The Germans did not set up sentries on the enemy's side, and when they were attacked, they began to run out from behind the hill (!) down right under the bullets. He sat with his hand in front of his face the whole scene.
Otherwise, it's decent.

@MrNuclear: I agree, this particular moment looked stupid, the Germans just ran out from the other side of the hill, where they couldn't even be seen, and ran across the open area under bullets. Otherwise, the series is gorgeous.

I personally liked the series, but it wasn't very stupid when the Germans ran right into the bullets.

Yes, you can write a million more times that the Germans are stupid, they ran right into bullets, but you have to understand that life, and even more so the war, is not so simple, people are also afraid, confused and do rash things that can cost them their lives.
