Squidward gets a call from his old rival Squilliam, and asks him to perform with his orchestra at the Bubble Bowl, since Squilliam himself will not be able to perform. Squidward puts up ads all over the city, and everyone comes to him. But the orchestra rehearsal goes badly, and Squidward gives up the idea. SpongeBob comes to the aid of a friend, he helps the orchestra regain faith in itself, and they play just fine at the concert.
