There are hints of serious and dark fantasy. That's just very easy. Still, the series tries very hard to be light and humorous. Seriously, they even try not to show blood here once again. Although Kinopoisk claims that the rating is 18+.
I liked the scene in the cemetery. Well written and played. Although at first I did not understand the claim from my grandfather. It's only been 20 years. Well, 50 would be fine, then it would be a little pointless to wait for the Seeker. Then I remembered that it was the Middle Ages here and at the age of 13-15 you are already a full-fledged adult. Probably, people thought that the Seeker would return at this age. But still, not that much. They couldn't expect him to swing a sword right from infancy.
The scene where the women called themselves the mothers of the Seeker is literally "I am Spartacus!"
The series had every chance of ending right here if Mark hadn't been pretending. Richard is a good man, but he's dumb. Well, like a dude locked you in a basement a couple of hours ago, hoping to turn you over to the soldiers, and you come to him again. Seriously? Didn't you find another plan? The execution episode, by the way, is also funny. Mark wounded the main guard, but for some reason did not think of freeing Richard. It was lucky that Zed turned out to be incredibly accurate. In the last episode, I burned the poor rabbit, but here I burned the rope so clearly. Well done. And yes, the crowd, with the help of some stones, beats up guards armed with swords. Yeah, I do.
But okay, the series is still good. And my soul rejoices when I see heroes on horseback or a sufficient number of people in the background. Everything is quite authentic. I just remember the Witcher, where the streets are deserted, and three cripples from the crowd. You can't make out anything in the night scenes either... In short, I need very little for happiness))
