkelsen. * Hints of the "Hobbit: John/Bilbo looks closely at the ring; Sherlock/Smaug criticizes John/Bilbo's thieving skills; Sherlock/Smaug detects the intruder's identity by scent, but is mistaken; Sherlock and Mycroft are talking about dragons. * The staircase in Sherlock's chambers of mind, along which he runs up and down, is the same one that was in the hotel where the 4th victim was found in 1*01 Magnussen flicks John's face with his middle finger. * At the beginning of the episode, Magnussen scans Deputy Garvey. Later in the episode, when Sherlock and John enter Magnussen's office, there is a TV report about the resignation of a deputy due to corruption allegations... * Charles Magnussen is a "chess player", a strategist. The Scandinavian chess champion is called "Magnus Carlsen". The second name "Augustus" can be considered a sign that he thinks highly of himself, considers himself Augustus, the Roman emperor. * "The East Wind" is taken from the original stories. In "His Last Bow" (1917), this is a hint of the impending German threat and the First World War. Magnussen is very similar to the book version of Moriarty. More than the serial Moriarty. * Magnussen and hints of influence on the British Prime Minister are a reference to newspaper magnate Rupert Murdoch (he owns many yellow presses, some of which have been accused of wiretapping celebrities. A journalist from 2*03) and British Prime Minister David Cameron worked for his newspaper. Here is the title of a 2012 TASS article: "David Cameron did not make deals with Rupert Murdoch in exchange for Tory support in the 2010 general election. At the same time, Cameron admitted that he had contacts with media executives during the pre-election period." By the way, when Janine sold her story to newspapers, none of them belonged to Murdoch.
3/3 * During the filming of the season, actors John and Mary were a couple in real life. * Amanda Abbington (Mary) said that until she was given the script for the series, she was unaware of Mary's dark past, and that she would have played the character differently in previous episodes. * In the deleted scene, after Sherlock is shot, but presumably before the scene with Janine, Magnussen visits Sherlock at the hospital, who is barely conscious, tired and on medication. Magnussen takes Sherlock's hand in his, kisses it and compares it to the hand of an artist "or a woman." He apologizes for the wetness of his hand and says coolly: "You'll get used to it." He gets closer to Sherlock, almost within kissing distance, and explains why he didn't turn Mary in to the police and asks Sherlock to do the same. Sherlock loses consciousness, Magnussen leaves.

* Hints of the "Hobbit:
John/Bilbo looks closely at the ring; Sherlock/Smaug criticizes John/Bilbo's thieving skills; Sherlock/Smaug detects the intruder's identity by scent, but is mistaken; Sherlock and Mycroft are talking about dragons.

And other characters with the same developed brain, except for the book ones, are pleasing
