Arkane broke my heart! One of the best animation projects that my eyes have seen! each episode is an incredible intensity and a flurry of emotions! how epic, crazy, painful and beautiful it all is at the same time! The season was worth its expectations, thanks to everyone who had a hand in this masterpiece! ♥️
at the moment, I agree with you, but progress does not stand still, the Arcane is a direct proof of that ♥️ will someone be able to surpass it, let's see, because before its release there were many beautiful, deep projects that were worth attention and loved by the viewer)
@azi11: Of the recent Netflix projects, I really liked the blue-eyed samurai. it seems that someone from the arkane team also managed to work on it, but I'm not sure about the veracity of this information, I couldn't Google confirmation now
we will wait for new projects in the LoL universe, but the guys came in with trumps, there are a lot of interesting characters in the game and whether they can outshine Jinx, for example, the question is among the characters of the game, Caitlin and Jinx are in the top 10, but here we need to dig deeper and prescribe roles so that the viewer who is not in Laura's course loved the characters that will appear in new animation projects!
😭😭😭😭😭 I kissed the hands of the masters and geniuses who created it! The picture, the music, the plot, the elaborated characters of the characters, all the smallest details are. simply. something. I experienced all sorts of emotions during the viewing. I'll be depressed for at least a month - first because of the plot, and then from the realization that the series is over😭
@Verdant8: THIS SCENE WITH THE AIRSHIP AT THE END IS A REFERENCE TO s1ep1 at 05:28, where Powder says "one day I'll ride one of them" I don't believe she's dead! No wonder Kate decided to inspect the hextek device, holding this monkey in her hands, and saw that there were some branches, such as passages 😭
@Verdant8: Can someone explain Kate's words in a prison cell? Do you think I needed all that security at the Hex Gate? Well, I'm sorry, you've become very predictable."
@Verdant8: the fact that she specifically took everyone away so that Vai would come here and let Jinx out without any problems, who was able to leave calmly
They broke my heart professionally, and I'll have to move away from the final for a long time. I am waiting for the next Fortiche and Riot Games projects.
“I am the dirt under your nails, cupcake. Nothing’s gonna clean me out” 💔
They broke my heart twice, three times, or even a dozen times..... the best solution is to insert the final track from the first season in the instrumental version in the ending, “What could have been”....
In the original, the series sounds completely different, just a masterpiece ... there is no doubt about the appearance of the next seasons, with such a drawing, plot and soundtracks.... It will definitely be reviewed more than once, it is very good 💔
@alexsomar: there will be no arcane, there will be another series, the development of which has already officially begun. it is quite possible that Mel will be there, because she clearly hinted at this at the end, + nothing really revealed about the black rose, even Le Blanc was not fully shown, the current through the shadow
The Spider-Verse trilogy and the Arcane are the best that humanity could create, I do not know what they should come up with to surpass these masterpieces. It will take decades to even get close to such a result. Truly a masterpiece
After the ending, I feel like our Jinx in the first frames of the series - the desire to cut off my hair and burn everything down.
It seemed logical to complete the Jinx line, but at the same time I would not want her to die so much. It's just one of my favorite characters. Yes, she is destructive, yes she is wild and unpredictable, but she is alive. It was very hard after Isha's death (which, by the way, was in vain, because Varvik was revived and he started going against our GG again), and then there was the death of our girl, who, apart from suffering in life, did not receive anything special. I got a family for a moment - I lost it again, I got the approval of my sister and my childhood friend - I died. As a result, we lost her. In my heart, I really hope that she survived and just disappeared through her death in this way, but this is the end of the series, we will not know further.
And I also did not expect that Ekko would drag in a flipper fight with the Boss-Vitya and robots. I thought about anyone, but not about Ekko, who was lying unconscious)
@alla_lucy: She probably survived. It was not for nothing that Kate was shown (in the hands of Jinx the monkey), who was looking at the diagrams, and there they just showed the systems where Jinx fell. And the series ends with a shot of an airship, Jinx's first words in episode 1 were "one day I'll ride one of them";
@kobiii: Did she survive holding a grenade in her hands and falling into the hextec gate core from a great height when an iron monster tried to crush her? Nonsense.
They killed a bunch of characters, the series about the sisters is over, why would they suck Jinx's life out of nowhere?
It's obvious. I wouldn't even remember about the airship, but the fact that Caitlin studied the drawings of the place of her supposed death is already a fat hint that she may stay alive. In addition, her death will deprive them of the opportunity to make cameos in other league projects.
a purple trace is visible on the frame, I remind you - Jinx's superspeed sometimes manifests itself after shimer (I don't remember how they translated it into Russian), this was seen in previous fights
@MrSnippy: some characters survived even after more serious destruction. I don't think there's even an open ending here at all, I'm sure Jinx survived. I don't like such theories myself, when they are looking for arguments to save a character, but here you can't even call it a theory, every scene is shown for a reason.
they answered above about the purple trail, I've reviewed it now, it really looks like it's an animated show, there's a huge number of frames changing every second, which are carefully drawn, so there's just nothing, every scene / every frame is for something.. As a result, there are so many fat hints, and the scene with Kate and the last frame is the most serious proof, why should they pay the final moments of the series to these scenes and show exactly these moments, they could just show Jinx's body (although others were not always shown) and that's it, but then Kate was chosen with a piece of bomb and viewing on the diagram of exactly that place. In any case, I think we will find out the truth soon, either in other projects we will find out, or someone from the team will give an answer.
@Orsha111: The situation is a little different here. Even in the most repulsed cartoons (and Arkane is not one of those), they are not eager to show the scene of the murder of a child with maximum cruelty. In fact, this is the case. So we are dealing with a delicate form of censorship.
@Orsha111: something tells me that after such an explosion there is not only a body, there is not even ashes left. If the explosion of Warwick (who has a very strong body) So, what should be left of a simple child?
She did not die, there are hints about this in the series, the rest is better to read on the Internet, there (and here above) detectives have already unearthed everything)
@alla_lucy: "which, by the way, was in vain in the end, because Varvik was revived and he started going against our GG again So Isha went to the heroic Roskomnadzor not for the sake of Varvik, but in order to save Jinx at the moment, whom she admired and whom, as she, Isha, thought, would not survive if Varvik was not neutralized.
Alive, alive, in the very first episode of Arkane, when they broke into Jace's lab and stole hextek crystals, Jinx said that she would like to fly on such a (ship /airship that we see before the credits).
Also in the last episode, we see Caitlin studying the layout of the tower shaft.
Somewhere higher up in the comments is a screenshot with the moment of the explosion, there you can see the trace of Jinx.
Therefore, I declare with full confidence that she is alive))
After such a masterpiece, as usual, the inevitable devastation in the soul. I don't even remember the last time I felt such emotions from watching. Everything is perfect in "Arcane": from a delightful picture, various colors and ending with a plot with musical accompaniment.
I hoped and believed until the last in an absolute happy end for at least two sisters, but alas. One of them was and remains an "incorrigible hero." And maybe it's a kind of redemption for Jinx, it's still a wound for Vai and me as a spectator. But I'm glad they made up in the end.
I was also sure that Ekko would somehow be able to turn back time to the moment when everyone was alive. Or maybe Victor and Jace will do something similar at the moment of climax. Well, what do we have. For me, this whole story began with love, and ended with it.
This is the very moment when I did not want to end so soon. Even if often "delayed" projects do not meet expectations. I hope that Riot Games will make other projects in this universe on the wave of success
@LUXEON: I read the news that awaits us from the authors: they have been working on a new project for a year and are doing it in the regions of Noxus, Ionia, Demasia. Judging by the ending, Noxus will be next.
It would be great if they announce something next year. And so far there is not even a time frame when something new will come out of them.
The epic was piled up normally. It is clear that this is not a chamber conversation drama, as the first season was. But, in its own way, it's fun. I enjoyed watching it. If I liked the first season with my mind, with my head, then the second one emotionally touched me in a good pop way. Very nice :)
There are no words, only emotions. It's a pity that it ended, especially a pity that it ended like this. Beloved heroes have died, and those who remain will experience loss all their lives. It seems to be a happy ending, but with a strong sediment on my soul...
I don't even know what to think after such a finale... A masterpiece. A work of art. How can I get back to normal after that? :D Loved all the characters of the series too much! But there are even more questions than answers. Was Jinx really dead? The story of the Black Rose seemed to me unsaid, maybe there will be a spin-off? What happened to Heimerdinger in the end?
Anyway, it was such a wonderful trip. Riot Games, my respect. I can't wait to find out what kind of story we'll see next. <3
@wrshpnw: in general, they promised more TV series in this universe and most likely they will make the next one about Noxus. Therefore, yes, unfortunately, a lot of understatements were left.
Within this particular universe, Jinx's death is logical and correct from the perspective of drama. You can atone for your sins as much as you want, but the past remains with us. According to Black Rose, everything seemed very chaotic to me, but I think the message was that she had ulterior motives besides the massacre of Ambessa, which Mel considered her empathic power. I think Heimerdinger died, sacrificed himself to send Ivf into their reality. Apparently, by discovering this anomaly, he erased all objects foreign to this universe that are not inside the sphere. Annihilated himself. Although I would be happy to make a mistake.
The appearance of Jinx on the ball is gorgeous, VERY impressive! I really liked it! Their teamwork with Ecco🔥🔥🔥
I was on pins and needles the whole ending of the series! I had a premonition that this would be the end of it. Jinx's sacrifice for the sake of saving my sister 💔 I just cried the rest of the series 😭😭😭 I thought there would be more tears than there would be after the end of episode 6, but then there was a gap😭😭😭😭
I don't want to believe that her story ended like this.😭
Of course, Jinx wasn't dead, not after all she'd been through... Not after she became big fat hero, not after she finally reunited with Wai and Ekko; of course she survived! Just one of her tricks. And on the piece of paper that Ekko burned and released, Heimerdinger's name was written. And the next morning, Ekko and Jinx just flew away in an airship, as she had always dreamed of since childhood...
I used to have strength, but I ran out of hope I know it's my fault that I'm here all alone This world is a wasteland Please let me go, go, go, go, go, go, go
@Shikisen_Hishune: thanks for the comparative image. It is immediately clear that in a world where everything is bad, a Hexteck Tower has been built, which does not exist in a world where everything is good.
@Shikisen_Hishune: I had no doubt that Heimerdinger's name was written there...
But the fact that Ekko could have flown away with her, I didn't think about it emotionally) It became a little easier 🥹 I really don't want her to be alone after everything she's been through!
I wonder how much this season really highlighted, firstly, how much Silko and his actions contributed to Jinx's problems and how much his presence negatively affected her. And secondly, that Vander and Powder love each other like father and daughter, no less than Vander and Vai. Powder from the alternate universe also had to cope with grief, and Vander was able to provide her with the necessary support. She did not struggle with constant hallucinations, but grew up to be an intelligent, resourceful and compassionate, healthier and stronger version of herself. Someone who is loved, appreciated and who has her own place in the world. And all this even after she faced a huge loss, the death of Vai. This speaks volumes about how Silko projected his own trauma onto her, NOT intentionally. He certainly loved her and in his own way wanted the best for her. But regardless of his intentions, it still happened.
I think it's not just Silko's influence, although that's also the case, but also Jinx's colossal sense of guilt, because, in fact, she became the catalyst for the death of all her loved ones, except Vai
I can't remember the last time I cried like that, but how can you do that?.. Jinx, baby🫂 from the first season, tears welled up when I saw her on the screen, but I didn't expect that she would have such a finale...
Perhaps I will write an unpopular opinion, as from a league player for people who do not play it.
But why? There are a lot of questions that we are not given answers to at the end of the series. Why is Maddie betraying Caitlin, or maybe she was originally a spy? Why is everything that happens to Ambessa and Mel happening at all? Why did they kill Jinx when this death was easily preventable, which makes it much less impactful than even the death of Isha, a minor character whom we knew for 3 episodes. What happened to Jace, Victor, and Heimerdinger? How are they even going to fit the death of 2x and the disappearance/death of 3 other game characters into the ent, as well as the damn war, which, as far as I know, was not even in the ent. In general, the whole concept of timelines / alternate universes visited by the trio of characters...
The series will probably be much more satisfying for non-players, because as a whole it is much better than part of the laura league. What I personally, maybe a lot of people still expected, is the formation of characters as we know them: Jinx wallows in his madness, Victor strives for a Great Evolution, Heimerdinger begins to invent his own crazy machines that the language will not turn to call safe, and so on. What we got was an announcement that everything we knew about the characters would end in this series, whether it was Jinx's madness, Victor's evolution, or even Wai and Caitlin's eternal pursuit of the insane psychopath from Zaun-it was as if it had never been important, it became just a brief episode somewhere between episodes, if not a second in the middle of them.
I really hope that Rayot will give us an explanation for everything that happened, because otherwise it would have been better if the series had not been part of the official canon, as they decided to announce it, because now they have introduced a lot of new ones and taken away a lot of old pieces of information on which the whole ent stood.
There are no emotions, none at all, I hope for the best...
@MaxTundra: ent is being completely rewritten. Now the rito will adapt to the series and the further development of the franchise into something more integral. As far as I know, ENT is now leaky like Swiss cheese, so I hope they will only improve and brighten up something more whole.
@Darth_Rexther: If only it were that simple. Now there is one universe, about a year ago, the Riots declared that they have a common canon everywhere. And if something doesn't match somewhere, then they will redo it and retcon it.
@MaxTundra: I support every word. The indignation from the last act is beyond the limit. Because I know the ENT of the league and for so many years of the game's existence I have formed a certain opinion about each region. All the cinematics for each season contradict what happens in the second season of the Arcane. In my understanding, remaking the ent is a deeper and more detailed study of what already exists, there is a base around which you need to close the ent holes, and not rewrite from scratch and do what did not exist and what all the players believed before the release of the Arcane. You can't just say "well, that's what we decided, in the Arcade like this". And now what should I do with this knowledge and how should I play league of legends, the ENT of which does not correspond. There are a lot of questions, the first season was great, the second, in my opinion, is too pretentious and sucked out of the finger + a lot of details have not been worked out.
@MaxTundra: Why limit yourself to the LORE of MOBS, which was invented on the go, stupidly for promotional campaigns? Maybe you're still waiting for K/DA to be entered into the Arcane? And how do you explain a billion skins, where is Jinx in space or Vai in cyberpunk? The multiverse, that's all. If you haven't noticed, but Jinx and Vai have quite a big difference in design and in the game itself, these are separate skins called Arcane Jinx and Arcane Vi.
The Arcane tells its own separate story, it's good that the authors decided not to limit themselves just to suck up to the canon of MOBS, where the whole point is to demolish the throne. If they brought everything to the gaming canon, it would be crap, without bets and deaths. Oh, you can't kill, because he's the CHAMPION of the game.
@Falleny: Damn, I would watch the season about K/DA. If you think about it that way, then everything is now officially easily explained by parallel universes. Even a line of skins)))
As I understand it, we are not talking specifically about the laura of the game, but about the laura of the universe, which was one, and now it is being reshaped on the go. Specifically about the game, developers have long said that this is just a fantasy on the topic, they say that summoners have gathered and are chasing the characters of the universe. The ent of the universe is a little more complicated, it has already been fixed. Just what TS is talking about - the psychopathic Jinx, trying to catch her, Vai and Caitlin, etc.
@MaxTundra: This is a very simple explanation, as usual in this situation, this is just one of the realities. Even in the league itself, this whole concept is constantly being used. This is just the reality of the Arcane
I've never played at all, but I fully share the comments, starting from the questions why the redhead betrayed Kate, ending with the fact that everything that happened with Ambessa, Mel, Heimendirger, Jace and Victor, this is some kind of sur beyond my understanding
a great ending, such a bittersweet ending The Keithwys are happy, the people have united, Jinx has got her peace and even Jaywick are iykyk partners again (the only thing I don't understand is why they made Maddie a villain because how would??? I understand the keytvi cacon and all that, but it's just a weird twist)
@blksvk: Maddie was a very strong idealist, and people who idealize everything to an extreme degree are very strong (and scary) in their disappointment. I think she idealized Kate very much and when she saw human traits and qualities in her, she was very disappointed and/or jealous of Vai, so she took the other side, and it was more like a personal vendetta (so that Kate felt betrayed and rejected), and not that she was for other troops.
@Taronqwe: Well, obviously not for everyone. Jace probably got drunk in that universe, Vai died in childhood, Victor is quite likely dead/dying of an illness.
As great as the first season was, the second was so bland. The series needed 6 more episodes to properly sum up its key points, but they chose a tiktok narrative to drive and drive the plot further, stuffing it with beach episodes and a bunch of storylines, interfering with everything in a bunch. As a result, we get that in the final episode, in principle, you no longer care about what is happening, you only enjoy the work of artists and animators. The battle of Sevika and Smich is the only justification for the existence of the second season.
I'm flipping through the comments and I think I've lost my mind. It turns out that I'm not the only one with such an opinion. In general, even the first six episodes looked pretty good, but the third act negates everything in general
@Nocturne: I would describe my feelings: it's beautiful, but it's not fucking clear. it turned out to be an experience after the finale, when I watched a video about the narration. they did not convey the facts well, I was getting high from the symbolism of the bible. but I watch and wait every episode, and when something happens, what do they promise? Why don't I understand what's going on and why??
A very eventful season has come out and such a powerful denouement, I'm glad for Kate and Vai, it's so interesting to watch how the characters have grown and matured through the entire series, many have evolved very much.
Victor and James' strong male friendship saved everyone) I want to joke and admire at the same time, a cool series!
I couldn't get rid of the Game of Thrones vibes at the end with these three-eyed crows, it looks like a hint of a sequel, although it doesn't seem to be planned yet
@Liza: This is Svein's raven. If you are not familiar with the League of Legends, then you can read about Svein here: https://universe.leagueoflegends.com/ru_RU/champion/swain/
I would venture to suggest that the next lol animation project will be based around Noxus, its capital, built around the Immortal Bastion and all the local characters. Moreover, the Black Rose has already been partially shown, the Noxians have been shown, well, a hint of Svein's invisible presence behind the scenery of events developing in the Arcane through his raven at the end.
@Liza: многие /почти/ эволюционировали - в этом и смысл концовки. Ну а та где многие таки "эволюционировали" - это где Джейс по пустошам шлялся... Такое себе, имхо лично мне нравится больше без таких "эволюций".
The only thing is, although Jace's last speech to Victor about how to find beauty in imperfection and how our flaws make us human was wonderful, but Victor's illness is absolutely not suitable as an example. Victor was still dying of an illness caused by mining in faults that pollute the air. It was a preventable disease imposed by the corrupt Piltover system, "I can feel myself rotting". In addition, their result is very beautiful and poetic.
@Shikisen_Hishune: I think what was meant here was that Victor himself could not consider himself a full-fledged person (or at least as "normal" as all other people) because of his illness, and therefore Jace simply validated it. Like, yes, you are who you are, and that's fine. And if you were different, nothing would have changed. It's still you and your personality. Regardless of other factors. That is, yes, he would literally love him (in whatever sense you like) in any universe.
Overall, a good ending, but the feeling does not go away that somewhere the creators took a wrong turn. The whole season had a problem with the speed of the plot development, and here in the finale the climax - the plot jumps from one place to another, the characters change so quickly, some have a minimum of time in the plot, still needed another season or an arch to "straighten" all the lines. I can't say that this ended up with a bad ending (it's actually quite good), but because of such a chaotic development in places, they did not reach the top. Animation, sound, and many other aspects are at the highest level, but it's as if they decided to fit 2 seasons into one, which is why it turned out that way.
Ekko is good, he saved everyone, and I liked the first scene of this series with Jinx, I suspected after the words in the last episode that she would try to finish everything, and Vai at this time... + how Vai decided to stand on the platform and suddenly Vander woke up and what it led to - well, this. The strength of Jace and Victor's friendship also saved them, a beautiful moment. Well, Maddy got a nice one after her words, of course)
p.s. in the end, only Sinjed, who returned his daughter, was without losses.
@kobiii: I agree, I also had the feeling that they screwed up everything and more during the season, a lot of lines were developed at once and the completion came out somewhat crumpled.
