In the penultimate episode, they told more information about Spike's past than in the previous 24 ... And I would love to see how Spike ended up in the syndicate, about meeting Julia, about the Bad Guy, about other minor characters, it seems it would be no less interesting.
You know, it's like this main line with Julia, with Raven, the Syndicate, somehow I didn't get hooked at all. Maybe because they were told very little about them during the entire anime? Don't know. But simple rides in space for individual criminals have sunk into the heart more than the main branch of the plot.
@Kritik-tok: I would not call a story whose narration takes less than 1/5 of the series the main one. Just one of them. The story about the Syndicate is distinguished from the rest by the fact that it was the beginning (and, most likely, the end) of Spike's journey.
As it is, there is no main story in this series, in my opinion.
