As I understand it, the title of the series is a reference to the anime "Shop of Horrors". Smart Chubby is Stephen Hawking (Rest in Peace), and puppet movies have awakened such nostalgia for the old Sinbad movie :)

It's a very scary episode, the story with the hands is cute, chubby is funny, I feel sorry for this customer, and the story about Mabel's fear is creepy.
