I was so afraid of this episode and everything flashed by in seconds, even the flashbacks managed to cram in. It's a little crumpled, but it's exciting.
I feel very sorry for the policeman. So he longed for justice, which, in fact, in the 80s and 90s, no one tried to look for, meaninglessly, "not to spread on bread."
There is a reserve for the second season, but here, in principle, there is a logical holistic ending.
@HaiLouYin: Yeah. I was about to be disappointed that we hadn't been shown some of the things in the screensaver, so they would also leave Chu San's magical abilities of liberation a mystery.
@innsight: It turns out that I shouldn't have squandered the screensaver this time... I'll go see what scenes we weren't shown.
And anyway, I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw that the episode lasts only 40 minutes. It's a bad habit to make the final episode the shortest. Revenged Love had the same thing
@HaiLouYin: They didn't even know what to add in those 40 minutes, because there were a lot of flashbacks. I hope that they have shortened it so that the rest can be added in the second season. Although, I don't really hope for a sequel, not at all.
@innsight: I also really, really don't hope not to suffer later, but the episode ended with the words: "Chapter: the divine trial" (literally).
Which, of course, looks like a groundwork for the second season and hints that this story has several chapters. And I really hope that the creators know what they are doing, and not playing with the feelings of the audience. 🤞🏻
The guys watched the episode live, and I know there was a question about the second season.… I urgently need subtitles to understand what they replied to it.…
@HaiLouYin: By the way, Chu San probably spent 25 minutes talking to them, since it was like half an hour on the bomb at the beginning, and they stopped the time at 5 minutes. The pros are just
@innsight: @HaiLouYin: And I really, really hope for the second season, I even agree with the third, I don't want to say goodbye to these beads, and the police are such sweet rolls. And, of course, I still want to close all the holes in the plot, get answers and a normal outcome.
@innsight: I'll hold my fists for at least one special, or better yet, two. They're shooting a sequel for all the shit, but here it's worth the work, I want to believe that a sequel awaits us.
@innsight: What a cool detail did you notice 🤌🏼 Chusan has a real gift for persuasion Even Lü was able to persuade him in the end ... although this tough nut persevered for several months.
Damn, a tough nut to crack... some kind of ambiguous characterization of Lucy 🤭
@88Iriska88: maybe this time we really will have a sequel. After all, Chinese bl is already a small miracle on a universal scale, and where there is one miracle, there may be a second one.🤞🏻
@innsight: @HaiLouYin: @Ayana85:@sirynguy: Girls, who was sad on Friday? A 10-minute video from bts of Chusan's dream was released on YouTube, of which 6 minutes are spent kissing😳😳😳😳😳 long, passionately, I'm shorter.. etaa...I haven't come out of yesterday's coma yet, and I've fallen into a second one.🥵🥵🥵
@vera24: And it was wonderful! Especially the pillow scene. And the bonus should be written out to the girl . I don't know if she's a producer or a director. But interesting thoughts come from her. It's not the first video I've noticed)).
@sirynguy: And what kind of thoughts? Were there subtitles????? I've already watched it three times, I didn't pay attention to something))) Nushtosh, we'll have to look again.
@vera24: I don't really speak English either. At first, she said something about the carpet, and Chusan nodded happily: Yes, yes. And someone started saying, Oh my God, oh my God!
@sirynguy: by the way, I just didn't fix the subtitles, I saw them, or something before them)) My advice is, if you weren't watching with headphones on, then look into them. At 5 minutes, you can clearly hear the kisses and how passionately Ciao breathes. Mother of God, what's going on!!!!!!
@vera24: Yes, she set them up a lot there. It takes a long time to retell everything. But I like her attitude: "Do whatever you want, it doesn't matter to me, just have fun."
The line of Inspector Xie and Officer Lu hooked me NO less than the line of the main characters, and maybe more ... I would have watched a separate series about them. 💔 They made it more logical in the film than in the novel, as Vera said, where they were both in love with this one dead handsome guy. And in the series, I liked the fact that Lou turned out to be his brother, seeking revenge. Our main characters are very lucky that someone like Xie took over their business.
In general, the series is well shot and the music and the lights and the colors are all in the theme. Chu San + Xia Liui = super Zai forever 💞
@Ayana85: The fact that this dead guy turned out to be the investigator's brother was just as surprising as it was for the policeman. But I think that's what brought them closer again.
