So Heather's whole motivation is that she was almost killed by the "masked avenger"? What the fuck? And the fact that it was a murderer, not an avenger, apparently did not occur to her..like the fact that "the masked avenger" saved her, for God's sake, we've fucked up Netflix, is anyone even interested in these minor lines? Nothing has changed since the first season.
@HikaruHimeno: I didn't understand at all why the fact that Heather personally encountered the "masked avenger" is cited as a plus, and not as something that affects her objectivity.
Unsurprisingly, the second and third series were released at the same time. The plot is stomping on the spot, which is an unacceptable luxury with the 8-episode format of the season. If it was still possible to turn a blind eye to this in the debut episode, then in the next two such a drag is already too much. A lot of time is devoted to the lines of minor characters, but even they are kind of abrupt and lead to nothing. In part, the situation is saved only by the end of the third episode, which, in a good way, was supposed to be the beginning of the season.
The most interesting characters, namely the Marked One, Mr. Charles, and Jessica Jones, are actually missing so far. The short appearance of the Marked Man in the second episode is just ridiculous, consider that he did not exist at all. Mr. Charles suddenly disappeared after a short performance at the beginning, and Jessica's appearance does not even seem to be on the way and is likely to happen in episode 6 (and it is possible that at the very end).
Bottom line: showrunner Dario Skardapein, in fact, did not draw any conclusions from the unfortunate moments of the first season. Critics who have watched the entire second season promise a mega-move from episode 4 and the second half of the season in general, but there is a suspicion that they are somewhat embellishing the situation. Although at some point, Jessica and the Marked One will appear more often on the screen, and Matt's confrontation with Fisk will reach its peak level, so it's worth counting on some improvement.
@alexeyfalko: Thank you for writing your thoughts so beautifully and succinctly. I'll just take a screenshot of you and write to my friends: that's right.
It's a little strange that a good Samaritan got involved in the ranks of Task Force. Even if he's not lying, according to Matt's sonar lie detector, it looks like a piano in the bushes, just to get to the port.
It's an interesting dialogue between Heather and Kirsten, and it's easy to believe that for an ordinary person (especially one who's been attacked) there's no difference between a Muse and an Alarmist and a Daredevil, for her it's all psychopaths in masks. Well, Kirsten is respectable, she is a lawyer by vocation.
Tony Dalton is beautiful every second in the frame. And the tin, it's clear now where all the abducted are being taken, it's just the new 37th again)
I have to say it again, but Buck has zero charisma. Wesley from the original series had an aura of danger, but here he was just an errand boy. Daniel looks even more interesting.
The court is interesting, I'm always in favor of a bit of court drama, I don't have enough law practice compared to the Netflix series. But there's a prosecutor, a judge, and a psychologist in Fisk's pocket, and the fight is uneven. There was a premonition that the judge would release Swordsman so that he could be killed immediately. But no, they hid it.
It was 2026, and Hollywood still doesn't know the difference between Russian and other Slavic languages). But the scene at the port is cool, they deceived expectations, they say Daredevil will go to disrupt the loading, and he freed the hostages. It looked on the edge of the chair, as they say.
And Matt knew about the bombs (he heard the ticking), he had a choice, to save the hard workers or the citizens in cages.
And what's the big deal about this cargo? It seems to be more than just a weapon.
Interestingly, we are waiting for Jess and others in the next episode!
@colorer: "He had a choice, to save the hard workers or the citizens in the cages." He had a choice to find a weapon and somehow show it to everyone, or to save the citizens. "And Matt knew about the bombs (he heard the ticking), he had a choice, to save the hard workers or the citizens in cages." No, he was in a different place altogether, not at the ship, he heard the ticking of the clock, which he put in a drawer with weapons on the ship to find it later, in fact, he went to this drawer until he realized that people were locked there.
@colorer: >it's just the new 37th again) The usual new 2025. In the immigration camps of the states, almost 50 people died in a year. > don't know the difference between russian and other Slavic languages Were there any Russian-speaking movers here, or who are we talking about?
