At the end of the last episode, suspense caught up when gg crossed the bridge on a bicycle and collected medicines, prayed and everything hinted that he would die and the children would survive, as a result, at the beginning of the series there is only one scene where he arrives with medicines, after 2 minutes they already show 4 graves.

Even in the end, they screwed up - when they were talking on the radio with other survivors and there were doubts among them whether it was worth doing it, they could immediately add a plot. But in the end, they hesitated and immediately made a time jump where they show some kind of incomprehensible place by the river (although those survivors said they lived by the ocean), which ended up being unclear.

I looked at something strange. It's so strange that I don't know if I regret it or not.

It's definitely not worth extending for a second season.

I won't lie if I say that this is the only TV series that I watched on rewind, but I watched HM and BHM at the time)

For 6 episodes, you don't have time to get used to and get into the characters, and there's no desire, to be honest. Probably because there is no more or less significant conflict between the characters. Even Charlie's antagonist was somehow quickly and logically removed from the plot. With this series, there was a situation where the title promised something more than the series was able to give the viewer in the end.

And I really liked it! A great variation on the theme of the end of the world, not hackneyed, realistic enough, without unnecessary nonsense. It's not too long, I was interested in every episode from beginning to end.

And I liked it, it doesn't look like anything I've seen before about the post-apocalypse.

It feels like two things. The story is interesting and I actually liked the time jumps. I don't remember such big ones in other movies and TV series. Otherwise, there are a lot of mistakes in the logic of the characters and screenwriters. It's a good thing they didn't stretch it any further.
I want to read a book for comparison.

The series turned out to be a complete surprise, I would never have thought that such a bland, unorthodox post-apocalypse could be filmed. It's scary to imagine what's in the original novel.

At first, the name was confusing — why is earth without people if there are a decent number of actors there? Towards the end, it became clear that the Earth really is without people, complete idiots are swarming on its surface.

From episode to episode, more and more questions arose — why aren't any of the survivors trying to organize themselves somehow? How can you sit on the remnants of civilization and not try to think at least a little bit about the future? Have you run out of water? Well, we need to go check the pumping station, which somehow worked for several years without any maintenance.

Some nomads with harems, quietly abandoning their debauched lifestyle and becoming farmers after the amnesty. The children's journey to find other people is a couple of kilometers long. The stupid prohibitions of the head of the commune on searching in the hospital where medicines are provided. The love of cold steel in the post—apocalyptic USA is generally the icing on the cake. There's a train car and a small cart—why not use it? The list can go on indefinitely, everything looks like outright nonsense and it's interesting to keep watching, except to find out what else the author of the original source and the screenwriters of the project had enough madness for.

The ending is absolutely gorgeous. 20 years later, the survivors come up with the idea to build a radio transmitter, and then according to the drawings of a kid who really wanted to invent. The university library nearby, of course, did not contain books on assembling the simplest receivers.…