@innsight: In general, it was very interesting to turn this topic around with kinship. Although I was already beginning to guess that it wasn't for nothing that Li Guangming was so actively getting into this whole story, as if he were an interested party. I assumed he was either related to the deceased policeman, or they were lovers. But the second is questionable, because I still did not understand the status of Jiahou's relationship in this matter and why this loss was particularly significant. Was he in love with his colleague? Was it mutual, or were they close, friends, and he treated him like a little brother?
@Ayana85: You know, I'm not sure now that they were both in love. The translation is rather clumsy, we should look for another one and reread some points. If someone has already read up to this point, do you have something to say?
@innsight: there is a nuance here: in "ge" there is a status, and in "gege" there are more feelings. Such an address sounds affectionate and affectionate, hinting at a very close bond between people. Whether it's family members or a loved one , "Brother," in short, And you're right, Chinese phonetics is good for Lu Guangming. He can easily pretend to be a fool later.
@Ayana85: Damn, I'm sorry I'm late responding, I've stopped receiving notifications. And I'll forgive him everything, as long as he doesn't hit on Chumanchik anymore. Let Inspector Xie hoe
Before I write a multi-letter comment about why I fell in love with this drama, I need to admire the lovesick Lui.
When he touched the place where Chusan had been sitting, as if in an attempt to regain the feeling of his presence next to me, I realized that the guy had swum
@HaiLouYin: Yes, it was touching. And then when he was waiting for him and rehearsing his welcome speech: "are you back?" — there was such a thrill. And it's the heart on her nose that made Lucy smile sweetly.😍
@innsight: Yeah, he was humming it so charmingly to himself 🥰 I was happy to watch this scene again from beginning to end, even though I only needed 7 seconds to catch it. 🫠
@HaiLouYin: I couldn't resist and have already watched the entire series several times. 🤭 The novel is waiting on the sidelines. I haven't even read half of it yet, like I'm stretching it out.
@innsight: I'm with you. While I was deleting a bunch of videos, I realized that I needed to reconsider. I'm curious if I'll find any small details that I didn't pay attention to in my emotions. I also postponed the novel, although I came across the English version, it seems to be in a normal translation, but I don't have the strength to check it yet. And I want to understand first whether to expect a miracle or not. Otherwise, I know myself... then I will suffer that I know all the answers in advance. And she just slowed down at the moment when the Lui was raked in.
@vera24: Yeah, I've already picked up spoilers while I was looking for the novel, so I stopped at the same place as the drama, when it becomes clear that this is it, I'll move on. There will probably be a translation by this point . In general, it won't be long before I finish reading the novel, apparently. 🫠
@HaiLouYin: I have this problem with heroin, I read to the point where my mom started going to them as if they were her home, and something came up with so much)) He's been waiting for three days now
@HaiLouYin: And I actually made a picture for myself for a T-shirt. This is the first time this has happened to me. I took a shot of Louis fighting with knives and looking straight into the camera, a close-up shot of a face with a bloody horizontal stripe on his cheek. And prompt : Based on this photo, while maintaining the bright red color, make an illustrative collage illustration by adding two knives, a broken violin and the inscription FINALLY PRINCESS MOMMY INTO BLACK CAT MODE. The similarity to the face from the photo is 100%. (the style I chose was a risograph). Suddenly someone will need it (o◡o)
@vera24: Oh, I don't have a subscription... I can't attach the picture. But it turned out great. I don't know, you probably can't link to yandex.Disk according to the rules. I could have put it there.
But since the emotional swing in this drama is gold of the highest standard, from butterflies in the stomach and almost overshadowing happiness ... to a heart that has collapsed into its heels, it's just one phone call.
The finale turned out to be obscenely short, which undoubtedly broke my heart... but this scene was so emotional that I am ready to forgive the creators of this inhuman act.
And I'm sure that at this moment, Liu feels not only relieved, but also proud of Chusan. He shouldn't have doubted that his little fox would find a way to get out.
@HaiLouYin: And it seems to me that the policeman himself will help Lui, I think he believes that Lui did not kill. But according to the novel, there is sadness and sadness. I haven't finished reading it yet, but I've already run into the main spoiler @vera24
@innsight: I wish I could, because it's not for nothing that Lu Guangming has been working on it so carefully all this time. Xie Jiahua is definitely interested in the truth, not in being arrested for show He even came himself, which means he's ready to dig deeper.
