There were absolutely no expectations from this sequel, but I really enjoyed the series. I hope they won't be stretched over many seasons, as with MS. All the actresses are very good. We are waiting for the second season!
It was so poignant, so strong and so good that the "Testaments" now have a place in my heart forever! ♥️ June, like us, has a hope that these girls will really be able to make a difference! And they really are all so strong! Strong heroines and they are played by strong young actresses. In general, there are high hopes for the second season! 🤞🏻
I must say that Episode 9 was more intense than the finale, but the seed is the seed. Of course, after MS, Lydia's rebranding is hard to believe, I don't understand what's wrong with Daisy's punishment and my mother's praise in front of Agnes, too, scares me more, I don't understand how Lydia will be blocked again. I also didn't get enough response from Agnes when I heard about my mother, but I remind myself that she was taught to be quiet and submissive. I didn't realize this was how Becky's situation would unfold, but hanging her mother seems organic to Gilead: to save a young girl instead of an infertile woman without a husband.
And I want to set aside a place for sweet dreams here. Did you imagine Garth and Agnes kissing when she came to him to ask him not to give up Becky? I was crazy about this idea, although I understand that it would spoil all the consequences for us, but the very idea makes me wonder why I've never read fanfiction)))
Happy end of the season to all! It came out great, as far as I'm concerned!
Hannah's revelation to Weston about what happened was a brave act that could have ended very badly for her.
I really like the way the actors of Hannah and Weston interacted on the screen. Hannah is naturally uncomfortable and feels something is wrong with the fact that this much older man is the one she will soon marry. Meanwhile, Weston doesn't show at all that marrying a 15-16 year old girl is wrong or disgusting. At the same time, he does not broadcast, oddly enough, that he is aroused by the fact that his future wife is so young and will soon be under his complete control.
It was very hard to look at Becca like that. Thank God Garth didn't touch her after the wedding, although when he started lifting the hem of her dress, I was a little worried, but apparently it was an instinctive reaction. I certainly don't think Garth can sexually harm her, unless the show puts them in a situation similar to the one June was facing. At the same time, I wouldn't be surprised if he sacrificed her in the future.
@Ellean: Whether this is a bad thing is a big question. And it could have ended in even worse things - public disgrace and a complete loss of chances of marriage in the future.
The fucking execution scene of Becky's mother reminded me of the first seasons of the Handmaid's Tale. But if there was no gap ahead, then now there is hope that Gilead will come to an end. Hanna shouldn't have told Lydia that she knew who her mother was, but we'll see what the scriptwriters come up with, I hope that a whole new resistance cell will appear among the girls. But Daisy didn't write in June's note that Hannah now knows who her mother is.
Wow, I thought the mystery of Agnes' origin would hang for another season, but then Daisy took it and easily told about it in 5 minutes, ahahah , she would also write to June that now her daughter knows the truth , it seems that Agnes was given strength by this revelation, so she also went and told Lydia about it 💅🏻 That's it, Agnes is dead, Hannah is here.
I would not have thought that the Commander would terminate the engagement so abruptly when he brought Becca to her mother, it seemed that this was again a 'kind' gesture for Agnes
the way A. turns out to love his girlfriend - wow, sacrificing his first crush, Garth, was strong , but he was also good, he didn't have to marry Becca, considering that he had other priorities in general, but what kind of relationship did he have with Agnes Slowburn, aah, so I was waiting for at least a little kiss , but even that scene where he comforted her in his arms when her Aunt came up and said that he would not let her go, because she needed support💔 Garth, what are you doing?
the season wasn't as intense as it seemed, some episodes were just tiny , or so it seemed after the cruelty of 'RS', I hope that the second season will raise the bar, because it's interesting to watch in general , besides, we've already met all the characters and since now some of the girls are for one, then we'll see more movement really It's not people from outside who can destroy it all, but only those who stand in the foundation of Gilead - just the girls
@MargoRose: And it immediately seemed to me that the commander would break off the engagement. It was clear from his sudden change of mood that Agnes was now "dirty" to him
@an_khv: I thought it wouldn't stop him, that he would then just gaslit her for it or aggress her directly , I kept waiting for him to reveal it in this way, given his dossier.
