Discussion: Season 1, Episode 2 Join the Discussion
82And Deb stepped right in. Was it really hard to think that if there was a single pair of earrings in the box, then their loss would be very easy to notice?
I also liked that they showed how Dexter and Batista's relationship developed — one of the undervalued duos, as for me.
Somehow they quickly switched to the usual "dark companion " mode
I expected that they would analyze the moments of the code , the organization of space , more about his feelings and sensations .
And then the murders went like clockwork …
Let's say in order that Dex 's mom is an informant , and then in order , according to events
What are the demands for the missing boy
(I've watched the series more than 3 times ... I really love it )😅
And three books , I didn 't find any more .
As for the storyline and flashbacks, it's still pretty interesting. In the previous episode, by the way, the death of Harry's son was shown very quickly, in this one, only the phrase of his wife with a glass in her hand about trying to replace him with another child. It is strange that the case of the missing nurse has not surfaced anywhere. Mb will appear later, and the earrings will be matched immediately.
Look at the Wolf Pack, age does not spare, they are already completely fucked up, just recently I watched all the seasons of Buffy on DVD, I have never changed. Even though many years have passed since the series, she has grown up, but she has never changed. As she was beautiful and beautiful, she remained so. You can see it with the naked eye, everyone recognizes it except you.
I'm looking forward to the screensaver again
Did Brother Brian come up to Dexter in the cafe?? It's cool if it flashes somewhere in the background)) (obviously, they will not interact(( )
I really like that here, as in the original series, they made a bright and sunny picture of Miami (that's why I love the original, the sequel looks more complicated because of the gloomy color.the bark)
And yet! Is it just me, or is there a spark between Dexem and Buffy????
But she might be interested in him, because her appearance somehow reminds me of a bookish Laguerta.
In general, I like it. The only thing I really liked was that Dexter's series has its own separate story with a denouement — I didn't find anything like that in the second series. Or was it meant that the dark companion was with him again? Maybe I couldn't feel the atmosphere to the end because of the different translation, but overall I want to believe that each episode will have its own finished story.
It seems that there is still time to return to this.
The vibe of the first seasons is felt, which in turn is a rare phenomenon in the era of sequels, prequels, sidequels, remakes and other obscenities)
And the narration style is very similar to the original, the same vibe, the same voiceover comments. It puts a lot of pressure on nostalgia.
- Nuuu Masuka is good in small doses))
Even though this spin-off looks a bit cheap..
Molly Brown is a goofball
How wildly Batista looks like, the eye is just happy, almost one-on-one)
Sarah Michelle Gellar has changed a lot from the old TV series/ movies (which is not surprising, however), in any case, I am very glad to see her.
There are too many details that are already being pampered for the sake of the fan service, but I do not believe that they will remain unchanged for another 15 years. The same office is exactly the same, has nothing changed in it at all, not even the color of the walls? Dexter is planning his second murder within a couple of weeks, although by the start of the original, he should have accumulated around 45 victims in 15 years.
For the role of little Dexter in Laura's arms, they took a very grown-up kid, in the original there was a very little three-year-old, and here it's quite a kid of about five years old.
I thought it was some kind of swear word from Deb. and this is a term from Freud's psychoanalysis😮
"He describes personality traits associated with developmental features at the anal stage, when the child learns control over the excretion process."😆
Hey, Dex, you're such a pedant.
lost is meticulous to the point of shit.
tvshow - well, you're stuffy.
rhs - you're a fucking pedant.
Dex with earrings is my darling.😄
Initially, the actor playing Dexter looked too much like Tom Holland, but the way he handles Dexter's office habits is a real bombshell! I believe, I accept.
Masuka and Angel look like the "original" more than the original actors look like themselves in Dexter: Resurrection. :D
It's sooooo cool to make a TV series, it was worth a lot of effort!! It was obvious and understandable that the viewer would compare with the original, but here they handled it so perfectly that I can hardly believe: I'm watching Dexter's early years!!
So far, I can't perceive Dexter's father. I saw/imagined him in the original Dexter in a completely different way: more calm, conservative. And then you look and think, "No, now it's clear who Debra is into."
Debra was also pushing me away, as if of all the habits they show here only excessive swearing, but it still suits the actress well, you just need to give her time.