Of course, Lucy has enough dark things of her own.… But then Cui Dongdong will give him a good lawyer and that's it.
Plus, Chusan will make up some more convincing fairy tale. There's a gang bust-up on duty, not for the first time. He'll say that Lui saved him, actually, what kind of claims 😁
And how can you not believe in those sincere eyes of an innocent student 😏
At least he looked like himself again in the hospital. And there, in this abandoned building, among the bandits, he looked so confident, like the leader of a group. He's so dirty, covered in blood, like a really dark-skinned Indian.
@innsight: Even for a second, it seemed to me that Chusan was a little scared that Liu Yi saw him like this. 😅 Luyi already reads his tricks and realizes that Chusan is not so innocent, and after such a performance, it will be more difficult for Chusan to make cute eyes in front of Luyi.
And so Chusan looked gorgeous in this scene. There was a different aura coming from him. And in general, the series has well revealed the character of Chusan. I checked out how quickly he figured out to introduce himself as a financial advisor. Lui got himself an awesome guy 🤌🏼
@vera24: Nope, Which chapter is this? I'm still in translation waiting mode... two chapters every three days is torture ☹️ I'm already ready to buy, otherwise I'll die before I wait for all the chapters. I think I came across a paid version of a good translation, but of course I didn't know where it was.
@HaiLouYin: if you find it, please share it. Well, I'll write, not really a spoiler. Lucy understands that the student is an actor and a manipulator)) and after another prank by Chusanchik , Lu fell asleep next to him , and he thought with horror and a chill along his spine: Who the hell are you?????
@HaiLouYin: If anyone can tell me where to look for a paid transfer, I'd be grateful. I also can't wait for a new one to come out, although, of course, thanks for it too.
I am the queen of spoilers)) Especially on "Online Friends" the first season 😸😺 Speaking of the second season, I really enjoyed the episode today - Boston's ex-boyfriend Nick appeared.
And here, if you've spoiled it, it's just a little bit. @innsight: just kidding 😃
Damn, the time is 23:40, there's probably no point in going to watch the new episode "Love in Shiloh" in 20 minutes, the Internet will be turned off until 5 or 6 in the morning... or NOT turned off for a change 😼 Every night you don't know.
In general, thanks to all the commentators of this series "Day of Protection ..." It was great to watch the series and read your reviews. We humbly hope for a second season...
@Ayana85: today I'm ready to change only with Vayu))) I'll just take a look at them. Although the spongebobs intrigued me too))) You are not)) I remember.
@vera24: @vera24: Ah, yes, I remember that moment.
In the novel, Chusanchik is just something. It 's a pity that in the drama it was not possible to reveal in more detail his entire scheme with a fictitious girl. I read and admired how subtly this asshole played on Lucy's nerves.
@jaesu_1866: if I find it, I'll definitely send it here
With this story, I had love at first sight. And when the credits rolled for the first episode, I already knew that from that moment on, my Fridays would belong to Chusan and Liui.
I've been waiting for every episode with impatience, and even now I'm starting to feel this uncomfortable emotional hangover when the story is already over and you can't leave it.
The drama hooked me right away and primarily due to the setting and cinematography. But the symbiosis itself worked no less: crime drama, comedy and romance, which constantly collide with each other.
Surprisingly, I usually don't like genre vinaigrettes, but here it was this move that made me fall in love with the story, because it works on the plot and creates a new level of emotional swing.
Here, tension quietly coexists with comedic awkwardness, cold calculation with sudden tenderness. And I didn't feel all this as a contradiction, because for the characters themselves, this is life. Cruelty and everyday life do not compete with each other, but simply exist side by side, as two sides of the same reality, and I felt it for myself.
One minute you're watching with a heavy heart, and the next the plot suddenly throws up a domestic moment that pulls you out of chaos, filth and violence... like a reminder that this world is not just about cruelty. The people inside him get used to it, adapt, continue to live, and it is the intersperses of lightness and humor that make you feel that the atmosphere lives not only in the scenery, but also in the characters themselves.
The criminal world has long been a part of their lives, and therefore no one reflects violence and injustice every second. They continue to move on without getting stuck in these states. And the viewer is led at the same pace.
And yes, the story does not stand still, but constantly moves forward and does not let you get bored.
I want to say something about romance separately I know that it was not enough for some of the audience, and for others it felt too slow, but for me it was more than enough. I've enjoyed this pace since the first episode, because I love it when feelings aren't flaunted from the first seconds. And that's why every scene with their manifestation caused me to tremble.
