I'm watching the Rookie season 8 in parallel. There was a series about zombies. So much happened in her, like watching a whole movie, and action, and drama, and comedy. There were places where it was scary and insulting for the characters. I can't help but compare it to this series, because I've watched episodes one after another, and it's like every episode is very calm. Whether something happens or not, the plot looks like the everyday and the mundane. Maybe it's because of Morgan's super abilities that I get the impression, but there's still something missing from this series. Someone wrote here that the line with the Novel is unobtrusively going on, and in my opinion this is a big exaggeration, it barely exists, sometimes a grain of intrigue is thrown into the series, sometimes not. In general, I like this type of series about investigations and cops, not in a gloomy style, which is probably why I watch it, but in my opinion there is a better one.