@an_khv: I think it's both "dirty" and the fact that he will be more involved in the scandal, since he decided to help Becca precisely because of the bride. He also asked if Agnes' parents knew if they had hidden the information from him. if it were revealed that he intentionally covers up and helps a woman who killed a man because his wife is one of the rapist's victims (that is, for the sake of another "defective" one), he himself would not be understood or condemned.
I think Daisy did well. Although there was a lot of pathos😁 But she's very brave, really. And I found a way to do something: change the girls' mindset from the inside out.
Oh, I'm impressed. A strong episode, a strong season finale. Such tragic events, but tied to the belief that everything will be fine. I fell in love with the main characters. I am very glad that everything is not the same in the end as in the book. It's even more interesting this way. To be honest, the book was interesting to read right up to its 2/3. I read the end through, just to find out how it would end. I'm looking forward to the new season. That's what we love. We're going to watch this
@vbkb: The funny thing is, Becca knows perfectly well that she's not going anywhere, but what can you do if you fall in love. I think Agnes just let her kiss her, knowing that she had feelings for her (cruelly, of course), but she allowed her to get at least for a second what Becca dreams of.
@vbkb: Well, if it's not customary in Gilead, then, of course, it's not appropriate to show this on our screen. However, we are not in Gilead, thank the goddess. Recover.
@Adrasteya: By the way, I didn't really like this change either.
In the beginning, it seemed that homosexuality was an interesting motivation for one of the gg's to be strongly opposed to marriage, but the topic was not disclosed in any way! Girls grow up in the Gilead system, where so-called "gender traitors" are publicly condemned, executed, or sent to penal colonies. How would Agnes know, for example, that her closest friend is one of those whom she should hate and abhor?
In the series, Agnes doesn't really react to Becky's kiss. Like OK, that's it. But if Agnes had found out about her friend's orientation earlier, turned away from her in the beginning, then reflected on it somehow, doubted Gilead's regime, and still eventually sided with Becky (maybe even at the last moment, as in the series), it would have been much more interesting. This revealed more about Agnes as a character, and their friendship.
@Adrasteya: It wasn't appropriate in the universe of the series. We are not in the Gilead, and LGBT propaganda is prohibited here. Judging by the developing events in the country, we are going exactly to Gilead.
@KateMilk: it seemed to me that through Becky's line, the audience wanted to show that homosexuality is not a fashion or a fad, as many believe. That a person is just born that way. There is Gilead, where gender-based traitors are censured, hanged, sent to maidservants or colonies where girls grow up in isolation.: They can't read, they don't watch movies or TV, they don't surf the Internet, they don't travel. They get all the knowledge about life from their aunts at school and at home from their parents (sometimes from Martha). Most likely, they don't even know about any "gender betrayal", everyone has already been hanged in their infancy, the rest are hiding. And, it would seem, how does Becca know that it is possible to love a girl at all: she has been taught since childhood that she should marry a man and have children. And she fell in love, no matter what, and isn't that proof that same-sex relationships are the nature of healthy people? At least, that's how I saw this scenario turn. If you don't suppress nature, it takes its toll, even in Gilead.
@KateMilk: we do not yet know where and how this line will develop. Becca was given a strong motivation to kill. Maybe she wouldn't have slaughtered her father for her friend. But for the beloved, yes. Well, it works for the drama of the Agnes-Garth-Becca triangle. And besides, why does homosexuality have to be somehow justified by the plot? Why can't she just be, because she just exists in the real world?
@Adrasteya: my comments have nothing to do with it, just an observation. It's the fault of the writers who come up with it and those who think, why not turn the idea into reality.
@Adrasteya: I'm still confused about the motives for the murder. that phrase of Becky's about how he can no longer touch Agnes, and already in this episode the clarification about the motivated killer ... as they say, read between the lines that Becky herself was a victim at his hands.
@abaisse: this is pure speculation. Yes, such an idea is creeping in, but they don't give us any specific hints. But Becca speaks directly about Agnes' defense.