I guess I was waiting for more, hoping that we would somehow be teased by Svein, Darius, Le Blanc. No, I realized that the crow at the end is probably a reference to Svein, but somehow it's not that. And then somehow it turned out, well, like this is the finale... that's it. The finale itself is also some kind of mess. Someone, someone, something, "and he, and she, fuck you!"(c). In order to feel the finale, some final points are needed, for some reason I immediately remembered Aang, where we probably got the reference finale, we had The super cool fight between Zuko and Azula, Aang and Ozai, who ended their conflict, is a good and long afterword to the conclusion of the main battle. And here, as I wrote above, some kind of vinaigrette, the Arcane was destroyed... end. What's up with Warwick, so he didn't get his wolf face and now looks like a hextec metrosexual. And what, Jinx is dead now, according to Laura, or did she finally go dark!? Most likely the second, judging by the footage of Caitlin looking at the drawings of the tower with its ventilation branches. What's up with Jace!? He just merged with Victor into the hextec of love and both disappeared, hmm ... Ambessa, was she introduced as a game character into the game and then just banged on Laura!? Ha ha ha... not funny. And Mel, will he go to Noxus to take revenge on the black rose!? What kind of magic was it from a black rose that she turned around by setting up her mother, according to all the signs of Le Blanc, but that she was just taken and killed!? Well then lol! Most likely, of course, it will not be Le Blanc, but some of her six, but we still have 5 years to wait for an answer to this question.
@iArtur: And what happened to Hamer, he just disappeared!? Seriously!? Would they have somehow teased him at the end that he flew into another time loop or something... no!? Just died!? Well, it's... uhm... The authors have clearly revised Avengers: Infinity War. Somehow, all the storylines just end with the evaporation of the character. Well, okay, we got a teaser of Orianna, but just barely, a glimpse in the reflection of the mirror. It's not enough for me.
Again, before the release of the second season, Rayot stated that the Arcane canon of Laura, but then they took half of it in the last episode and killed it, although at the same time they added "multiverse", thank you, but they already had enough of this shit in other franchises, you don't have to.
I'll say this, episodes 7 and 8 were great, while watching the seventh episode, I didn't even notice how 40 minutes flew by, it was very interesting to find out where Jace, Hamer and Ekko had been, I repeat, as an injection before the final fight, wonderful episodes. Plus, the story of Ekko is very touchingly shown in another timeline, but the finale does not stand up to any criticism, it is very crumpled, a lot of omissions, a lot of broken storylines, the focus of the narrative jumps from one storyline to another and the eye simply cannot cling to anything. You expect a grand finale from the finale of such a series as Arcane, but here, as if next week, three more episodes should be released that will really complete the story.
I'm glad that most of them liked the ending, I would like it to go in the same way, but it just didn't cause any emotions for me, unfortunately.
@iArtur: gt; but we've already had enough of this shit in other franchises, we don't have to.
Just when other franchises are trying to jerk off into the same universe of games and movies, SHIT comes out. A separate ENT of the series and a separate ENT of the game is the top solution.
@MrSnippy: Have I ever written somewhere that the differences between the laura of the game and the series are bad? Somehow you thought of it for me. Firstly, I think that the plot of the Arcane came out much more interesting and more complete than the lore of Piltover and Zaun in the game. Secondly, personally, I am already tired of the multiverse, which simply devalues the victims of the characters, because you can always pull the same character back into the plot from another universe, and I would like this popular trend to come to naught. And I'm writing for myself, I don't mind if others like stories with multiple realities, I just don't.
And also, if possible, I would like to hear examples where franchises that have a single ENT in a game, movie/TV series, book coincide and it turns out "crap"(if anything, I have no complaints, it's just that I personally can't think of any examples at all).
@MrSnippy: I agree with this example, but it just contradicts your statement. Because from the 4th film onwards, a lot of rubbish and cut-out moments began.
@iArtur: as they say, you can't please everyone here, the series is great, I like everything. If we could do better and give more time and show more, it would certainly be cool. But there is something there. I'm sitting here and reading the comments to understand what I missed while watching.
@iArtur: P.S. I don't think that Mel killed Le Blanc, it's just that her kung fu turned out to be stronger and she pulled herself and her mother out of the paws of the roses. As I understood it, in the last frames we were shown that she had gone home to break faces and figure out who was there
Comrades, have you forgotten who De Blanc is? If you haven't forgotten, then you should understand that she slammed with words like "you're an impostor"
@iArtur: Yes, it's beautiful to look at emotionally, but if you try to figure it out, nothing is clear. There are too many assumptions, too many rules made up out of nothing. We have zombies, we have robots, if a zombie meets a robot, then it becomes a robot. If the blood of the beast is poured into the robot's body, then he stops seeing the spirit of his dead girlfriend. How does it work? We have a black rose. Who is this anyway? The main villain is now at war with the black rose. The black rose has red chains, if you take them with your hands, they become white chains. How? Why? If you jump in time for 4 seconds, you will die, but if you really want to, then no. The main characters cannot be killed even by a direct shot from a grenade launcher, and their agility is like a cat, they always land on their feet, and never break anything. But Jinx just fell down and died. That's it. End.
I don't think Jinx is dead. It's not for nothing that at the end Kate looks at the ventilation shafts holding a piece of a grenade monkey in her hand and smiles, and after that we are shown a blimp flying away into the distance, on which a small Powder dreamed of riding in season 1. Well, it's reasonable that she (Kate) did not tell Vai about it, otherwise she would never calm down. And Jinx herself said that her sister did not need to protect her and it was time to start living her own life. Fortish don't draw anything in vain. So I think Jinx (or Powder) is happily making a fuss somewhere in another part of Runterra.
@amaeru: Or maybe Vai knows? Kate asks her if she will continue to fight, and Vai answers that she has not, that she has let her sister go and remains. Well, that's my guess.
To say that I am very impressed is to say nothing. The first season left a lot of emotions, but the second... It's just a tower in recent years. It's such a breath of emotion, beauty and something big that it takes your breath away.
Of course, there will certainly be some inconsistencies, conflicts with the ENT, and so on. But the story is still impressive.
The story, which in fact began with two sisters and an unsuccessful "business trip" turned into all this. The whole path that the characters have gone from naivety, inexperience to gaining and many losses.
I'm really sorry for Jinx, I wanted her to be happy. Her journey began with the fall and death of people dear to her, and ended with the fall and rescue of her dear sister. Such is the irony of her life.
Victor essentially stopped himself. It was probably a little predictable that he was the stranger.
The arch with Piltover is over, I guess. I don't want to part with the heroes, of course, but alas, the end.
I hope the creators of this masterpiece will not stop and continue the series to continue telling stories about their universe.
Well, I was all in tears and snot, especially with Jace and Victor. Beautifully looped. I will live in denial and believe that Jinx flew away at the end on that airship) The animation in the third act has become EVEN better, although it would seem much narrower In general, of course, I would never have thought that one of my most favorite TV series in the world would be a cartoon about the League
I think that the Mel line got lost in everything that was happening, and the fact that it eventually sails away to Noxus is just a matter of Finally, in Piltover, you can develop real diplomatic relations with a representative of Zaun, Sevika, and she will have to clean up all the garbage that Ambessa left behind. Hurtful. But you can't take away how luxurious her final design is.
I was afraid that the finale would be delayed, but in the end I exhaled.
There is a feeling of completeness; emptiness, too. it was disturbing to watch, and after the finale, the heaviness remained.
Heimerdinger is the most adequate character, so careful, guileless, caring and with a sparkle in his eyes — my number 1;
Jinx and Vai want to hug, their stories hurt my heart;
Ecco is on time and the best support. And touching moments with Powder in a parallel world <3 And if the universe is really infinite, then there is a world somewhere where Vai is alive, and everything has worked out for everyone...
Mel was given the opportunity not to hold back, hooray, it became clearer why she was shown so much (wangyu, that they would make her a playable character)
I sympathize with Caitlin, doubts, pain, resentments, she is for me the most humane and brave (and at the same time not reckless)
I feel sorry for Vander, we (both Jinx and Vai) were cruelly tormented by his short return.
Respect for Sevika and her unconditional devotion to Zaun.
It's like they haven't finished with Jace and Victor. All this magical work, parallel worlds, space, the thing in which Jace hung out — all this blurred their motivation, and relationships, and generally worries about them in general. As if on the one hand something was not explained, but on the other hand - if they had revealed more — it would have become awkward and stupid.
Ambessa is well a wolf, a lioness, but xs, zero positive emotions.
Silko is a pity.
Isha is a pity. Also, as if she was wrong (but who knew)
Maddy was conveniently leaked, but it seems logical.
Ironically, almost the only one who achieved his goal (by the way, I did not understand how) is Sinjed. At the same time, it turns out that half of the madness would not have happened if it hadn't been for him?
And there are many, many minor characters, for whom you also have time to cross over a little (although somewhere they did not twist a little kmk)
@shurshik: In general, thanks for the worries, my heart ached
But if you look at it in general, it seemed to me that the whole story with Hextek, Arcane, magic, and the Black Rose is some kind of not fully explained ENT, which rather serves as an aid to reveal the characters, their ideas, and motivation.
What are the runes? Where did all this come from? Why did it work like that? What does anyone need from these higher powers? Or are they just there?
There are a lot of questions, no answers, but I don't even want to find out. I don't think that's what I was looking for. The characters and their stories will remain in the heart for a long time.
The picture is 10/10, the soundtrack is too.
My admiration, they did not stretch it out for a million seasons. Although I would like to watch a couple more side stories about this universe...
And the main indicator is that it's hard to switch to the real world after it, which means that something really hooked me in all this
So, I want to reassure everyone: 1) A purple trace is visible in the freeze frame just before the explosion, this always appears when Jinx uses the power of flickering. 2) Caitlin studies the ventilation scheme of the gate, holding a fragment of a bomb in her hand, that is, it turns out that they searched everything, but found only a fragment. And she smiles, realizing that Jinx is alive. 3) The very first phrase of Powder in the first episode of the first season is " One day, I'll ride on such a thing " when she looks at the airship, exactly the same as shown at the end.
@blax37: Caitlin studies the ventilation scheme of the gate, holding a fragment of a bomb in her hand, that is, it turns out they searched everything, but found only a fragment.
Yeah, they didn't find gloves either (probably took away a live BB as well). You put an owl on a globe.
It's strange that you still have Loris (just unconscious from arrows lying around, alive), Isha (death was not shown), Jaysavictor (just moved to another universe), Ambessa (her clone created by Darkrose died) did not revive.
@MrSnippy: A globe for an owl. Maybe I figured it out with the body search, but the whole scene with Caitlin, who for some reason holds a piece of Jinx's bomb and looks at the gate ventilation schemes and smiles, is a fat hint.
@blax37: and why calm anyone down? All characters who are game champions in lola automatically receive scenario armor, since the events of the Arcane are the backstory of some of the lola characters, and since they exist in the current lola timeline, they will survive in the backstory by themselves
The only thing is that the developers will need to slightly update some biographies in the game and on the universe website, for example, Jace and Victor, in order to adjust them to the events of the Arcane
@Karrong: gt;All characters who are game champions in lola automatically receive scenario armor, since the events of the Arcane are the backstory of some of the lola characters, and since they exist in the current lola timeline, they will survive in the backstory by themselves
Ambessa sends her regards, keck. No, the game and the animated series have separate canons. The characters of the game may well die in the animated series, as shown.
@Karrong: and how to calculate Vi in a parallel universe? It turns out that some died in this one, others in that one. But in general, I agree about Jinx - she probably survived this one.
A lot has already been said here, and I'll add about the third-rate characters - who were even without words throughout both seasons, but their story was shown from beginning to end. This is a woman with a gray streak in her hair, whose son was injured in the terrorist attack of Jinx and then died from merging with Viktor, and a volunteer peacemaker guy, and a buggy from Zaun. It's so cool)
It's a pity for all those who died, but the series was about three conflicts, where a common trouble and an enemy finally helped to solve everything: - Zauna and Piltover - Victor and Jace - Vi and Jinx
And it is possible that at the end of the credits without music, it's even better - they allow you to think about everything.
I don't believe she was murdered. The devastation is complete after watching. I think Kate realized that Jinx could have survived. She understands that Vai does not agree in spirit with her sister's death either. And for the sake of Vai's peace of mind, she would find her.
How I flowed over Kate in the first season, and how I flow over Vai in the second! I was worried a lot, it was expected that some kind of epic death scene was waiting for us, but it was all so great that in my heart I think it should have been like this! ps/ thank you for such a great series, I didn't want to break away from any series for a minute, even on notifications on my phone, you savor every minute with your eyes and heart 🩷 it is mandatory to recapitulate and of course, we are waiting for the continuation, even if not specifically with these characters!!
To sum up, the Arcane is one of the best animation projects in general at the moment. It is difficult to estimate the number of man-hours spent in these series, given that one animator does one scene for two months.
Regarding the ending, a lot was left unsaid, apparently left for the next series.
I will really miss the fandom and the avatars with Jace, I haven't felt such an atmosphere in the community for a very long time.
A little personal experience. During the homo flight of Jace and Victor, my light was turned off right at the moment of the flash, the people reached out to our reality)
I hope fortish will also try to work on each series and it will not turn into a stupid conveyor belt. At least the arcane will forever be a masterpiece of animation.
Regarding Hymendinger, if Rito did not rewrite the lore regarding yordley, then Hymer is immortal, but most likely he was taken somewhere to another universe. I hope there will be at least a glimpse of it in the next series.
Thanks to the fandom and thanks to fortish. I would like to see more of such a multifaceted series in every frame of which huge efforts of artists are invested, and I am sure that this is just the beginning.
Well I do not know. Naturally, visually, this is an excerpt of the tower without any questions. Who would doubt it. The final with the sisters and so on is normal, it will go. But this whole topic around incomprehensible otherworldly energy is some kind of hat, to be honest. Of course, it was in the first season, but this is not exactly what I personally wanted to see here. And I wanted to see how the sisters would confront each other. How Jinx would bend the entire lower city under her (and there was a good step towards this when she made a hand to Sevika). How the grandmother will really go over the heads (for two seasons I did not wait for a normal action with her). How the characters will really stand on different sides and start kneading each other. As a result, Jinx is the fictitious leader of the lower city, punch-shit, squeeze out tears at the expense of the child and flashbacks, pull Dad out of the bushes to rally the sisters again and that's it. Although of course I wildly liked the kneading with the cat in the first act and Sevika's new hand - that was just very cool. In the third act, there is a crazy alternative timeline. It sounds like so-so, but it's not, it's just that this whole rut about arcane energy or whatever this shit is called is just some kind of nonsense.
Fallout is still the best film adaptation of the game \_(ツ)_/
@Casualpes: Yes, let it be called whatever you want. The series was about sisters and the lower/upper districts of the city. And then suddenly some kind of ultimate magic and the salvation of the whole world.
It seems to me that this story would have turned out better if the creators had focused on the local history of the sisters in the context of the confrontation between Piltover and Zaun. But this magic, the salvation of mankind... the pathos that spoils everything. It's still a very beautiful project, but the content has lost a lot compared to the first season. The author planted the time bombs themselves, which began to explode in the final chapter. And it probably became inevitable with such storylines that had to be completed somehow. After all, the series is called "Arcane", not "Sisters".
What a sad ending to such a gorgeous series, well, the highest art is for you and that's it. It was impossible to take my eyes off during both seasons, with a sinking heart every episode after episode. It hurts so much for all the characters, they have suffered so much in full. Jinx and Vai finally became a family again, though not for long (or is there still hope?). Kate and Vai are still endgame, thank God. All the storylines were so beautifully wrapped up to the finale, none of the characters were left without attention. My heart aches for Wender and Isha, I so wanted a different fate for them. Ekko and Heimerdinger are handsome, the hope and support of the whole Arkane world. As for Jace and Victor, I thought until the very finale that their storyline was overdone, although I do not dispute that it was epic. I want to believe that now there will be quiet times in Piltover and Zaun. In general, I dream of a sequel, at least in some form, so I don't want to say goodbye to the characters :(
I'm the only one who thinks that if Jinx survived, then, on the one hand, it's very cool, but on the other hand, it completely devalues her act, especially in the context of her words, well, it's just far—fetched.
@tyashkin: Why does it devalue? She saved her sister, and this mirrored scene with the fall. For the first time, she saved and fell and killed almost all the people dear to her, here she saved Vai and also in the fall and, in fact, by staging, cut off the painful connection with her sister. I think she just decided to move on without her sister.
Despite the fact that there are many good moments in the season, but I agree with the opinion of one of the speakers above that the second season feels like a hastily made sequel for tick-tok fans. Maximum actions for 1 minute of timing, maximum rides on an emotional swing. But in fact, for a clear closure of all branches, it was necessary to have 4-5 more episodes. BUT GOD FORBID SOMEONE GETS BORED. In general, if the first season was a clear and thoughtful adventure for 9/10, then the second season is a mess of a bunch of hastily closed branches and a bunch of scenes in order to shed a tear for 6/10. It would take another year for them to prescribe a clear script, but we have what we have. The overall feeling of the series is heavily blurred due to the approach of "cutting money before they forget about us"
@AngelMaker: in fact, everything is simpler: the production of the second season was very expensive, and therefore it was decided to finish the story on the second season, so they crammed the maximum into 9 episodes to complete the story without the need for an extension for season 3.
Interestingly, it turns out that Vander is still not Warwick, since in the final the appearance of Vander changes (in lola, Warwick's native appearance is closer to Vander before Victor's transformation). Apparently Singed will then conduct another experiment on someone to repeat the first one, and then we will get Warwick.
@Karrong: Legends of Runeterra (LoR) added 2 champions this month: Ambessa and Warwick, so I think it's still Warwick. And the way he was shown with a thirst for blood is also similar to him. But Victor seems to be able to evolve anyone, no matter which character.
I didn't believe in Victor's transformation at all. Yes, there is a hint that he was undermined by the moment when Jace killed him and everyone started fighting. But he refused to use Vander's blood in the last scene, and the hints that his society would die with him did not bother him. And now suddenly he's fine. It is also not clear why his pawns (albeit with roy's consciousness) have no memory. Victor risked his life to bring Vander back to consciousness. And now Vander, healed by him, does not recognize Vai and Jinx.
Let's say he thought that individuality is evil and the cause of conflict. But their transition to a different worldview is not really shown, which is why it is perceived by a piano in the bushes.
Why is the world destroyed in the same way? Victor says that perfection is bad. OK. But where is it? We don't see the world of the collective mind - we see ruins. Although it is implied that he won? It is unclear how he got a human face in the future where everyone is turned into mechs. And who discovered hextek in the first branch of reality, before Jace did it? Some questions.
Even at the end, I had a strong feeling that the destruction that had occurred simply did not correlate with their cause. A strange ending, very strange...
@Celesgosa: > And now Vander, healed by him, does not recognize Vai and Jinx.
All his memories were erased, Sinjed with his drug. It was also said about it directly, and even the footage was how all his memories are burned forever...
@MrSnippy: there were shots, but he was in the collective consciousness, through which Victor, if desired, could return a lot. He had been crawling in his head for quite a long time. The question is why it suddenly stopped being important to him.
@Celesgosa: Because Victor lost all hope after Jace hit on him. He also says before "death" that the doctor was right about people's emotions. And Victor came to the conclusion that collectivism is evolution. The swarm does not presuppose the presence of personalities, there is only one common mind.
@Mayers: to believe in such a drastic character change, you clearly need something more. The words Victor said after Jace's attack do not imply a desire to immediately turn people into a swarm and allow his forces to destroy the Piltover. To justify such apathy and cruelty, it was clearly necessary to show the character change in more detail. Here, literally, the series ends with the fact that he sacrifices himself and his society for the sake of one, and the next begins with the fact that he no longer cares about the lives of everyone. It is clear what the authors wanted to say, but emotionally and plot-wise this transition is not shown. It is the viewer who thinks out for the screenwriters what they wanted to show there. There were no such problems in the first season.
@Celesgosa: It's hard to say, considering that I personally don't fully understand what Victor eventually became, whether it was all his will or the force that influenced him. Maybe the more he lost his human form and appearance, the less empathy he had for people. Jace smashed him up a lot there. In principle, the magical aspect is still unclear. Maybe in other seasons to explain for magic. At first it seemed to me that it was all the power of the abyss. But xs. I don't know ent very well Lol.
@Mayers: That's the trouble with xs. The task of the screenwriters was to show this. What did Victor become, why did he change, how did he travel on timelines, etc. But they didn't do it. Victor's development before Jace's shot looks smooth now. And then it's just like they change the character to someone else without much explanation, apparently so that the plot happens. It is not clear why the idea of uniting people in a swarm leads to the end of the world. So that there is no moral dilemma for the audience, which is better a world with emotions, but suffering, or a world without emotions, but also without war? Because in fact, if you take the first half of the hex-Victor arch, it led to this question. And in the end it all came down to the primitive "he went crazy and broke the world". If the world in the future were shown as Victor's attempt to build a utopia similar to his village, but destroyed due to war with other countries, then the conflict would be much more gray. And Victor would then give the crystal to Jace, because in none of the branches of time would he be able to create the world he dreamed of. This would lead to a catastrophe, but explained in a plot way. Now, due to Victor's poorly defined motivation, the arch of redemption at the end does not look particularly convincing. At least for me. The main characters of the Arcane have always been spelled out beyond the banal "these are right - and these are not." Immediately, instead of a conflict of different ideas, they prescribed just a straightforward " Victor is wrong, and Jace is right". Slick is a simple ending to the plot for the level raised by the series initially.
