s01e03 — Double Cross

I think there will be a lot of people who are happy with the series. Those who love Marvel will be pleased. Those who love noir will be pleased. Those who are tired of superheroics will be pleased.

And definitely look exclusively at CB. The magic is lost in color.

Riley's just great, he set it up so that Silverman won't guess.. Just great!! I recognized Moody.. I'm afraid Flynn was killed..

According to the trailer, it seemed that this was another story of a hero who had completely sunk to the bottom...and here it's much more interesting, I like Ben's resourcefulness, how he quickly navigates the situation and comes up with fake personalities. A very charming character. So far, to be honest, I like almost everything. It's clear that you can't cram spider movies into an action series, but I don't really need that. The CB version perfectly masks not the highest-quality graphon for stylistics and looks rather interesting. Brendan Glisson is also a charming devil as always.
I still don't fully understand how this series happened in the first place. While Sony is guarding its rights to the spider and not even allowing it to show its nose in Daredevil (a crossover that fans are incredibly waiting for) and leaving it to marinate half apart from Marvel, Nicholas his mother Cage suddenly pulls out with an alternative spider in the format of the series from nowhere.

It's clear with the bills that it led to something like this, but suddenly Ben Reilly turned around with Silverman's right hand, for the sake of saving the singer.
I like everything very much, I look in black. And the spider's phrases are funny, and the plot is interesting to watch, and all this comic in every frame and accents on subjects of interest, and Nicolas Cage with his strangled, slightly nasal voice, and New York... And among other things, what a gorgeous screensaver the series has, the motion designer kissed his hands.

I like that it's not just a transfer of the dark and cold atmosphere of those times. But also the lack of "naivety" that is present in everything else about the spider. It's a very good attempt to create something different.

Perhaps it's even better than Penguin, there's something too farfetched there, as in Gangsterland, as if the characters are caricatured with illogical decisions, although everything has serious consequences.

The plot is getting better and better, there were some really good moves in this episode.
I'll say a little bit about b/w. I've been watching it since the first episode, I haven't even tried it in color. Everything is cool, the atmosphere, etc., but in this episode, my eyes were almost burned out in the daytime scenes, there were most of them and I couldn't see everything quickly in the frame, the eye was trying to catch on to something, but everything merges. And as for the scene where the spider steals a thousand bucks, I immediately got aesthetic pleasure, everything is there at night and only the key elements for the scene are highlighted.

I watched two episodes in black and white, and then I decided to take a look at how terrible the color version is. And I immediately realized that I shouldn't have started with her at all. The color version looks much better. I had no idea at all that Janet, for example, had a red suit lol

I don't like it when they show a mafia boss, a hardened type who is so easy to breed. And most importantly, she makes quick decisions when she pleases, except when it comes to GG.

The atmosphere of the series and the 30s is just chic, and the final scene makes you worry who got shot🥲
The actor who plays Silvermane is just amazing, I really like him, he got used to the role of a cold-blooded mobster, well, Nicolas Cage is a first-class detective, and then apparently spider-man 😎
I really like the series, as long as the final episode doesn't go anywhere, as many people usually like to do.🫤

I really like everything! Especially in the voiceover of RHS, where NK is voiced by Alexander Rakhlenko (his "native" voice)

It's strange, after the usual spider-hero, to see how the spider noir whiskey often sips....