@GermanSW: in the very first episode. When June was brought to the Red Center, she started snapping, and one of the aunts slapped her in the face. That aunt was Atwood)
In this episode, we were given a ride by a freight car of glass - the unexpected decision with the confession of Becky's mother and the subsequent execution, the consummated marriage of Garth and a besotted Becky, Becky's kiss with Agnes, the moment when June finds out that her daughter is just a handshake away and decides to give Daisy a chance, the toughest scene from the reception a mother scrubbing off blood in the bathroom - "They wanted to send you to her piece by piece, but your father prevented it!", Daisy's hopeful letter to June - but in doing so, he becomes a worthy end to the season.
In general, the whole narrative leaves the impression of a well-learned, measured, neat dance - from important episodes to attention to the routine moments and rituals for the life of girls and Gilead society. This makes the series a very comfortable viewing experience.
The season flew by unnoticed, and I want to watch more and more, to swallow at least a couple more seasons at a time. I would like to see the fate of Becky, their love triangle, the strengthening of the girls' friendship, the further radicalization of Agnes (I would even like to slow down Daisy's radicalization a little - she talks to Aunt Lydia, as if they are already in cahoots to overthrow Gilead's regime). Praise be His mercy, which was updated for the second season a week ago.
There seemed to be a small message that the heroes on both sides needed to learn to rely on others- June on Daisy, Lydia on Vidala; but who doesn't need this lesson is our girls, who can give any aunts a head start. Nothing in this world is more powerful, than a teenage girl.
@Lissella_: and no one was going to take her out, even June herself didn't want to anymore. I remember that she had this opportunity back in MS, but Hannah no longer remembered her, and then she decided that leaving her in a relatively good family was the best choice. That's how I remembered it, at least.
@chestersmoke: No, it's not like that. June broke into Mackenzie's house, and Tabitha told her that Agnes was asleep. They say she had nightmares for a week after the last meeting, think about the child, do you really want to be shot in front of her (the guards have already rushed in). Tabitha stopped the guards, talked to June for a while, and told them about Hannah: that she was happy to ask for a puppy, and the commander was still against it, but she would definitely persuade him. After that, June was taken away, and Tabitha, through her husband, helped ensure that she was not executed.
@Lissella_: Remembering Hannah's brainwashed childhood when she met June in "The Handmaid's Tale" + a few more years of propaganda, even though Agnes is starting to think with her own head a little, I think if she had been taken out against her will, she would not have accepted and tried to find ways to return
@Lissella_: on the one hand, yes, there would not have been a series without it, but on the other hand, Agnes is a very important child for Gilead. The daughter of the maid. Gilead is hunting for children stolen from a flight, even killing foster parents. What can we say about the girl who started all this fuss? No one would give her up so easily. All of June's friends and family would have been killed, and Hannah herself wouldn't have had a normal life.
@Lissella_: They tried, but the Mackenzies moved out after June's last visit, and Mayday couldn't find them. When June was already in Canada, they sort of found the school where Hannah studied and sent planes to Tula with a rescue mission. But the tip turned out to be a trap, and all the pilots died. That is, June allegedly can't find Hannah's location. In principle, the version is plausible - the country is big, there is no Internet and social networks, there are few agents. Commander Lawrence and Nick were there, but now all connections of that level have been lost.
@Svetvokne: Agnes (Hannah) 's parents are June and Luke, Luke is African American (in the main series). Her current parents (Mackenzie) are not her parents, she has been raised by them since she was about 4 years old, when she was taken away from June.
Oh, well, "delicious"! At the moment of the wedding, I even got goosebumps from the realization that Becca had lost both her father and mother in such a short time in such cruel ways, and had also been sent to marry someone she didn't love. Although, to be honest, I was surprised that the hanging was not publicly on the wall, but indoors.
June and Daisy 🔥🔥🔥 It was such an emotional moment!