And of course, the directing and the visual side deserve special mention. Here you can feel the attention to detail: color correction, the play of light and shadow, all this aesthetics of the late 80s. I often found myself thinking that I wanted to stop and take a closer look at the frame. Interiors, costumes, makeup, music, installation — it all adds up to a single visual language that you want to immerse yourself in.
And even I especially appreciate Chusan's dream kiss from the point of view of directing. On the one hand, this is an aesthetically pleasing scene in which every gesture and every movement works on emotions. On the other hand, it's a kind of gesture towards the viewer. It's as if the creators understand that slowburn is not easy for everyone, and they give this moment as a reward for their patience.
I also want to mention slomo, which works here point-by-point and dynamically. This gives rise to the very desire for time to stop and the moment to never end... but it moves and slips away. And in general, these pauses and glances, when no one looks away, but on the contrary, as if trying to see something in them, already create tangible chemistry and feelings in themselves, which you react to with your heart before the characters themselves are able to realize them. Sticky hay when Chusan rides the bus – chef's kiss
And I really caught myself at some point that I stopped being an observer and just found myself inside this story, living emotions with the characters.
Not everything is perfect here, but for me it overlaps with the atmosphere and the way the visual and emotional layer is built. And this is probably the main indicator that the creators are working not only with the form, but also with the content. ••• The result is a very catchy mix of crime, drama, humor, and vibrant chemistry between the characters. A story that has a character and you want to follow it further.
I feel Sammy's children's day as a separate piece of my life that I lived with the characters. And I already know that I want to go back to her.
And it doesn't matter if the drama continues or not, it will stay in my heart rent-free.
P.S. and yes, BTS and streams are a must—have program. There's a special magic there: the moments of everyday life, the reactions while watching the episode, the discussion of the filming process, and just the opportunity to look at the actors outside the roles , the guys give such a powerful aura of comfort that it makes my cheekbones ache with a smile.
@HaiLouYin: God! Your comments are like a balm to the soul. More interesting than a novel.
Yes, it was impossible not to fall in love with the first frame! In the first minute of the series, they just took us and threw us from the sky right into this narrow alley. That's how we "found ourselves inside this story," and so far we want to stay there for a while longer.
I started watching the episode with the thought: this time I'll just limit myself to GIFs, but something went wrong.
I was so emotionally overwhelmed that it's just impossible to describe it in two words. There's too much I wanted to celebrate. I shortened it as much as I could, because otherwise I would really have written a second novel. 😆
It was such an intense immersion that I still don't understand how to get out of this story.…
As you wrote above, "now we'll finish reading the novel, watch their streams and other videos."
Well, a few impressions about the plot as a whole and the ending of the story.
The plot for me is a direct hit to the very heart. I'm tired of the usual predictable dynamics built only around the relationships of the main characters, when it doesn't even matter what obstacles are introduced into the plot, and it's clear in advance how everything will end, but it's important for me to feel the tension and worry about the characters.
The dynamic between Liu Yi and Chusan is the jewel of this story for me. And I like that it doesn't fit into the usual patterns. There is no classic enemies-to-lovers here, and there is no feeling that someone was in love from the very beginning. The story focuses on the slow development of relationships, where the characters go from strangers to deep affection.
Feelings here do not arise out of nowhere, they are collected from actions and gestures, from interaction and experience, which gradually brings the characters closer. And it is in these little things that not only affection is revealed, but also the characters themselves.
For example, the scene with the celebration of Chusan's admission to the university Lui does not interfere, does not invade this world, but simply leaves, lingering on Chusan's gaze. And there are several layers to this look at once: interest, a desire to protect someone else's happiness, and a slight sadness that someone's family can be so cozy and supportive. And it only makes my heart feel warmer when Lui becomes a part of this family.
Even then, Liu was unknowingly protecting Chusan, who was a special person within the walls of a stuffy, cramped and gloomy area of Hong Kong, and gradually he became special to himself. So, the episode when Liu Yi goes to the territory of a warring gang to buy a bouquet for Chusan for graduation speaks louder than any words about his feelings.
A special pleasure for me is that both Lü and Chusan are two strong characters who reveal themselves as the story progresses.
Chusan, who at first seems easier and more accommodating, actually gets attached faster, realizes his feelings earlier, does not turn away from them, but on the contrary shows perseverance.