@Celesgosa: Yes, but considering the framework in which the creators of the series were put: money and time. At least that's how they explained who is doing this or that and why.
The idea of unification did not lead to the end of the world, it led to utopia. The typical idea is "There is no life without struggle." It's corny, I agree.
And it's not Jace who's right here, but Victor from the future, he argued and argued with himself. It's just me, I'm going crazy).
No, in general, your take is more than completely fair. I just think the creators did as much as they could. The series already turned out to be the most expensive of all the hand-drawn ones that exist at the moment.
Visually, the series went far beyond just outstanding to some kind of exorbitant level. But I didn't like the script in the second season. The narrative is wildly ragged and chaotic, you don't have time to understand and feel one line, as you are already being piled on top of three, because of this, I personally had significantly less emotional involvement than in the first season, when each arch gave a cool catharsis, exploring some central theme. It's all kind of everywhere at once, and again with the fucking multiverse, for God's sake. There were almost no moments, except for the very first episodes, where you could just get into what was happening and feel something. The general plot did not seem to be thrown from the first episodes to the tryndets in the last. What about the roses, what about Mel, why she believed these witches and accepted what kind of brother, what happened there and what is the essence of this line of hers... Jinsk as a switch was switched several times during the season with her behavior, then she is a sociopath in psychosis, then suddenly she is adequate and empathic, then she is negotiable, then again in a circle. The first season built its development very clearly and clearly, it was tragic and very painful, but it did not raise questions in terms of reliability and validity. There's a mess right there, as if they didn't know what to write to her next. The line with Vander doesn't seem to be needed at all, if you think about it. Rather, she is needed to bring the sisters together, so that... what? For Jinx to heroically save Piltover in the end? She could have done it anyway, by and large. And why did the Zaunians run to fight, their conflict there turned into a hot stage, it's not going to be canceled so easily. Their realistic social confrontation was replaced by heroism against an external enemy out of nowhere, will this solve the problems of the city? No, it won't solve it. In short, all this can, of course, be justified, but the problem is that it was not on the screen. I'm not that disappointed, the spectacle is still amazing, but it's like the material for two seasons was stuffed into one, with all the consequences.
@ShaMarinka: We have already answered above. That they planned for 3 seasons, but the budget was limited to 2. And for this, everything they wanted was put together as best they could in season 2. As for the set of lines, I also agree that it is difficult to keep track of everything. Since Season 1, I thought that the series was based on the magical properties of the Arcane, as the series itself is called, and then a lot of Jinx and other main and less main characters were added, but their lines and plot are also important. But it was all so fast that not everything was clear. In any case, the series is top, and there would be more of them.
@ShaMarinka: I disagree about the Jinx arch. It is served quite consistently: first, apathy, farewell to the past and the desire to put an end to the conflict with Wai - thanks to Ishi and the support of the residents of Zaun, a new meaning to live appears, Jinx feels better and more humane - there is a new, peaceful way to resolve the conflict with Wai, reunification affects her even better. I don't see any sudden jumps here. Even more than that, after Isha's death, it would seem that she could have a new round of madness, as many expected... but no, the new and more human Jinx simply completely broke down, having already gone into self-destruction, and not the destruction of everything and everything around her, which was peculiar to her before. If it wasn't for Ekko, her ending would have been the saddest in the series.
They wrote above about Eva's vibes, and I had strong Dragonlens vibes. There are parallels with Raistlin's story. There is a magician (a scientist here) who became a deity who destroyed everything and remained alone in the void. An important person for him gets into this future (Jace here, Caramon there) and sees what happened. Then this person gets back to the past and this magician sees through his memory that everything is broken in the future and eventually decides to cancel everything. Only the arch of redemption worked much better there, because almost all the damage done would have been canceled. And then a lot of people died and because of this reconciliation looks more strained.
@Celesgosa: Oh my God, it's a joy to meet someone who remembers Dragonlance! Do you probably know the musical too? "I don't want to be alone so much... The Lord of Nothing!!" - Victor literally sang at the end, ahaha
A masterpiece in terms of visual and musical parts. There is a more complex attitude to the plot, some stories are catchy, some are not. Some characters generally went by the wayside, which is why those in the first one had to repeat their already happened showdowns several times. There is also a feeling that the first season was more mature, deeper and more leisurely. The second one became more clip-based, so many events were crammed into each episode, as if there should have been a third, but they were combined into one. After each episode of the second season, you sit and realize for a couple more minutes what you just saw. But what cannot be taken away from the project is how every important moment emotionally hits the very heart. Absolute satisfaction for Sevika, who has become a full-fledged representative of the lower city in the council 🦾
@GonReborn: I assume that season 1 was supposed to tell about Zaul (lower town), season 2 about Piltover (upper town), and already in season 3 get a general battle to protect Piltover and Zaul.
@vomper: there are several games that tell about different characters from the universal League of Legends. For example, the last thing that came out was Conv/rgence: A League of Legends Story about Ekko in Piltover and Zaul.
The second season is beautiful, epic and ambitious. They shoved in the unintelligible. Unfortunately, there were not enough episodes so that it would not seem okroshka. After all, the first season was stronger and more dramatic. With a series with a parallel dimension, we could play the ending of season 2 (ala Darkness). But thanks for the series. 9 out of 10. 10 for season 1 and 8 for the second.
I suspect it was the 1st and last series of this level, no matter how they talk about "250 million? Pf, nonsense, we're OK, but the series was obviously forced to close because the budget is astronomical,
And then it seems that this case will be greatly curtailed
@VioletShiny: according to the views, it is better to have a series for 250 lakhs than a movie. Since the total amount of time spent by the viewer is taken into account. Then I think a great TV series will make a movie based on this indicator.
This is one of the legendary TV series now. What kind of drawing, what techniques, is it even possible? The end, of course, was crumpled up all the same. And it's too bitter. There hasn't been a happy ending here since the first episode, although there was a glimmer of hope somewhere) But with such a template move, it would hardly be possible to achieve the resulting masterpiece)
vague feelings from the ending, as if they were cut off very abruptly, I would like that after the battle each character was given at least a full-fledged scene, and not a couple of frames, given that this is the finale of the series, and not just the season
I still didn't like how they made the situation with Jinx's death (although most likely she is alive, but still), namely that it did not happen at some decisive moment of the battle, but somehow stupid, senseless and out of the blue, because of which it did not cause proper emotions and the finale was watched with an emoji of perplexity on the fuck and hoping at least for a scene after the credits, but alas... as a result, there was a residue of some kind of emptiness with an understatement
perhaps the new warwick is to blame for everything, namely, why is he some kind of useless full? in episode 4, he was shown perfectly, there was an aura of instant death right through the screen, and now he just grabbed several times during the whole fight (!?) Jinx and Vi, and that's it, like... What the fuck? in theory, he didn't have the beginnings of Vander's mind left, he should be a death machine, no..? did you feel then he didn't tear them in a second, wtf? perhaps because of this, the scene with Jinx caused only bewilderment, because there was no threat at all
well, the blue man is a legend, he survived all this massacre being a minor character, respect to him, worried about his life more than his own, was sure that he would be merged after the man who looks like Vander (F by the way)
@garbisik: well, the blue man is a legend, he survived all this massacre as a minor character, respect to him, worried about his life more than his own
Well, soooooo ... the whole season gives events in broad strokes, jumping from one to the other. And these twists are in the spirit of Brazilian TV series (and dad is not dead). And Yesus with AliExpress.
@AlexandrGerman: references to Jesus in the image of Victor are too much felt. And the topic is already wildly hackneyed in culture. But the visual of his powers is beautiful, much more interesting are the pure mechs from the game itself.
The Alchemist/The doctor still defeated death, I'm glad for him, he was able to achieve what he wanted. There are a lot of interesting characters. I wonder if there will be a sequel in this series or if they will make another one.
@Taronqwe: I was looking for this comment, because they quickly showed this moment. Does it turn out that Victor exposed his daughter and did not connect her to a single mind? Is that why you managed to revive her?
@madlenowl: I advise you to reconsider. And listen carefully to the doctor. He used the liquid he received from Varvik and Victor to give it to his daughter. Previously, it was shown how he connected the liquid to its capsule. He probably did the same thing behind the scenes when he collected the necessary information from Varvik and Victor. Because a lot of things behind the scenes are just guesses. But in the reflection you can see that it is made like a figurine from a music box, it also looks in the game.
It will be interesting if it's all shown for a reason, and she will appear in the next series on League of Legends.
Isha and Jinx have the most useless deaths, I am unhappy with the ending in this regard. And the rest of the series is gorgeous! Regarding them, I will explain, what is the meaning of Isha's death if he was resurrected anyway? Jinx wouldn't have died if it weren't for Vai's stupidity, it's just ridiculous, I feel very sorry for her. They've buried Dad three times already, how can you react like that for the first time(
Ambiguous attitude towards the final. So many questions, sit and think about what the canon is 🧐 What is the essence of the conflict between Ambessa and the Black Rose in general? A mysterious figure from Jace's childhood, aka Victor, generally from where when how. (Maybe, of course, it should be carefully reviewed and it will become clearer)
@Ganter: I reviewed this point again. It turns out that this is real, Victor gave him different runes every time in different worlds. And it looks like James got into one of those worlds and saw his demise. Thus, James handed the rune to Victor (because his friend Victor asked him to do this) and showed the result of his actions.
Anyway, it's all very beautiful, the music is top, but the plot is very confusing.
I'm sure the wiki for the series will do a full analysis of all the events...
I also want to make my contribution in the form of a comment on the latest series of the Arcane. it was a masterpiece, beautiful and powerful! The characters are a delight! no wonder we waited 3 years. I will definitely review it. Jinx, my heart is crying. It's sad that nothing worked out for him and Ekko in this universe. and this scene where Ekko sat and lit this piece of paper in memory of Jinx 😭💔
The music is gorgeous, I can't stop myself. The series is over, but I keep listening to the music. https://open.spotify.com/artist/57nPqD7z62gDdq37US9XJR
Shtosh, the animation, of course, is off the head, every penny is visible, but this time it was not possible to jump above the head, I did not catch the ecstasy of the level of the first season. The plot - I join the dissatisfied ones: it seemed wildly chaotic, they tried to stuff too much, in some episodes at the junction of breaks there was a feeling that I had missed some series. Because of this, somehow the emotional connection with the characters is lost - Victor becomes an antagonist at the moment, nothing is clear about Mel at all, Jace wandered somewhere there and Caitlin changes sides somewhere off-screen. Jinx's redemption - well, it will go with beer, you could add more Power, it would be more interesting than with a child and Vander. As a result, I only feel sorry for Heim)) The finale is kind of beautiful, but somehow it doesn't even feel like a finale, they barely managed to show Mel, Ekko and a couple.
They had as many as 3 episodes, the whole 3rd act, about 131 minutes, and still failed to keep up competently. Season 2 is good for those who are not familiar with the league at ALL and will not play in the future. Season 2 is good for those who want to LOOK at the visual, effects, animation in general. Season 2 is good for those who just ENJOY what's happening on screen without getting too involved in the plot. BUT. Season 2 is NOT for league players from the word at all - here is a different canon, the character of the characters, frankly noticeable plot holes and fanservice for the sake of fanservice (perhaps this is a common problem with netflix, I'm not going into it) season 2 is NOT for those who follow the arches of the heroes and expect logical actions from them - they will not be, that's all they act irrationally, it remains to admire the picture Season 2 is NOT for fans of a good script and measured tempo - here the whole narrative is chaotic and we managed to relax only in a different timeline of the 7th series - thanks Amanda Overton - otherwise: we brewed a lot of porridge, which needs to be finished as soon as possible, because the budget is not rubber, and the rito is still skins to do
Additions with a common problem: 1. Add Isha = a classic cliche in which a child is added to a "not very" positive character to show this "not very" character on the positive side. Only Jinx would have looked just as good without her. Especially after Isha's death didn't change anything at all. What's the point of this at all, except for a cinematic frame and a hook to hold the viewer? An attempt at empathy? The attempt is frankly weak. You don't have time to get into it. 2. The Arch of Mel is a quiet horror, if you consider it WITHOUT further continuation. Some hints and guesses about future projects. Nothing concrete. Again, there is no time to get into it. 3. The Jinx Arch feels smeared without the proper and inherent madness. It simply does not become the one we see in the game. Here she is either a child, then tightly beaten off - guess what I'll throw away from the screenwriters. We are at war with Vai, then we forgive and now besti sis. The same problem - there is no time to understand what they tried to squeeze out of it in terms of the serial canon. 4. All those who were killed in the end during the scuffles had nothing behind their soul. Who are they, what are they? Should they be pitied? They stretched out the cron with a battle, although they could have spent it on the same Jace and Victor and their conflict. They needed it more, because again there is no time to realize anything, except that everything was looped by a repentant Victor in a hood. 5. The Warwick Arch is in the same place as Jinx. Singe pumped him up so much that even Victor, who had previously dripped on his brain, influenced all the other dolls under his command when he disappeared, but did not affect Warwick in any way? Is he some kind of outsider to him? He forgot everything related to Powder and Vai, the past, himself-okay, and then?) And then the end of the season. There is no time to understand. 6. The arches of Wai and Caitlin are just past all sympathy. It was necessary to stop at kissing in the first episodes. At least you believe that. BUT NO, WE DON'T HAVE TIME, so here's all you can do :) Yeah :)) thanks? :))) Even the jerks from Jace and Victor had more chemistry than in prison between Vai and Caitlin, sori not sori. Was it really worth sleeping with Kate before, and not after saving Jinx, who wants to make ends meet against the background? The mystery of the screenwriters. By the way, those who wrote the 1st and 9th episodes together in the 1st season. And they also wrote the 9th in the 2nd season. It turned out to be a wild regression.
Conclusion: Timing NEEDS to be done more, because the problem is not so much in the characters, but in how little they manage to reveal themselves during these 9 episodes. It's like we're back to where we started.
Bottom line: Either in the end, screenwriters Alex Yi and Christian Linke failed, or director Arnaud Delors is simply nothing without Pascal Charrue. I have no other explanation. How could you make such a good 1st season, but such a controversial 2nd? Sur and mysticism.
@milvus72: > Timekeeping NEEDS to be done more The scenes with Ekko in a parallel world are clearly superfluous. Fundamentally, they don't carry anything to the plot, they just took up time. There would be a hurry to do something "what if everything was fine"
@vk922554: His scenes in a parallel world cannot be removed, because they go linearly with the way Jace walks-wanders through another parallel world) In this case, it is necessary to redo the direction of the series altogether. As an option: do one series under Ekko and Hamer, the other under Jace. But again, the same problem - there is not enough time. And so we have episode 7, which is literally about where they moved and what they were doing. Another solution is if the appearance of Ekko in the episode is further curtailed, then Jace needs more events. Otherwise, there is no balance. Maybe you didn't like the alternate universe itself or didn't like Ekko himself? Because his already rare appearances don't spoil anything at all. And it's not that someone has been given the events. On the contrary, they didn't give it to anyone. After all, without scenes with Ekko in another world, it just turns out to be a series about Jace. Ekko and Hamer remain in the middle of nowhere, which means that this will be a plot hole, another question hanging in the air. If you dislike the character himself, then say so. If I perceive it incorrectly, then also clarify.
@milvus72: Of course, I haven't played the game, but the impressions are very similar. The screenwriters simply cut off the plot branches, resolve them somewhere behind the scenes and force the characters to instantly change by 180 for no reason at all, because the plot does not stick. Perhaps they would have had enough timekeeping for everything they wanted, but they need to introduce some kind of Black Rose that looks like a fifth leg, some parallel worlds that play a role only in one series and only with Ekko. Because, apparently, the screenwriters watched Gurren-Lagann and they liked the dramatic series about how the characters give up life in a better world for them, I do not know.
@Mayers: I can hardly imagine a person who is like that "yes, that was such an incredibly interesting story about a Black Rose! I want another series about it!"
@Mayers: well, OK, maybe for fans of the game that are rummaging for other regions and for what a Black rose is, it may be interesting. The average viewer will not understand from this series who it was and why.
@Mira5: I'm not into the laura league topic, but I'm interested too :) it is clear from the series that this is some kind of society with an entertaining, apparently special magic and its own movement, which I would like to learn more about
@GeistLuft: well, then I can be glad that the authors of the Arcane know their audience. If you didn't have a story about the Black Rose, you wouldn't want to watch future seasons, but they showed them to you, and now you want another season about them. Then it was definitely in the subject and certainly very necessary in the story about Victor, James, the sisters, Piltover and Zaun.
@Mira5: this is usually how new leads are introduced for new projects in the universes, a little in other stories so that the series is not from scratch and is connected with other projects, including, is this a bad thing, besides, this plot is still not completely unnecessary in the arcane, because it revealed the powers of Mel, and she played a role in the final battle including
@GeistLuft: if this line wasn't so useless and the lines of more important characters weren't sacrificed for it, then I wouldn't say a word. There is and there is. But in this form, when we have an already chaotic season, the plot about the Black Rose, which will make sense sometime in the future, but now it is not needed for anything except to give superpowers to Chalk, looks absurd. When you concentrate the story around such references, then you get Marvel 4-phase movies, which you need to watch tons of content to understand what's what.
@Mayers: No, actually, the rules are always simple: if you don't have time, don't shove fillers. In the first season, for example, we somehow managed to do without it.
@Mira5: Тогда никто бы не выжил во время выстрела Джинкс в совете. Это ж силы Мэл смягчили удар. Вопросы задаю, чтобы и самой подумать, правы вы или нет. С кем-то рассуждать всегда интереснее.
@Mayers: Uh, no, what made you decide? If the authors had not focused on this, then none of the viewers would even have thought about why some characters died from the shot, while others survived. It's just an extra detail that doesn't affect anything.
@Mayers: they could have arranged the characters accordingly in advance in the first season. Those who die are closer to the window. That's all. There is absolutely no need to enter a black rose line for this.
@Mayers: again, this is something that needed no explanation. At the very least, you can insert a flashback in a couple of seconds, as the Chalk moves away from the impact. It's rare, but it's better than inserting a meaningless line for an entire season. Or next season, when there will be a full-fledged line with Black roses, explain this. Nothing terrible would have happened if the audience hadn't found out the answer right now. It is much more important to finish the story, for which the viewer turned on the second season at all. And this is not a story of Black Roses. And how, I'm sorry, did it help her that she was sent to Piltover? On the contrary, the plot hole is solid. Mel got these Black Roses stolen right in Piltover, and Ambessa doesn't care, she's not looking for her, she's hunting Vander, lol. Very logical. Why will she disappear? In the first season, for some reason, no one had any questions about why Ambessa came to Piltover, although there were no Black Roses. And this season, this conflict does not help us in any way to understand her motivation, since we do not know at all what kind of troubles Ambessa has with the Czech Republic, who they are and where they come from. They haven't been revealed to us anyway.
@Mira5: // And how, excuse me, did it help her that she was sent to Piltover? It helped for a while, until Ambessa showed up at Piltover, we were shown how first Rose found Ambessa and began to threaten her, and only then Mel's abduction happened.
// Mel, these Black Roses were stolen right in Piltover, and Ambessa doesn't care, she's not busy looking for her, but hunting Vander, lol. Very logical.
What could she have done? There are clearly no magicians in her army to help Mel in any way, so she focused on Victor and Vander. Besides, yes, we see that for this character, strength is above sentiment. And I guess Ambessa was sure that because of Mel's magical abilities, Rosa wouldn't kill her.
// In the first season, for some reason, no one had any questions about why Ambessa came to Piltover
How is that? Mel has questions, and she tells Jace about it, that she knows her mother and she didn't just come here to see her daughter.
//And this season, this conflict doesn't help us understand her motivation in any way
It helps, the Black Rose is an order of magicians, therefore the Ambessa needs something equal in their strength. And it was clear to me even before I started digging into Laura Lol. The fact that they were not fully disclosed is a fact and will obviously be transferred to another series Lol. And in the Arkane, these were hints and clues for the future. As already mentioned above. And at the same time, somehow uprooting the Black Rose from the plot will entail a failure in this very plot. The fact that Rose has not been fully revealed does not mean that this storyline is unimportant. This only suggests that the authors needed a 3rd season, which would gently lead us to the Knoxus region.