I really enjoyed the spin-off, there really is a small spark of hope that Gilead will fall! (if you haven't read the book, I don't know what it will actually be like)
The ending is not bad, but in the end they simplified everything completely and brought it to easy mode. And Agnes easily accepts Becky's kiss, and she avoids execution by a miracle (she also marries a nice guy, consider it like Christ in her bosom!), and Daisy rides back and forth to Canada and back for a conversation with June, and she gets off with a slight reprimand for smoking, and Aunt Lydia makes explicit hints on the light June accepts, and the commander rescues Becca for Agnes, and the teenage girls overthrow exactly the regime that the entire adult resistance failed to overthrow. Well, it's a Gilead-style happy ending, no less. And girl power, of course. It was so ostentatious, and at the end, the three of them walked around to epic music, as if it were some kind of Marvel series. And no matter how good it is, Disney is still behind the show, predictably, it's not worth waiting for tin and oppressive realism like in the first seasons of The Handmaid. And the narrative is from the perspective of privileged teenage girls, not maids. But it's like the last episode was filmed and written by completely different people who had nothing to do with the first episodes. Where is the suspense and tension from the actions of the commander and the aunts, where is the fear for the lives of the heroines from every touch, from every incorrectly spoken word that was at the beginning? Why are Agnes and Daisy suddenly being rude and demanding something from their aunts, and they not only accept it, but also justify themselves to them if girls are not allowed to be friends at all? Why does Lydia react so easily to Agnes knowing whose daughter she is? Why, apart from the termination of the engagement, there were no consequences for Agnes from confessing to rape? I really hope that these questions will be answered next season. In the meantime, we started for health, but ended somehow weakly. Everyone is happy, everyone is saved, everyone managed to get out. Well, it's not some kind of cruel totalitarian sect the size of an entire state, where women's fingers are cut off for reading and their eyes are taken away for bickering, but just a conservative Christian camp with strict rules.
@killpolyteria: About the aunts: maybe what happened to Becca had a big impact on them too. They missed the violence and because of their inaction, the girl lost both parents and will have to live with the fact that she killed her father. Therefore, they can perceive the claims of Daisy and the others as fair. About the lack of consequences for Agnes: her father is not the last person in this party and will break up for his daughter. What's the point of getting involved?
@Adrasteya: Good arguments! I just didn't have enough confirmation of that in the series. All 9 episodes tried to keep more or less the "Handmaid's Tale" level, and in the last episode, everyone suddenly became so sympathetic, everything plays into the hands of the main characters. It would seem that the commander decided not to contact Agnes because her father would break up for her. I agree. But why would he help Becca, why would there be such sympathy from a man who beat women before Gilead? And then, judging by the bold hints, could he have killed his own wife? Because God is out of the car, it was necessary to make a sad girl power scene where Becky's aunts and mother hold hands, because the power of women and the power of love (rainbow, pony, sparkle!). Although without this terribly pretentious scene, the mother's decision to sacrifice herself would have looked much stronger. And the message about the power of maternal love would not have gone away. And Agnes's help from the commander would not have looked so strange and foreign. As for the aunts, it's probably true that they love girls in their own way and sympathize with them. And they feel responsible for them, judging by Aunt Esty. But it was possible to show it without scenes where Agnes and Daisy are shaking their rights, as if Daisy hadn't been subjected to terrible verbal abuse just for swearing before. Otherwise, all the girls' phrases are that there is no place for friendship in Gilead, and everyone is watching you, as if they don't really work anymore. So everything went smoothly and according to the notes right up to the last episode. I don't know, maybe the showrunners muddied such a hasty and uneven ending, not being sure that the series would be renewed? But it all looked very improbable and as if simplified, accelerated.
@killpolyteria: in general, I agree. About the commander, I was very surprised. This behavior is logical only in a situation where he is not such an asshole, as we were hinted at. But there were no special prerequisites for this, except that he behaved with Agnes like a human being all the way. I also agree about touching the rights. As for friendship, I thought that yes, they think that way because they are taught that way. But in fact, they are friends and help each other, no matter how Gilead tries to separate them.
@Adrasteya: He really wanted to make a good impression on Agnes. He stressed several times that he was helping her and not Becca. But then I thought about it and decided not to contact her. You never know what.
@Adrasteya: Well, as it is, it does not affect. I don't want to be rude, but it's one thing to spread my legs out of necessity. And quite another thing, out of gratitude to his generosity.
@Adrasteya: It's you who are commenting on something of your own. Even in the main series, which was much tougher. Waterford also tried to impress June by taking her to the Ezekiel in a beautiful dress. And he pretended to be a gentleman. Until she told him to fuck off in the open. These are the basic settings.