But Lucy, on the contrary, holds on to the last, but then abruptly goes into his jealous, possessive side. At such moments, he is both tough and ridiculously touching, because he constantly has this strange mixture of danger and almost childish, puppy-like gentleness. And that's another thing that makes this story special to me.
After all, Lui is a man who was forced to grow up early and build up his armor. But inside, he didn't stop being alive: a moody, stubborn, impulsive boy with a bad temper.
He is cruel to those who deserve it, but hides all the thorns when it comes to loved ones. Except that Xiao Ma gets slapped on the back of the head, but their interaction always made me smile. Xiao Ma is such a funny fool, but at the same time the most loyal person whom Liu sometimes trusts even more than Cui Dongdong.
And that's probably why I can't just see Lucy as someone from the criminal world. I understand what he's doing, I understand that it's illegal, but at the same time I have a very warm feeling for him. And not only because he's a charismatic caramel bun, but because I understand him.
At first, childhood deprived him of a basic sense of security and dragged him into darkness, then the environment within the world of triads gave him protection, principles and a direction that he follows. And in the end, he just goes down this path because he doesn't know any other way. He has a past that shaped him, and a future that seems pre-determined. But fate had prepared Chusan for him.
And this is where the most interesting moment begins for me. Because Chusan is a man who had a choice. He had goals, he had another life, but meeting with Lucy turns him towards the world from which he planned to stay as far away as possible.
And for some reason, looking at him, the line "I was made for loving you babe" pops up in my mind. I think that's what you can see in his eyes when he looks at Lucy.
Chusan is not a perfect hero. He's quite an actor. He is cunning, he is calculating, he can manipulate and adjust circumstances. But that's what makes it lively and interesting.
He is ready to wait, act and balance on the border between two worlds. He understands that you can't get out of the underworld without getting your hands dirty, and he stays close anyway.
And this is his conscious choice. He saves Lucy once, then again, and at some point he can't stop. Yes, love plays a huge role here, but no less important is his inner determination and strength of character. Chusan is one of those people who, if they have already decided something, will see it through. Even if it means rethinking your moral guidelines.
And I love stories where the characters are complex, the emotions are ambiguous, and the actions don't fit into a simple division into right and wrong. Where morality and its absence collide and create something more complex. Where life is not divided into black and white, but consists of contradictions, circumstances and personal choices.
Perhaps the fact is that I never drown for didacticism, which is why the story fascinated me so much. I leave real life on the other side of the screen and accept the rules of the game. I want to live this story through the eyes of the characters, to understand what shaped them and why they make this or that choice, without trying to label it.
And that's probably why the story of Chusan and Lui got me so deeply hooked. I watched two people who grew, developed, overcame difficulties and chose each other over and over again.
Before watching, I set myself up for a cliffhanger, so I wasn't disappointed by the finale.
I understood that it would not be possible to close the story to zero, because the path that the characters have gone through now feels like the beginning of something more.
As if during these nine episodes the plot unfolds a large-scale prehistory, preparing the ground for further development, and at this stage the plot has put all the key figures in their places, and of course, I want to know how the fate of the characters will develop further.
And not just Chusan and Liui. The story of Xie Jiahua and Lu Guangming intrigued me no less I want to see Xie Jiahua looking for answers to his questions, and Lu Guangming playing his game.
As a result, the story puts an ellipsis, and I will be glad if the creators can give us a sequel. But even if that doesn't happen, I'm grateful for the emotions I felt while watching. Well, I can satisfy my curiosity by reading a novel.
I'm just glad that at least part of this story came out from the pages of the novel to the screen, and I had the opportunity to see and feel it.
@HaiLouYin: on the air, when asked about the second season, they both nodded, but without subtitles it was unclear, they just agreed that yes they should or they really would. And when they hugged at the end, I almost burst into tears myself. And it was clear that it was Chan who was the eldest in their relationship, stroking and patting him like a baby... mm...🥲🥲
@vera24: Oh yeah, those hugs for two minutes... the guys were so moved 😭 It felt like it was painful for them to say goodbye to their characters and this story.
Now I'm going to periodically check the YouTube channel, suddenly there will be some official statement about the second season.
And yes, Chang is three years older, so he takes care of Yan Chao like a real ge. 🥹
@vera24: I noticed that there is such a tradition: at the end of filming, the younger ones write letters of thanks to the older ones, in which they share their impressions of working together and thank them for their support and care.
