The best series since the beginning of 2026 for me personally. A high-quality drama and a worthy sequel to Yellowstone. Watching the entire season took place in one go.

Beth and Rip are still super cool. I really liked the new characters too. This applies not only to the characters of the old-school actors Ed Harris and Annette Benning, but also to the Oreans played by Natalie Elin Lind. This actress was a real discovery.

The only thing I would like to see in the 10-episode season is another episode for the final showdown with the Mexicans, but after the final conversation, "They need us and they'll get us," even the cliffhanger at the very end does not cause much disappointment. I'm looking forward to the second season - it's nice that the renewal was announced in advance.

@alexeyfalko: On the contrary, it seems to me that Natalie Elin Lind is very overdoing things. I wrote in the comments to one of the previous episodes that she doesn't really have the moments where you need to express an emotion expressively. She's too clumsy at it. But the actress is very beautiful.
Otherwise, I completely agree with you. The season was a success. The script, the direction, the acting are just sweet.

How hard they decided to end the season. Bravo. Impatience for the next one is now through the roof.
Of course, Carter continued to do stupid things, and it would have been fine if it hadn't played into the hands of the enemy.
Beth and Rip are still the Power Couple of both the franchise and all the neo-westerns.
Rob-Will is even a pity, the character had a lot of potential.

It doesn't matter how the cartel knew about Carter and where he was. Well, the ending is strange, as if the series should have been 10, not 9.
Actually, this moment, that they are looking for Carter for half of the series, is somehow far-fetched. Drama for the sake of drama.

They didn't raise the stakes so much for the series! There was a drama, it became a crime drama... There are, however, a couple of pianos in the bushes. And the lists of Beth and Rip were brought and almost given into their hands, and the Latinos quickly found Carter. But it's more likely to be beneficial: they've cut out the useless timing of searches that would have ended so clearly.
It's not clear now how long to wait until next season...

Why didn't anyone say anything about pregnancy? Who has any thoughts on how to expand? Carter will marry Ariana, the Movie will most likely also be removed in the process, Buula will either die or retire completely and be with Everett. As a result, in the end, through Carter and Ariana, who will inherit everything, Bette and Rip will actually become the owners and build / establish their own super-duper ranch with a history and without drugs, developing a cycle of processing and supplying ready-made elite meat. Carter will grow up and become a normal rancher, like Rip and John. And the whole family will happily live in a new place in Texas, continuing the story of real cowboys. 😁

@DenNight: Well, Rip told him not to flash, it's clear that he's gone, I hope they won't find him.
By the end of the season, the script had sunk into the sunset. Template on template and chasing template.

Beth, who behaves like a whiny little girl, absolutely does not fit in with the logic of the behavior of Beth from Yellowstone. Rip also passed, although he kept the kid in check.

I have no idea where they will take the story, I want to believe that they will not force it to skip.

This episode, as well as the whole season. Especially in comparison with the Marshals and taking into account the new team, the expectations were met by 100%, it turned out to be a very worthy continuation of Yellowstone, well done. I like how dynamically events develop in this show and that screen time is not spent explaining empty details like how the mafia found out someone's address. It's their damn job to know everything about the people they need to take out... They have the money, the people, and all the means to do it. I was worried about Everett the whole episode, especially when he came to help protect the ranch, because he knows too much and his death would be a blow to Beulah. But Rob Villa was cut down instead... Of course, I don't feel sorry for him as a person, but as a character who contributed a lot of movement to the plot, I thought he would stay for 2-3 seasons. Beth and Rip are great, and I can't wait for them to show the Mexicans what real Duttons can do in anger. My favorite and most chemical power couple, both from westerns and from all the shows or movies I've seen in recent years. The only thing that was missing here was the 10th episode to put an end to Carter's ordeal and not drag at least this branch into the new season. They announced the extension, but with Kelly Riley pregnant, it's unclear when the sequel will be released... I wouldn't want to wait a few years, like between the Yellowstone seasons.