@Mayers: "first, Rosa found Ambessa and began to threaten her, and only then Mel's abduction happened" And it doesn't make any sense at all, because literally every dog knows that Mel is the daughter of an Ambessa. It wasn't some kind of classified information. The only reason why CR grabbed the Chalk right now is because the authors decided to introduce CR into the narrative right now. "And what could she do?" Well, the CR still hasn't killed her, so she could have done something. Moreover, she has runes that counteract magic. What should be so interesting about Vander to leave his daughter in the hands of his son's murderers? It's just a big animal, it won't do anything against magic anyway, that is, it's useless for confrontation with the Czech Republic. "Mel has questions" And Mel immediately replied that Ambessa had come for Hextek. It was logical: the ruler came for the sake of a new promising development in order to get it for her country. This is logical and sufficient. The whole canoe with Black Roses did not add anything to her motivation. "And at the same time, somehow uprooting the Black Rose from the plot will entail a failure in this very plot" No, this filler teaser of the next season can be painlessly removed from the second season altogether. The CRS are literally not connected to any other character except Mel and Ambessa. Deleting this line is not a problem at all, leaving at most the usual mention in the dialog. Like, anyway, we need to protect our country from magicians. And the second season still won't give us a deeper context.
@Mayers: //About every dog that knows she's her daughter. I don't remember, but I don't think anyone talked about it much before Ambessa came to Piltover.
Sailoh tells Ambessa in the third episode that Mel would never have achieved such influence in Piltover if she hadn't been a representative of the House of Medarda. So, after all, everyone in the city knew whose daughter she was.
@Mayers: I don't remember, but I don't think anyone talked about it much before Ambessa appeared in Piltover." It mentioned that they were from the same clan and that's why Mel became a member of the council. Finding Chalk in this case is not a problem at all. She is one of the rulers in the famous city of inventors, literally in full view of the whole world. What should I look for here? "I agree that I know all this only because I read part of the lore." I, as an ordinary viewer, did not read the additional lore. I just see how Ambessa didn't care that her daughter was kidnapped and went about her business. At the same time, she constantly pretentiously says something like "for the family", as if she is filming another part of the Fast and Furious. If the authors cannot fully introduce this line so that they can understand the motives of the characters, then they should not have done so. "The mother's head was normally blown away by Victor's forces." Which, in general, made Noxus some kind of boring infernal evil that is ready to give the lives and minds of its citizens to some incomprehensible type with murky goals for the sake of power. " I repeat, there would have been no loss of Mel, Kate would not have gained power, and Ambessa would not have gained control of Piltover. And let's be honest, Kate wouldn't have taken out against the Ambessa without Mel." Why? Mel does not take out against the mother, as was demonstrated last season. In addition, Mel could have been brought out of Peltover in a scenario, sending her along with James, Ekko and Heimendinger. It's just that in episode 7, which can be compressed a little, there would be another parallel line about her, where she sees something interesting about her mother and Noxus. Well, or something like that, it's like one of the options. In general, there are thousands of ways to get Chalk out of Peltover and kill Ambessa. To do this, you do not need to enter an additional plot about a Black rose.
@Mayers: well, that's why it's absurd to waste time on a filler about a Black rose, which can be painlessly cut out. It's sad that the authors were given less time and money, but anyway, it turned out how it turned out. And the season turned out to be too chaotic already.
@Mayers: Well, it's unlikely that they drew the series without a set budget and script. And at the script level, removing scenes is already rewriting part of the script.
@Mira5: well, in general, at first they did not want to give them money for the first season at all. Although the studio really wanted to do this project. So they decided to go the tricky way. First we made the concepts. They showed it, the producers liked it. They gave me a day to make sketches. We drew them and showed them. I liked it again, they gave me another day. And so on, gradually increasing funding. In fact, the studio has not painted the season for 6 years. They begged for money so much that they could see this beauty. Therefore, when the first season was a success, they were immediately given a normal amount of money (apparently a current for one season) and we saw it only 3 years later. (I'm retelling what I heard in the Ministry of Pop Culture in the first episode with Seva Lovkachev, I hope it's not fake)
The second season came out rapidly dynamic and this, alas, is not a compliment.
As the mainer of Jinx, since her appearance in the game, I am sincerely hurt for my girl :(
There is a lot of understatement, 9 episodes were clearly not enough. We originally planned three seasons, why was it reduced to two? Were you afraid that the financing would be delayed and interest in the project would disappear?
Based on Vandevarvik's appearance, one thing is clear: Varvik is definitely alive, because he is not yet a wolf in appearance and Sinjed is clearly not done with him yet.
Watching Mel Swain through raven and Orianna at the end is heartfelt.
I'm sorry about Ekko.
Vai… Vai is just infuriating. Your sister tells you in plain text that she's going to break the circle, is going to commit suicide, and she's... eating a cutlet?? Seriously??
There are a lot of emotions and misunderstandings about why the ending is exactly like this.
There have already been a lot of good things said and important points noted, I agree with everything I just want to say a special thank you for the tandem, which I really wanted, but never thought I would get. Mel and Keithley🔥 It was amazing.
@Tsvang: No, I'm not really sorry. Treated her neutrally all this time. And even her betrayal of Caitlin could be seen as loyalty to Ambessa... But when she was going to execute the wounded Caitlin in cold blood in the back of the head, and did not feel any mixed feelings about it at all, it was not a pity when Mel dealt with her.
On the one hand, it was epic, very beautiful, amazing and delightful. On the other hand, from a project of this magnitude, I subconsciously want the same incredible ending (although it is very, very difficult to do them!), but it seems to me that the creators did not make it.
1. What happened to Heimerdinger? Did he stay in a parallel universe? Was he decomposed into atoms? If the former, then at least they showed it. If the latter, then it was decomposed into atoms when Ekko chose a time longer than four seconds. 2. It is still unclear what an arcane is. There is a feeling that he is so incomprehensible that it is impossible to explain him, but this is a very bad answer from the point of view of telling a story. 3. Mel is just a disastrous Mary Sue. She was born into an influential family, held an equally influential post, in fact she was elected and in a short time mastered the most complex art of magic, and then destroyed one of the witch sisters. It was the most uninteresting line. Her mother's conflict with the city is also not particularly disclosed, since we still do not understand what a black rose is. 4. Isha. The character is a dummy. 5. I REALLY liked the fourth episode, but after watching the last one, I'm sure it would have been better if Vander hadn't been resurrected. This completely devalued his death, and for some reason his corpse took up much more screen time than the same Mel or Ekko. 6. Jinx's death is strained. I understand that either this is the end, or she would have become an example of the purest human madness, but it would be better if she became madness than went out like that.
Bottom line: either a little more episodes were needed (12 instead of 9), or a little less characters (if they had cut out Mel's arch or stopped playing with Vander's corpse, everything could have been better).
More observations: — I was sure to the last that little Jace was given a rune by his adult and experienced version, but it turned out to be Victor, and he gave different runes each time. It would be interesting to see how the Piltover would develop depending on the strength of the runes, they must be different in some way. — The Ekko line became more interesting in the second season, the time-wasting scene at the end is very beautiful. — It was not very clear how we moved from the good design of the virus in pale and very painful green-pink colors to white-gold colors of purity and nobility. Where did android armor come from, especially in such a mass production? — I'm glad that we got Powder and her new skins! It was very nice to see her develop differently as a character. — I am very happy for Cevika and that she took a seat on the council. — I feel sorry for Maddie, I liked her and I thought she was on the side of the Piltoverians.
@Coldwood: I liked Warwick (how he was created and how he appeared in the series with bloodlust), but the fact that he was made a Vander (humanized with the past) is also such a thing...
Dear experts of the Laura game, please explain for the homeless. I don't know what his name is, but I probably didn't understand some kind of reference or something like that. There was a homeless man, drinking with Violet. Then he was immediately taken into the military for the company, then into an elite special squad. And then he died. Why does this character exist? At some point, he reacted against the background to the name of Vander or Silko, I kept expecting that he would turn out to be someone important, a secret third partner or a lost brother with amnesia. And he turned out to be a filler, it seems, it is unclear why he exists. There must be some explanation, it doesn't happen that a character is introduced absolutely without a purpose...
@redirish97: so judging by the jacket, he is not a bum, but a military man. And the city's security took him in after he helped with a repeat attack at a memorial service. They showed the formation of the Kay team.
@redirish97: there is no explanation for the existence of the character in lol league, except that now it is just a game unit in Teamfight Tactics, like the entire Kate team.
As they say: may she not die at the end of the Arcane!
Thank you for the most wonderful series. Yes, the second season is just bursting with events, sometimes there was a real overload, but I understand that it did not work out with the production of the third season, because it was expensive. It's still an incredible project!
I liked it very much, but it was as if some aftertaste was missing. A full-fledged epilogue. Even one additional episode would have greatly brightened up the ending, but probably because of the high cost of the series, they could not go for it. Somewhere, the authors said that they failed to insert everything into the plot in the first season and it should have ended differently. Probably because of this, such a frenzied pace turned out in the second season. But it was still wonderful. One visual and the music are worth it!
I don't know who has what opinion, but somehow it doesn't look like this is the end and everything won't be 3 seasons as promised, like only 2 seasons and the story is over because my daughter was going to put on a mother's mask + asked a friend for advice You're going to keep fighting. + She said the words Our story is not over yet + The crow that found something inside the hammer or xs what is it
All this seems to me to hint at 3 seasons Because there is no - there was no fact that either everyone died or everyone remained alive and happy, which would be as similar as possible to the end of the story
It ended like this personally, as for me, that season 3 will be
I expected this In any case, thank you very much for the answer and information If suddenly there is already this series - a sequel called Noxus Then drop its name or a link to it, please
I didn't like the last act, as if the plot had been rewritten before the finale. Where is the Jinx revolution, she waved the flag in the opening, symbolizing the revolution? I went to see the revolution, but I got something I don't understand. They merged the plot with the revolution, which was being hatched. In the end, they built an idyll, but in real life, the poor of Zaun would simply be thrown back.
Mel got some kind of abilities and learned how to use them, it's a huge piano in the bushes. Nothing was clarified about the Rose at all, it seems they appeared only to give Mel strength.
Caitlin, incredible story armor. She was poked in the torso with something and then she quickly fought with Ambessa, although she should have been easily killed.
Jinx. I didn't believe that she would be killed, but in the end I realized that Arkane has three main characters: two lesbians and one straight woman. There was no question of who to kill, everything was obvious.
@Aizen-88: They kind of let a man from the lower town into the council. And who is this man? A drug dealer, a sociopath, a misanthropic killer. Awesome character who should be put on ten life sentences became a deputy.
@Taronqwe: why is the witcher here, how did he get here, I roughly understand by what logic, but still :D thanks for the list with links , it's strange that there is no cyberpunk, I really didn't watch, but they say decent things like the game itself https://myshows.me/view/75765/
@Geist-Luft: хотел добавить "Киберпанк: Бегущие по краю | Cyberpunk: Edgerunners", но чёт забыл. Спасибо что добавила ссылку. По ведьмаку ещё мульт хороший тоже забыл добавить: Ведьмак: Аниме | The Witcher Anime Specials https://myshows.me/view/75379/ The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf (2021) The Witcher: Sirens of the Deep (2025)
@Geist-Luft: I don't think the world will be clear in the case of Cyberpunk. There's still a game to play. And the Witcher was turned on, apparently, because there is a game. Yes, but the series is not based on the game, but on the books. No, it's not like that. It was planned according to the books 😅
@Mayers: it turns out to be an excuse to play :) In principle, it may not be very clear with Lara either, and probably with dragonaga too But at the same time, I know those who watched it without playing it all and still liked it
@Geist-Luft: Yes, the game is top, the main thing is to prepare mentally) Well, this is really a list from the category of "These are the series on games and here's another fantasy." Well, by the way, the dragonaga fits in perfectly. Also magic, also watered. intrigues. Oh, it's not about Cassandra, it's a new dragonaga cartoon. I didn't know that. What a useful list it turned out to be)
@Taronqwe: of the entire collection, only the "Blue-Eyed Samurai" seems to be strong and at the same time similar to the Arcane (and this despite the fact that I really love Aang). According to the schedule, definitely not — that is, yes, the Samurai is very beautiful, but the stylistic techniques are not the same. In terms of graphics, only "Spider-Man: Across the Universes" comes to mind.
@Coldwood: I'm trying to figure out how to objectively evaluate the plot of Love, death and robots in its entirety). And visually, too, it is so heterogeneous an almanac. There are fragments no worse (to put it mildly) than the Arkane. The Secret level, which has not yet been released, is also like that, most likely. And some others on the list have their own tricks, take the same Vox Makin with her humor.
@Hidji: "Love, Death and Robots" is really just short films and a different format, so I don't think it's a good recommendation. Although if you want to find out what is happening in the animation world right now, yes, this is a good option. Makin's vox is "dnd with humor", but I do not know where humor or vibe dnd is in the Arkane.
@Coldwood: and what makes you think that good animation is only if it looks like an Arcane? Whether it's visual, ENT, or plot. This is strange. People recommend good things, in their opinion. And not the same.
@Hidji: because if the article is called "What to see after the Arcane" (the link is generally called "Shows like Arcane"), then it is logical that the proposed works should have something similar to the Arcane (not "the same", but "similar", I will emphasize this again just in case). There is nothing like it, it's just good, but you can watch it without looking at the Arcane, since it has a completely different atmosphere in literally everything, whether it's graphics, plot or ENT.
How can I put 5 zevzd for this, if Jinx is no more, Violet's heart is broken because of this and Ekko will not be able to see her anymore. Well, as in general.. It's a lot of pain.
I cried when I realized that Jinx was really going to die, when I realized what pain would be in Vai's heart from now on. And the fact that she will live on with it is just an unimaginable force in her.
Then I cried when the episode ended and I realized that there would be no more of them. No episodes, no characters I'm familiar with now. It is unlikely that this will ever pass. It is unlikely that I will stop considering them as relatives and stop missing them.
But I will still give 5 stars so as not to leave with pain from here.
Actually, I also want to say that this series is not bad.. raised me up in development. It seems to me that I have really improved something in terms of looking at people.. myself..all my life.. It's great.
It was rare when I cried from what I watched, and it was difficult to get a 34-year-old redneck man who likes to beat other people's faces to do it, but they could. The Arcane is the best thing I've seen, even the Butterfly Effect, the Darkness, and the like can't compare to what I went through watching this masterpiece. Arkane and Jinx are forever in the heart.
The authors clearly took a wrong turn when they decided to turn a multifaceted and exciting story into a banal battle to save the world. It was a mistake that turned the story into many times passed in other plots.
This bunch of storylines does not allow you to cling to one thing. As if it would be better to keep everything spinning around vai and Jinx, and leave the project of complementing humanity and Wakanda's viba in the background. Animation and sound are top.
@g1341890: this relationship was canon before the release of the first season of Arkane. They do not need to be made a canon, they already have a canon
Animation is divine as always, who would argue. But I don't know how Hollywood ended, didn't put the squeeze on. And Victor realized everything at the last minute and the cliched fall into the abyss of Jinx, I think you're serious now
How wonderful and integral the first season was, and how the second season is lost in itself. I do not know what happened to the studio when working on the second season, but a lot of things stopped working.: - budget savings, a lot of scenes literally drawn in sketches appeared in the season. - the appearance of empty characters that just exist (Isha, I'm sorry, but you don't work the way Jinx worked for Silko) - there are no fighting scenes in the season with well-superimposed music of the first season level, which can be watched separately from the general timing and have fun (the exception is probably Seviki's fight with Funny from the 2nd series) - parallel universes, which, I'm sorry, have already become a bad thing, but we need to somehow justify the death of key characters who should have a story armor because of the game. - A finale that didn't work for me, as the finales of the first arch of the first season and the magnificent finale of the first season did.
Jinx's hairstyle at the time of the conversation with Eco is cool. Yes, and the Eco has just opened. The appearance of a couple on the battlefield is spectacular. I did not finally understand who the Black Rose was in the end. Victor and Jace sped off into the vastness of the multiverse. Jinx seems to have died (or not?), and in the end he was left alone. And everyone else has wandered off somewhere... somehow ambiguous for me.
The second season left the same vivid impressions as the first. It was dramatic, powerful and beautiful. I am very angry about Jinx's death, because I love her very much and I wanted everything to get better with her and Vai and Ekko. I'm just heartbroken because of her. And this moment with Ekko sitting alone...It's too sad.It also seemed to me that there were not enough episodes for all the story lines. Some moments were shown very messily and I did not fully understand a lot. If this is the end of the series, then the ending is very crumpled. But as the end of the season, the series is great. And special thanks for the epic appearance of Jinx and Ekko to the song of their favorite Stray kids. P. S. It was only after writing a comment that I saw the Dead mark on the animated series. So is this really all? I don't agree with that. I don't want to leave this universe.
@Orsha111: initially, it is obvious. I put it under Kate after I broke up with Vai. She also mocked me, she said that office romances do not lead to good
@Orsha111: I'm also inclined to think that she was with her initially. If you think about it, the scene where Ambessa focuses on the fact that Caitlin is having an affair in the workplace should have let us know that something is not clean there. Because Ambessa, who tried to isolate Kate from everyone and leave her in a cauldron of hatred, reacts too calmly to the fact that someone does not let Kate drown in this cauldron
@vk922554: But after all, Ambessa became interested in Caitlin as a lever to seize power in Piltover after Maggie spoke with such admiration to Vai about Caitlin and joined the squad to capture Jinx. Before that, Ambessa had been processing Siloch and hadn't paid any attention to Kate at all, which meant she didn't need Maggie as a spy. How did she even manage to win her over to her side, that she had already betrayed her commander?
It's an unpopular opinion, but Jinx's death is just drama for drama's sake. The audience would have received more emotions if she had remained alive, I did not understand what the meaning of this was.
@izaF: She explained it after she locked Vai behind bars. To "break the cycle". That Vai would never stop believing in her and clinging to her, and Jinx, in her opinion, would ruin those she loves.
I don't know, it's obvious to me that she didn't die and that she just put an end to this chapter of her life with Vai in this way.
@izaF: the point is for Vai to be able to continue living without running around her sister and Jinx, respectively, too, and it will be easier for the two of them without each other around, at least for now, because then they will probably meet again, because the finale gives everything to understand that she is alive
@sherbakova_vs: Don't whine, she's alive. The popular version is that she flew to another series at the end, to Demasia to her girlfriend /fan lover Lux. Lola is also one of the most popular characters, and the authors wanted to make TV series in other regions.
@vk922554: I'll decide for myself whether to whine to me or not , I don't care about all these guesses , the riots showed it like that , so that's how it is , and you can keep to yourself what you thought up there .
@sherbakova_vs: that's exactly what the riots showed purple lightning to the side before the explosion. For some reason, Caitlin looks at the drawings of this mine, and the frame focuses on ventilation. The final scene is with the left-hand airship that Jinx dreamed of driving. The end is in quotation marks in the style of Jinx. Well, actually the thickest hint is a conversation with Silko. That you need to let go and leave. In short, the ending is purely Nolan's Dark Knight
I'm so glad that Kate has a good ending, otherwise I was already afraid for them because of everything that started happening in the third act and against the background of unspoken traditions in the series
and moving away from these two, I want to say what a legendary series, I have already reviewed it many times and I will review it again, the most excellent soundtrack and picture, so many little things that complement the plot, but which at the same time are easy to miss, excellent Persians and their elaboration, the best people in voice acting and in the creators, I will forever praise the arcane
@Geist-Luft: At least someone got a happy ending. Honestly, I thought they'd split up, because Vai would always be rushing between Kate and her sister. Apparently, Jinx decided so too, so she quietly flew away on her airship.
Anyway, there are still questions and many moments that broke my heart, which I cannot put into words. I've never shippered Victor and Jace, but what a sensual and tragic moment it turned out to be with them. If Jace had kissed Victor, I would have said it would fit in with what was happening.
I don't want to believe that Jinx is dead, she's always been so tenacious that I can't believe it. At the end there was a hint that she was alive, so I'll believe it.
Vai and Kate got some happiness, which is good. Kate with the blindfold has of course become even more of a hot woman
Ekko beamed at the end, thanks for that. I would like more of him and Mel. Hopefully, if there is a next series, there will be more of the story of Mel and other characters.
To sum up, we can say that the final did not disappoint. The music, the visual, the plot are all just as amazing. I will be waiting for the next projects. I'm going to miss this series. Most likely, I will take it and review it, I liked it so much.
@AlenaMarsova: I did not deny that friendship is well spelled out. But if the screenwriters wanted to add such a thing, I don't think many people would perceive it as inappropriate and strange, if you look at what most write.
I've been waiting for Mel-saporta in league of legends since the first season! And with her shield potentials in this series, confidence is already born that the character has a place to be. She beat the Black Rose really well. Such a sophisticated and wise character.