And then Yan Chao reads out the letter he dedicated to Changxi. 🥺
@HaiLouYin: It's clear now. He could barely contain himself from crying. Like we are without kittens. 😪I am so glad that they did not follow the path of Jiuyi and Tian, and we have the opportunity to continue seeing them together. Did you know that Changxi gave Chao an iPhone for his birthday? My suspicious dog senses that there is something to suspect🤔 And on another broadcast, they were discussing a kiss, and they started talking about how Chan touched his skin, and at that moment they looked at each other meaningfully and it was obvious that they remembered something they knew. I won't let you sink this ship. Don't even hope)
@vera24: I'm also very glad that the guys can communicate and not have all these crazy restrictions and prohibitions on their heads. Let them continue to remove their vlogs and streams... I'm ready to watch everything.
And yes, thanks to the ubiquitous fans, I also know that Changsi gave me an iPhone. The guys seem to be deliberately provoking the audience to ambiguous conclusions. So there was a blog where Changxi called Yan Chao baobei (baby, baby and all that stuff), and of course they both got embarrassed. And another video where Yan Chao blew Changxi a kiss, and he replied: "Don't do that here."
And there are just a lot of such moments, because the audience notices every detail, and these kittens seem to enjoy watching the fans go crazy and catch a shark. 🤪
Separately, I can't help but compliment the acting, because the atmosphere and emotions of watching it largely depend on it.
The actor playing the role of Chusan lets so many emotions run through him that you can literally see the gears turning in his head. He doesn't just take the tone of the scene: sad — sad, cheerful — happy. He gives his character volume
I especially remember the scene of the bullet extraction, and the glass fragments too.
Tension, fear, and anxiety are read at the level of body language. In his eyes, in his tense shoulders, in his trembling fingertips, in his quivering muscles. All this makes the scene tangible. Yes, everything I see is unreal, but what I feel is absolutely real. I see the character's fear, feel his excitement, and live this scene with him.
The actor very smoothly guided his character from "the student who hides under the table" to a man who will descend even into hell if it allows him to save his beloved.
Similarly, the actor in the role of Xia Liui combines several images, which he very skillfully juggles.
Mafia mode was awesome. I adore cold–blooded Louis with a bored look, which he makes it clear that everything around him is a dirty mold. And when Lui turns on berserk mode… I'm dying looking into those cold eyes full of predatory gleam. 🫠
And, of course, Princess mode is pure charm. I love every scene in which Lucy lets herself relax and be funny, awkward, vulnerable, sweet, touching, embarrassed, annoyed... truly alive.
And all this is thanks to an actor who understands how facial expressions work, knows how to put emotions into gestures, voice, gaze, and literally brings his character to life.
And by the way, "Sam... nice to meet you..." is an improvisation by Yan Chao. That's what it means to feel your character. 🤌🏼
Well, the take, during which Yan Chao's peach sat on the curtain, turning Liu Yi into a "bride", is a good example of how even a mistake can create a beautiful scene.
Thanks to Yan Chao for being able to keep his face down and for including this take in the final edit. After all, such awkward moments are very much in the style of Lucy.
It was so beautiful and sensual. For the sake of just such an emotional response in the soul, you watch doramas and lacornas. To be honest, I was wondering if it was worth it or not. I was very afraid to be disappointed, because the story is not really over at all. Well, what did they have to finish the standard 12 episodes and put everything on the shelves?! The feeling that the story was interrupted in the middle. The cop's killer has not been revealed, and Louis must get out of the situation with his arrest (at least regarding the murder, which is not his fault). I would even like him to serve time for his past sins and remain clean before the law and with a clear conscience go into a new life with Chusan. Inspector Xie and Guangming should become the second couple. How the look of the first one changed when he learned the motives of the second's actions. There just has to be a sequel to this. You can't shoot so cool and stop in the middle.
@vera24: Oh, my goodness, of course. Hugs and more. Well, it's clear why they didn't show us. It was still the time when they were trying to boost Chu San's testosterone. It was still a long way from acceptance.
In general, they have too many off-screen kisses. They spoil us. But, it's a little scary.
@innsight: Don't tell me, I came across shorts at first, I didn't believe it, I thought. Ciao is like a kitten in real life)) Laskusha is like that. Why is it scary?
@vera24: Well, because bl actors in China may fall under what they now call "soft cancellation." The more such manifestations behind the scenes, the more anxious the fans are for them.
