@NeverMaze: The funny thing is that the user above, an ordinary consumer with a light hand will consider him crazy, without trying to understand the meaning of the message. And such as it is not sad - the majority. The comment itself turned out to be provocative, which refers back to 1990, when a certain Yumi Tamura composed the cult manga "Basara" (Japanese). The plot of the latter takes place in the supposed future, which has suffered a catastrophe. I will not go deeper, since you can do it yourself. I just want to say that this shoji manga found its reference after more than 20 years in the infamous Christopher Nolan film about a man in a bat suit (hello, those who from 2020 hear me? Hello?). To be more precise, the composer of the film Hans Zimmer turned to Tamura's work. The musician himself later told his interview: "Christopher sent me the script. Studying the role of Bane, I suggested Chris to add some wildness, a primal cry to his musical theme. Nolan sent me just two words - "Deshi Basara" - a fragment from a Japanese manga, which means "rise up" (ascend, rise up soon)." Speaking of allusions, regarding Walkers, this expression is quite simple to decipher. Including as a rehabilitation of the Governor as a person (although his actions cannot be washed away with any blood). Returning to Nolan, it is worth saying that he was slightly mistaken - the literal translation sounds like "he rises." But in this case, such an arrangement only complements an already tricky metaphor.
The beginning of the series, again this goat, how he infuriates with his revenge. He's so tenacious. Although there was no thought that the governor was killed
A good attempt by the screenwriters to evoke sympathy for the Governor, but they were too late - after the third season, I finally and irrevocably hate this character. The inserts with a photo of his family and the scenes with Megan are touching, of course, but not so much that you forget what he did.
I didn't think I'd ever start liking the Governor. Although it is not clear what else can be expected from him. A very interesting and unusual character.
The Governor's story is not so interesting that you need to devote an entire series to it. I don't like it when they do that - they talk about one character for forty minutes. Still, the alternation between different characters gives dynamism, anyway.
The poor guy's lips had grown overgrown and haggard in a month, but in dealing with Megan and Lily he showed himself to be surprisingly normal, merciful and damn lucky. =D I feel if the girl dies, he will be so bombed that it will not seem enough to anyone.
The beginning of the series is a little unclear - where did Governor Philip (Brian) put two of his people? - Drop the bags, let's run! - couldn't you have turned into the forest and somehow avoided the crowd? Throwing out the groceries and probably some other necessary things... and the end is WHAT? how? from where?
God!!! I think that's it. The last episode and sleep. About the Governor. Thought boredom. It was really a bit boring in places. AND THEN THE END! The last 3 seconds killed the whole dream in me, urgently watch the second episode!!! This series has worn out all my nerves!!!!!!!!!!
And yes, to the series. It seems to me that the Governor has received a second real chance to change and become a normal person. And if he goes back to his old ways, then I'll be disappointed in him.
And I'm terribly confused by geolocation in this series. Some kind of cliche, all the right characters in a huge forest are in the right places and meet =))) Well, is it a coincidence? I don't think
I also had no doubt that I would find cowardly people in the comments who forgave the governor. my advice to you is to re-watch the series before this episode, if the memory is so short :)
On the contrary, the series seemed to me like a breath of fresh air after all this bacchanalia in prison. Philip has an interesting plot coming out, no matter what anyone says :)
This Governor has already fucked up, to be honest He's going to be an asshole again, here's the information :D he's not just a villain misunderstood by others, he's a real sick bastard and a psychopath
The governor of Phil was most likely a completely normal person in his former life. Maybe even kind and loving, judging by the photo. But the end of the world made him change. And now he's a real trash, although sometimes there are sparks of a past life in his behavior. Ambivalent feelings towards this character - and you want to put your mouth down on a stake and send it to the clinic for treatment.
I kept myself in control the whole episode, trying not to fall under the spell of this freak - how well he still knows how to charm people! We've already seen how he did the same thing with Andrea, only there he was doing shit in parallel, and we saw her (and she didn't), and here he still has nowhere to turn around. But in some moments he even had an effect on me, I had to remind myself that he was a creature and he was doing it purposefully, and not out of kindness, like some kind of Rick.
I don't understand why they had to leave the place where they had been living quietly and safely for more than a year, for the sake of some damn guy (albeit terribly charming)
I'm glad Martinez is okay, I've liked him since he and Daryl hung out at the negotiations.
"No, pliz, let it not be a whole series about the Governor," I said in the first minutes.. Yeah.. And yes, if I felt a little sorry for him in the scenes with my daughter in the third season, then not at all in this episode, and in the process I began to like him even less.
They showed the new life of the Governor, and everything seems to be very good. He got a second chance, but I don't think he's going to give up his obsessive desire for revenge on Rick, Michonne and others. And he'll just blow this chance. 😐
I liked this episode. The Governor's character was revealed from a completely different side, it's even a bit pathetic, but that doesn't cancel out all the terrible things he did. The only episode when I didn't want to strangle the Governor with my own hands :)
the ending is cool - "AHRINET" :D
well, it's not evening yet
After the fight in the pit, I don't think he will die from the teeth of a biting man.