@GermanSW: I'm commenting on a series about how men legalized rape and pedophilia, creating an entire state for this cause. And you say it's important for them to be gentlemen and get consent. The ones who invented maids and married teenagers.
Hooray, as I wrote in the previous episode, I was waiting for Agnes to be told about her real mother!) I hope next season will see a good start🌚
The execution scene of Becky's mom gave me goosebumps🥺
Becky and Agnes kiss - gives food for thought🧐 I think Garth will persuade Becca to resist, and Becca and Daisy will act on Agnes and the mini-squad will expand to Shu and possibly to new characters)
God forbid Lydia should not deviate from her intended path, although this is a mystery..
In general, the further interaction of the characters is interesting, I just hope that they will eventually get out of there and no one will die, which is doubtful, we are waiting for season 2!)
It's been a long time since I've been so excited about anything, I've been looking forward to every episode, although I can't say that they were so eventful. On the other hand, there is slow smoldering, not endless fires, as in the RS. I really liked the girls, each in her own way, but She was just captivated) it's good to have a friend who is not afraid to ask to open a second cash register What seemed strange was that June didn't know where Hannah was./Agnes. So her driver is from Mayday, Daisy was assigned to her (although this is more of a coincidence), and June is not in the course? Although if Garth didn't know who June was, it might not be surprising. And by the gods, Garth 🫠
So many women cried because of one walleye dentist. The plums who didn't stand up to him, Becca who killed him, her poor mother who surrendered to the eyes and was hanged, Agnes with a broken engagement😢
I hope Garth will be kind to his new wife, because she was like a rag doll at the wedding.
And I hope these girls will set the heat next season, I'll be waiting. 🔥
@JardimFramboesa: It's all clear that we benefit from this, but for a Gilead woman, my aunt said, there has never been an engagement that was broken off.
The script for this season was written too much in the tradition of Young Adult novels, but in principle there is something to see and all the girls performed well this season! So we are waiting for the next one)
For me, this is the best series of this year so far. 🔥
I really looked forward to every episode, I didn't want every episode to end. How sweet Garth was for supporting Agnes, and how hard it was for her to ask him to marry Becca instead of her, since her engagement was off. 🥺
I am glad that Agnes now knows that she is Hannah, and whose daughter she is, and this moment with the drawing and the caption.. I wonder if her memories of how they escaped and how her father and mother were captured have been completely erased. She wasn't exactly a baby anymore.
As it was written above, so many women suffered because of one walleye dentist. It's also terrible that Becky's mother got hurt for nothing at all.
I really want to wait less than two years for the new season (That's how the season used to be released every year, huh? :(
Well, we've already completely moved away from the book.… I liked everything except that the episodes are short and there is a certain feeling that very few events have happened. Something was missing.…
Meanwhile, we were informed that a total of three seasons are planned. The second one has already been officially approved, and its development will begin in the fall.
There's a beautiful scene at the end where Garth puts Beca on the bed, takes off her shoes and leaves. It's probably a good thing that he decided to lock her up, because in this state she can induce both herself and others when the sedatives stop working.…
When I found out about the release of the series, I didn't want to watch it. By the end, RS became uninteresting, sophisticated. But I decided to give it a chance and watched the first episode first, then the second and reached 10. And each time I was very curious about what would happen next, when the series would be released. I liked the actors, the plot, the music. Daisy was like June 2 from the very beginning, the same strong-willed, stubborn, but the story is different- June was a mother and a maid, and here is a teenager. The creators managed to catch on, even though there was no hope. Definitely, I'm going to watch the second season, I'm waiting.
It is a pity that there is 0 information about Shun and 0 lines with it. But still, I hope that Garth and Hannah will be together. There were high expectations from the final episode, and it seemed like a lot of things were revealed, but it didn't seem to be. In short, as I understand it, the second season will be about how Becca, Hannah, Shun and Daisy will fight Gilead, I hope the scriptwriters will come up with something interesting so that it doesn't turn out like in PC, like, divided love, they are pinched in the corners and that's it. I'm still very glad that Elisabeth Moss is participating here, because there was talk that she wouldn't be there at all.