@PiuPiuPiu: No, the Greeks were the captain and his assistant. And those new workers were found by a logistics specialist, according to the story it was said that they were from other countries and did not know English.
Visually, this is the strongest series so far, but in general, the artificiality of the picture is very disappointing. An abundance of some kind of glare and lens effects.
So far, I can't help but feel sad that so many people are trampling on the corpse of the last short season. Well, there are a lot of minor characters who eat away at cron, but the plot doesn't really move. It is clear why the 2nd and 3rd episodes were released at once, the beginning of the season is sagging. They obviously want to make a new Muse out of a psychologist, which, given the general motivation of the character, looks a bit cringe-worthy, to be honest.
I hoped that the second season would make a noticeable step forward after the first. So far, the hopes have not been fulfilled.
@xlbuff: about artificiality, I give a plus! I'm watching it too, and it's all slick and soulless (Compared to you-know-which-version.
After last season, I went to review Netflix, at some point I was distracted by watching some new stuff and abandoned it. And now, once again, I was tempted to continue watching the past greatness. Damn, you're not really worried about anyone, ALL the hostages even survived.
I already want my beloved Jessica, I can't take it anymore, I've been waiting for so many years!!!!! Show me her, show me what's with the Punisher, show me more of the psychopathic thrower... mmmmmmm
actually, I don't go into deep discussions of the plot in the context of comics and this Universe, I'm just not an expert. But it's a pleasure to shift to universal topical stories. where the truth ends and the truth begins, how roles and concepts are replaced - I more than like all these arguments. And it's nice to see high-quality acting, which is more difficult than not in the industry right now.
for me, restarting daredevil is generally more about heaviness, tension and twisting into a ram's horn, more through the environment, through details, through a seemingly meaningless struggle, this is the tenacity when you're fighting evil and you don't understand if you're doing anything at all or if it's all useless. Therefore, this approach works 100% for me, I enjoy this process.
@Koten: I'm also really looking forward to Jessica and hopefully the rest of the defenders. The Punisher seems to be only in the last episode (special for him), which will sum up with his appearance in a new emergency.
We have a bandit who has seized power. He has taken over all government agencies. Arranges police brutality He kills political opponents He imprisons dissenters and just random passers-by. He conducts large-scale television propaganda and fights against alternative opinion on the Internet
Thank you, Daredevil, you've really relaxed me and distracted me from reality! That's it)))
In general, it can only be viewed on rewind. The dialogues between DD and his girlfriend are especially fascinating, they're just empty. But everything that happened with Fisk was not surprising.
@Paramelion: Fisk was gorgeous as a character on Netflix, of course, everyone here got cut up, but there's still something left in Fisk that catches the eye, and his environment has an interesting chemistry with each other. Matt is generally sagging in this regard, stupidly waiting for fights with him and that's it.
They're so predictable with their 1.5 action games per episode. It's scary to imagine what kind of tedium there was in the lawyer drama that they planned for 15 episodes of the first season))
Well, the first three water series have come to an end, and then something extraordinary awaits us (according to the authors, we'll see, we'll see). Although the series is not very eventful, it looks pretty good. The authors of Netflix are trying to make or somehow reveal new characters so that they are not NPCs (in the first season they saved the main characters). From all the plot that has been shown so far, I am tormented by the question of where Kate Bishop is, even if they would hint at one phrase. P.S. The best Daredevil costume of all time. It's a pity they didn't explain the letters in any way, but that's fine.
I didn't understand a bit, why did the Swordsman end up in a cage at Red Hook again after the trial? I mean, okay, when Taskforce is caught on the street without trial, but there's a semblance of an official court, it's announced that he'll be in custody until the measure of restraint is announced, I thought they'd take him to the local pre-trial detention center and that's it, but no. But it only benefits the Resistance, of course) A very cool scene of liberation and fighting, even the owner of the store threw fascists)
Well, it turns out that the people were released, which is good, but all the weapons from the Polar Star were taken to Red Hook, the witnesses were killed (except for the captain's mate), i.e. Fisk is still getting away with it, there is nothing to show New York :/
Karen's right - where's Castle?! He was released at the end of that season, as I understand it, is he really just looking at all this aside. It's contrary to his nature!