For me, Jinx and Mel are the queens of the Arcane. 👑❤️🔥
there are no words to describe the feeling of watching. plot, special effects, music, drawing... How much work and meaning was invested in the creation of the Arkane. I want to change the world and preferably find myself in another reality, but this wonderful series is enough for me 🙏🏻
It'll do. Lesbian happyend against the background of forced drama and unnecessary draining of blue hair. The rest of the arches did not have an epilogue. The most integral thing here is, oddly enough, the arch of Jace and Vitya, although I do not like that it was made central to the season. Mel and her mother never thought to reveal the arch, leaving everything on hints. The betrayal of the red-haired mistress was as strained and sudden as the inside of a bomb mechanism. But the karmic response came quickly. Piltover and Zaun teamed up against the background of a common threat, but how this cooperation will work further, given the entire background, is unclear. As a result, there is no sense of completion and the finale of the first season as the finale of the story looks even more impressive, even though it is open. A weak season. There is a lot of excess, a departure from the central line of the first season, the characters are thrown back and forth in terms of motivation, just to bring them to the game images, which only works to the detriment of the story. It still looks and sounds great, it has a great sound, but such a delicious wrapper deserves better filling.
@ekko: > There is a lot of excess, a departure from the central line of the first season, the characters are thrown back and forth in terms of motivation, just to bring them to the game images, which only works to the detriment of the story.
As an experienced league player, I will comment on this as follows: the peak of all the characters, where they fit perfectly into the game ent, is the finale of the first season. Everything is in its place. The second season goes beyond lore (the disappearance of Jace, the possible death of Jinx and Heim, Caitlin without an eye). Except that Ekko, Victor, Warwick and Orianna got their final development in the second season.
And what was the central line of the season for you? Didn't you choose it for yourself? The center line is the magic that Jace and Victor have been digging into. And the second season shows that no utopia with perfect people, with a single goal, is worth it. That all these fights, pain, emotions that we saw in the first season are life. There is an incredible, subtle psychology and philosophy here.
@BlueberryNights: magic in the first season was an auxiliary tool, a link to tell about the confrontation of the sisters through the ideological confrontation of Piltover and Zaun.
There are also big questions about subtle psychologism, given how inconsistently and illogically almost all the characters behave in the second season and how they like to roll back to the basic settings for the sake of the script. And all those rather complex images created by the first season become flat during the second. Just to put everything on a new central arch about the magic of the local world. A striking example is Mel, who was pushed out of the plot for several episodes so that she could take and become a supermage, without giving anything in return. A potentially interesting family conflict is needed here only in order to single out one obvious antagonist for the season, whose motives must be sought out in thematic wikis.
@ekko: > magic in the first season was an auxiliary tool, a link to tell about the confrontation of the sisters through the ideological confrontation of Piltover and Zaun.
This is called a tie. This magic grew and developed, in addition to Hamer's warnings. I dare say you underestimated this arch in the first season. And there was repeated mention of the arcana and their destructive power. The sisters here, with all my respect and love for Powder Jinx, are just a means to showcase the scene of life.
A striking example is Mel, who was pushed out of the plot for several episodes so that she could take and become a supermage without giving anything in return. A potentially interesting family conflict is needed here only in order to single out one obvious antagonist for the season, whose motives must be sought out in thematic wikis.
Mel was a powerful magician. From birth. Only mom hid it well, for this she even sent her daughter across the sea, away from Noxus. And she sailed to Piltover herself only when she heard about the force (hexteca /anomaly), which could potentially be a weapon against the Black Rose. That was the motivation: to create a power that could resist the witch in order to protect his family.
I want a series about Morgana and Cale now. Or about Yordles, or about demons. Or Noxus and Demasia. Yes, even a solo album about Kled, anything just to live
I hope Mall will be added to the game. According to the series, she has very strong prerequisites for the role of saporta. Especially considering that she fought in a team with Caitlin (ADK). In fact, on the same line.
Plus, all her skills are suitable. Shields, some kind of lightning on the ground for control and an ulta with gold chains. Really looking forward
In recent years, this is the best thing I've seen, it's an incredible storm of emotions that breaks my heart. I'm sure Jinx is alive. And they don't stop looking for her. No wonder they show us frame - by - frame references to it ! 😍
Well, guys, to be honest, the first season was much stronger, both plot-wise and in terms of revealing the Lore of the game. Still not bad, but far from the level of the first season. They didn't reveal Heimerdinger at all, for some reason they introduced a Black Rose, but they didn't tell anything about it, NOTHING, just a huge plot understatement that only confused. What about Zaun, what about Piltover? In short, there are many unanswered questions
It's hard to realize that this is the end. After all, there is hope inside that Powder is alive (for me, she is Powder, not Jinx)
To be honest, it seems that there were not enough episodes, since I still did not understand the whole joke with the Arcane, anamalia. Then who are the Black Rose and what did Mel see. I would like to see how the Zaun is restored.
Oh well. It was beautiful, and the rest will be completed by the imagination
They will probably tell you further, because the hextek rune where Jace and Victor are imprisoned was picked up by a raven with a bunch of peepholes, and this is Noxian Secretary General Svein doing reconnaissance of the situation in Piltover.
The Black Rose is such a very ancient order that secretly weaves intrigues and tries to fight for power. Ambessa crossed the path of the order, this is most likely due to Mel's magical abilities. Perhaps Mel saw the cult's new plans to create weapons.
Jinx is 100% alive. There are several hints of this at once. First, the scene at the end where Caitlin looks at the Hexgate blueprints and, holding a piece of Jinx's grenade in her hands, draws attention to the ventilation shaft, after which she smiles. Secondly, when an explosion occurs, a pink line can be seen moving away from it, which appears when Jinx dodges attacks. Thirdly, at the very end there is a scene where the airship flies away. In the first season, there is a scene in which Jinx says that one day she will definitely ride on one. In both scenes, the airship is redrawn literally frame by frame and the inscription "The End" appears for a second in Jinx's handwriting. So she just flew out of town to start her life anew. " Broke the cycle of violence ", as Silko told her.
I think it would be much better if the series focused on the Piltover/Zaun conflict and their war. And Victor just went to Zaun's side, only at the end of the season making a reference to the evolution. The introduction of a universal threat simply negates all the efforts of the characters of the first season. If there just wasn't enough evil Victor for peace between Piltover and Zaun, then why all the suffering of the characters? In the first season, there were interesting gray conflicts, indicating the lack of correct answers. And here everything is solved by the banal appearance of a common enemy...
I'm probably categorical, but I didn't like it. Rather, I liked the pieces, excellent visual and music. I don't like Caitlin, but I checked her out without an eye, she's good))
I don't know if it will be left for other series (I hope), but:
- the theme of Sinjed and his daughter - ?? - the theme of Victor the magician who saved Jace as a child - ?? - the theme of Ambessa, Cinema and Chalk with a black rose (well, here, probably, the districts will make a separate series, there are many prerequisites for this) - the topic of what happened to Heimedinger - ??
In general, the topic of boobs is not disclosed, as they say, I have not listed everything yet. My expectations were too high after the first season, the guys raised such a bar, but did not reach it: it is clear, unfortunately, that the question was about money. For season 3, it will be difficult to unfasten another budget of this size, the world has become more expensive and heavier.
A few more observations, I will add as the play progresses:
- in the sex scene of Vai and Kate, the graphics are unfinished (maybe I imagined it, but there's soap in places) - Jace was absolutely unnaturally sick at the beginning of episode 7 - the script has weakened very much, the presentation of information is ragged
It's absolutely not about money. The company has plenty of them, considering that Netflix was their distributor to help. The Riots have officially announced that at least several adaptations are in development. They consider the Arcane to be the breakdown of the pen, the beginning of their universe.
@zhuko-katya: They literally had to take care of strategically important places so that the rating of the scene did not creep above the acceptable mark.
Interestingly, the Ambessa's breasts in the bathroom scene in the first season were rated, and then the torsos were clogged so that no one, God forbid, would see a piece of breast in 4k
I thought that in the alternate reality from which Ekko had fallen, there was a lonely powder who was very sad for the dead vai. She helped Ekko and Heimerdinger recreate the hackstack and she still has pieces of the hackstack in the table, she knows what needs to be done. Maybe she will get into our reality, where she has already been left without a sister. Boom! The sisters will be together again
@Demi-kun: There is a version that Jace got into the same parallel universe as Ekko and Hymer, only much later in time after Powder invented hextek and the universal pi*dec came.
I didn't expect this from Maddie, of course. I wonder at what point Ambessa turned her around and how long she has known Caitlin's every move.
As from the series, only positive and incredible emotions remained from the project. It's definitely the best animation I've seen in my life, it's definitely the best TV series I've seen in my life and maybe it's the best thing I've seen, basically.
From the point of view of the lore of the universe, questions remain. It feels like in the end this is not the backstory of the characters, but still a parallel universe, which was in the seventh series. What happened to Victor and Jace is not clear. I don't remember what kind of rune it is or what it does. Did Warwick and Jinx survive? Ambessa died unexpectedly, I did not expect this at all. Caitlin lost an eye. It's like everything is a little bit wrong. Although, of course, it is clear that everything could not go unnoticed and friendly, but I definitely did not expect such a turn that so many characters of the game would die. (Well, of course, Jace and Victor can still teleport to another universe and then return from it. Jinx is thrown into one of the tunnels that Kate showed. And Varvik doesn't give a damn, he probably needs to be dissolved in acid to the bone to kill)
@Даня_: I didn't write about the most important thing. Sevika is in the council! Gospade, Zaun and Piltover joined forces and she got her well-deserved place! Who else but she should have been there?! It's a wonderful moment and hopefully she's not the only one.
I was against continuing initially. Knowing the plot roughly, I did not expect anything new for myself. But hello. I was punched to tears twice. How do you do it? I don't know anything about waiting for two seasons about Demasia and 3 seasons about the war of Noxus and Ionia. It's your own fault. It's too good.
As a player, it is generally unclear to me the death of Ambessa, who was promoted with all her might, added to the game, wrote a book, shot a clip and eventually killed and she waved her branded weapons for 2 seconds
A few days have passed since the final episode, and I see how many people did not like the second season as much as the first, but what's more, they began to hate it right harshly, and I understand why this may happen, yes, there was not enough timing, few people can disagree with this, but...
Let's not forget that the end was written during the release of the first season, and no matter how much we would like to change or change something, but the ending is really like this.
And I will say this, I liked the second season, I liked it differently than the first, I generally prefer to think that the first and second seasons are two different works, although they immediately continue the story from the end of the first season. Why two? The first one is a measured, smooth story, for the most part telling and emotional, and the second one is also emotional, even more, but it immediately throws you into the cycle of events, you can't distract from watching the second season, it's unforgivable, because the second one shows it.
For those who have been waiting for 3 years and those who watched season 1 for the first time and immediately the second, the feelings are completely different. Those who waited so long had such high expectations that no other project even close in this decade could compare with it. That is why such contradictory assessments and expectations became such that people did not even imagine what should be in the second for him to surpass the first, and he did not have to do it. It was necessary to finish the story, and in general, the arches of the characters - becoming their champions (heroes) - are closed.
Name the best works in this genre, with such animation and history, let's laugh together, because there is no better work anyway, and that's how I can dig into some flaws at a time when really good works can be counted on the fingers? I should and will only praise.
Series like Arcane come out very, very rarely, and I'm glad that I watched it, this story, these characters, especially the sisters, are already like family.
@g1341890: actually, arcane was originally an adult series, it has an appropriate rating of 16+. there and in the first season, Jace and Mel had sex - how could you let your child watch it?) Or is it something else? all characters have the same rights to demonstrate what the authors intended.
@g1341890: First of all, LGBT people are not sick in the head. Secondly, the rating of the series in Russia is 16+. This is an adult work, not initially focused on viewing with children. You would also turn on the Game of Thrones for a child and swear at incest.
@g1341890: It's hard, don't you think, not to experience a bunch of psychological problems when people consider them abnormal? This is a certain percentage of people in the population that has existed and will always exist. A percentage that doesn't bother you personally in any way. Just like all other groups of people who differ from the majority in some way. Even people with green eyes can be considered a deviation from the norm. Maybe you will consider them abnormal too. The norm is brown, considering the percentage of people with this eye color. Blacks were not considered people for some time because of their differences. It's nice to find someone who doesn't look like you and put a brand on them. Who sleeps with whom, as long as they are two consenting adults, no one should worry. In our society, for some reason, rapists are treated better than LGBT people, diligently shielding them with words " the victim was not dressed like that". Well, imagine that the norm would be to love only people with brown eyes. And you fell in love with someone with green eyes and you are hated just for this fact. For a fact that you don't even control. For a fact that doesn't harm anyone. Just for nothing. Does that really sound justified to you? The annoying agenda is needed precisely so that such people can be seen on the screen and get used to them. Because it is in human nature to feel aggression towards those who are different. So that when you meet them in real life, you just treat them like ordinary people, which they are.
@g1341890: tell me about the normal relationship to thousands of ads like "I will rent an apartment only to Slavs ". We have a lot of racism in our country. Yeah, "deviations" are not transmitted, but the percentage of LGBT people in the population is nevertheless constantly present. Magic. They require exactly the usual recognition with equal rights for heterosexual people - to marry, etc. And there are always distortions during the struggle for rights. Similarly, the fight against violence sometimes goes too far and people begin to believe everyone who called themselves a victim, ignoring that they can also lie. Such distortions do not indicate the unrighteousness of the goal. You pay attention to individual freaks, ignoring the adequate majority. If you have LGBT acquaintances, then it is unclear where this homophobia comes from. I also have and I have exactly zero complaints about them. And unlike the really cringe-worthy examples of a shitty agenda, the relationships in the Arkane are written quite well.
Continuing the joke about the fact that a gap in the Arcane can only be dealt with by becoming a dictator or the founder of a sect, I will add that all reconciliations in the Arcane take place in flight and for this it is desirable to die (you can jointly))
The most interesting character development in the second season was Kate's line. What an annoying good girl she was in the first season (imho :D) and what a broken and experienced woman she is now. It was a pleasure to watch her. Further, Jinx and Vai also succeeded, there were many of them and each went through logical transformations. The rest are the same... Well, we've been somewhere)) I liked Victor's line, but all the money went to the nails, apparently, ahaha Not enough time, not enough, of course How I screamed when Jace and Victor flew to heaven. Well, canon, what to say... Careful, is this the kind of friendship you want for yourself?? Think about it!! Once you find a partner, that's it! And I also remembered a meme about business partners, hospice) Well, it's a Gotham fandom.
@By heart: it is very impressive that she does not hide her head in the sand and is ready to take responsibility for her actions. And, if possible, fix it, and if not, then at least have the courage to accept the consequences of your mistakes without blaming everyone around you. In the same execution scene at the hands of Maddie: Caitlin realizes that she is about to get a bullet in the back of the head from the man she let into her own bed and made her right hand at work. She does not cry from impotence and does not try to say anything, she straightens her back in order to accept her death with dignity and not show weakness in front of the victorious enemy.
@Orsha111: I also noted these points. For example, in a conversation with Vai, who reproached (!!!) Kate, due to the fact that they arrested Jinx, and says that she saved her life and changed, Kate notes "We can't erase OUR mistakes."; She's not just fixated on Jinx's mistakes, she's talking about herself too. Or even when she goes to Jinx, and the last echo of rage flashes in her, she says again " -No amount of good deeds can undo OUR crimes." Which again talks about "our" crimes. It's very cool that she doesn't absolve herself of guilt, and not only accepts her mistakes, but also tries to do everything possible to correct them, or prevent the consequences of what she did. Although I still think that both the characters and, most importantly, the audience, could be more understanding of her in moments. 😅
@Mayers: I agree, she has grown up a lot. And, to be honest, I think that there was almost no development for Vai. And no, I'm not saying that her character is bad... How can I explain it?🤔 I have a feeling that Vai is walking in circles, and it's not her fault. By and large, this is because of everything she experienced in childhood and the responsibility that was hung on her and which she could not cope with. Somewhere in his soul, Vai is still the same teenager who has lost everyone and does not know how to deal with it, and who is being sent to prison. And even her request to Caitlin not to change speaks to how she herself is stuck. I really love Vai, but she is one of those who needs a lot more time to grow (and this is completely normal), and preferably in circumstances where she will be supported, and not she will be the mainstay and responsible for everyone.
Love. I love the Arcane. The first season and the first arch of season 2. The rest is the same, but smaller. Still, after all, when the screenwriters add this kind of strange MAGIC (I don't understand and great), it means that it's unclear what to write about, or they were forbidden to write what they originally wanted to write, or they pissed off, I do not know. Because initially, the conflicts in the Arkane were clear and humane, which are still happening on earth. And it's more interesting to watch stories about them, because, unfortunately, you can touch them with your hand. But many people are afraid to shoot about it... xs, either they are afraid to offend someone, or they lose the audience due to difficult moral dilemmas. Although, look, everyone liked the first season for that. Of course, this is a super-safe variation for the final batch - to unite everyone against an unknown hni. Just this one... It doesn't touch. None of us face this (except for Russian longing). That makes me terribly sad. Although I love Vitya. How not to love him.
😮💨"Everything we create has a price": Why has "Arcane" become the phenomenon of the year? 😵"Arcane" is more than a series. This is a cultural event that elevates animation to the rank of art, blurs the boundaries between genres and proves that video games can inspire the creation of a masterpiece. In two seasons, this project from Riot Games and Fortiche has turned from a bold experiment into a phenomenon that is being discussed, reviewed and admired around the world. "It's not just animation, it's a living story." 😵The musical accompaniment deserves special delight: each track seems to permeate the plot, moves it forward and makes each scene stronger. The music here is not the background, but another language that conveys emotions. Each note is a blow to the heart. 😮💨"The world is changing because we make it change." 😵"Arcane" is a story that breaks the soul into pieces, then reassembles it, but in a different way. The series masterfully tells about the confrontation between two worlds — the technological, prosperous Piltover and the gloomy, dangerous Zaun. But the depth of "Arkane" lies in the fact that beneath this surface there are personal stories of love, betrayal, sacrifice and destruction. It's not just a struggle of worlds, it's a battle inside each of the heroes. There is no black and white here — only a difficult choice and its consequences. It's a story of compromises that can be worth everything you love. And at the same time, she manages to erase the line between hero and villain. The viewer sympathizes with everyone, realizing that behind every act there is pain, hope or despair. "Arcane" also destroys gender stereotypes. In the world of the series, men and women are equally strong, vulnerable and significant. There is no division into roles that dictate gender or stereotypes. Each heroine and each hero has their own unique story, internal contradictions and determination. This equality makes the characters incredibly alive and close. 😮💨"The war has begun. But which of us will become her fire?" 😵"Arcane" is a manifesto of art, a cry that we are the creators of our lives. This series combines the best that can be imagined: stunning animation, deep drama, philosophical themes and revolutionary storytelling. Every scene is a work of art, every dialogue is part of a larger meaning, every frame is an emotional explosion. If you haven't watched "Arcane" yet, then I sincerely envy you.
Netflix thanks for these 2 seasons and at the same time why the fuck did you close the best animated series in years. And perhaps the best video game adaptation. Season 1 is ideal. Season 2 events were going so fast that you just don't have time to digest too short episodes. But I would say it's better to do 2 cool seasons than what's happening now with Strangers Things.
@Даня_: What are the others? That Demasia, that Noxus will be about the consequences of the Runic Wars. And in the logic of the world, Runic Wars are the Arcane. Does it make sense for them to change the name?
@Tsvang: I don't know what the point of changing it is, but the showrunners said that this series is over. The Arcane was originally about Vai and Jinx - it would be strange if the third season began to reveal a completely different story
@Даня_: No, let me. Where is Arkane, and where are Vai and Jinx. Obviously, the arcane cannot end with a Piltover and a Zaun. If you are touched by Jinx's story, then Lux's story will tear you apart. And then there is the war of Noxus and Ionia... And all this is an Arcane.
@Tsvang: I understand you. I agree that the title is much more extensive in essence than the story told and, most likely, does not really suit the project to the fullest. But I am broadcasting to you the news that was from the showrunners on the project
@Даня_: Isn't Christian Linke your showrunner? It's one thing what they said before the release, it's another what they're saying now. That's it. There will be at least 3 more seasons. Check it out
@Tsvang: it will be, but with a different name as a separate project. You have old data on the topic of 5 seasons of the Arcane. You can Google the news from Mark Merrill, he told me that the Arcane is closed for the second season
@Даня_: What? Why with another one? Linke said that they have been drawing a new season for a year now. Where's the other name? Old data? November 25, 2024 is it already outdated? What's the point of changing their name? What will they call the new season? Not an Arcane? Garen's adventures? Is Darius striking back?
@Tsvang: These will be series based on the League of Legends universe. But their name will no longer be "Arcane". The situation is like with the Legend of Vox Makin, where they are already making the next series in the universe, about the Nine. With a different name. Which may be released even before the final season of Makina.