The series is full of bullshit. The girls run where they want and when they want, Daisy was gone all night, and no one cares. A leaky border. Smoking keepers. Mayday's involvement is zero. There is no sense of oppressive tyranny, as it was in the RS. It's a pity that the commander refused to marry Agnes, I even began to like him.
I'm reading about the kiss of Becky and Agnes and I realize that apparently in the version where I watched, it was cut out (( tell me the approximate time code, please
@BadgerSister: it seems like 45 minutes approximately, where Agnes comes to Becca before the wedding. I also watched at first with a cut-out scene, and this sharp jump made me look for a different voice acting)
A very worthy continuation of the Handmaid's Tale, coming of age version! Chase Infinity clearly has a great future ahead of her, Mattea Conforti, who played Becca, also noted for herself, her game is just in the heart, this kiss was one of the most beautiful that I have seen in the movies 🙈
Lydia's words are already worthless. She's going to be deposed any day now.
Garth almost made a gallows for himself by hugging Agnes in front of everyone. At the moment, I was afraid for him.
I loved how the girls came together all of a sudden. They're like the fantastic four. I'm really proud of them.
I don't believe Agnes' fiance broke off the engagement. She's going to get some kind of monster anyway.
What a wild situation with Becky's mother. The aunts' help in this case is highly questionable. I feel so sorry for her, but she's willing to do it. It was a difficult moment.
It was nice to watch Paula suffer. Although she won't give her a living now.
I think Daisy shouldn't have told Agnes about June. Maybe it will turn out like in the situation with Becca, when she came to her in the middle of the night. I don't quite understand her attitude to what is happening yet.
Maybe I'm thinking it over, but perhaps Agnes so boldly stated that she knew about her birth, veilingly hinting that this could be the reason for the breakup of the engagement, since the conversation was generally about the fact that they had the first precedent of this with the return of the "bride" and in the future would not just be her attach
Who knows from the books, Agnes/Hannah will be with Garth? How will their relationship develop further? Or is he going to stay with Becca? I understand that deeper and more complex topics are being raised there, but I can't help myself. This slowburn captivated me.
@malhsanhoz: according to the book, Becca did not marry at all and became an aunt, and Garth is a resident of Texas who helped Daisy get to Gilead, moved to Canada and helped "mayday" from there. The fact that he's the keeper here is already the director's fault. Since aunts are unmarried girls, even if something happens to Garth, Becca won't become an aunt anymore. Therefore, it is very difficult to predict what will happen to them next)
Agnes has tarnished herself because of the broken engagement. She will be made a maid and given to Garth and Becky's house - everyone is happy 😅😂 (if the alternative is to marry an elderly commander from the colonies) (and I'm not being vulgar - Garth won't touch them (Becca against her will, and Agnes because June will kill him))
Very very VERY good music and visual design. By the end of the season, I began to catch myself thinking that the series was better than its older sister.
I didn't think at all that the sequel to the series, which was stretched out as much as possible, would be so successful. And the costumes and the actors and the characters, everything is fine, yes, in some places it is clear that they saved the budget, but the quality does not suffer a bit from this.
There are so many interesting ideas for the second season, and what a cool trio remained in the walls of the school...I really want the series to keep up the bar, especially considering that they definitely got into the audience.
Why did I spend a lot of time on this, I don't know what? If you're not a fan of this topic (which one?), then don't repeat my mistakes and don't waste your time.

118June, like us, has a hope that these girls will really be able to make a difference! And they really are all so strong! Strong heroines and they are played by strong young actresses.
In general, there are high hopes for the second season! 🤞🏻
—May God protect you.
—I think She will.
Nothing is more powerful than a teenage girl ✨
, she would also write to June that now her daughter knows the truth
, it seems that Agnes was given strength by this revelation, so she also went and told Lydia about it 💅🏻 That's it, Agnes is dead, Hannah is here.
I would not have thought that the Commander would terminate the engagement so abruptly

, but even that scene where he comforted her in his arms when her Aunt came up and said that he would not let her go, because she needed support💔
Garth, what are you doing?
the season wasn't as intense as it seemed, some episodes were just tiny
, or so it seemed after the cruelty of 'RS', I hope that the second season will raise the bar, because it's interesting to watch in general
, besides, we've already met all the characters
and since now some of the girls are for one, then we'll see more movement
really It's not people from outside who can destroy it all, but only those who stand in the foundation of Gilead - just the girls
, I kept waiting for him to reveal it in this way, given his dossier.
if it were revealed that he intentionally covers up and helps a woman who killed a man because his wife is one of the rapist's victims (that is, for the sake of another "defective" one), he himself would not be understood or condemned.