I really like the series, I swallow the episodes in one go, I don't feel the feeling of "stomping on the spot" at all, which they write about in the comments.
@upback: As I understand it, the cells are like a local pre-trial detention center) it's just that Swordsman was the very first of those who should stand trial. Well, de, another moral choice towards saving people, it couldn't be any other way. But it seems to me that there are not weapons on the ship, but something cooler (we recall the child from the og series). The last episode is reserved for Castle, dedicated entirely to him, which will tell us and show us where and what Frank was doing. And that will lead to the new Spider-Man movie, which will be released a week after the panisher original.
about in one breath, I agree - the episodes fly by too fast, I want more
@colorer: Well, it sounds kind of logical, but it doesn't fit a bit into the picture of a high-profile trial, there should also be bailiffs who will take him somewhere, from there to the cell. Although, if Fisk even has the judges under control, let alone the bailiffs or the police.
And what kind of child is in the original series? I don't remember what it's about.
@upback: well, yes, the institutions of New York no longer work the way Matt believes in them)
And in the first season, where there was a thread about his Sensei, Stick, DD was supposed to intercept a powerful black sky weapon from the Ruka group, but it turned out that it was a child, i.e. a living weapon.
Yes, I hate most of the minor characters, but I also appreciate any small details, and it was clearly said from interviews with both the actors and the writers that the peak dates back to episode 4, or even the end of it, so I was ready to rock. and what was shown clearly gave a slow but necessary boost for the rest of the season.
and who would doubt that Matt would not pass by and leave people there : (I hope he won't feel guilty for those on the ship, otherwise it's very much his style... he made the right choice anyway. and Fisk's steps are not very predictable, unfortunately. He will always find trumps to put pressure on Matt Murdock, if not on daredevil.
I was waiting for Jessica to appear or for new shots of the swordsman, but I REALLY liked the swordsman's alliance with daredevil, and the whole scene was very nerve-racking. I admire the new costume in every frame, it's just something dark & sexy.
and for those who are still waiting for the punisher, he has his own cabin in a separate wing, and he obviously won't appear this season, which was also confirmed by Charlie Cox and Vincent. besides, I think that in the realities of the canon, castle also has his own preferences in the fight against crime, and he would definitely leave the fight against fisk to daredevil. clean, even friendly.
I find myself thinking that the series should have been called "FISK". There are fewer daredevils here than in the original series, which is where this version loses.
A psychiatrist with mental health problems is almost a cliche, but it became interesting how this line would end. Maybe she'll even notice that the attic is leaking :)
Now the Swordsman and the Tiger are in the team, apparently the rest will catch up further, and the active confrontation will finally begin.
@silvan113: There should be one in the cage, in this or a similar warehouse at Fisk's, but it seems to have come out earlier. He will have a special after the season finale, they will bring him to the spider.
So far, all three series have been built on the same model: throughout the series we have dialogues and showdowns, and at the end there is a lively action scene with fights and some kind of surprise story for intrigue).
Another dull series with 70% of dialogues with minor characters, and what's worth is just a dialogue about a street hotdog))
And just like in the second series, the whole action started at the end of the series, I'm glad that it wasn't an ordinary 1-minute fight, but there was a full mix, and Lalo Salamanco showed himself, but that doesn't change anything, I don't remember what they said the whole series about, it's just impossible to look at this despondency anymore)
All I remember is the moment in court when Fisk's assistant makes Fisk's assistant grab a hot dog, and the ending.
Kirsten doesn't have a fucking memory for hearing details that she remembered when she was drunk. For a minute, I thought that a Peach had flown up to Karen, and this is just a small one...
Give me my Krysten Ritter and let's break up already.