@innsight: I agree, it's even a little scary, I'm hooked on China, you can't deprive me of China))) And I already have so many Chinese novelties written down in my notebook, and the NC there is one hotter than the other, something China has completely lost its temper. The Gaze is coming out today and will show as many as 4 episodes. But I can't find her here((( Where do you need to contact to be added? Do you know? To avoid constantly tugging at Chichen
@vera24: In general, if you don't find it in the search engine, then they offer you the option to suggest a TV series/movie yourself. You click there, a window opens, you enter the name, the year, the country, the number of episodes, and in general everything that is known. And they add almost always every day.
Chichen is already here as an administrator herself, she will never refuse such a case.
@vera24: Yank me to your heart 's content 😌 Don't even waste the letters on unnecessary explanations, just throw in the name of the series or what needs to be added, subtracted, changed, corrected... you can just put a resolution: "to work" 😁
@HaiLouYin: I'm pulling)))) Painter Of The Night or Night Studies in Russian - Korea. Lost to you - China ❤ This is what I remembered so far, I'll go through my Talmud at home and add it)
@vera24: Maybe you were just hiding. I have it both from my computer and from my phone. Those that have already been marked as banned in our country, I repeat, you will not find without a VPN.
So, well, I'm indignant! Where are my well-deserved couple more episodes where the guys are just hugging, making out, kissing happily?! Where is all this?!
A wonderful drama, bright, wildly charismatic characters, an interesting story and a beautiful picture. We were very pleased.
I am sure that the modest and quiet ChUsan would have quietly crushed the whole of Hong Kong in the end.
So, who read the novel, is there anything else to shoot? Is there?
@innsight: we discussed it so much that people were afraid to come here))) One friend said she was fucked up and wasn't ready to read the 300-plus comments.
Discussion: Season 1, Episode 9 Join the Discussion
175I feel very sorry for the policeman. So he longed for justice, which, in fact, in the 80s and 90s, no one tried to look for, meaninglessly, "not to spread on bread."
There is a reserve for the second season, but here, in principle, there is a logical holistic ending.
Liu Yi and Chu San are forever in my heart.
And anyway, I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw that the episode lasts only 40 minutes.
It's a bad habit to make the final episode the shortest.
Revenged Love had the same thing
Which, of course, looks like a groundwork for the second season and hints that this story has several chapters. And I really hope that the creators know what they are doing, and not playing with the feelings of the audience. 🤞🏻
The guys watched the episode live, and I know there was a question about the second season.… I urgently need subtitles to understand what they replied to it.…
has a real gift for persuasion
Even Lü was able to persuade him in the end ... although this tough nut persevered for several months.
Damn, a tough nut to crack... some kind of ambiguous characterization of Lucy 🤭
You'll see the fireworks anyway when watching
My advice is, if you weren't watching with headphones on, then look into them. At 5 minutes, you can clearly hear the kisses and how passionately Ciao breathes.
Mother of God, what's going on!!!!!!
I would have watched a separate series about them. 💔
They made it more logical in the film than in the novel, as Vera said, where they were both in love with this one dead handsome guy.
@vera24: I'm only at the beginning of their story so far, but one thing is for sure he's lying, he's not a brother
But Inspector Xie and I believed it 😳
@Ayana85: Inspector Xie will look into this matter quickly.
, "Brother," in short,
And you're right, Chinese phonetics is good for Lu Guangming. He can easily pretend to be a fool later.
The only way I'll forgive this crafty Lu is if he really falls in love with Inspector Xie.
And I'll forgive him everything, as long as he doesn't hit on Chumanchik anymore.
Let Inspector Xie hoe
When he touched the place where Chusan had been sitting, as if in an attempt to regain the feeling of his presence next to me, I realized that the guy had swum
And while I was watching, I was touched again by the fact that he put on Chusan's pajama shirt while waiting for him from work. 🥹
I was happy to watch this scene again from beginning to end, even though I only needed 7 seconds to catch it. 🫠
In general, it won't be long before I finish reading the novel, apparently. 🫠
Thanks for the prompt, I definitely need it.

He shouldn't have doubted that his little fox would find a way to get out.
But I have no doubt that Chusan will not have time to recover from the beatings yet, as Cui Dongdong will bring Liu back into his arms 😌
He even came himself, which means he's ready to dig deeper.
