s01e09 — The RAMs

So many questions after this episode. And it's funny that there's a story that stretches from episode to episode.

They are so intrigued by the story of the Novel, I am waiting for a new detail every episode, and I really hope that there will really be something super confusing and interesting so that expectations are fulfilled ~

Well, damn, I thought there would be a little more information about the Novel.
As it is, it looks like the curtain will only open a crack in the second season.

It was nice to see Domenic Lombardozzi, and I really liked him after Reacher.

Did I just recognize Steve Gutenberg (the same Mahoney from the Police Academy)? How has he changed

The woman so quickly admitted that she was not with her lover at the time of the murder, I even thought she was just grabbing the opportunity so that she would not be suspected. And here so head-on. Twist was missing.
But Romain muddy the water. I'm sure they'll carry his topic through the seasons, so that the viewer has at least some interest. I hope they come up with something new, and not like in the original.

What a boring throughline with a missing husband, any case in the series is more interesting than it is, I hope it will really be completed quickly, as in the original.

It's good that they finished with the boyfriend quickly, apparently they saw the audience's reaction or they planned it that way, everything went neither fish nor meat on purpose, just for show they added a pinch of personal life to the heroine.

Since it is clear that they will eventually be brought together with Karadek, all attempts are perceived purely to stall for time)

What the last episode was about is not clear at all

I really like the series! I haven't watched the French original, it's in the plans, but the character and motivation of the heroine to find a husband are endearing. The line with the janitor ended without ever starting. And their relationship with Karadek is interesting to see what happens next.
I also really like the color scheme, it's so bright, I'm used to detective series being shot as dark as possible so that nothing can be seen, but here's the candy)

The ending is very unclear, but intriguing, is this church supposed to hint at something? Or the windows/frames that Roman made for the church? Or is the point that this Gio left the door open at the end for Morgan to go in there? THE INTRIGUE
And given the misunderstanding with her husband, whether he witnessed illegal cases or was himself a participant in something illegal, it is still unclear even if he is alive or not (because after this episode, for some reason it seems that he is alive)

It's very interesting what happened to Roman 15 years ago.

When Morgan and Karadek have feelings or something more, they will definitely find either Roman himself or some wild information about him that will not allow the couple to be together. The classic plot of such stories)

There was more pleasant irony in the dialogues, more irony and drama in the plots of the episodes themselves and the end-to-end storyline. Here, many characters have "story armor" at once. And the heroine is too bad, everyone is still running around with her.

The story of the Novel is very addictive — there are few details, the series will definitely not be limited to 1-2 seasons. I hope that in season 3 they will give at least an approximate answer to what happened. 😁

I didn't quite understand the meaning of the moment where he enters the church, I thought there would be a connection. The episode flew by instantly again.))