I think she is alive, because I will move on to the first episode, the first season of her phrase: "one day, I will fly on one of them," hence the final scene of the airship. She escaped through the vents indicated in Caitlin's drawings, and when the explosion occurs, a pink trail appears and quickly disappears. And in the end, Caitlin smiles looking at the blueprints, so also with a piece of Jinx's bomb
So it's been a very strange season. That's how much I love the first one, just as much I was upset by the second one.
It is very messy, crumpled, and most importantly - a change of genre from political intrigues, setups, ulterior motives and arches - to the fight against universal evil in the form of AI. The topic is hackneyed, not interesting and not a favorite. And of course this season is hell for trypophobes, it was physically painful from these shots of Hex's influence.
In short, at the end of the first season, I expected something completely different, but here all that awaited me on each episode was not understanding
For me, this is all over with the series ... the second season of g@vno was completely shown to everyone except the most important Persian , only x@ynyu was shown some kind, so they also killed her at the end , it would be better for the rest of the sd@xli than her . You can dislike, I allow, I only love Jinx and now Isha, whose death was generally meaningless , for the rest I generally have one place.
@sherbakova_vs: and who said that she is the most important? The fact that you only like Jinx does not mean that the whole series should revolve only around her :)
It seems that all the good things have already been said above. I would like to add that during the entire time of watching both seasons, the hand did not even reach for the phone 😁 Unsurprisingly, the rating has not dropped. Hopefully, we will still see something of the same level.
as much as I was delighted with the first season, I don't like the second one. I just didn't have time to get attached to anyone, everything changed at the click and rushed at full speed. the whole season is like one continuous trailer. In short, I'm really sorry. this series was from the category of those where after the end you stare at a black screen for 10 minutes, and then you turned it off and forgot.
to be honest, it was very boring to watch. even when watching the first season, there was a lack of some kind of greater disclosure of the plot and characters themselves, but in the second season it is even more felt. everything seems to be dynamic, very beautiful drawing, atmosphere, but it's still boring and something is missing, I would like more disclosure, instead of long scenes with unnecessary dialogues. I really fell in love with Caitlin and their relationship with Vai, but also somehow did not reveal them. first, they made friends, kissed, quarreled, got hurt, then quickly had sex in prison and everything was fine with them. the sex scene was inserted as if just to be there. it would be better to see some kind of romantic-dramatic dialogue with forgiveness, etc. in general, a good series with interesting characters. Thanks for the keyway, it's already good not to kill 🙏🙏🙏
Don't try to figure something out in the second season)) There is also no answer to this question, how and why she first gave her mother to rosa, and then took her away a second later
@Meloman_Nastena: she wanted to settle two goals in one move - the mother, so that she would get a cradle; Le Blanc, to show who the father was here. Mel was famous for her cunning)
As if they wanted too much at once. The first season is a reference, the second is too Marvel. Good luck to the riots with new projects, they do cool things :)
Like many people, I really liked the animated series. Insanely beautiful, with an interesting plot and a great soundtrack! Although in the second season, of course, the plot is less clear. A lot of things were put into nine episodes and, it seems to me, I did not fully understand everything.
So maybe someone will explain to me at least what an arcane is? ))))) As I understood from this season (I didn't review the first season, I don't remember if there was an explanation) It's magic, power, so to speak. But what is hextek? I thought hextag was magic. And what is the difference? I'm confused
@Diana_Ter: This season, Jace explained to Ekko the difference between hextek runes and wild runes. As I understand it, this is the answer to your question. And apparently, hextek is connected with Arkane.
@Diana_Ter: Hextek, is this some kind of tame magic?? Well, like in nature there is lightning in a thunderstorm, and we have controlled electricity, it seems to me that the connection is something like this - hextek, this is magic in a convenient package for every ordinary mortal
How do I get rid of the netflix yuri factor, personally I don't mind Yuri, if it's something necessary or well-written into the plot, here it's just a performance of the fetish of the author (and the audience), vomit. Although the story does not seem to be completed, but I never wanted so much that there would be no continuation because of these homologous scenes, the authors apparently forgot that it was supposed to be mainstream commercial garbage, not masturbatory trash, but probably the hand did not rise to not cram these scenes into the series, after all, the animators did not try in vain. by hand when it was created :X
It's been an incredibly cool two seasons! The story is forever in my heart now . P.S. The creators have pleased us with another new poster to say goodbye.
I wanted to stretch out the fun after episode 7 on Saturday. But no. The ninth followed immediately after the eighth. There are not enough epithets to describe what kind of work the authors and artists have done. Bravo.
The series is named after the blue-haired splinter from Zaun and the furry scientist from Piltover, who sacrificed himself to save humanity. And although many people think that Jinx was saved, but if not, then now she is reunited with Isha, Silko and Wender.
I'm going to miss you. See you in another region of the Arctic. And while I'm spreading the cards in the Runterra.
That's all. The story is complete and I may not be completely thrilled, but the impressions are definitely positive. Arkane, a joint creation of Riots and Fortish, without exaggeration, will take (or may have already taken) a worthy place in the history of world animation. Production, plot, animation, editing, soundtrack, elaboration of the lore and characters. Perhaps each element combined gave an interesting and sad adventure in its own way and immersed me in the history of the world, which I personally was not at all interested in before. Even now I have no desire to play LoL, but I will definitely return to the Arcade. Well, if an RPG, a first-person shooter or (I would like, but hardly) an immersive sim appears in this setting, then I will look forward to the release.
The price of progress, family, wars, harassment, discrimination, crime, religion. The number of topics covered and disclosed is impressive. I like how the story of two scientists who decided to dig into the universe has grown into the story of three researchers whose beliefs collided in a major conflict, but nevertheless they solved it together. The history of a small family has gone through several tragedies and they were almost able to remain a family. The history of the confrontation between the two peoples, accompanied by minor skirmishes, terrorism and discrimination, turned into a joint repulse of the attack of two large forces, each of which threatened the freedom and identity of Zaun and Piltover, and maybe the whole world of Runtera. And all this was accompanied by simply insane animation, staging and soundtrack (which I will steal back to my playlist in full).
Yes, there were some rough edges and misunderstandings, I personally have a lot of questions left, and some of them are ready, splashing with bile, to prove that this is a left-liberal fuck, not worthy of attention, but does someone give a shit? In any case, I will catch up with pathos and repeat that since the release of the first season and with the end of the second, this is and will be one of the best projects in the history of animation. We are waiting for new projects and the continuation, if of this local history, then of the history of the world of the Runter. I will be happy to review it in the future and keep an eye on new Fortish projects.
Eh, what can I say? In principle, I watched the first season with some pleasure. Yes, there were some things that were not entirely clear, but overall it was a good story, showed interesting conflicts, and it was interesting to see their resolution. But the second season turned out to be a complete disappointment. He is chaotic, he shakes from side to side like a drunk, he is filled with annoying cliches about the multiverse and the complementation of humanity. And most importantly, none of the storylines of the first season were completed properly! The confrontation between Piltover and Zaun? After episode 3, the plot simply forgets about Zaun completely, and in the penultimate episode, the cities simply unite in 10 minutes without any problems and that's it, peace-friendship-chewing gum. The drama of the sisters? They unite at some point and quickly forgive each other everything. And that's it, they hug each other as if they hadn't tried to kill each other several times. Jinx? Her cuckoo fell into place somewhere off-screen and that's it, she's just normal again. They said in one sentence that it happened because of a new girl who got attached to her, but that's exactly what they said, and did not show. You didn't expect the development of one of the main characters of the first season from the second, did you, dear viewer? Has Kate lost her mother? Well, he'll freak out for a couple of episodes and come to his senses. Vita was given a touching speech in the finale and he realized everything. Nothing has any consequences, but several tool characters have also been introduced as a safety cushion, which can be killed instead of the main characters, because spin-offs will not write themselves, it is necessary to understand here. All the other characters are engaged in parallel universes, some kind of black roses - nonsense that no one will explain anyway. In short, it's disappointing, although yes, it's beautifully drawn and sometimes funny clips are shown, but without a story and characters, it's worthless.
"I'm the dirt under your nails, cupcake. And I will not be cleansed" (c)
I have just finished watching the second season of "Arkane" and I am absolutely delighted.
First of all, it's just stunningly beautiful. The animators and artists have done an incredible job. The soundtrack is also top notch, with a stylish mini-clip in each episode.
Secondly, it is very interesting. The plot, the characters and the study of the world are executed at the highest level. Even if you haven't played LOL and aren't familiar with the world, it doesn't matter. "Arcane" is an independent work that will tell you everything and "explain for ent". And if you played "Lolets", it will be doubly pleasant to see familiar characters for whom you once fought on ice rinks.
Thirdly, I really want to continue. At the moment, two seasons of "Arkane" have been released, and this is the finale of this story. It's great that the authors didn't stretch one story over 9 seasons. However, do not rush to get upset, there is information that three more shows based on lola are already in production. The action of each of them will take place in different countries of the planet Runterra — Noxus, Ionia and Demasia. But they have already set the bar incredibly high.
Separately, to all other splendor, I want to mention the work with sound and music. That's right, that's right! It's super simple! They didn't even score in the credits. And how they integrated the "Dragons" themselves in the first season!..
A question for the attentive and meticulous: guys, how did Sinjed get his daughter back? has she evolved and become, and has she stayed alive after the cancellation?
Maybe he got some kind of serum from Vander's blood after all, which allows him to regenerate. But at the same time, there were traces of Victor's evolution on it. How it's all connected is not yet clear.
@myauser: I don't understand what the serum has to do with it if it's completely mechanized. Most likely, Victor helped. It's not just that she somehow resembles those machines that Victor created from his followers
@Даня_: It seemed to me that she was a kind of biorobot that Sinjed was constructing in the image and likeness of his daughter. And serums for better synthesis or so that the body does not reject itself.
Damn, how awesome they shot how Ekko flies on a board from the face of a skate(I forgot what this shooting format is called). It really felt like it was being filmed live. It's just funky stuff!!!!
@lipaboy: Да там аниматоры вообще оторвались в этот момент. Какая крутая перспектива от ботинка Джинкс, когда она сидит в акульем капюшоне. Градус пафоса нереальный. 😂
To be honest, the last three episodes I didn't understand much about what was going on with magic in this series, but I enjoyed the season, especially visually.
I have a question for the commenters here. Do you think Maddie was initially on the side of Ambessa, or did she betray Kate after episode 7?🤔
It's just for me personally, when I watched the scene where Maddie hands the weapon to Ambessa, it was like a puzzle had formed and all the main scenes with her flashed by (especially the scene from the fourth series), where the picture formed that it was originally a plan for Ambessa to have spies surrounded by Caitlin.
But I was surprised to notice that quite a lot of people think that Maddie betrayed Caitlin emotionally, because she really loved and it hurt her that she was preferred to Vai. It seems to me that if it had been for emotion and resentment, at the time of execution (although the very fact that she was going to EXECUTE her and aimed at her neck already says a lot) she would not have looked so cold-blooded and indifferent.
@By heart: It seems to me that Maddy was originally an agent of Noxus in Piltover, in the world of Runterra this is a common thing. And Ambessa was just fabulously lucky that when she decided to throw Sailoh overboard and turn her attention to Princess Kiramman to seize power in the city, Caitlin's squad already had their spy who could be used. But at the same time, I am confused by the execution scene: Maddie did not shoot Caitlin in the head, which would have led to instant death, she shot her in the neck, and this is a painful death with agony. This suggests that either Maddie is a sadist who likes to watch people suffer, or she felt a deep hatred for Caitlin at that moment and wanted to hurt her as much as possible. This behavior is not typical of cold-blooded Noxians and seems to hint at some personal scores.
@Orsha111: The execution scene is also very confusing to me. Very. Maybe such hatred is due to contempt for Caitlin, for the fact that she betrayed Ambessa I just don't fit the image of Maddie running after Kate like a puppy with Maddie executing Kate in cold blood.
@By heart: or the nice girl Maddy turned out to have a very inflated ego and she was simply unable to accept the fact that she was abandoned, even if this man was just a job for her and she didn't love him.
Or she actually managed to fall in love with Caitlin up to her tonsils, and reacts so painfully to the breakup. But this is somehow completely implausible.
@By heart: regarding Ambessa's betrayal, Maddie poured it into Kate's ears that she was the most important here, the whole Piltover was for her, and she could safely expel the Noxians from the city together with Ambessa.
@By heart: I suggest an alternative option: initially Maddy did not like Kate, but she could not refuse her because she was higher in rank, from a noble family and generally the dictator of Piltover. She was forced to play the role of her girlfriend in order not to harm her career. Therefore, she was happy to betray her as soon as the opportunity presented itself. Therefore, she was ready to kill Kate in cold blood, indifferently and with maximum sadism.
@Mira5: so Caitlin is being exposed here by a person who, using his official position, inclines his own employee to intimacy? It doesn't seem like her. In addition, the screenwriter said in an interview that the scene in the bar was originally planned, where Maddie rolls up to Caitlin, who is depressed, after which everything started to spin. But, unfortunately, due to the limited screen time, the scene went under the knife.
@Mira5: this option does not fit in with what we were shown. If only because in their scenes Maddie was very, well, very intrusive. They were usually alone in these scenes, so there was no point in playing affection to her if you consider it in the context of your version🤔
@Orsha111: I do not know what that scene might look like. I judge only by what was shown in the series. Kate could have used her position unknowingly. She was upset about the breakup with Vai and she really wanted human warmth. And so she sees a cheerful Maddie and decides that she needs it right now. But she doesn't understand what it looks like from the outside, when a man comes up to you, so much above you in position, who can destroy you with one word. And so, in fact, it turned out that way. Just as one of the versions.
@By heart: well, Maddie is actually presented in the scene with Vai in the first episode, as if this is her usual behavior. Well, such a simple person is cheerful and sometimes annoying.
@Mira5: Yes, Maddie seems like that to us. But you must admit that for a person who is forced to sleep with a dictator, under duress, her behavior looks strange. Rather, Caitlin's behavior looks like a person who is in a place where he does not want to be. It's like Kate was forced, not Maddy. 🤔
@By heart: in general, all of Caitlin's interaction with Maddie caused a strong association "I slept with a good man drunk, and now you don't know how to get rid of him so as not to offend"))
@By heart: But Maddie doesn't have any leverage to force Kate into anything. Let's assume that Maddie didn't sleep completely under duress at first, she was interested, but it quickly turned out that Kate was just using her to heal the wounds after breaking up with Vai. And Maddie can't leave this relationship, because you never know how Kate will react, and all her attempts to get closer somehow come across the most cold attitude. This desperate situation gradually makes her hate Kate and pushes her to betrayal. Phew, I wrote a whole fanfiction, lol)
@By heart: I also think that initially, the moment was too revealing when she started beating her chest first, encouraging everyone and Kate to come out + someone said why a junior officer stands in the first line of protection when a speech is made at the opening of the memorial, also suspicious, knowing the danger there should be more professionals, not ordinary patrolmen the streets, and Ambessa was telling Vai "your absence created a void that I was able to fill" which also hints that she sent Maddie, because if she were really a nooname, she could somehow interfere by accident and Ambessa would rather do everything to get rid of her
@Kentavr: I didn't even pay attention until someone started comparing screensavers in the Twitter feed even during the release of the first act, but in the third the changes were already more striking, I like all these little things so much, with each such find there is more respect for the creators
I liked it incredibly, cupcakes. I was a few days late with the finale because I didn't want to finish watching it. This is a masterpiece, you can't even say that you can make such a masterpiece animated series based on a mob game. How they twisted my opinion in the second season about whom to hate and whom to empathize with, forced me to change my shoes. I'd like to take another look.
Well honey...the copper. The best animated series, and maybe not only the series that I've watched in the last couple of years, so for sure. Everyone here seems to have fallen in love with Jinx, but Vai has sunk into my heart. There is nothing to say about those who are indignant about the lore of the game, etc. I haven't played the game, and I'm probably not going to, I only watched streams and a couple of cinematics before the series. But I don't understand why you want to limit the authors to a game plot. Here's a multiverse for you, so you don't bite your fingers off while you're watching. The game has its own here. One question remains, what happened to Heimerdinger? He was supposed to teleport somewhere, too.
It's beautiful, interesting, but in fact a happy ending because heimerdinger and Ekko somehow got into 1 universe, and Jace into another (even in his own but at a different time). Heimerdinger lived there for 1000 years and liked it, but he decided to give up everything because Ekko is a talented student. Further, this imbalance device (the principle of which is unclear) returns Ekko in time to the moment of Jinx's despair (not before and not after!)(I could have returned it a year before the war, for example, or in the age of dinosaurs)(and in the final it turns out to rewind time by only seconds!) It turns out that the final is like this because well, just lucky. Most likely, Ekko would have been at the wrong time. So the finale was disappointing.
@Xpillz: Ekko does not return the same device that Ekko then carries with him. He and Heimerdinger have set up a whole installation. So she was able to send it a long distance. And a small one is only for a small one. In general, the Ecco device can continue to send, but if you use it for more than 5 seconds, it is dangerous. Someone can "flatten". Therefore, Ekko rewound for a longer period in the very end when there was no choice. When he was captured by the steel dolls.
@Xpillz: And didn't all three of them end up in the same universe, but at different times? Because Heimeidinger lived there for 3 years until Ekko appeared. So I thought Jace was there too, but somewhere in the future. Also, at the end, they showed Powder with her bag of fragments..🤔
@By heart: the universe is different because vai is dead there, but alive in the original one. Jace is in the 1st universe, since Victor has captured everyone there and the arcane has already begun to capture the flora and fauna entirely, as Victor himself says. The beginning of this process was shown in the original universe. And why the same thing should be in the universe where Vai is dead is unclear, we were not shown this. It turns out that Jace got into the future, and shaggy and Ekko got into another one, but at about the same time
@Xpillz: Jace also got into an alternate universe, and not into the future of his world, it seems to me. At least he disassembled his hammer to make a footrest, then took his hammer from the dead Jace, and already walked with him. Well, Victor in the hood is also quite an alternative to himself, who did not evolve to an ancient deity :D
@By heart: they got into different worlds, because in the scene where Ekko and Powder are sitting on the balcony (or whatever you want to call it), it is clearly visible that the Tower has not been built. Jace comes to the Tower.
For the first time, it is difficult to write a comment on what you have seen. The arcane of the brain🤯 This is the moment when the dictionary is powerless in front of the visual. I give 5 stars for the masterpice, but in my mind I take one off for too ragged narration, incompleteness and incomprehensibility of many plot arches. What seemed important and the only thing eventually exploded and scattered into a billion questions, which, perhaps, I will get answers if I reconsider.
An excellent and dramatic first season and a crumpled, albeit spectacular second. The finale touched me more visually than emotionally. I buried Jinx a long time ago, so her death was not a surprise to me.
There's a lot of everything, too much of everything, after watching it, it's like they shone a flashlight in my eyes for a long time and Dragonsplay is playing somewhere 😂
Let's be honest, it's a great series! Thanks to Netflix, I haven't watched any animated series for so long, especially since I've never played League of Legends myself, but damn, it didn't stop me from watching such a masterpiece at all) Definitely an open final, a lot can be thought out, but still, thanks for stopping! For investing in the season. I thought it would not be better than 1, but here it was just a dressing down)
The animated series contained great footage, colors and individual 10 stars for the music! Definitely goes to the top of the best I've watched♥️❤️
I do not share the enthusiasm 🤷🏼♀️ the picture, of course, is great, and the soundtrack is top 🔥but ... a lot of things remain unclear. I do not understand Ambesa's motives- why, against whom is she going with this war? And Victor? What is its purpose? Jinx was pointlessly leaked at the end.
that's what they finished, of course, it's a pity Jinx, Victor and Jace are together, but where did Heimerdinger go?! Everyone forgot about my grandfather!😱 I hope they will make such series about other lola heroes, they have a lot of heroes there, there were small references to the temple of Jeanne and Timo in the slot machine, is this Timo a fictional Persian?😃
I'm just thrilled!!! The best animation, the best story, the best of everything. To say that the series is gorgeous is to say nothing. There are just no words. I'm just giving you a standing ovation!
What a lot of work has been done by artists and animators. The picture changes in a matter of seconds, but so much time and effort is invested in creating each frame. The final scenes with Victor are something out of the ordinary!
It was very beautiful. It's still not very clear about the Arcane and the Black Rose, though. Ekko is just love. In general, the appearance of Ekko, Jinx and zaunovtsev, who came to the rescue, is gorgeous. A very emotional ending. An insanely beautiful scene with the burning of papers with names.
@FokaPossum: And yes, it's ironic how much Jace and co relied heavily on hextek in this battle. As for possible future projects, I personally am waiting for Yasuo.
@padawan7756 "I have thoughts about the next project. First of all, yes, it will concern Noxus and related events. The focus will be on the rivalry of the rulers of Noxus and the wars beloved by Noxus. Most likely, only the war with Ionia, where Sinjed's chemical weapons were fully revealed, will be affected from the events. Also, in the series about Noxus, Jinx will be 100%, where her arch will be secondary. It is not a fact that she will appear immediately, rather at the end of the first season, in order to whet people's interest in the second season.