Luyi already reads his tricks and realizes that Chusan is not so innocent, and after such a performance, it will be more difficult for Chusan to make cute eyes in front of Luyi.
And so Chusan looked gorgeous in this scene. There was a different aura coming from him. And in general, the series has well revealed the character of Chusan. I checked out how quickly he figured out to introduce himself as a financial advisor.
Lui got himself an awesome guy 🤌🏼
Well, don't drive) It's not this time😀
Which chapter is this?
I'm still in translation waiting mode... two chapters every three days is torture ☹️
I'm already ready to buy, otherwise I'll die before I wait for all the chapters.
I think I came across a paid version of a good translation, but of course I didn't know where it was.
Well, I'll write, not really a spoiler.
Lucy understands that the student is an actor and a manipulator)) and after another prank by Chusanchik , Lu fell asleep next to him , and he thought with horror and a chill along his spine: Who the hell are you?????
I am the queen of spoilers))
Especially on "Online Friends" the first season 😸😺
Speaking of the second season, I really enjoyed the episode today - Boston's ex-boyfriend Nick appeared.
And here, if you've spoiled it, it's just a little bit.
@innsight: just kidding 😃
Damn, the time is 23:40, there's probably no point in going to watch the new episode "Love in Shiloh" in 20 minutes, the Internet will be turned off until 5 or 6 in the morning...
or NOT turned off for a change 😼
Every night you don't know.
In general, thanks to all the commentators of this series "Day of Protection ..."
It was great to watch the series and read your reviews.
We humbly hope for a second season...
Although the spongebobs intrigued me too)))
You are not)) I remember.
In the novel, Chusanchik is just something. It
's a pity that in the drama it was not possible to reveal in more detail his entire scheme with a fictitious girl. I read and admired how subtly this asshole played on Lucy's nerves.
@jaesu_1866: if I find it, I'll definitely send it here
The best description for this gif
This is the best thing I've watched this year officially.
•••
The result is a very catchy mix of crime, drama, humor, and vibrant chemistry between the characters.
There's a special magic there: the moments of everyday life, the reactions while watching the episode, the discussion of the filming process, and just the opportunity to look at the actors outside the roles
, the guys give such a powerful aura of comfort that it makes my cheekbones ache with a smile.
For example, the scene with the celebration of Chusan's admission to the university
Lui does not interfere, does not invade this world, but simply leaves, lingering on Chusan's gaze.
I just let this story get under my skin.
The story of Xie Jiahua and Lu Guangming intrigued me no less
I want to see Xie Jiahua looking for answers to his questions, and Lu Guangming playing his game.
And when they hugged at the end, I almost burst into tears myself. And it was clear that it was Chan who was the eldest in their relationship, stroking and patting him like a baby... mm...🥲🥲
It felt like it was painful for them to say goodbye to their characters and this story.
Now I'm going to periodically check the YouTube channel, suddenly there will be some official statement about the second season.
And yes, Chang is three years older, so he takes care of Yan Chao like a real ge. 🥹
And then Yan Chao reads out the letter he dedicated to Changxi. 🥺
Did you know that Changxi gave Chao an iPhone for his birthday? My suspicious dog senses that there is something to suspect🤔
And on another broadcast, they were discussing a kiss, and they started talking about how Chan touched his skin, and at that moment they looked at each other meaningfully and it was obvious that they remembered something they knew.
I won't let you sink this ship. Don't even hope)
Mr. Lu was obviously not a brother with that policeman, because he is still a cunning man.
Well, the final scene of the reunion of Chusan and Liu hit the very heart.
I will miss our kittens.
In general, they have too many off-screen kisses. They spoil us. But, it's a little scary.
Why is it scary?
And I already have so many Chinese novelties written down in my notebook, and the NC there is one hotter than the other, something China has completely lost its temper. The Gaze is coming out today and will show as many as 4 episodes. But I can't find her here((( Where do you need to contact to be added? Do you know? To avoid constantly tugging at Chichen
Эта?
Chichen is already here as an administrator herself, she will never refuse such a case.
Don't even waste the letters on unnecessary explanations, just throw in the name of the series or what needs to be added, subtracted, changed, corrected... you can just put a resolution: "to work" 😁

Otherwise, if not, I'll have to see why. In theory, he should have loaded up yesterday.
And I'll tighten up the schedule when streaming rolls out, too, so far only the release date has been announced.
For some reason, that's exactly the comparison that came to mind)))