The Punisher was included in the Spider-Man movie, but the Masked Spider-Man (Vigilante) is not mentioned in the series at all... or did he take a vacation and cry about the loss of Mary Jane?
@Mrhammer: It's also a big question where Frank disappeared to, and Spidey is literally doing his business in New York, but there are zero mentions, and there's no sense at all that the series is in the MCU.
There are so many unnecessary and uninteresting lines, especially to spit on the psychologist. It would be better to introduce Jessica Jones from the beginning of the season and leave Panisher, at least it would be interesting to watch them, especially if they met.
Honestly, now I'm just going to squander these useless storylines with these new Persians that only make me yawn.
Honestly, Disney didn't even get close to the original series. Only the action at the end saves a little bit.
So far, the series can be watched either in the background while you're doing things, or rewind, because few people waste your time as uselessly as the showrunner of this series.
I'm even so annoyed by the performance of all the actresses in this series.
I still couldn't accept Karen. The actress's efforts and overplays are too visible
Fisk's wife is kind of blissful with the same facial expression of a mild orgasm.
Malaya - och plays poorly.
The therapist doesn't seem to get into any of the scenes either. Just a beautiful picture with a glass at events - from series to series. Well, this season the task is more difficult., you need to play a novice psychopath, and not go "I'm beautiful"
Kirsten is fine, but she won't pull this train of female characters far.
Show me Jessica already... and maybe we'll get Electra back?
commentators harshly forget that the series is shot to the greatest extent in realism, which is especially emphasized by the actors. Well, Jessica Jones and the Punisher can't get into the series from a quarter without the logic of the plot, we have to be brought to this scenario. Well, you understand already and stop whining ((😒
Daredevil's genres are always based on angst, moral difficulties, and the viscosity and tenacity of problems. "born again" mirrors this very well, for me these two seasons are even more depressing and tougher than the first three)
@amiiparker: it's not about realism, it's about the fact that people are no longer interested in watching Murdoch and his cunt suffering in a circle for the second season in a row (the fifth season in a row, if you count the orig). And many just for the sake of Jessica's appearance turned on this sad d
That was the message that this suffering, eternal tossing, is the main component of a character, whether it's Murdoch or his alter ego. and complaining about it is like demanding a completely different show about another character. Personally, for me, the current comic daredevil is even more "whiny" and increasingly not in substance, but Matt, played by Charlie Cox, is perfectly prescribed psychologically, with all his personal qualities. and for those who appreciate the canonical atmosphere, the scriptwriters conveyed the atmosphere of the hard life of a person "without fear" — a lawyer, a Christian, a vigilante — one hundred percent.
So far, the only really positive thing about the three episodes is the fight at the end of this episode. This makes controversial or negative points more acutely perceived. Why does a psychologist do what she does? She was literally saved by a vigilante, and she's openly drowning them. This is the human prison. Knowing how politicians piss each other off in America for every sneeze, I don't understand how Fisk gets away with it. People are not just being knitted like ice migrants, but are naturally beaten and then they disappear in an unknown direction. These are US citizens. But there's no publicity except for a seedy blogger in a mask. There are essentially armed bandos walking the streets and there is silence in the city. All the media has shrunk to one blog where everything is good and one blog where everything is bad. Speaking of the blogger. Where did she get such awesome awareness from? Yes, she uses chubby, but how does she hide the data? Is Chub so immersed in Fisk's criminal affairs? Finally, the trial. Who only had the characteristics of a swordsman. As far as I understand, no one took him off without a mask, he did not admit it himself. Was that the only reason he was imprisoned? Well, I don't like that Murdoch is being made weak for the sake of the plot. Sometimes he scatters crowds of opponents and manages not to lose a single hostage, even if there are no scratches, then he grabs off two cops to such an extent that they take off his mask. Well, for the little things, here are these strange moral morals. The children repeatedly steal from the store, the owner got sick of it and pulled out the barrel, and the woman screams what he's doing, because they're just kids! And how many more times will we forgive these children before they become more serious criminals?