There are several facts that Jinx is flying to Ionia: Firstly, judging by the clouds and lighting at the time of departure, Jinx is flying to the northeast, where Ionia is located. Secondly, Ionia is famous for the fact that the locals live in harmony with themselves and the world around them, which is necessary for Jinx to recover Thirdly, Ionia is the first victim of the chemical weapons that recently appeared in Noxus, which means that chronologically she must be in the plot of the series.
It is important to note that for all the events of the series, from the explosion at the warehouses to the end of the Arcane, Jinx is watched by Swain's crows. Swain clearly spotted Jinx for his plans, as in the final scenes, his raven smashes the remains of Jace's hammer in order to take the hex core. And the only person besides Jace who managed to turn hextek into a weapon is Jinx, who just went to the places of interest of Noxus. After all, Noxus' main goal is military superiority, not to mention that hextek will allow Svein to gain tremendous power."
imho. Jinx is the most popular Persian of the series. Ash stump, she'll be back. especially in the world of magic, where you can always resurrect anyone.
@berion87: Kate was made half-Ionian in the series, perhaps precisely in order to justify the appearance of the character in this region (if an armed conflict begins in her father's homeland, it is quite logical that she will not stay away). And where Kate is, there's Vai. So much for the whole family again.
Let's say it's probably been written hundreds of times, but I can't help but say: the beginning of almost every episode (before the opening, so to speak) is the wildest thing I've seen in animation!!! Yes, what is there "in almost"! In every episode! Tearing off the head is easy! Sometimes I couldn't believe my eyes! And I was just in a stupor: how can such a thing be thought up and done?!
It's a shame that thanks to the still impeccable work of the artists, emotional scenes, and music, everything that was perfect in season 1 and the beginning of season 2 was so successfully smeared. What happened in the last 4 episodes of season 2, I don't even want to sort out the questions, but they are for the actions of each hero, starting with the targeted murder of Vander in the 6th series, when, as in the cave before that, there was no reason to believe that there was nothing left of Vander. Even in the episodes after, we are shown how Victor burned his memories, which means there was a lot that could have been done differently.
But alas... it remains just to express my opinion here and believe that in a parallel universe, the 2nd season was 6 episodes more in order to finish this wonderful series without haste.
I'm ready to get dislikes, but I didn't like season 2 because of three reasons. Firstly, stuffing non-traditional characters into the fashionable now, not for business and not for fun, but just because it was because it was kind of cool:( Secondly, the trick of the series gets boring, where everything is fine and goes according to plan, but at the minute when everything should end well, some character will say some crap and everything goes to hell:( Thirdly, there is no alignment in the plot and motivation of the characters, then they are at war and ready to kill each other, then they forgive or change their minds to try to kill again. It's repulsive to empathize with the hero because you don't understand what they want at all. And it's as if absolutely everyone suffers from sclerosis and forgot that Jinx soaked the soldiers of the city to the right and left, not to mention the terrorist attack at the end of the first season:(
I really liked the series. I just didn't understand about the Ambessa. Why did Mel say she wasn't an Ambessa at all. It turns out that someone was running the Ambessa? Black Rose or Victor? Or did the attic just flow from the thirst for power? She first called Mel a fox, and then a wolf. Everything else is generally clear to me and I don't even care where Heimerdinger went. I believe Jinx is alive, just separated from her family.
@InnaAlieva: about Ambessa, I don't remember such a moment. It seems that Mel told that mysterious magician who kept Ambessa in chains that she saw her deception. well, there was also a moment when Ambessa Mel said, they say, she is not a Medard, but that means she is unworthy of the name of the genus.
It feels like they were trying to cram the plot into two seasons this season. The pace of the narration was very fast and crumpled ... and so the picture is naturally top, and the soundtrack (both ost and original motion score) causes goosebumps, thanks a lot for that, I haven't listened to such high-quality work for a long time.
I'm probably going to be pelted with tomatoes, but I felt ambivalent about the second season. The robust and sometimes violent plot of the first season is broken by the sometimes primitive pressure on a tear. The pace of the narrative sags and slips, sometimes literally in a series. All this, unfortunately, blurs the impression of the last episode, leaving a taste of understatement. On the other hand, unlike the sometimes crumpled arches of the characters, the animation quality and interesting moves are above all praise.
I may not be expressing a popular opinion, but the series is not worth such rave reviews. I watched the last episodes already on rewind, because it's not clear at all what's going on on the screen.
The second season is much weaker than the first. And yes, it looks like a tracing paper from Spider-Man through Universes 2 because of the grunge effects. Why did their creators add them when in the first season the epileptic neon pulsating flashes looked much fresher and more interesting.
But what cannot be taken away from the series is the non-linear editing, when events occur simultaneously, or even at different times. Of course, it's a little confusing at first - but when the lines converge towards the finale, we see an epic ending.
And so the creators skillfully manipulate the viewer's opinion, exposing the antagonist in a positive way, causing empathy for the villain, while a truly positive hero causes only antipathy from the viewer. As they say, here our sympathies are on the side of the villain. This happens due to the understatement, and I think this is the best feature of the series.
Basically, the series has an essentially simple plot. They began with the confrontation of two cities and political intrigues, and ended with the struggle against universal evil, when these same opposing cities united against a more powerful enemy.
To summarize, it is not a bad dynamic series with gorgeous graphics and animation, an interesting ent of some characters. Not a masterpiece, but quite a good series, but at times weaker than the first season
Alas, in my opinion, the project was drowned in its own pathos
He lost all the charm built in the first season through plausible images of characters, distinct interpersonal and interclass conflicts, neatly framed by the detailed beauty of modern aesthetics and the subtlety of motivations
An amusement park with blackjack, Thor, Loki and the three-eyed raven was built on such a foundation. And delusional pseudo-religion in the Oriental spirit, as if Pelevin had dreamed
I have already lost my comment, I will continue separately. I wrote there that I didn't like the ending very much. Well, in general, season 2 is worse (but still good, at least due to graphics and music, as well as drama, well, the script went somewhere to the Maldives).
I have a pretty unpopular opinion about Jace. Judging by Instagram, especially the English-language one, where they discuss the Arcane, Jace is either disliked or considered uninteresting. And I think it's just a gorgeous character with a very complicated story.
Let's start from the beginning. Before he became a golden boy, he was not golden for a long time. A scientist who fails in his research time after time, even though he became a wealthy resident of Piltover, did not feel happy because he could not achieve the goal that he had drawn in his bright head. Having suffered another setback due to our irrepressible friends (the failure lies in the fact that everything took off and he was kicked out of the Academy), he almost took his own life, and if it hadn't been for Christ's Resurrection, then he definitely wouldn't have failed in this.
But! Then the confession, he's finally the golden boy, face of progress. Everything is fine, they want to see him everywhere at court, someone just wants to (hello, Mel), research is underway, except that the old dog Heim stops them, and then… Face of progress faced the progress.
The realization that there is a Lower City, that there is its hextack, which can be a deadly weapon, and in season 2, in general, the understanding that he has opened a portal to hell, which only he can close. Episode 1 of season 2 is Heavy is the crown, and she is usually associated with Caitlin, on whose fragile shoulders lay the responsibility for the entire Kiramann house and its possessions. But! His crown will be heavier than the one that was placed on Caitlin, his world is spinning in full both seasons, he understands things that he never even thought about before, passionate about his research and enjoying the popularity that has fallen on him.
His story is very rich and interesting, in fact. All the changes and suffering that fall on him like from a cornucopia may not be so noticeable through season 2, because everything there is rushing like a fighter jet. And this is a mistake of the screenwriters.
In short, this is a post of love and recognition of Jace as a very interesting character Arcane. I really liked you, Jace!
The key twist of the battle is Ekko's immunity to Victor's puppeteering: everything around, even Mel with his imbecility, shown on the eve of what is happening, are automatically connected by the threads of the universe, and here surprise is an exception.
If with Jace there is another reservation, more or less understandable (confrontation with Victor), then with Ekko it is not clear from the word at all. And I'm not talking about the scene before his "decisive jerk" that woke up Jace. I'm talking about the spectacular appearance of Ekko on the gravitsap before this.
Who can explain why those same threads did not initially connect to Ecco, even though it was in the affected area? :)
@vonadala: he has no immunity. He is on an equal footing with the others. It's just that he has a time-rewind jar and every time he pulls the cord from it to connect it. If you look at others, it takes a few seconds before your eyes get cloudy. And it is necessary that the puppets touch the head. The whole point is that just a fraction of a second more and everything would be gone
@Даня_: Mel is caught without touching, the threads descend from the air and grab everyone, but not Eco. This is exactly what the screenwriter's whim is. Eco is simply not touched, because the plot will not go without this moment. Why, why, is not clear.
@killerrok: Jace, it turns out, is also special, the thread does not fly to him. And Jinx was able to dodge her for the first time. And also at the moment when Vai and Jinx are fighting with Warwick, three threads fly to them and the third is not for Warwick, he is already converted. There are only Jinx, Vai and Ekko unconscious in the dome of living people at this moment. That is, he flies away from this thread in time.
And if we talk about the final moment, which I have in the screenshot above, then this is a completely different effect. Many other peacekeepers and Zaunites were also seized at the time of the puppet attack. Sevika was also hanging, but the thread did not fly to her immediately. The threads flew to them only when Victor let them on the roof, and until that moment all these people hung helplessly in the hands of the puppets. The only question here is where to do the thread that flew to Ekko and did not reach. Everything else fits together very logically
Thank you very much for the wonderful series! I assumed, of course, that there would be no happy ending, but I definitely did not expect such a finale! Naturally, I think Jinx survived! Well, who else would sail on an airship. And it's not for nothing that a flash with a sound effect appears during the explosion. Therefore, we relax and wait for the next series from the Raiots!
Maybe we've already discussed it. It's very hard to read 500+ comments. Please explain what's going on with Ambessa and the witch. When Ambessa was defeated, a witch came, and Mel told her that she could see her face. Isn't it because of the witch that her mother did all this? Or had Mel just not given her up to the witches?
@kiichiro: and there are no answers, as well as to another thousand questions, why and why no one has explained. Unfortunately, the plot from the second half of the series turns into a kind of dump of ideas without development.
It's incredible!!! I never thought that an animated series could be so big and cool. So much action is very rarely seen anywhere, no hassle. This is a very cool series!
I finally watched the series to the end, read all (almost) 600 comments and agree with most of them. The first season was much better, because the authors did not try to embrace the immensity, their story was more intimate. I understand that the series is not called Vi vs Jinx, but the lines from Ambessa/Mel and Victor/The Jays have only made the season more difficult. The first arch was a clear continuation of the first season, and then they galloped through the universes - the Black Rose - father. There was a great lack of timing from the second arch, maybe it would be superfluous to stretch it to the third season, but another arch for three episodes would only decorate the season and allow you to reveal the characters and their story in more detail.
Visually, it's a cannon. Editing, music, style - all this is on some kind of exorbitant level. Whatever the scene, it's either a stack frame, or cut into GIFs. I will be happy to watch other Riots projects on the universe.
P.S. I'm sure Jinx is alive and we'll see her again.
The second season, it's as if Vander and Silko in the third episode of the first season took and reconciled. Well, or after the third episode, the last one immediately followed.
The first act still went nowhere. Organically followed the events of the first season. But then everything rushed at such a speed that we were essentially shown the bare skeleton of the plot, the main theses, and there was not even a second of time left for the details and living of these events so that they left some kind of emotional response. Well, Kate became a dictator. And what kind of conflict did this lead to? That's right, to no one. Or maybe we saw some of her experiences, mental tossing? Nothing like that! The next time they met with Vai, they immediately reconciled. Warwick was revived, killed, revived again, and killed again. And all this in a few episodes. What kind of game is this? How did Jinx become Zaun's hero? What did she do if she was sitting in her den with Isha and reflecting? Yes, Isha herself has done more for Zaun than Jinx! At least she organized the escape! Well, here's a short stylistic cut of blue graffiti for 30 seconds. That's it, Jinx is a hero. Let's drive on!
The story of the Black Rose? In general, no one understood a damn thing what it was. Maddie's betrayal? There are a lot of questions again. Was she a rat right away or after she was abandoned? Yes, why such nuances, we have a glorius evolution here! And Jinx's death? I almost broke my face with a facepalm. The best TV series of the decade ends with a cliched fall into the abyss? After the whole batch is already over? I could not have imagined a more artificially forced death! Am I really watching the Arcane?
Seriously, the scene of burning all the bridges and blowing up Jeans was many times, many times more dramatic than this miserable final fall.
And we also get a plot hole. If Jace in an alternate universe had a heart-to-heart conversation with Victor and he asked him as a friend to change his mind, then why the hell did Jace come back angry as hell and kill Victor without any foreplay? He should have cooled off after this conversation by now!
@ChrisRedfield: Many justify this high-speed fuck-up with a lack of money, but the Riots have already planned the next seasons. Noxia, Ionia, etc. That is, there is money for Noxia, but there was not enough for at least one more act for the Arcane? Wouldn't it be better to finish the show that shot properly than to finish it so messily and bet on the next one?
@ChrisRedfield: most of the questions and outrages find answers if you watch the series carefully, although the plot really runs too fast Maddy was a Noxian from the very beginning, this was confirmed by the scriptwriter of the series
@GeistLuft: They don't answer any questions. How the hex devices continued to work, although others of them turned off, why the brain capture did not affect Ivf, what happened to Victor, that he saw the light when he saw the jar, why the robots turned off, and dad continued to rage, what happened to the black rose, why first we hand over the mother, then we see someone's face, and we pull out the mother. What happened between Silko and Vander, why one drowned the other. And you can throw up a bunch of such questions.
We are waiting for Noxus, Ionia and Demasia.
I kissed the hands of the masters and geniuses who created it! The picture, the music, the plot, the elaborated characters of the characters, all the smallest details are. simply. something. I experienced all sorts of emotions during the viewing.
I'll be depressed for at least a month - first because of the plot, and then from the realization that the series is over😭
I don't believe she's dead!
No wonder Kate decided to inspect the hextek device, holding this monkey in her hands, and saw that there were some branches, such as passages 😭
@Verdant8: They say that until the character is shown dead on the screen, one can hope that they are alive.
a prison cell? Do you think I needed all that security at the Hex Gate? Well, I'm sorry, you've become very predictable."
It will definitely be reviewed more than once, it is very good 💔
Truly a masterpiece
Here you look, you think, Well, much cooler, and every time there is a lot to do
It seemed logical to complete the Jinx line, but at the same time I would not want her to die so much.
And the series ends with a shot of an airship, Jinx's first words in episode 1 were "one day I'll ride one of them";
They killed a bunch of characters, the series about the sisters is over, why would they suck Jinx's life out of nowhere?
they answered above about the purple trail, I've reviewed it now, it really looks like it's an animated show, there's a huge number of frames changing every second, which are carefully drawn, so there's just nothing, every scene / every frame is for something..
"which, by the way, was in vain in the end, because Varvik was revived and he started going against our GG again
So Isha went to the heroic Roskomnadzor not for the sake of Varvik, but in order to save Jinx at the moment, whom she admired and whom, as she, Isha, thought, would not survive if Varvik was not neutralized.
Also in the last episode, we see Caitlin studying the layout of the tower shaft.
Somewhere higher up in the comments is a screenshot with the moment of the explosion, there you can see the trace of Jinx.
Therefore, I declare with full confidence that she is alive))
Judging by the ending, Noxus will be next.
It would be great if they announce something next year. And so far there is not even a time frame when something new will come out of them.
Anyway, it was such a wonderful trip. Riot Games, my respect. I can't wait to find out what kind of story we'll see next. <3
I don't want to believe that her story ended like this.😭
I used to have strength, but I ran out of hope
I know it's my fault that I'm here all alone
This world is a wasteland
Please let me go, go, go, go, go, go, go
But the fact that Ekko could have flown away with her, I didn't think about it emotionally) It became a little easier 🥹
I really don't want her to be alone after everything she's been through!
The Keithwys are happy, the people have united, Jinx has got her peace and even Jaywick are iykyk partners again
(the only thing I don't understand is why they made Maddie a villain because how would??? I understand the keytvi cacon and all that, but it's just a weird twist)
I remembered the ending of the Joker a little
The battle of Sevika and Smich is the only justification for the existence of the second season.
Ну и да, совсем нет ощущения "финала". Просто конец серии. Всё-таки первый сезон был значительно лучше...
Victor and James' strong male friendship saved everyone)
I want to joke and admire at the same time, a cool series!
I couldn't get rid of the Game of Thrones vibes at the end with these three-eyed crows, it looks like a hint of a sequel, although it doesn't seem to be planned yet
Ну а та где многие таки "эволюционировали" - это где Джейс по пустошам шлялся... Такое себе, имхо лично мне нравится больше без таких "эволюций".
"We're finishing this together"
"Now I just want my partner back"
"Why do you persist after everything I've done"
"But you were never broken, Viktor"
And all that remains after watching is devastation and sadness
Ekko is good, he saved everyone, and I liked the first scene of this series with Jinx, I suspected after the words in the last episode that she would try to finish everything, and Vai at this time... + how Vai decided to stand on the platform and suddenly Vander woke up and what it led to - well, this. The strength of Jace and Victor's friendship also saved them, a beautiful moment. Well, Maddy got a nice one after her words, of course)
p.s. in the end, only Sinjed, who returned his daughter, was without losses.
Most likely, of course, it will not be Le Blanc, but some of her six, but we still have 5 years to wait for an answer to this question.
I'm glad that most of them liked the ending, I would like it to go in the same way, but it just didn't cause any emotions for me, unfortunately.
gt; but we've already had enough of this shit in other franchises, we don't have to.
Just when other franchises are trying to jerk off into the same universe of games and movies, SHIT comes out.
A separate ENT of the series and a separate ENT of the game is the top solution.
The simplest example.
That's the point. There will always be a difference, but they consider the canon to be common. And not separate for movies and separate for books.
Therefore, it is necessary to divide the universes by sources. For games, one is canon, for books another, for TV series the third.
I don't think that Mel killed Le Blanc, it's just that her kung fu turned out to be stronger and she pulled herself and her mother out of the paws of the roses. As I understood it, in the last frames we were shown that she had gone home to break faces and figure out who was there
There are too many assumptions, too many rules made up out of nothing.
That's it. End.
I will live in denial and believe that Jinx flew away at the end on that airship)
The animation in the third act has become EVEN better, although it would seem much narrower
In general, of course, I would never have thought that one of my most favorite TV series in the world would be a cartoon about the League
There is a feeling of completeness; emptiness, too.
it was disturbing to watch, and after the finale, the heaviness remained.
Heimerdinger is the most adequate character, so careful, guileless, caring and with a sparkle in his eyes — my number 1;
Jinx and Vai want to hug, their stories hurt my heart;
Ecco is on time and the best support. And touching moments with Powder in a parallel world <3
And if the universe is really infinite, then there is a world somewhere where Vai is alive, and everything has worked out for everyone...
And the main indicator is that it's hard to switch to the real world after it, which means that something really hooked me in all this
1) A purple trace is visible in the freeze frame just before the explosion, this always appears when Jinx uses the power of flickering.
Caitlin studies the ventilation scheme of the gate, holding a fragment of a bomb in her hand, that is, it turns out they searched everything, but found only a fragment.
The only thing is that the developers will need to slightly update some biographies in the game and on the universe website, for example, Jace and Victor, in order to adjust them to the events of the Arcane
gt;All characters who are game champions in lola automatically receive scenario armor, since the events of the Arcane are the backstory of some of the lola characters, and since they exist in the current lola timeline, they will survive in the backstory by themselves
Ambessa sends her regards, keck.
No, the game and the animated series have separate canons. The characters of the game may well die in the animated series, as shown.
> All characters who are game champions in lol automatically receive scenario armor
Ambessa is definitely dead.
Heimerdinger is dead.
James and Victor are most likely dead.
Warwick is probably dead.
Jinx... Here she is, probably alive.
It's a pity for all those who died, but the series was about three conflicts, where a common trouble and an enemy finally helped to solve everything:
- Zauna and Piltover
- Victor and Jace
- Vi and Jinx
And it is possible that at the end of the credits without music, it's even better - they allow you to think about everything.
ps/ thank you for such a great series, I didn't want to break away from any series for a minute, even on notifications on my phone, you savor every minute with your eyes and heart 🩷 it is
mandatory to recapitulate and of course, we are waiting for the continuation, even if not specifically with these characters!!
In general, I dream of a sequel, at least in some form, so I don't want to say goodbye to the characters :(
was
something
a masterpiece
, it's a pity that Hamer wasn't in the final (
but there is a chance that Jinx survived
Maximum actions for 1 minute of timing, maximum rides on an emotional swing. But in fact, for a clear closure of all branches, it was necessary to have 4-5 more episodes.
