The series "Paradise" will end after the third season - this information was revealed by the screenwriter and executive producer of the project, John Hoberg, in an interview with THR.
He stressed that the team had already developed a decent ending that would logically complete the storyline.
The second season started on February 23, and the final, eighth episode will be released on March 30.
For the first 8 minutes, I thought I had downloaded the wrong episode and the wrong TV series, because it seemed like those first 8 minutes were like a completely new, different series
One of the interesting projects of last year, it's cool that there was a sequel. In the first season, I liked that there was a detective component, which distinguished the series from many post-apocalyptic shows. If this season is banal about survival, it will be a bit disappointing, because there are already a lot of such films and TV series, and not all of them shine with originality. In any case, I'll watch it at least for the sake of Sterling Brown.
Well, it's nice that a group of random survivalists who stumbled upon a lonely woman turned out to be normal people for once. It's so fresh. But this general inability of people not to fuck in a post-apocalypse environment, when absolutely any health problem will mean death for you and/or the baby (which is not visible around baby food stocks, for example), freezes me out. It's clear to men that it doesn't give a fuck, but a woman, and even a doctor, knows perfectly well what this is fraught with. I just don't believe that a smart person is that dumb.
@arinka_Lo: So, under the influence of feelings, she agreed to travel with the group, and on the road you can find everything you need to survive. And in the morning, I changed my mind "when I was sober," but as they say, photosynthesis can no longer be rolled back.
@Paramelion: They're both not 15 years old, so hormones can knock their brains out. In their current world, there is no way to find remedies on the road that will help with eclampsia, or obstetric bleeding, or the inability to give birth naturally, or ruptures, or sepsis, or a dozen other jokes. And this only concerns the mother, we don't even go over to the child. Why risk pregnancy from a dude you've known for three days in the world of the coming apocalypse? There are other ways to please each other besides penetrative sex.
Hollywood is now making films / TV series where the consequences of the nuclear apocalypse disappear in at least 3-5 years. A couple of years of fire and nuclear winter, and then everything is back to normal). Previously, in such stories, life outside was hell.
@Grevon: it's basically the same thing. I edited the text about explosions, meteorites, etc., some of it fell out). Absolutely comparable effects, except for the absence of gamma radiation. Which, by the way, they are already trying to minimize in modern nuclear weapons. I remembered the same movie "Greenland"). For some reason, 15 years have passed in the Russian voiceover, but 5 years have passed in the original. And I won't spoil it, but the ending is completely unrealistic.
@Hidji: why would it actually be the same thing? In the 19th century, the same thing happened. Although the scale of the tragedy was probably greater in the series.
@shubkin: It didn't happen. Are you talking about Sumatra? It's not even close to what's on the show. Moreover, according to the plot of the first season, there were also exchanges of nuclear strikes due to panic/chaos.
I like Paradise because it has these mini-stories. What's in the first season, what's in the second. Firstly, they smoothly immerse you in the narrative, and secondly, they reveal the ENT itself better. I would even watch a whole season about their road movie, rather than with the old characters.
My inner question about contraception in the age of the apocalypse was answered at the end of the episode. It's kind of irresponsible for a former medical student.
@RiaNeimless: I was shocked at all - they are dirty, smelly, who knows who is sick in such an unsanitary environment, and these are happily running around.
Hooray, the new season is finally out! This series is simply gorgeous, there's no other way to say it. I watched the first one only a month ago, and they confused me a little with the description, disguising it as an ordinary political thriller 😆 And immediately, new characters appeared in the form of Annie and Gail, who unfortunately predictably left during the course of the plot. And the survivors showed up, thanks for not being looters or any other villains)
Hiding in the house of Elvis Presley himself is very powerful. 🤣 After all, it was impossible to choose any other, but it is necessary to choose this one)) how can you not advertise a superstar once again, even from the last century? But how did Annie manage to stay there for so long? Where did such stocks of food, medicines and other things come from? If there was also such a frost... Isn't the real danger of freezing stronger than the purely potential danger that someone will find some kind of smoke? There hasn't been a single living soul in the area all this time, based on what we've been shown.
And by the way, there's something wrong with math here in the series. 689 days, plus a week with these survivors, is not three years, but even less than two have passed. 😂 Then, if you only add a maximum of 9 months to pregnancy, and maybe less, who knows. Well, how did the ashes finally manage to disperse and something like spring came, and what about the radiation (like bombs were detonated in the first season?). But the fact that she also managed to get knocked up by Link right away is just a fierce thrash))) We just met, and everything is within the same house and the same episode, I'm freaking out, damn it...
Well, in the end, Xavier still flew in his plane, or rather crashed, as I expected. I think he and Annie will have an interesting duet, and apparently he will have to deliver her in these crazy conditions. And then it would be good for them to find the group that went to look for that bunker. Although with a newborn baby, I don't know what could come of all this...
How can you be so stupid? What were they thinking at all? How was she going to give birth in this shit? It's just a hand-face. What was that? It's scary, very scary. This sirik is clearly not about people with a healthy head.
And I didn't even get it - did Xavier fly for a year? It seems like a year has passed in the bunker, well, obviously not 2. Was he flying on the power of love? Or was I watching with my ass? 😄
And a divergent woman with a potbelly galloping on a horse-I'm just giving a standing ovation. How did she get on it at all? This is not post - apocalyptic or science fiction - this is real fantasy .
I've been thinking about her clean hair the whole episode, just how? But thanks for the unshaven armpits! This is progress in the world of movies about the apocalypse))
@E770: combed, clean, plump cheeks remained, did not lose weight at all, probably also smelled of violets there when they met her) how much food they managed to stock up and candles from where so many
Well , the series reminded me of two men who beat other men in "one of us" , although it's probably not a filler here, I hope we'll see this group again.
When Annie's youth was shown, I thought, "Damn, the actress looks so much like Shailene Woodley!" And then they show her grown up, played by Shailene Woodley! :D :D I was really looking forward to the sequel, the series is cool, we already know about the bunker from last season, now it's interesting to see how the "outside" survived there.
Damn, I liked the series so much, it's well-structured, purely last of az in a different format. And then there was a lot of hype in the comments about the spec
they touched each other so touchingly that I don't know what prejudices could be thought of at the moment when two wounded lonely souls met and felt. She was alone long before the apocalypse... I cried with them. I hope they will meet again. I missed both Thomas and Shailene, the guys have great chemistry)
The perfect return of the project) I was so hooked by the series, of course, I'm surprised that in 2+ years these are the first visitors.
Their intimacy scene was very tender, and to be honest, if I'd been alone for 2 years, I probably wouldn't have given a damn about hygiene and caution either.
Cool, let's look further. And our gg seems to have forgotten how to fly, or maybe he was shot down?
This is the strangest group of ever invaders since all the apocalypses. With such skills at snatching logs at the back of their heads, how did they even survive these two years?

Did it seem to me from the trailer of season 2 in this episode that it seems the same, or is it the main character of the Detergent films!?