Where was Bella going at night with all her drugs?
And when the cartel called Beth, why couldn't they say, we don't have anything of yours, Beulah has everything? It's kind of illogical. And Beulah herself pretended to be a rancher, but in fact she was just an ordinary drug courier under a cartel. She didn't even sell meat.
Oriana also has an incomprehensible behavior, where is she going with this cuckoo Carter, it's even funny.
In general, I feel sorry for Robouille and my brother, my father said correctly, Beulah raised them without a rod, they did what their parents told them all their lives, and nothing good came of it.

@natamalika33: I finally didn't understand this joke with Beulah and drugs, she took it away, and all the barrels are on the Bat with Rip, and they seem happy, they didn't even try to brush it off, saying we don't have anything anymore. Everything is cool in this series, except Carter. Infuriating is impossible! I don't know how long it's been since the end of Yellowstone, but Beth doesn't seem to be as much of a hurricane as she used to be. Overall, it's a great sequel, and we're looking forward to the next season.

The first season is very good. Especially against the background of "Marshals", and "Madison River" too, otherwise they got too involved in a sentimental drama, even if it was nice to watch. There is no Montana here, but in Texas you can do a great job, which has already been proven by Landman))).

The series is kind of strange in terms of events and vibe, a bit theatrical. But Beth and Rip are still icons, darlings.

It's a pity that there won't be any more weekly cowboy kicks(
In my opinion, the spin-off came out worthy!
In such stories, the main question is why not inform the feds.

Yes, local cops can be bought or they are afraid.

But drug control or the FBI would definitely not be afraid of a cartel, and just for the sake of a phone call. In fact, everything has been revealed. Come to the ready

The second season will be in Mexico, apparently.
Have you ever had a premonition that the earth is about to open up and swallow up everything you love?
Once.
And I've had so many times that I've lost count. I was right every time.…

The season is great! I liked it, it was the second epic one.
Carter was an idiot, and he idiotically played his part in the heat of the moment. The Mexicans cleaned it up quickly.

Kino quickly removed his brother Rob-Will, who also turned out to be some kind of henpecked daddy.

Now Beulah and Ariana will join the Duttons in the war against the cartel)

I liked the whole season, except for this episode. I lost faith in what was happening at the moment when these 4 overwhelmed 5 trained Mexicans, without much fear, and even then turned into torturers. First, in the middle of the season, we are shown a scene where they tell us that they will remember the day on which they will shoot all the cattle for a long time, Zachariah, who is worried about an accident with his beloved, and then they ruthlessly deal with 5 militants and begin to torture one of them without blinking.
I understand that they wanted to kill them, but this does not mean that the heroes themselves are cold-blooded killers, well, maybe Rip can still do this out of habit.
And that's when I lost touch with the story, why turn it into an action movie.

Of course, I love this series because of Beth and Rip and as a continuation of the Dutton trilogy, but what an infuriating series this is. Beth can't find Carter the whole episode, but when he calls her, instead of telling him that a war with the cartel is coming, that it's a matter of life and death, and she's going home, she mumbles empty words. When the Mexican baron calls, they also don't tell him that Beulah has the goods, why, because it's better to call fire on yourself. Beulah, having taken the drugs, does not call anyone and does not tell them that she has the goods and that there is no need to arrange any showdowns. And what does the Mexican expect? That after killing Beulah's son, she would give the ranch to him and his offspring? And if not, then we should kill both her and her granddaughter. Well done, damn it. The appearance of this drug lord ruined the whole narrative and the course of events.

The season started more or less normally, but predictably slipped to the last episode, like the entire original series.
Once again, everything turns into some kind of Fast and Furious, where there is no logic, no meaning, but only a family. The cartel is based on a counter-gang through 5 cows. Although why would they need them if in the end they cheerfully drive through the same border armed to the teeth?
Carter was found, apparently, by the smell of stupidity.
Beth couldn't even tell her son when she was in touch that the cartel would be looking for him.
A dozen corpses are thrown into some kind of pit, so that they can be afraid for the rest of their days that there is a risk of burning down.
And so is every scene.
It's annoying...

The series was disappointing. That's the worst thing that could be done to the characters.
All characters are lost. The village's head sniveler, who grew up among cowboys, didn't last a day. Seriously?
Why was it necessary to move the characters from house to house at the beginning of the season in order to promote such a meaningless plot?