BUT GOD FORBID SOMEONE GETS BORED.
In general, if the first season was a clear and thoughtful adventure for 9/10, then the second season is a mess of a bunch of hastily closed branches and a bunch of scenes in order to shed a tear for 6/10.
It would take another year for them to prescribe a clear script, but we have what we have. The overall feeling of the series is heavily blurred due to the approach of "cutting money before they forget about us"
I love Jinx with all my heart and she's just the best girl
> And now Vander, healed by him, does not recognize Vai and Jinx.
All his memories were erased, Sinjed with his drug. It was also said about it directly, and even the footage was how all his memories are burned forever...
I'm not that disappointed, the spectacle is still amazing, but it's like the material for two seasons was stuffed into one, with all the consequences.
"I don't want to be alone so much... The Lord of Nothing!!" - Victor literally sang at the end, ahaha
After all, the first season was stronger and more dramatic. With a series with a parallel dimension, we could play the ending of season 2 (ala Darkness). But thanks for the series. 9 out of 10. 10 for season 1 and 8 for the second.
And then it seems that this case will be greatly curtailed
What the fuck? in theory, he didn't have the beginnings of Vander's mind left, he should be a death machine, no..? did you feel then he didn't tear them in a second, wtf? perhaps because of this, the scene with Jinx caused only bewilderment, because there was no threat at all
well, the blue man is a legend, he survived all this massacre being a minor character, respect to him, worried about his life more than his own, was sure that he would be merged after the man who looks like Vander (F by the way)
True story))
the whole season gives events in broad strokes, jumping from one to the other.
And these twists are in the spirit of Brazilian TV series (and dad is not dead).
And Yesus with AliExpress.
There are a lot of interesting characters. I wonder if there will be a sequel in this series or if they will make another one.
Regarding them, I will explain, what is the meaning of Isha's death if he was resurrected anyway? Jinx wouldn't have died if it weren't for Vai's stupidity, it's just ridiculous, I feel very sorry for her. They've buried Dad three times already, how can you react like that for the first time(
What is the essence of the conflict between Ambessa and the Black Rose in general? A mysterious figure from Jace's childhood, aka Victor, generally from where when how.
(Maybe, of course, it should be carefully reviewed and it will become clearer)
Thus, James handed the rune to Victor (because his friend Victor asked him to do this) and showed the result of his actions.
Anyway, it's all very beautiful, the music is top, but the plot is very confusing.
I'm sure the wiki for the series will do a full analysis of all the events...
And yes, Jinx is my favorite and I uncompromisingly believe that she is alive😉
it was a masterpiece, beautiful and powerful! The characters are a delight! no wonder we waited 3 years. I will definitely review it.
Jinx, my heart is crying. It's sad that nothing worked out for him and Ekko in this universe. and this scene where Ekko sat and lit this piece of paper in memory of Jinx 😭💔
https://open.spotify.com/artist/57nPqD7z62gDdq37US9XJR
The plot - I join the dissatisfied ones: it seemed wildly chaotic, they tried to stuff too much, in some episodes at the junction of breaks there was a feeling that I had missed some series.
Because of this, somehow the emotional connection with the characters is lost - Victor becomes an antagonist at the moment, nothing is clear about Mel at all, Jace wandered somewhere there and Caitlin changes sides somewhere off-screen.
Jinx's redemption - well, it will go with beer, you could add more Power, it would be more interesting than with a child and Vander.
As a result, I only feel sorry for Heim))
The finale is kind of beautiful, but somehow it doesn't even feel like a finale, they barely managed to show Mel, Ekko and a couple.
Season 2 is good for those who are not familiar with the league at ALL and will not play in the future.
Season 2 is good for those who want to LOOK at the visual, effects, animation in general.
Season 2 is good for those who just ENJOY what's happening on screen without getting too involved in the plot.
BUT.
Season 2 is NOT for league players from the word at all - here is a different canon, the character of the characters, frankly noticeable plot holes and fanservice for the sake of fanservice (perhaps this is a common problem with netflix, I'm not going into it)
season 2 is NOT for those who follow the arches of the heroes and expect logical actions from them - they will not be, that's all they act irrationally, it remains to admire the picture
Season 2 is NOT for fans of a good script and measured tempo - here the whole narrative is chaotic and we managed to relax only in a different timeline of the 7th series - thanks Amanda Overton - otherwise: we brewed a lot of porridge, which needs to be finished as soon as possible, because the budget is not rubber, and the rito is still skins to do
Additions with a common problem:
Even the jerks from Jace and Victor had more chemistry than in prison between Vai and Caitlin, sori not sori.
Thank you all.
The scenes with Ekko in a parallel world are clearly superfluous. Fundamentally, they don't carry anything to the plot, they just took up time. There would be a hurry to do something "what if everything was fine"
When you concentrate the story around such references, then you get Marvel 4-phase movies, which you need to watch tons of content to understand what's what.
And it doesn't make any sense at all, because literally every dog knows that Mel is the daughter of an Ambessa. It wasn't some kind of classified information. The only reason why CR grabbed the Chalk right now is because the authors decided to introduce CR into the narrative right now.
"And what could she do?"
Well, the CR still hasn't killed her, so she could have done something. Moreover, she has runes that counteract magic. What should be so interesting about Vander to leave his daughter in the hands of his son's murderers? It's just a big animal, it won't do anything against magic anyway, that is, it's useless for confrontation with the Czech Republic.
"Mel has questions"
And Mel immediately replied that Ambessa had come for Hextek. It was logical: the ruler came for the sake of a new promising development in order to get it for her country. This is logical and sufficient. The whole canoe with Black Roses did not add anything to her motivation.
"And at the same time, somehow uprooting the Black Rose from the plot will entail a failure in this very plot"
No, this filler teaser of the next season can be painlessly removed from the second season altogether. The CRS are literally not connected to any other character except Mel and Ambessa. Deleting this line is not a problem at all, leaving at most the usual mention in the dialog. Like, anyway, we need to protect our country from magicians. And the second season still won't give us a deeper context.
//About every dog that knows she's her daughter.
It mentioned that they were from the same clan and that's why Mel became a member of the council. Finding Chalk in this case is not a problem at all. She is one of the rulers in the famous city of inventors, literally in full view of the whole world. What should I look for here?
"I agree that I know all this only because I read part of the lore."
I, as an ordinary viewer, did not read the additional lore.
"The mother's head was normally blown away by Victor's forces."
Which, in general, made Noxus some kind of boring infernal evil that is ready to give the lives and minds of its citizens to some incomprehensible type with murky goals for the sake of power.
" I repeat, there would have been no loss of Mel, Kate would not have gained power, and Ambessa would not have gained control of Piltover. And let's be honest, Kate wouldn't have taken out against the Ambessa without Mel."
Why? Mel does not take out against the mother, as was demonstrated last season. In addition, Mel could have been brought out of Peltover in a scenario, sending her along with James, Ekko and Heimendinger. It's just that in episode 7, which can be compressed a little, there would be another parallel line about her, where she sees something interesting about her mother and Noxus. Well, or something like that, it's like one of the options. In general, there are thousands of ways to get Chalk out of Peltover and kill Ambessa. To do this, you do not need to enter an additional plot about a Black rose.
Thank you for the discussion too)
As the mainer of Jinx, since her appearance in the game, I am sincerely hurt for my girl :(
There is a lot of understatement, 9 episodes were clearly not enough.
I just want to say a special thank you for the tandem, which I really wanted, but never thought I would get. Mel and Keithley🔥
It was amazing.
was also made a rat.
— I was sure to the last that little Jace was given a rune by his adult and experienced version, but it turned out to be Victor, and he gave different runes each time.
Thank you for the most wonderful series. Yes, the second season is just bursting with events, sometimes there was a real overload, but I understand that it did not work out with the production of the third season, because it was expensive. It's still an incredible project!
Somewhere, the authors said that they failed to insert everything into the plot in the first season and it should have ended differently. Probably because of this, such a frenzied pace turned out in the second season. But it was still wonderful. One visual and the music are worth it!
I don't know who has what opinion, but somehow it doesn't look like this is the end and everything won't be 3 seasons as promised, like only 2 seasons and the story is over because my daughter was going to put on a mother's mask + asked a friend for advice
You're going to keep fighting.
+ She said the words
Our story is not over yet
+ The crow that found something inside the hammer or xs what is it
All this seems to me to hint at 3 seasons
Because there is no - there was no fact that either everyone died or everyone remained alive and happy, which would be as similar as possible to the end of the story
It ended like this personally, as for me, that season 3 will be
I expected this
In any case, thank you very much for the answer and information
If suddenly there is already this series - a sequel called
Noxus
Then drop its name or a link to it, please
I just Googled it that's how it seems to be written, but unfortunately it's not on the site yet, at least with that name
Noxus
Mel got some kind of abilities and learned how to use them, it's a huge piano in the bushes. Nothing was clarified about the Rose at all, it seems they appeared only to give Mel strength.
Caitlin, incredible story armor. She was poked in the torso with something and then she quickly fought with Ambessa, although she should have been easily killed.
Jinx. I didn't believe that she would be killed, but in the end I realized that Arkane has three main characters: two lesbians and one straight woman. There was no question of who to kill, everything was obvious.
And who is this man? A drug dealer, a sociopath, a misanthropic killer. Awesome character who should be put on ten life sentences became a deputy.
I found some interesting TV shows that I didn't know about yet, maybe you'll like them too.

And the Witcher was turned on, apparently, because there is a game. Yes, but the series is not based on the game, but on the books. No, it's not like that. It was planned according to the books 😅
In principle, it may not be very clear with Lara either, and probably with dragonaga too
But at the same time, I know those who watched it without playing it all and still liked it
Well, this is really a list from the category of "These are the series on games and here's another fantasy."
Well, by the way, the dragonaga fits in perfectly. Also magic, also watered. intrigues.
Oh, it's not about Cassandra, it's a new dragonaga cartoon. I didn't know that. What a useful list it turned out to be)
Makin's vox is "dnd with humor", but I do not know where humor or vibe dnd is in the Arkane.
The Arcane is the best thing I've seen, even the Butterfly Effect, the Darkness, and the like can't compare to what I went through watching this masterpiece.
Arkane and Jinx are forever in the heart.
Animation and sound are top.
But I don't know how Hollywood ended, didn't put the squeeze on. And Victor realized everything at the last minute and the cliched fall into the abyss of Jinx, I think you're serious now
- budget savings, a lot of scenes literally drawn in sketches appeared in the season.
- the appearance of empty characters that just exist (Isha, I'm sorry, but you don't work the way Jinx worked for Silko)
- there are no fighting scenes in the season with well-superimposed music of the first season level, which can be watched separately from the general timing and have fun (the exception is probably Seviki's fight with Funny from the 2nd series)
- parallel universes, which, I'm sorry, have already become a bad thing, but we need to somehow justify the death of key characters who should have a story armor because of the game.
- A finale that didn't work for me, as the finales of the first arch of the first season and the magnificent finale of the first season did.
I did not finally understand who the Black Rose was in the end.
Victor and Jace sped off into the vastness of the multiverse.
Jinx seems to have died (or not?), and in the end he was left alone.
And everyone else has wandered off somewhere...
somehow ambiguous for me.
P. S. It was only after writing a comment that I saw the Dead mark on the animated series. So is this really all? I don't agree with that. I don't want to leave this universe.
And after this scene of betrayal, I even disdain to buy her as a character in a TFT game. 😅
I don't know, it's obvious to me that she didn't die and that she just put an end to this chapter of her life with Vai in this way.
And with her shield potentials in this series, confidence is already born that the character has a place to be.
She beat the Black Rose really well. Such a sophisticated and wise character.
For me, Jinx and Mel are the queens of the Arcane. 👑❤️🔥
> There is a lot of excess, a departure from the central line of the first season, the characters are thrown back and forth in terms of motivation, just to bring them to the game images, which only works to the detriment of the story.
A potentially interesting family conflict is needed here only in order to single out one obvious antagonist for the season, whose motives must be sought out in thematic wikis.
> magic in the first season was an auxiliary tool, a link to tell about the confrontation of the sisters through the ideological confrontation of Piltover and Zaun.
Plus, all her skills are suitable. Shields, some kind of lightning on the ground for control and an ulta with gold chains. Really looking forward
I'm sure Jinx is alive. And they don't stop looking for her. No wonder they show us frame - by - frame references to it ! 😍
- the theme of Ambessa, Cinema and Chalk with a black rose (well, here, probably, the districts will make a separate series, there are many prerequisites for this)
- the topic of what happened to Heimedinger - ??
In general, the topic of boobs is not disclosed, as they say, I have not listed everything yet. My expectations were too high after the first season, the guys raised such a bar, but did not reach it: it is clear, unfortunately, that the question was about money. For season 3, it will be difficult to unfasten another budget of this size, the world has become more expensive and heavier.
A few more observations, I will add as the play progresses:
- in the sex scene of Vai and Kate, the graphics are unfinished (maybe I imagined it, but there's soap in places)
- Jace was absolutely unnaturally sick at the beginning of episode 7
- the script has weakened very much, the presentation of information is ragged
So far, here it is. I'll be back)
Interestingly, the Ambessa's breasts in the bathroom scene in the first season were rated, and then the torsos were clogged so that no one, God forbid, would see a piece of breast in 4k
I hope to get an Emmy next year…
Boom! The sisters will be together again
I don't know anything about waiting for two seasons about Demasia and 3 seasons about the war of Noxus and Ionia. It's your own fault. It's too good.
The Arcane is forever in the heart.
there and in the first season, Jace and Mel had sex - how could you let your child watch it?) Or is it something else?
all characters have the same rights to demonstrate what the authors intended.
😂😂😂😂
That's a joke, of course
And unlike the really cringe-worthy examples of a shitty agenda, the relationships in the Arkane are written quite well.
больше всех жаль Джинск, надеюсь она всё таки жива
Not enough time, not enough, of course
How I screamed when Jace and Victor flew to heaven. Well, canon, what to say... Careful, is this the kind of friendship you want for yourself?? Think about it!! Once you find a partner, that's it!
And I also remembered a meme about business partners, hospice) Well, it's a Gotham fandom.
"We can't erase OUR mistakes.";
She's not just fixated on Jinx's mistakes, she's talking about herself too.
Or even when she goes to Jinx, and the last echo of rage flashes in her, she says again
" -No amount of good deeds can undo OUR crimes." Which again talks about "our" crimes.
It's very cool that she doesn't absolve herself of guilt, and not only accepts her mistakes, but also tries to do everything possible to correct them, or prevent the consequences of what she did.
Although I still think that both the characters and, most importantly, the audience, could be more understanding of her in moments. 😅
I have a feeling that Vai is walking in circles, and it's not her fault.
"It's not just animation, it's a living story."
😵The musical accompaniment deserves special delight: each track seems to permeate the plot, moves it forward and makes each scene stronger. The music here is not the background, but another language that conveys emotions. Each note is a blow to the heart.
😮💨"The world is changing because we make it change."
😵"Arcane" is a story that breaks the soul into pieces, then reassembles it, but in a different way.
But which of us will become her fire?"
😵"Arcane" is a manifesto of art, a cry that we are the creators of our lives.
Season 1 is ideal.
Season 2 events were going so fast that you just don't have time to digest too short episodes.
But I would say it's better to do 2 cool seasons than what's happening now with Strangers Things.
The Arcane was originally about Vai and Jinx - it would be strange if the third season began to reveal a completely different story
But I am broadcasting to you the news that was from the showrunners on the project
Because she's been turned out now.
You can dislike, I allow, I only love Jinx and now Isha, whose death was generally meaningless , for the rest I generally have one place.
This is not a TV series - this is a tick-tok clip for a few hours, the buzzer will go off.
Unsurprisingly, the rating has not dropped.
Hopefully, we will still see something of the same level.
I just didn't have time to get attached to anyone, everything changed at the click and rushed at full speed.
the whole season is like one continuous trailer.
In short, I'm really sorry. this series was from the category of those where after the end you stare at a black screen for 10 minutes, and then you turned it off and forgot.
So maybe someone will explain to me at least what an arcane is? ))))) As I understood from this season (I didn't review the first season, I don't remember if there was an explanation) It's magic, power, so to speak. But what is hextek? I thought hextag was magic. And what is the difference? I'm confused
The story is forever in my heart now
. P.S. The creators have pleased us with another new poster to say goodbye.
P.S.: I came to Dormam to make an agreement.
The saddest aftertaste that needs time. Or listen to the song and "please let me go, go, go, go..."
The second season is at the same level of 5 out of 5. 💙
P.S. Vai and Caitlin — a heart
Most likely, Victor helped.
It's not just that she somehow resembles those machines that Victor created from his followers
Maybe such hatred is due to contempt for Caitlin, for the fact that she betrayed Ambessa
I just don't fit the image of Maddie running after Kate like a puppy with Maddie executing Kate in cold blood.
Or she actually managed to fall in love with Caitlin up to her tonsils, and reacts so painfully to the breakup. But this is somehow completely implausible.
In addition, the screenwriter said in an interview that the scene in the bar was originally planned, where Maddie rolls up to Caitlin, who is depressed, after which everything started to spin. But, unfortunately, due to the limited screen time, the scene went under the knife.
The series goes like this:
1 2 3
4 5 6
7 8 9
I was a few days late with the finale because I didn't want to finish watching it.
This is a masterpiece, you can't even say that you can make such a masterpiece animated series based on a mob game.
How they twisted my opinion in the second season about whom to hate and whom to empathize with, forced me to change my shoes.
I'd like to take another look.
One question remains, what happened to Heimerdinger? He was supposed to teleport somewhere, too.
It turns out that the final is like this because well, just lucky. Most likely, Ekko would have been at the wrong time. So the finale was disappointing.
💔👀🎬🏁 Waiting for season 2 was worth it.
Into the very heart
Thank you for such a masterpiece
My eyes are all leaking out.
Thanks to Netflix, I haven't watched any animated series for so long, especially since I've never played League of Legends myself, but damn, it didn't stop me from watching such a masterpiece at all)
Definitely an open final, a lot can be thought out, but still, thanks for stopping!
For investing in the season.
I thought it would not be better than 1, but here it was just a dressing down)
The animated series contained great footage, colors and individual 10 stars for the music!
Definitely goes to the top of the best I've watched♥️❤️
As for possible future projects, I personally am waiting for Yasuo.
I couldn't handle all the comments here. but perhaps they wrote what will happen next😁

"I have thoughts about the next project.
There are several facts that Jinx is flying to Ionia:
Firstly, judging by the clouds and lighting at the time of departure, Jinx is flying to the northeast, where Ionia is located.
Secondly, Ionia is famous for the fact that the locals live in harmony with themselves and the world around them, which is necessary for Jinx to recover
Thirdly, Ionia is the first victim of the chemical weapons that recently appeared in Noxus, which means that chronologically she must be in the plot of the series.

Stray Kids, Young Miko, Tom Morello - Come Play🤘
But alas... it remains just to express my opinion here and believe that in a parallel universe, the 2nd season was 6 episodes more in order to finish this wonderful series without haste.
Firstly, stuffing non-traditional characters into the fashionable now, not for business and not for fun, but just because it was because it was kind of cool:(
Secondly, the trick of the series gets boring, where everything is fine and goes according to plan, but at the minute when everything should end well, some character will say some crap and everything goes to hell:(
Thirdly, there is no alignment in the plot and motivation of the characters, then they are at war and ready to kill each other, then they forgive or change their minds to try to kill again. It's repulsive to empathize with the hero because you don't understand what they want at all. And it's as if absolutely everyone suffers from sclerosis and forgot that Jinx soaked the soldiers of the city to the right and left, not to mention the terrorist attack at the end of the first season:(
And also...I would give all my money to watch the most fucking stretched romance series about Jinx and Ekko
All this, unfortunately, blurs the impression of the last episode, leaving a taste of understatement. On the other hand, unlike the sometimes crumpled arches of the characters, the animation quality and interesting moves are above all praise.
The whole point is that just a fraction of a second more and everything would be gone
Jace, it turns out, is also special, the thread does not fly to him.
In every sense....
Please explain what's going on with Ambessa and the witch.
When Ambessa was defeated, a witch came, and Mel told her that she could see her face. Isn't it because of the witch that her mother did all this? Or had Mel just not given her up to the witches?
Visually, it's a cannon. Editing, music, style - all this is on some kind of exorbitant level. Whatever the scene, it's either a stack frame, or cut into GIFs. I will be happy to watch other Riots projects on the universe.
P.S. I'm sure Jinx is alive and we'll see her again.
Maddy was a Noxian from the very beginning, this was confirmed by the scriptwriter of the series