Judging by the developing events in the country, we are going exactly to Gilead.
It's the fault of the writers who come up with it and those who think, why not turn the idea into reality.
She brought Aunt Lydia to Becca's cell.
I don't remember which one, specifically.
Under His eye.
Nothing in this world is more powerful, than a teenage girl.
in this episode seemed like they even wanted to make everything too easy with Daisy.
After that, June was taken away, and Tabitha, through her husband, helped ensure that she was not executed.
That is, June allegedly can't find Hannah's location. In principle, the version is plausible - the country is big, there is no Internet and social networks, there are few agents. Commander Lawrence and Nick were there, but now all connections of that level have been lost.
June and Daisy 🔥🔥🔥 It was such an emotional moment!
I really enjoyed the spin-off, there really is a small spark of hope that Gilead will fall! (if you haven't read the book, I don't know what it will actually be like)
And no matter how good it is, Disney is still behind the show, predictably, it's not worth waiting for tin and oppressive realism like in the first seasons of The Handmaid.
He really wanted to make a good impression on Agnes.
He stressed several times that he was helping her and not Becca.
But then I thought about it and decided not to contact her.
You never know what.
I don't want to be rude, but it's one thing to spread my legs out of necessity.
And quite another thing, out of gratitude to his generosity.
Even in the main series, which was much tougher.
Waterford also tried to impress June by taking her to the Ezekiel in a beautiful dress.
And he pretended to be a gentleman.
Until she told him to fuck off in the open.
These are the basic settings.
I didn't write a word about "getting consent".
In this episode, when she took the cup, I took a closer look))
I hope next season will see a good start🌚
The execution scene of Becky's mom gave me goosebumps🥺
Becky and Agnes kiss - gives food for thought🧐 I think Garth will persuade Becca to resist, and Becca and Daisy will act on Agnes and the mini-squad will expand to Shu and possibly to new characters)
God forbid Lydia should not deviate from her intended path, although this is a mystery..
In general, the further interaction of the characters is interesting, I just hope that they will eventually get out of there and no one will die, which is doubtful, we are waiting for season 2!)
I really liked the girls, each in her own way, but She was just captivated) it's good to have a friend who is not afraid to ask to open a second cash register
What seemed strange was that June didn't know where Hannah was./Agnes. So her driver is from Mayday, Daisy was assigned to her (although this is more of a coincidence), and June is not in the course? Although if Garth didn't know who June was, it might not be surprising.
And by the gods, Garth 🫠
The plums who didn't stand up to him, Becca who killed him, her poor mother who surrendered to the eyes and was hanged, Agnes with a broken engagement😢
I hope Garth will be kind to his new wife, because she was like a rag doll at the wedding.
And I hope these girls will set the heat next season, I'll be waiting. 🔥
@Wind_of_change: They had one... a kiss... Ah [rolls his eyes in exultation]
, had our new commander everywhere. 🤭
I liked everything except that the episodes are short and there is a certain feeling that very few events have happened.
Daisy was like June 2 from the very beginning, the same strong-willed, stubborn, but the story is different- June was a mother and a maid, and here is a teenager.
The creators managed to catch on, even though there was no hope. Definitely, I'm going to watch the second season, I'm waiting.
It's a pity that the commander refused to marry Agnes, I even began to like him.
I understand that deeper and more complex topics are being raised there, but I can't help myself. This slowburn captivated me.
Since aunts are unmarried girls, even if something happens to Garth, Becca won't become an aunt anymore. Therefore, it is very difficult to predict what will happen to them next)
(if the alternative is to marry an elderly commander from the colonies)
(and I'm not being vulgar - Garth won't touch them (Becca against her will, and Agnes because June will kill him))
There are so many interesting ideas for the second season, and what a cool trio remained in the walls of the school...I really want the series to keep up the bar, especially considering that they definitely got into the audience.
